She watched the events unfold in front of her, as the blood and carnage spread throughout the bridge. The toxicity of it all almost dragged her to the bath, but even she knew that a trip to the hot vacation spot was a one way ticket to the grave. Watching the events unfold she picked up a few things.
1. The floor manager she encountered the other day at the casino was someone high up on the company ladder. 2. The Citadel either has the Tower's backing or Tower support if needed.
And most importantly.
3. He was alive.
It took her some time to fully understand, she had stepped away from a place of politics due to it bringing back more memories of Michael, memories she needed locked away for the time being. She never got the autopsy report on the gunman, just a description that seemed to match the man. Two different people embracing on the field, matching the descriptions of appearances from her second hand accounts she gathered. This presented an opportunity but it also presented a major problem.
Paige had a gateway, an easy to see gateway that can get her to Blythe, but the problem is that they were kept within Citadel walls. Bad enough she has to deal with the lies that Hatty Bellcrest spewed to her only hours ago, now she had to deal with the problem of luring the male and/or female out of their hidyhole when the fighting is over.
"Boss, it's arrived," the telephone loudspeaker spoke out.
It appears another opportunity has arrived on time. If she can't drag them out, she'll force them out with the power of Red Sand.

- Felix - “Because,” Felix landed softly on the ground, “if they see you leave with me, they’ll be coming for you too.” He looked up at Ripley hovering next to him with a worried expression. He didn’t want to put Ripley in his parent’s spotlight, especially since Lorraine wasn’t the only one looking for him anymore.
- Jade Blythe - Jade blinked a couple of times with the frown still on her face, confused at what the Broker just said. He was making even less sense than usual, so she glanced at the mouse given the orders to see if he understood what the Broker meant. “But I thought you said we couldn’t enter the building?”

- DAGGER -
“I'm sorry but all planes to Heartania are currently delayed. It may take a few hours until the next plane will be safe to land there, my apologies for any inconvenience,” came the sweet yet sharp voice of the tall thin woman behind the desk, her tone dulled by the repetitive nature of such information. Sarah sighed loudly, gaining a sharp glance from Sight whereas Sparrow simply smirked and told the woman that he understood, the trio soon making their way to the small seats that were full to the brim, one row, in particular, being mostly absent and providing the perfect place for them to reside. Sarah sat on the last seat, right on the edge, watching as Sight and Sparrow sat together, next to her.
Sight and Sparrow were one of the few people that Sarah knew and almost came to understand back home, back at the mansion under the guise of her mother. The two of them were twins, both at the age of nineteen and never seemed to speak about their family, always staying with one another yet Sarah heard it was their powers which made them so different. Sight had the ability to see in different ways, echo-sense, heat vision, night vision, but never able to see the real world in all its colour, only switching between those sights but yet remaining blind all the same, yet all whilst being skilled at combat, armed and at the ready to take Sarah down on the training mat. His brother, his twin, more secluded, more to himself and yet still sharing similar skills. Both of them were identical with striking blonde hair, the same visage of a pale face illuminated with brown eyes, their bodies were even the same though Sight at least had some muscular definition. Sparrow was tall, thinner like Dagger had their own weapon of choice they could summon at their will, a bow and arrow but all the more deadly with it; whispers circling around the different arrows he could conjure.
Sarah, on the other hand, went by her real name, the name her real mother had apparently given to her. She liked Dagger, but Sarah was who she truly was. She leaned back in her chair, giving another audible sigh and catching the attention of Sparrow, giving her another smirk. If anything, the attitudes of both brothers were different, Sparrow at least seemed to know how to have a bit of fun whenever they could.
“Are you bored already, Sarah?” questioned Sparrow raising an eyebrow as Sarah glanced at him rolling her eyes.
“Yep. What's going on in Heartania that's causing all these flight delays?” asked Sarah, her gaze returning back to reality as she glanced at all the anxious people, she noticed a lot of them calling and texting, catching the desperate pleas for 'son', 'daughter', 'mom', 'dad', 'sister', 'brother', all of them through panicked voices and teary faces. Sarah turned to see Sparrow, and even Sight, gazing at the aforementioned crowds of panicked people.
“No idea, some big battle last I heard. A lot of rumours going around about what's going on,” Sight explained, Sparrow and Sarah both turning towards him. Sight shrugged his shoulders. “Well you all hear the 'prophecies' she keeps muttering under her breath, ravens fall and roses grow, nonsense half the stuff she says. I mean, who's ever heard of a falling raven?” Sarah shrugged her shoulders.
“Beats me,” she replied as she went back to glancing at the front desk, somewhat keen to see another family disappointed at the flight delays for Heartania. “Anyway, I just hope we get there soon.” And with that, the twins agreed.

