- Nimbus -
When the explosion hit, Nimbus felt his ears blow out and he fell back on the roof in agony. Shrapnel fell down like hot metal rain, and Nimbus crawled to his feet and jumped off of the building. His ears were ringing, and his lights were now flashing a rapid red. His flight was uneven and shaky, and soon Nimbus fell to the snowy, dusty streets below as the smoke dispersed. "Co-Compoun'?"

- Raven - Lilly flinched as she heard the distant sound of an explosion, as she did she looked out a grimy window to see smoke trailing behind the buildings of the city. She sighed and looked back at the fireplace, with the sun rising and Lilly feeling warm enough to move, she quickly paced outside the apartment and down into the streets. Coughing as she kept her head down to avoid both the smoke and the suns glare, she began to walk towards the source of the smoke.

- The Broker - "All a facade" said Broker as he walked with Alex. "A well thought out facade that worked perfectly. Paige is dead, gone, non-existent, and that's all that matters." After a brief thought, his smile faded. "I'm glad you're here actually. I need a friend to talk to who isn't bogged down in the complete chaos that the city was in. All exhausting...." His thoughts went dark. "....and crushing." He took a look at the sky again, nice. Broker and friend walking down the street. "Jade should hopefully meet us there, I can explain how I did it but first there's something I need to do, and it's something you need to see." He looked back at Alex. "Any questions?"

- Raven - As Lilly turned a corner to a street, what she saw perplexed her beyond belief. It was Alex and for some reason they were walking next to...Broker. Or so she thought that was what his name was. When she was undercover, hiding from the world. She had been notified about Broker. Yet Lilly never met him nor even knew what exactly he did. She just knew some people wanted him dead. Scratch that, a lot of people would want him dead. Yet he always seemed to be a step ahead somehow. However Lilly smiled. "Alex!" Lilly cried, as she saw him and started walking down the street, rushing down the street as she did so.
- Hunter - Luke had been walking for what seemed like an age as he continued to search for any sign of Lilly. His heart skipped a beat, as he heard an explosion, watching smoke rise and stain the sky as he ducked into a building, coughing as some of the smoke seemed to forcefully crawl into his lungs. By now he was beginning to regret his decision, however if Lilly were still out there then he needed to find them. She was smart, she had out tricked the world by pretending to be dead. If she could do it before, she could do it now. Or so he hoped.

- Crimson - As the piercingly bright explosion reached violently through the air, Crimson dropped reflexively to the ground - or the roof - shielding his face by pulling his jacket over it as a shroud, his fingers; protected by his armoured gauntlets. Stray shrapnel was launched from the epicentre dousing the hero; Nimbus in pain and he leapt. Slowly, Crimson exited his stance and observed a slash in the back of his leather jacket. Growling with annoyance, he muttered, "So which bastard set off a bomb in the middle of a conflict?" That attack was dishonourable; excessive force; it was sloppy; unnecessary. Crimson looked around, a thick smoke filled the air after the immediate blast. It was quiet. Crimson wondered if there were any casualties; he expected some. Unable to locate Sla'Nesh through the smoke, he took a running start an propelled himself off of the roof - facing the conflict - plucking himself out of the air as he fell by firing a grappling hook at a higher roof. Crimson soared through the air. It felt great, even now, it reminded him of Red Wonder before he ceased to be. Landing on another flat roof outside the zone of smoke, he took a few steps to assess his injuries. A limp. He could walk it off. "Now..." Crimson muttered wistfully, "Shit." He knew he'd forgotten something; he'd just relocated to Heartania that night, with no place to stay...

- Sla'Nesh -
"Shit huh ?" Sna'Nesh chuckled, covered in rubble dust as she barely managed to avoid the explosion, Carrying Cooper. "This guy is probably not gonna make it, not trying to make you help me or anything, but would you mind to point me to the nearest hospital ? One, he has a cute butt. Two, he savd my life. Three, he's probably the closest thing i have to a friend right now."

