Shade The kid was bloody heavy, but with one arm around her shoulder, Shade was able to drag him to the gates without collapsing. She could see the enemy regrouping on the other side, near that bloody great big wall. It was terrifying- they didn't have long, and the way Jason was bleeding, he had even less if no one patched him up. "Hey! Let us in!" She bellowed up at the gatehouse, hoping with all her being that someone would listen. Reaver Reaver pushed herself upright, and turned to see both Nariko and Wild Card approaching them. It was enough to make her forget her bruising and grin. It was just like their attack on the city all over again, same faces, same foe. How many people had followed Acchileus onto this bridge? Too many. The ones left where the ones Reaver knew. The ones that deserved to be here. Truly, there were none better than her friends. "Mr Wild Card, it truly is a lovely evening now that you're here!" She laughed, eyes glittering in the light of the fires and the storm. It was time to sell them all on her grand strategy. If they listened, they might well all make it out alive. "Now, I don't know about you guys, but I think this whole fight has become a real shitshow. That prat Acchilleus is dead, many of his forces have broken, and we've been left out in the open with a army at our backs and a fortress on the other. Frankly, Libertas fucked up, and now everyone, his men and ours, is paying the price." She stood tall, and set her eyes upon the Citadel. It would all end there. "We have to finish this, and finish this fast. I can get us all out of here alive. Thank's to Snow's magnificent work..." She gave Snowflake an appreciative glance. "We have time. Time to storm that castle and claim a win, if only a moral one. The Broker may, sadly, not die today. But we can make him bleed, beg, and falter. So, do you all trust me to do this?" She raised her voice, shouting to the Vipers as well. "Are you willing to follow me into battle, so that we all can live? No more cowering back, no more weak men leading you into poor plans! Come with me, and we will finish this!"

“Vipers!” Rick turned back, calling back over his shoulder, his voice carried by the sharp cold winds, the tall icy wall casting them all in shadow as he glanced at their tired bloodied faces, deep cuts, and blood staining them, as these same scars were on his own visage. He was shaken, by the battle and by his thoughts, the bullet that just barely pierced his chest, his own hands somehow getting it out, and the dream...Andrea, all of it cast itself against his mind. Everything and anything that could have gone wrong had seemingly happened, and yet though it was unlike him, he found himself clinging to the hope of a silver lining through all of this, the Vipers were not dead just yet and neither was he.
Rick turned back, nodding at the woman, as he reloaded his gun, every bullet was like willpower, scarce and draining, cast aside onto the rocky floor embedded in corpses, or scattered amongst the ground, soaked in blood. The Vipers seemed apprehensive at best, and yet like Rick followed his lead in knowing that this was their only chance of getting out of this alive. Some nodded, whilst others shook their head in the icy cold rainwater, Rick mustered whatever approval he could out of them and now focused on the woman, leading the Vipers over towards her as he cocked his gun. The echo of the icy wall, the torrent of rainwater that struck the ground and the continued sounds of fighting and gunfire all joined one another in a chaotic sparse that could never be recollected, a strum of sounds that seemed to frighten and shroud the bridge in a haze of death and blood wherever one should go. Rick glanced at the woman, discounting those around her and the supporters she seemed to have claimed, “I hope you have a plan to get us out of here.” He turned to glance at the tall icy wall, wondering and hoping that it would hold for the time being, but even still with a great wall blocking their path and nothing more but their enemy behind them, they were encircled, surrounded, with no way out.

- JONATHAN KRAMER - His eyes were becoming more unfocused, it was something he had experienced only minutes later, but back then he knew that he could've at least recovered to a substantial degree. Electricity was around him, a spark had shocked his hand, and now the voices were talking. Too many. The muffled screams of an individual entered his mind, before an image finally appeared. "Wh...what?" Jonathan replied, entering a state of shellshock. "WE GOT SHADE AND THOMPSON ON THE OTHERSIDE, THEY WANT IN." They had to yell at him in order to get the message in his head. "What about....the..." he shook his head. Get back into the game Jon! "What about the enemy?" "There's some distance". Think quick he did, actions he took. "We do this quick, open it enough to get them through." The two went in two different directions, and the shutter opened, but only a crack, enough to see what state Jason was in. His mind was washed with pure nothing, hard to take in anything. He took on part of Jason's weight, and started to drag him in.