||| PROJECT : SUPERNOVA ||| The punch connected with Supernova's chest, dealing little damage to its hardened frame thanks to the strands of light converging to cushion the attack, but knocking it back through the air a substantial distance. Reeling and losing flight control, the android activated its stabilisers and steadied itself, now several metres from its target. New attack form recorded. Preparing. The light trickled back from the android's torso into its hand, which was now balled in a fist. Thrusting itself forward to its foe, it held that same hand behind it. Project Supernova had rebuilt the connection that allowed it to learn, and now it would show the woman it was modeled after how a real powerhouse fought. Reaching its opponent in a matter of seconds, Supernova threw its fist into Grace's chest, replicating her very attack. However, the hydraulic systems that mobilised the being's limbs empowered the punch, lending it significantly more force than the one the human had thrown.

- JONATHAN KRAMER - Jade caught him off guard, she was right. Two different things had come out of his mouth. Both inside is safe but it is also inside that is the most exposed to the line. He froze in place, what could he do? There needs to be something he could draw out, he always had a trump card, but even when close to victory he was out of a hand. He needed something, he needed an asse--. His eyes widened. "Shade? You around?" he called out.
- ANDRAS MORGAN - "GRENADE!" An explosion rang out from behind Andras as the line kept it's strength. The back was slightly damaged, but the ringing, the familiar yet foreign ringing in Andras' ears was enough to give him a sense of disorientation. He took a deep breath and turned to Claudia. She had squinted from the spray cloud the shockwave before she looked back at Andras. "Speed up?" Andras nodded. It would be a struggle, but it needed to be done. "FIVE STEPS JAB!" He called out, and on his signal the line took five steps forward and took a jab at whoever was closest to the front.
- NATASHA MCCALL - One had slipped by, she needed to do better, stay better, but first. The canteen she carried by her waist had hurried itself towards her mouth, but before a single drop of the much needed water could be inserted, her attention was diverted. It seemed someone on the ground decided to take a shot at her, and although she was able to stop the shot, it had the nasty side effect of diverting her attention away from another life source. The three bullets she was able to stop dead in the track meant that her attention was redirected from the water. The canteen had fallen out of sight, she couldn't see it, but the people on the ground still needed the much needed support. She would have to wait. She strummed hard, and the splinters from the fallen artificial walls fired itself towards the enemies at the gate, but she already felt the pain. Her temples had begun to squeeze close to themselves, it needed to be done quick.