- Blackbird - A small eager was growing in her body, she was staring inn the store window. It was aloth of nice collors, but her eyes was ficksed at a black leather jacket. It was tru that she was cold, but she never knew how people got cloths. She looked fastly back at the lady before she ran in to the store, grabing firstly the jacket and so whatever ells she needed. When she came out again she almost looked like a model, had it not been for her fussy hair. "Thanks" she said, not knowin what she just had done was stealing. But a big smile was playing on the lips as she looked at the lady, more or les whaiting for what to do next like some kind a loyal dog.
- Fear - Afhter walking almost the whole night she was able to see the tower in front of her self. There she stopped, only looking at it, now she only needed to get contact to someone there and convince them she was of use to the hero world whit her somewhat evil powers. She whanted to be able to help and make up for a past that was darkly hanging in the back of her mind.
- Charm - She had left the scene at almot the same moment the interesting people had been taken away. She had tried to follow the person carying two of the more interessting ladys, but she had lost the turning a corner. Now she was standing leaning to the wall of that exact corner, looking around and thinking. What should she do whit her now new freedom, and the mess had calmed down, so ir was not a show to enjoy at the moment.

- La Mirage - Blood trickled down the armed mans forehead as Jade read the text from the Broker. She furrowed her brow and glanced at the shocked lady behind the counter. Concerning.. "Can you handle yourself ma'am?" The lady nodded with a terrified look on her face, more afraid of Jade than the man who'd bursted into the shop with a gun only a few seconds earlier. Totally unfazed, Jade turned around in the doorway and walked towards Invinca Pun who was still standing outside the window. "I'm sorry, but something's come up. Nice to meet you." She vanished into thin air and started walking towards the foreshore. - Snowflake - Snowflake was flung backwards as the shockwave blasted through the street, nearly sending her over the edge of the roof. Her head was spinning and her vision was blurry, but she caught glimpse of Crimson and Nimbus fleeing the roof through the fog. She coughed a few times and sat down to regain her senses. ..What the heck was that all about? Why bring a bomb here? After a few deep breaths, she rose up and walked over to the edge where Crimson had leapt off. "..Where did you go?" She looked around at the other rooftops, unable to identify which way Crimson had gone. She let out a frustrated sigh and turned around. Gah! I'll let him be for now. If I hadn't lost my sight of Rea- A sharp pain embedded and spread through Snowflakes throat, causing her to stagger slightly as she raised her hand to pull out the small fragment from her neck. Her vision went blurry and she could barely see what it was; a small needle filled with a dose of tranquilizer. Damn. Snowflake fell down on the roof, unable to move. A dark figure approached her from the shadows before she faded away.

- The Broker - The Broker turned towards the source of the noise, a female calling Alex. The Broker laughed. "I see you've made some friends while I've been gone." The female caught up to them and The Broker took a look at the two. "You know, you two look adorable together" he remarked, before stepping towards the female. He grabbed her head and inspected her closely. He saw her before, somewhere, then it clicked. He smiled a little. "Lilly Jones" he said. "You are and I are similar in a way." He let go his gentle grip and said to Alex "When was the last time you saw two dead people walking the earth Alex?" He giggled a little. "You've have an interesting 24 hours Alex, but still, good to see you've found a friend." He continued walking down the street with the two, towards the foreshore. "Any of you got any questions?"

- Compound - The explosion rocked Edison's car, sending him hard forward so that he hit his head on the steering wheel. The headache he'd sustained earlier came back to him, but as far as he could tell he was otherwise unharmed. These government vehicles sure were sturdy. Hearing Nimbus call his name somewhere nearby, Edison's dizzy eyes gained focus on his companion stumbling in the snow not far in front of him. He quickly climbed out of the car and trudged through the slush over to him. "I'm fine, don't worry about me. We should get onto the roof and help Starlass finish this."
- Sonar - Johnny rolled his eyes slightly. The old man was beating around the bush a little, and it really wasn't necessary. "Yeah, I got your letter after all. You said you'd go into detail in person, so... go ahead, I guess."

- Alex Richardson - "None that are worth asking!" Alex chuckled as he turned to Lilly. "I'm glad that you're safe. Sorry for.. Y'know.. Getting lost and all." He took a deep breath Before asking rhetorically "So, are we ditching that safe place?" He rubbed his arm slightly where he was cut. The pain was still there, and there was a lot of it. But Alex brushed off the pain with thankfullness that the other two where still alive. "I just hope I can get this to the Tower by the end of the day."