Alice Drake She was done crying. She was far done crying. But she sat there still, slumped by her brother simply watching him. Alice had spoke to him one last time, but at what cost. Here he was; dead, and by her hand, and now she just had to find a way to live with it. "You lose someone too?" Breaking the monotony, the voice made Alice shudder as she turned sluggishly to face it. She swore she had never reacted to something this slowly. "Oren." she muttered as her mouth twitched and contorted back and forth from a smile to neutral, unable to maintain one face. Alice maintained eye contact with her broken ally for many moments before her spine twitched, the darkness setting in as she remembered her other loss. "Did you...?" Alice said plainly to Oren, her lips continuing to move in decreasing amounts as she trailed into silence, referring to Sienna's body. Had he disposed of it already.
ROGUE | Natalia Vargas The Warden now faced the pair, inspecting them. So this was him; despite his age his fierce eyes, mighty frame and sleek, dark outfit rendered him fearful and respectful. This was someone she couldn't help but want to impress. Quickly Natalia interjected, "Ah, of course. I am called Rogue and my brother is Warlock. We are.. well... were associates of Knight." "I don't know who you are, so that's a good place to start."

>> SONAR << The water canteen was only a few feet away, but to Johnny's fallen friend it must have felt like a mile. He reached for it, shaking it a little to test its capacity - there was about a mouthful left, hopefully enough to revive Frequency at least a little. He brought the rim of the bottle to her lips, pouring the cool liquid into her mouth slowly and carefully. The battle was drawn well away from their location. A huge ice wall had split the other end of the bridge, and most of the combatants were struggling over how they would bypass the barrier. Only a few stragglers were still in their vicinity, and they had more important things to do than worry about a couple of injured superhumans. The water slowed to a dribble, then only a few drops. "Was that enough? Here, sit up." The stinging feeling across his back resurfaced as Johnny exerted his torso muscles, trying to lever Frequency upright. "You'll be fine." He still had pain digging at both his body and mind, pain that made him want to just lay down on the concrete and let everything end itself. But Sonar was a hero, and heroes had things to get done before they could go breaking down. >> COMPOUND << Compound walked slowly, leading Mrs. Scott behind him. Naturally, they hadn't spoken much, but luckily Pathfinder's instructions were enough for him to at least function as an escort for the woman. As far as he was concerned, all he had to do right now was make sure he was in the way of any attacks aimed at her. Conversation wan't paramount to succeeding in that task. The hallways wound over each other like a labyrinth, but following the trail to the exit turned out to be a faster task than anticipated. Compound wrenched the emergency exit door open, the icy wind charging past him, biting gently at his dulled nerve endings. It must have been plenty cold, however, since he heard his quarry gasp audibly when the outside temperature struck her. The 'man' shuffled his oversized body into the outdoor air, stepping onto the sheet of ice covering the Citadel's surrounding lake, and spotted the vehicle that carried Mr. Scott as it mades its getaway. However, something else was happening nearby. lights were flashing through the sky. It was strange enough to barely grab the beast's attention as his countdown continued. 12... 11... 10...His transformation neared its end. Compound rushed across the ice, gesturing Mrs. Scott to follow. They reached cover by a large, outcropping rock just in time. Compound began panting loudly, and hunched over into a standing fetal position. Slowly, his body shrank, and his skin gained colour once again. His hair bunched together in a tight mop of copper brown, and his coat went from stretched to its limit to being almost too big for the weedy man it covered. And, all at once, he felt the cold. Edison shivered as he checked the interface on his COMA device. Dangerously high dosage. I'll need about twelve hours to work that one off.He looked up, smiling. His ward must be awfully confused right about now. "Sorry about that, Mrs. Scott. I never introduced myself properly. Doctor Edison Mills, I'm an associate of your daughter's. Unfortunately, I'm no longer as bulletproof as I like to be, so I guess we'll be waiting here until some support turns up." >> PROJECT: SUPERNOVA << Language algorithms at 60% function. Nuanced conversation now within capabilities.Supernova came closer to Grace, now hovering ten feet away from its target. Light jumped from one arm to the other, the veins charging for a counterattack should her foe be preparing a trap. "Fight you? I apologise if you got the wrong idea, Grace. I don't want to fight you." Slowly, scanners keeping her surroundings in check, Supernova landed within a few metres of Starlass. "I'd much rather you die without a fight. Can that be arranged?" It reached back, ready to throw another beam attack with the white-hot light it had collected. >> ARES WARBANDER << Excalibur's steel bit into the ice, and took out a chunk of frozen dust. Ares had left a mark on the wall, but at this rate it would be hours before he could make a hole big enough to mean anything. He turned to the soldiers around him, the ones who had suddenly found themselves separated from the enemies that they had been bearing down on, looking to see if any of them had a solution on hand. Unfortunately, none of them did. He pushed through the ranks of mice to their commander, a man easy to find thanks to his stature holding him a few heads above any normal human. "You, giant! Got a plan here? We were winning until our enemy put up this damn thing."