THE SCOTTS Heartania | Citadel Vault 1st December 2063 | 06:08PM From within the vault, two figures sat amongst the chaos. One woman, with red rosy cheeks and a healthy figure, alongside a man with ginger hair and mousy facial features, accentuated by his large glasses. They had tried their best to calm those around them down; reassuring that everything would be alright. Indeed, they would have succeeded if the vault door hadn't opened so spectacularly. A big, hulking, brute of a man stood in the distance, as a much more normal looking individual approached the vault. They called out for 'the Scotts', calling out for them. The female stood forward, bearing similar (though aged) features as the famed light-wielder hero. "That's us. Did the Chancellor send you? Argent Mind?" GRACE SCOTT | STARLASS Heartania | Citadel Outskirts 1st December 2063 | 06:09PM Though the blow wasn't as impact as she would have liked; landing a successful attack on the cruel imitation felt good. Grace had no time to rest on her laurels, however, as the android quickly mounted a counter-attack. Luckily for her, it was a carbon copy of what she had just done. Upon realising this, she dropped her flight, descending at breakneck speed, dodging the strike. As quickly as she disengaged her areal maneuvers, she reengaged them; cautiously returning to her previous height with a confident smirk on her face. She had been away from this for far too long. Seizing the initiative, the maiden of light began to fly around her foe, gaining speed with each cycle. As she did so, she fired a continuous beam of light to the centre of her circle-like trajectory: right to the armoured assassin. With luck, she could continue spinning round and round, until the shining plate was reduced to a mess of liquid metal, and fried circuit. You might look like me, but you just can't beat the real thing.

Pathfinder Pathfinder looked at the people gathered in the Vault, and then at the two who had stood towards him. He noted that the woman looked quite similar to Starlass, albeit older of course. He was about to speak before pausing, realizing that it probably wasn't a great idea to tell them that he ran the East City Rooks, as they didn't have a great rep outside of their own neighborhood. "I wouldn't trust the Chancellor with a dollar loan, he'd sooner stab me in the back than pay it off. Your daughter sent us to spring you two out. I'm Pathfinder, the big guy's Compound. Though I wouldn't shake his hand for a little while if you value your own." He glanced around. The more he saw of the Citadel, the less he wanted to be here. Hoping the Scotts would agree to leave without any problems, he continued. "I can run with one of you out of here and bring you to a car about a block away, I have a friend who can give them a ride. Compound can bring the other out of the Citadel and your daughter will be able to escort them away from there. But we need to leave immediately. I'll leave it for you two decide, who wants to go with me and who wants to go with Compound?" He motioned to his partner at the vault door with a nod of his head, "He's friendlier than he looks, promise. Just don't tell the Chancellor."

THE SCOTTS Heartania | Citadel Vault 1st December 2063 | 06:08PM Mrs. Scott nodded with understanding, and then turned to her husband with a warm, yet forced smile. It was clear the situation was difficult for her. "Harry, you go with with our friend here. I'm sure the buy guy won't bite," she chuckled faintly, and then returned to business, "I don't like it either... but if it's what Grace wants..." Mr. Scott nodded, and took a step forward, offering a hand to his now-escort, "Harrison Scott, seeing how you know my daughter, I'm guessing you have one of those superhuman powers, right?" his next words were a lot quieter, and thoughtful, "I never thought she could live this sort of life."

~ Snowflake ~ Snowflake raced forwards, running over the blood and bodies in her way, slipping past the few fighting pairs who were closer to the frontline. The crowd thickened and Snowflake focused on finding the right spot to divide the forces from. Just between the leaders of each faction, Snowflake saw where the cramped line would have to form if she was to buy the Ravagers some time. A grenade went off and distracted the opposite force momentarily before they started pushing forth again with even more force, trying to drive back Nariko’s mercenaries and whoever was still thirsting for blood. Snowflake pushed as close to the frontline as she could without directly stepping into the line of fire, being careful not to engage with anyone while she focused on emptying her head and numbing out the physical pain she felt in her ribcage with every breath. In the pouring rain Snowflake had never been stronger as she started tapping into whatever she’d felt earlier towards Crimson- confusion, anger, and a little dose of hatred. It wasn’t too unlike the time she unleashed the blizzard over Heartania two months ago. But now, instead of letting the rage and pain out in a piercing cry, she squinted her eyes and felt the turmoil in her chest build up until eventually she let it out. With an inaudible whimper she scrunched her fists together and raised the barrier from the red water on the ground, creating a thick curtain which quickly rose up between the forces across the bridge and created a barrier between them. The pouring rain froze upon impact with the wall, making it grow thicker by the second while Snowflake stood there still, exerting as much of her power as she could on building the wall.