- Raven - Lilly watched The Broker curiously, somewhat confused at how he knew her existence and something told her, that this wouldn't be the last time they would meet. However for now Lilly was focused on Adam, somewhat worried at the cuts and bruises he seemed to have sustained. "It's alright. It's not your fault. I'm just glad you're okay. Though I don't think my parents house is safe any more. Knowing my brother, he's probably already gone out looking for me. I can take you to his house, that might be safer...If it's not in ruins," Lilly sighed as she tried to think of a plan. She was running out of options, but she quickly made haste and began walking quickly. "Stay close to me."
- Hunter - Luke continued walking through the streets, stumbling upon rocks and ruins as an idea struck his mind. The one place that if she was caught, Lilly would head to. His home. Of course it had been obvious. Lilly just found it safer to hide there, of course. Luke already felt his sanity wavering as he tried to convince himself that Lilly was still out there and still breathing. With the last bit of hope he had left, he pushed on towards his old ratty apartment. His only regret was that it was too late to go back for Kay.

- Knight - "Um..." Blake mumbled, his eyes wide and an almost-grin plastered on his face, "Sure. See ya." he called to the ceiling as The Warden disappeared. Looking around, they were more or less all incapacitated or submitting; fearing a fierce beating. "Jeez..." Blake breathed heavily, "These mook with their guns..." Blake calmly then pulled his left forearm to his mouth - his staff; still firmly gripped in his right - activating comms and contacting the others. "Starlass, Nimbus, .... F-Fixer. What's the situ -" Boom. Blake's eyes widened once more as the blast rang through the air, reaching him, even atop the prison's hill. Taking a deep breath, the horror was suddenly realised, "St-Sta... Ni..." Blake took a deep breath through his nostrils, deactivating comms and tapping another button; engaging Knight-2. The red accents faded to green, the boots and shoulders; building up. Running, through the front gates, Blake leapt from the cliff, activating his jets and firing through the sky determinedly. Breathing heavily, Blake needed to secure his colleagues.

- La Mirage - Jade arrived at the foreshore and looked around. The crashing waves had a somewhat calming effect on her, which she needed after the last days events. Something tells me I should enjoy it while it lasts.

- The Broker -
The Broker continued walking with Alex and Lily, before coming to the foreshore. He took a look and saw Jade. He smiled and walked up to Jade with the other two. He touched her shoulder and simply said. "I'm glad you came. Really needed it." Despite what he saw, he knew the horrors of the possible reality. He turned to all three of them. "The last nine hours have tested us all, and as you can see from the results behind you, the city isn't ready." He took a deep breath. "I'm taking back this city, and I'm going to need some help. I have a plan but it's going to be daunting, so I would appreciate it if you helped me out." He looked to Lily. "You too if you wish." He took off his police armour, damaged and bloodied from the fighting, and took a look at his chest under the shirt. Looks like Evander's aura worked like a charm. He blinked. "There's going to be an announcement from a high council representative soon, and I think it would be right if we attended." He took a look at the foreshore and saw the red sun reflect on the sea. But on the foreshore were people in black, people in police uniforms, specifically the people he head to war. The city was retaken but it didn't mean everyone got out alive. Behind them was about fifty bodies of the men and women who died for the city, and had no one to return to, the ones who would've been forgotten if it wasn't for The Broker. Other people would have families at their funerals, and to these people The Little Mice were family. The Broker said to the three young people "please stay quiet and be respectful for a small moment." He walked a little down the path and started to decent onto the stoney shores. The people gathered parted to allow Broker to get to the homemade pyre and alter, and kept their heads bowed in respect. He made it to the alter before turning to those who came. "Brothers and sisters. I asked that you'd come with me to retake the city, and in doing so we succeeded. But even so we must remember that this came at the cost of many in our family. Most will rest with their families, but we are here to remember the forgotten ones, for their brave act against those who wish death upon us shouldn't be forgotten, no matter the circumstances." He turned to the Pyre and rested his right hand on the pyre. "Brothers and sisters of the Little Mice. You may no longer be with us, but you will never fade away." The Little Mice replied solemnly "You will never fade away", in a deep, respectful, unified voice. The Broker is then handed a lit torch, and he took one last look at the people he lead to war. He lowered the torch, and the pyre was set ablaze. The bodies burned and the flames rose higher and higher, almost poetic. The Little Mice started a harmony, a harmony known for it's presence in mass funerals when the war was over. The sound was beautiful, and THe Broker took comfort in that face. When the song was over The Broker started to walk towards his three guests as the flames lowered and left nothing but ash. "We've got some work to do, but first we head to the speech." A large, black car arrived, and it's doors opened. A little mice gave Broker a box, and he quickly inspects it. He nods, and places the box into the boot of the car. He enters the car, and prepares for his three guests to enter.
