- La Mirage -
It looks like I'll have to get used to being 'Auntie Mirage' Jade sighed and turned to Mira with a big smile. "So, what do you want to do today Mira?" - Snowflake -
“Good,” she coughed and sat up in the bed, “considering the circumstances.” Snowflake coughed again as she examined her jumpsuit when it dawned upon her just how much she’d been through the last couple of days; a gash in the right trouser leg and her back after fighting that winged freak with a whip, bloodstains covering her sleeves and the left side of her body after she got hit with a wrench and tried to cover her face in a puddle of blood, and another tear on the upper part of her sleeve where a bullet had grazed her. Her light blue coat lay on a nearby crate, marked by a dark spot on its shoulder, reminding Snowflake just how close she had been to die from a single bullet. She twisted her head in an attempt to look at the entry wound, but, to her surprise, found a couple of stitches where it should have been. He even stitched me up? She looked up at Crimson and immediately felt a mixture of embarrassment and guilt; she was a big girl and should have been able to handle the situation by herself from the start, but instead went on to pull Crimson with her on a crazy trip which nearly ended with her getting killed. In the end they had gotten Felix, she still remembered Reavers foggy voice ringing through her mind, but at what cost? “You didn’t have to stitch me up, you know. My healing powers are back *cough*” What if he hadn’t been there? She coughed again, shoving the last question out of her mind, and slowly rose from the bed to stretch her arms and legs. As far as her body was concerned, everything seemed back to normal except the slowly dissipating taste of blood in her mouth. Hopefully her ice manipulation power was back too. “Thanks,” she smiled sincerely, “I owe you.”

- Shadow Fixer -
The haze of white blinded him as his eyes slowly awoke. Contrast filled the image, then it focused, and then everything was clearer. Cooper woke up from the absolute pain that was yesterday, he nearly had her, he nearly had Reaver, she was his only target, and she still got away like a cackling child. The painkillers were working, he was running on emergency power, and could only lightly move his limbs. Except he couldn't. A quick look at a mirror told him everything. His right arm and his legs were bound to a table, with a seatbelt like material holding him in place. He would've broken out, but he was still on emergency power and couldn't do a thing. He sighed to himself as he took in the more dire situation. "Good morning Doctor Cooper. How may we help you?" said the blasted AI assigned to monitor him. Cooper closed his eyes and said "Can ask the Elliott doctors to come and visit?"

- Crimson -
“You didn’t have to stitch me up, you know. My healing powers are back. But thanks, I owe you." "Your healing," Crimson replied, "It started slow. Stitches just.. helped it. And..." he felt a bit embarrassed himself now; he'd never heard her thank him before, "Well, I wasn't just gonna let the legendary ice queen die from one bullet from some kid. Was I?"

- The Speaker -
The sleek limousine pulled into the courtyard, and slowed to a gentle halt. The chauffeur jumped out of the car and held Ragno's door open as the powerful and respected businessman came out into the air. He raised his hand to the Broker. This would be interesting... "High Chancellor! It is a delightful surprise to see you here, meeting me in person!" He exulted jovially. "Is Miss Jones not here to greet me? Such a shame. Talented girl, that one, talented girl." He closed the gap, holding out his hand to shake. - Reaver -
Reaver wasn't paying any attention to Card's appearance. The shouting, laughing and winning was distracting her, and the stunning young woman who had taken an interest was of equal quality as the stack of chips before her. Reaver inwardly smirked as she blew a kiss at the woman, to the pleasure of her entourage, before turning back to the task at hand- fleecing her opponents for all they had.

- Lazarus -
Lazarus was checking off the supplies in each room, making sure they were well stocked in case of emergencies, when he received the request to see Cooper over communications. He paused, and looked over the room one last time, before closing the checklist on his tablet and heading over to Cooper's room. Silently and not quite sure what to say. He opened the door to Cooper's room and shut it behind himself before standing at the end of Adrian's bed, "You called?"