-Wild Card- Wild card was still running as he saw one of the Ravagers running in the opposite direction coming towards him, Wild card grabbed a hold on Ms Diamonds hand and pulled her so that she could keep up with him, just as the ice cold ravager was about to pass she clenched her fists together and ice started to spread across the bridge, as the ice rose Wild card leaped and pulled Ms Diamond towards him and held her as the wall rose quickly, Wild card turned in the air and landed on his back on the other side of the wall facing the Citadel "well... now where on this side" Ms Diamond said as she looked up and saw the Citadel "you can let go of me now" she continued as Wild card let her go and stand up "sorry" he said as he turned over, as he stood up he heard shouting from the other side "hey boss i didnt get through, what should i do?" the body guard on the other side of the wall said Wild card looked up at the wall "well you have two choices, 1. you can stay here and fight and probably die or 2. you can find a way out and maybe see your family, its up to you" Wild card said, with out hearing a reply from the body guard he didnt know whether or not he would see him again, Ms Diamond walked up to him still holding her rifle "so what now?, the two of us storm the Citadel on our own?" she said "no i believe this is all Ms Reaver show know, i think we should go see her" he said as he walked over to Reaver "whos this Reaver any way?" Ms Diamond asked having never met her before "an old friend" Wild card answered

- CLAUDIA KRAMER - The sudden rise of a red wall caught the line off guard, and the emergence of the barrier caused Claudia to swing her shield arm in the air. A shard had clipped hers and many others, and while it meant that no more harm could be done, the turrets were not on. "Goddamn it!" she muttered to herself, spitting on the ground next to her while observing her flank. No more enemies, just friendlies and the injured. "At least we got them between two walls." "But it also means we have no way to end this quickly," said Andras, analysing the wall. "You got anything that could break this down?" Claudia was reminded of what was tucked away at the palm of her hand, some breach charges, mainly for doors when chasing wanted people but were quite effective. "You think you could break through it?" "Might take some time, you got any other ideas?" Claudia quickly planted the charges and told everyone to stand back. They went off and a small dent and some cracks emerged in the wall. Andras delivered some swings of his blade as the cracks grew and the dent grew and... ...nothing. It was still up, and the charges were already detonated. In due time they would break through, but it wouldn't be fast enough. "Any other ideas?" Andras looked upwards, trying to find an end to the wall, instead, he saw.
- NATASHA MCCALL - There was a wall, big one, red, icy, made by the woman of ice? Maybe, maybe not, maybe a trick. Her thoughts had grown more erratic as her eyesight deteriorated and her eyes started crawling back into the skull. It was unpleasant, and trying to drink the rainwater wasn't working, wasn't fresh and clean given the irony. "Ah!" she briefly yelled out, snapping a small shard of the wall unintentionally. Her breathing quickened and she needed to absorb the situation, wasn't good, needed water, two sides separate, easy targets? Good. She needed to make short work of them, or at least inflict as much as she could. Her finger started playing a low note, and then the tune got higher and higher and faster and faster. The remaining pieces of rock that littered the field was torn up against the wall and rose. McCall's head caved in more and more, and the pain of it all was enough to drive her mad, but she needed to go on. The plucks got faster and faster as the notes got higher and higher, and despite her unfocused nature she started to make it rain. Fire fell from above the wall as the woman nearing the state of pain kept strumming and strumming. Her fingers started to splinter, her breathing got louder and sharper, and the pain to her eyes was unbearable to the point she screamed in frustration, damn the consequences. Her breathing became dry as her eyes darted all over the place looking for the canteen full of water, she couldn't find it, where the fuck was it? Where is it? It has to be around? Rain fire, drink repeat, kill the girl, save the city, skin her alive, take off her skin, kill them all, KILL THEM ALL? Her thoughts started to slow as she became sick and her eyes became dreary to the point that she was losing track of where she was. She began to fall back to earth, weak, empty, a barely conscious lump of meat falling on one side of the wall, increasing in speed with no resistance stopping her. As she neared the earth, whatever energy she had left was reserved for one of her fingers. One pluck played a default note, enough for her to change her angle of approach. She landed at full speed and broke her guitar in half. She skipped on the surface like a stone on water, rolling around like a sack of potatoes with little resistance on her end. She skidded on the surface before she came to a stop. No reaction, no response, McCall wasn't in this world, her body was too battered and bruised to open her eyes. She needed rest, just some...rest....yes, rest will do.