GRACE SCOTT | STARLASS Heartania | Citadel Outskirts 1st December 2063 | 06:11PM A chilling sensation shook Grace as she noticed the heightening register of the android's language. She recalled how it had mimicked her previous attacks, as well as her general appearance. It wasn't just a copy of her, it was copying her. She couldn't allow that to continue. "If you think I'd roll down and die without a fight, then you must have some faulty wiring inside that tin can of yours." She performed a faux-backflip; using the mobility provided by her flight to complete the spectacle, and then threw a beam of light toward the bile-ridden mouth of her impersonator. CLYDE ERWIN | KINETIC WARDEN Heartania | Citadel Outpost Alpha 1st December 2063 | 06:12PM The girl was earnest, and spoke with a degree of respect that the Warden had not typically seen in such a fast-paced and tense environment. Her manners were not the most striking aspect of her character, however. The Warden had only met Knight once, on the night that the city fell to chaos. The pair had managed to return order to the prison, subduing the rioting inmates. But since, the two had not met again, and the armoured hero had disappeared. His absence was felt across the Tower. Looking out to the battle, he spoke with a gruff tone to his voice, "Then we can discuss his whereabouts later. For now... if you two are even a scar of what he is, then you will be imperative in bringing calm to this storm. Try to solve this situation in any way you can, Rogue, keep in contact if you need us."

Reaver A battered, damaged looking man approached Reaver, marching at the head of the last few Vipers. They were a sorry lot, vastly diminished from their mighty host at the battle's start- morale was clearly low, and hopes were lower. Nevertheless, there was a fire in each of their eyes. These men and women didn't want to die out here, and would fight. She would be able to use that. Turning to face their commander, she locked eyes with him, displaying her confidence without sign of weakness. "Yeah, I have a plan, and it'll get you and your men out of here. You see, my friend, its time we pushed back. We can't get out of here without fighting, and you can't get out of here without me. So, let me promise you this. If you and your men do what I say from here on in, you live. If you fail to back me up, you're probably all going to die here." She began to stride forwards, waving her arm so all her allies would follow. "I don't have time for men who won't listen to me, so if you're going to follow me into survival, stick close." Shade The gates parted, and Shade was able to drag Jason inside the safety of the walls. As she pushed in, the Broker was there to help them, taking some of the weight off of the clearly flagging shadow being. As they struggled into the Citadel, Shade began to look wildly for medical support. Jason's blood was beginning to coat her arm, and as he groaned, she began to panic.

“Whatever, just get us the hell out of here,” exclaimed Rick as he called over the other Vipers towards him, the last remnants of the gang now with him as he glanced up at the tall and large wall of ice. Rick seemed to be the only Viper who wasn't relieved, it may have bought them some time but they were trapped and with no way out. Rick glanced back, looking at the bloodied and bullet-ridden bridge turned battlefield, chunks of ice continued to drift underneath the bridge as the rain continued its downpour. At this rate, it felt like the world had been swept against them, and part of him wouldn't be surprised if they were to be killed right here and right now. At any rate, unless ships were sailing, Rick couldn't see any way out of this situation without fighting their way out, one way or another that's what he intended to do. He glanced at the Vipers, watching their stoic expressions as they seemed to realize the exact same thing. The one thing he was worried about, however, was not only for the lack of numbers, but ammo. It seemed that this entire miasma of blood had only given him anxieties and demons that would have to be dealt with at another time, right now he was more concerned if he was going to get out alive to face them.

- JONATHAN KRAMER - He carried him through, and the gate shutter once again slammed shut. "SOMEONE GET HIM INSIDE!" his voice becoming more raspy as the adrenaline started wearing off, and his eyes felt more dreary. His teeth grinding as the pain around his arm returned, and the sooner the fight ends the better.

Oren didn't respond with words, how could he? His lips parted to attempt, but all he could feel were razorblades in his throat. He nodded, before slumping down beside Alice. "I-I don't know what to do Alice." He sound lost, his voice trailing off, "I'm not going to be able to live without her." Oren curled up, bringing his knee's to his chest.

Alex had finished with her daily duties, and with the ongoing fight at the Bridge, she had hurried back to home. While walking back home, she walked by Emma's home. Walking up, she chapped on the door.