- Snowflake -
"Lucky shot!" she exclaimed with a smile on her lips, amused at Crimson's embarrassment. "'Legendary ice queen', you make it sound like it's a good thing," she joked and sat back down on the bed, the cheap mattress giving off a squeak as she did so. "How did the battle end? We got Felix, right?" "Oh Lorraine, you really are blind to your brother's wishes."Snowflake flinched as she heard the male voice talk inside her head, blinked quickly, then decided she'd just imagined it.

"Of course. He didn't come easy but he's completely unharmed to my knowledge. He's with Reaver, I know he should be here but I could carry you both."

- The Broker -
The Broker shook Ragno's hand with a smile. "Mr Ragno, a pleasure to finally meet." He let go of the hand and turned his wheelchair around. "Let's talk at my office, my staff are still settling in and it would be nice to talk in a more formal area." He started to wheel inside. "Unfortunately everyone's hands are tied, and trying to get a full understanding of the situation down to the smallest of subtleties has required Miss Jones to brief The Tower. May I offer a drink? Wine? Whiskey? Water?" - Shadow Fixer -
Cooper closed his eyes in slight regret. "I heard that Sarah had to be treated for my stupid escape stunt." He exhaled. "How is she holding up?

- The Sheriff -
Cigarette smoke drifted coolly into the air, as James surveyed the city that was before him. The streets were littered and the people were dirty; the riots took a lot out of this once, great city. As he continued to smoke on the cigarette between his lips, as he continued walking around the city, trying to find some sense of direction, the sound of engines roaring distracted him, as he took out the cigarette blowing out the smoke in his mouth slowly. James turned to look, to see the source of such sound in this dim grisly city. - Hunter -
Luke continued to drive the on the motorbike, the cool air whipping back against him. The motorbike was fast; faster than Luke thought. He managed to swerve around street corners. As he drove down the street, feeling himself getting closer to his old home, he passed an odd looking man in a cowboy hat; staring at him. Shrugging it off, Luke decided to continue driving. - Raven -
Lilly continued to wait outside The Tower. - Acchilleus -
Watching the news, Acchilleus watched meticulously. He smiled a crooked smile, at the headline High Chancellor Attacked During Aid Effort. Ravagers To Blame. He finished his breakfast. The High Chancellor isn't so high anymore. The Ravagers, I don't have much information in them. He sighed in frustration, looking to his assistant. "Come on, let's go back to Wild Card and his casino. I'm sure he has more information," noted Acchilleus before he began getting dressed in his suit, ready for the day.

Wild card continued to watch as the woman in red gained more and more 'one more big win and ill step in and intervene' he thought to him self as he crossed his arms watching.

- Hunter -
Luke stopped the car in front of his house, he could see his balcony and window was still open and he killed the engine. Taking out the key; he pocketed it before stepping off the motorbike, he walked inside, climbing up the stairs and he thought the door would fall apart judging by how weak it was. As he looked around, it was like a trip down memory lane. He could see the couch he slept on, the bed Kay was on, the broken window and fallen table from his fight with Lilly. The familiar opening of the window. He smiled slightly as he felt the urge to jump onto a roof and start running around the town. Yet he resisted the urge and walked over to his bedroom and inspected what he was tinkering with. Some odd project or another, but his foot kicked a box of materials. He wondered how he was going to get that onto the motorbike. - The Sheriff -
James continued to smoke his cigarette and walk around the town; yet after turning a corner he dropped it and stomped it out. He felt immense relief as his headache seemed to have passed away. But what he saw next couldn't excite him more. A Tesla E Max, god damn. As he approached the motorbike; he realized it was familiar, noting he saw it drift past him down the street only minutes ago. Looking around, he quickly move over to the motorbike but cursed to himself as the key wasn't in the ignition. - Acchilleus -
Acchilleus found himself stepping into the car, his driver was already waiting and his assistant was next to him; resting his tablet on a couple of folders. His assistant seemed to be tapping earnestly at it, whilst Acchilleus could only watch on. "Wild Card's casino, you know where it is," Acchilleus ordered and the driver nodded to him before the engine began and they were off.