Reaver Reaver darted forwards, keeping up with Snow with relative ease as they closed with he main battle line. With a flick of her wrist, she deflected a few stray bullets, covering her ally from any attack as they carried out the master plan. Whenever a straggler crossed their path, it was Reaver who dispatched them with bullet and blade, keeping the way clear as they pushed onward into the thick of it. In moments, they were in position, and the time had come for Snow to change all their fortunes for the better. As the vast, glittering barrier came into being, Reaver couldn't help but break into a wide grin. It was powerful monument to the power of her closest companion, and it was enough to strike no small amount of awe. Standing ready to ensure no one interrupted its creation, felt a vast amount of satisfaction at what they were doing. With this first act, the time had come to strike back. The Broker may have been considering breaking out the victory champagne when his new friends had arrived. She would happily smash those bottles on his head, and drive the glass into his eyes. It was a pretty image to imagine. Nariko Falling back against the armoured push, Nariko and her men moved in good order despite the chaos of the situation. As it was, they were to be rewarded for their discipline, because as they moved in their retreat they were covered by the interjection of the Ravagers. The battle-worn Tyrant stood back with a smirk s the mighty shield was put between them and their attackers. It was a a damn good thi- "DOWN!" She bellowed, and at once, her troops dropped to the floor and covered their heads as the barrage tore overhead. Nariko felt fragments crack into her armour, and as the storm passed she could make out the grunts and cries of the men around her among the clattering of rubble bouncing around wildly. And then, as fast as it began, it was over. Grimacing at the new bruises, Nariko struggled up, bellowing for a report of injuries from her troop. Replies came from all angles, and she breathed a sigh of relief. A few broken bones, a few pierced suits, several damaged weapons... But no deaths. They were battered, sure. But never broken. Reaver When a person is faced by the threat of doom, they fall back on their most base of instincts. The thought that comes natrually, the split second decision based on what matteres above all, free of all other fears and complex ideas- that is what rules in that moment. When the cloud of rock came down upon them, Reaver had this moment. And, for Reaver, who had always put her first first, this thought was to stand in front of Snowflake and shield her from all that would come. There was nothing else to do. Twin swords ready, Reaver's world slowed as she exerted her speed to it's greatest extent. Every stone that flew towards them was met by her steel as her arms danced among the stone volley, deflecting all that came close. She missed some, of course, but these met her body armour as her body itself became a wall for which Snow could be defended. It hurt, of course, but she hardly had time to care as her focus honed in on her one purpose. The threat passed in seconds, but for Reaver, it felt far longer. It was a world in which everything was simple. And then it was over. Reaver was left covered in dust, surrounded by broken rocks and fallen rubble. A few seconds passed as Reaver stood there, solid as the stone she had deflected, waiting for more to come. Then, when nothing did, she doubled over and began to gasp for breath, coughing up the dust that had assaulted her throat. Jason Jason, locked in his one man brutal crusade, barely heard the cries and bellows behind him. There was simply too much going on, too much carnage and chaos and hate and fear, for him to know what was coming. When the rocks struck, he was out in the open. When it was over, be was battered, bruised, and bleeding, with several small shards embedded in his back. He could do little but gasp in shock and pain as he fell to his knees, as the world darkened before his eyes.