Reaver Reaver simply smirked, and turned back to the matter at hand. No more games, no more tricks, no more surprise reinforcements. It was time to close the gap. It was time to storm this Citadel. "Come on, you tough bastards!" She yelled over the noise, raising her sword to the sky. "Lets go fuck them up!" She began to run, charging at the powerful walls with her host at her back and only foes before her. Some of the men on the wall reacted in fear, firing at her with whatever they could, but Reaver was ready, and parried the rounds that closed with her with swift sweeps of her sword. In moments, she was at the wall, and she wasted no time in firing the grapple up onto the walls. She began to ascend, sword singing in the rain as she kept any counter attacks at bay, nearly running up as she closed with her foes.

- JONATHAN KRAMER - He dragged Jason within the courtyard of the fortress, before shouting some staff down. "GET THIS GUY SOME MEDICAL TREATMENT! NOW!" "Sir!" Jonathan turned his head. "They're climbing the wall!" Jonathan was getting more panicked by the second. "Then fire at them!" "What about the wall--" "When are the turrets ready?"
- CLAUDIA KRAMER - Andras had been hammering at the small dent for some time, but there wasn't anything budging it. Claudia sighed to herself. "As if the comms to the VTOL aren't up, of all things!" Andras stopped his work, placing his blade onto the ground and examined the work. "You got any more explosives?" Claudia looked at Andras directly. "I wish, maybe the fireworks Ben uses might melt the thing." "Possibly, turns everyone into a water tap when those turn on." The two chuckled before a loud bang was heard. From behind Claudia fell a giant piece of ice, red ice. She turned to the top of the wall and saw the pieces start chipping away. The turrets were back, and were going to pave the way back to what remained. "EVERYONE! BACK AND IN POSITION!"

-Joltz- the Joltz in the courtyard started to swing wildly ripping up the cards that floated around her, as they became wet and turned into small mushy balls of paper the girl she went out to attack was out of site and so was the Broker or who she assumed it was, she started prowl around looking for the girl she still had to be here and she couldn't have gotten far, meanwhile inside with the police the other Joltz was about to start firing boltz as they where trying to shoot her she suddenly stopped, giving out an angry shout she let off a pulse that shocked the police and sent them to the floor knocking them out, once the last one hit the floor she zipped through the power line turning on the lights as she went past, the Joltz in the court yard was still searching for the girl she wanted kill seeing an odd pattern in the rain like something was invisible standing init she walked over, once she got closer she could feel the hot breath of something breathing heavily as she was about to strike she suddenly stopped and turned to the roof, looking back at where she was looking before she quickly turned and zipped through a light and it turned on as she went through

~Snowflake~ Snowflake stood back for a moment, glancing at her masterpiece with satisfaction. She was tired, her bones still ached, but when she looked over at the Citadel she did not care. The bastard in that stone fortress had caused so much harm to her, her brother and at this final countdown it might have hurt or even killed Crimson- though Snowflake still refused to believe that bit. Without any sign of exhaustion she skated after Reaver with new vigor, hellbent on getting Felix, herself and the Ravagers out of this situation.
- Jade Blythe - Jade nearly collapsed when the woman zapped away, standing invisible some feet away from where the villain had stopped and stared her down. This reminded her too much of her first-time robberies, where some security guard would think they saw something and walk closer, flashing a torch at her from merely a feet away before getting distracted. With clenched fists, she stared in the direction the lunatic had gone before she surprisingly let out a sudden, short giggle- damn, it had been close. Even more adrenaline pumped through her system as she turned, looking for the Broker, when she saw Shade and Jason stumble through the gate.

- THE VIPER -
Rick looked up, eyebrows raised as he witnessed the woman dash ahead and begin to scamper up the walls, bullets lay broken by her side as others began to make the treacherous journey. The Vipers, all distracted with him, then turned to look at Rick in what he could only gather was due to the hope that he had some direction as their only leader, and he did. Rick instantly began to walk forward, the others following soon as he turned his attention away from those that were beginning to climb up the walls and cause the raucous gunfire to begin anew, but to the last gates that stood in their path.
“Get that gate open!” He commanded and at once, the Vipers rushed forward beginning to heave and push against the gates; nothing. There was little to no impact from their efforts but Rick could already sense the notion of progression, the idea that sooner or later those gates would fall and the tides that had smashed the bodies below would turn against those that were within their citadel. The rain carried on its path and so did Rick as he launched forward and began to aid the efforts to bring the gates, as large and imposing as they were, to a fall.