- Snowflake -
First a relieved sigh, then her cheeks flushed red. "Y-you carried me?" She coughed and raised her hand to cover her mouth as well as the unexpected red colour. "Of course you did, how else would I be here." She cleared her throat. "So, we figured out what happened, retraced my steps and got my brother back; I'll call that a mission complete, wouldn't you?" The colour of her face returned to normal and she smiled again. "Name your prize."

"Prize? You asked for help, I gave it. It's not a job." Crimson replied, shocked by Snowflake feeling so indebted, "Now. Reaver was asking for you. I assume it's about getting Felix home."

"A fine whisky would be perfect, thank you." Ragno cheerfully agreed. "Yes, it looks like things are very busy around here! All this talk of attacks... Tell me, are you alright? You seem to have suffered a serious injury on your legs!" Ragno's words oozed honest concern. If there was a lie there, it would be impossible to tell.

- Starlass -
Grace sat up, stretching her arms behind her head. She hadn't got a whole lot of sleep, but it would do for now. Her hair was a tangled mess that fell every which way, so she flicked it behind her to deal with it temporarily, Pulling on a dark green sweater, she stood up, creaking her neck a little. Her domino mask sat on her bed-side table; she considering retrieving it, but then opted against it. This floor of the Tower was restricted to top-level residents, and the only other person with access knew who she was under it anyway. She left her room, closing the door gently behind, and made her across the hall. The other occupied room was locked, so she rapped on the door with the back of her hand, yawning. She needed counsel from her own hero. Her judgement had found her in trouble multiple times the day before, and she need to talk to somebody about it. "Argent... are you in?" - Sonar -
Johnny woke up slowly, the pain that was the last he remembered replaced by a strange numbness up his left side. He looked down to see bandages wrapped tightly around his shoulder, keeping his wound sealed away. He flexed his fingers, finding that they would move slightly, but not completely. His shoulder itself wouldn't cooperate at all. A chair sat opposite him, his uniform draped over the back. Splatters of red had soaked into the sky blue fabric, reminding Johnny of a rather morbid sunset. He noticed the bed next to him, holding a sleeping man he recognised as one of the hostages from the stadium. He groaned, trying to sit up. Bloody hell. Never getting shot again, that's for sure.
- Compound -
Edison was sitting on his ward bed, scribbling on a notepad that had been left in his room. The pain that had filled his body had subsided to a dull ache, allowing him to move around, albeit not a lot. He took the opportunity to do some research and development: the Compound had clear issues, and he would have to solve them. He just couldn't wrap his around how right now. He stood up, putting the notepad back where he found it. Leaving his room, he heard voices nearby. Edison walked down the hall to investigate, sure he could recognise the sounds. They were coming from a room two doors down from his. Through the frosted glass window, he could make out a silhouette that must have been Dominic's. He waited quietly outside the room, hoping to get an opportunity to speak with those inside. - The Chieftain -
Very little time had passed for Ares in his dreamscape. He had spent the last ten minutes or so wandering the desert, inspecting the weapons embedded in the ground every now and then. Most of the swords were just blades he did now know, but some were strangely familiar to him: he could have sworn he spotted Bellona's a while ago, and he had just passed one that looked exactly like his father's. The gears turning in the sky were distracting, but he had grown somewhat accustomed to them. The only other things moving in the barren wasteland, the broke up the monotony a little. In a way, the terrain reminded him of home, which made Ares frown when he had thought of it. Too bad I can't go back right now. He kept walking, wondering why had was here in the first place. Perhaps it was some cryptic message about his future? Or maybe somebody would approach him in this realm? Or, it could have been just another weird dream...