- THE VIPER -
Rick glanced up at the growth of the blood-ridden wall, his eyes wide as the Vipers around him were confused, shocked as the icy wall in front of them mounted the bridge. At the very least, it was a buffer, a way to pause the fighting, and yet concern grew on his mind as he realized that him, as well as the others, were now trapped. To make matters worse, as he glanced up at the sky, hearing the thunderous sound of music, and the shards that were soon to rain upon him. Pushing any nearby Vipers out of the way, he suddenly felt shards shatter upon his body, cutting deep as he held his arm up, in hopes he could protect himself any further. It barely worked, as he grunted with pain before a shard crashed into his shoulder, nearly embedding itself into his neck, he collapsed. He was breathing heavily as he felt his vision begin to blur, blood beginning to drip out of his many short yet sharp cuts. A voice rang out in his mind, calling his name and it was only when he was swept away into an icy slumber, that he could respond.
*
“Rick!” Rick awoke suddenly, quickly looking around as two hands grabbed his own arms, as a way to calm him down. He blinked as he tried to get the bearings of his surroundings, narrowing his eyes as he saw more men and women, dressed in green and walking by, guns in their hands smiling as they spoke to one another. They walked down stairs, leaned on railings and gazed out of windows as Rick glanced around at the familiar setting, the factory, the home of the Vipers. He glanced back down at the two thinner arms grabbing his wrists, looking up and he saw her, with long blonde hair and brown eyes, she raised an eyebrow and smiled as Rick stood up. “It's just a bad dream.” She added.
“Andrea,” muttered Rick as he got up, he felt a familiar weight in his hand as he looked down at the gun in his clutches, holding it expertly as he looked around, still shocked. “What's going on here?” Andrea's smile became a frown, as she looked confused, furrowing her brows.
“Nothing is going on, I just found you, muttering in your sleep. You know it's not normal to be found sleeping with your head against a wall, right?” She joked, but Rick wasn't laughing. Was it all a dream? Was his mind playing tricks on him? He wanted to believe it, but part of his mind still held onto doubt as tightly as it did for dear life. “Are you feeling alright?”
“No.” Rick replied.
“Tell me, what's wrong,” said Andrea as she stepped forward, a hand on the side of his face, as he almost wanted to smile, but he couldn't. “Was it that dream you were having or is it something else?”
“I don't know.” Rick sighed as he had a hard time putting what happened into words, if it was a dream, it was an odd nightmare and if it wasn't, then a dream wouldn't help absolve his thoughts. It was then and there when his heart jumped, as he realized what this was, what this could be as he heard a Viper claim he was going outside, apparently hearing or seeing someone out there. “Andrea, we need to go,” claimed Rick as Andrea took a step away, even more, confused and almost scared as Rick kept his eye on the door below. He took a glance at Andrea.
“What are you talking-” But it was too late. As Rick's eyes trailed back from the door to Andrea, he watched as a bullet broke through her skull, her lifeless body falling down as her eyes rolled into the back of his head, and it was then when Rick looked down to see him, the man that was here to take them all, before he woke up.
*
Rick gasped for air once more, wrestling the pain as he slowly clambered up, feeling shards stuck in his skin, movement itself seemed to be painful as if every step was like walking on glass. He grunted as he felt himself pulling several shards out of his skin, relieving some of the pain, as he glanced at the Vipers, none of them hurt, barely any of the shards connecting with their skin. He felt a familiar weight in his hands, and yet all the same he tried to abolish his nightmare.

Pathfinder Pathfinder smirked as he led the Scotts to the Vault's entrance, where Compound was waiting. "Alright Compound, Mrs. Scott will be going with you, and I'll take Harrison here. Keep an eye out for Starlass. If I get the chance, I'll go give you a hand." He nodded to Compound and picked up Harrison, with one arm around the man's back and the other under his knees, "Not many of us get a choice in the matter. I dunno if your daughter did or not, but she seems to have done good with it, which is better than a lot of others. Now, hold on." Then Pathfinder began his run, working on making his way out of the Citadel. The world surrounding him became a blur. Though his speed was a bit slower than he would have liked, that was to be expected when he had to keep his eye on another.
