- Argent Mind -
Argent Mind frowned. "Are you sure?" He asked, concerned. "What is it about him you don't trust? I was rather unconcious when he took power and I haven't really interacted with him..." He paused. "Do we know his name?" - The Speaker -
Ragno let the information on the Ravagers wash over him. It was simple background information, something the Broker would know. The photos were interetsing but he let them lie for a moment as he answered the question. "High Chancellor, my business interests are global. Heartania is rather low on the list of where my investments lie, which is why I was here in the first place." He shrugged. "Poor timing on my part, but it has left me in a unique position of being one of the few wealthy men here who has lost nothing and isn't fleeing to pastures new. I dare say I am unique in the city in the ammount of support I can give you." He raised his glass. "But of course you already knew that, or else you wouldn't have had your two lovely assistants wield all manner of methods to get me on side." He frowned at that. "Some more personable than others."

- The Broker -
The Broker nodded. "Yes, we investigated that little incident and we found it was due to fatigue. She is still young, and the lack of sleep didn't help. When we don't sleep, barriers of sanity break down, which is good for the creatives but not so good for extremely important matters such as this city. I've given her a supporting role and handed administration duties to Miss Jones." The Broker struggled to sit up, and lifted himself up just so the sliding in his chair would stop. "She and one other are actually helping me personally. The riots took a toll on me both physically and mentally. I trust her with those matters, and she does recognise that she went a little too far." He looked out of the window and across the shoreline. "The Pursuer is going to be leaving later today, he had to be brought back after suffering an injury, and Capital City being the latest victim to the main force of the Ravagers. He's being treated for head injuries and some bullet wounds, but he won't be performing tasks here for the High Council anymore." He turned back and gave Ragno a file. "There is also an opportunity for you." The folder regarded the closure of a convenience store by it's parent company. "It seems Jacksons has decided to leave the city and has placed jobs and supplies at risk. If you plan to build a business empire here maybe this would be a good place to start. The place is profitable, and your public image will receive a wonderful boost. After all, you'd be saving hundreds of jobs in the process."

Ragno looked over the file and smiled. "A fine proposition. I've already purchased three businesses like it in the city. People with money are leaving in vast numbers." He shook his head and sadly smiled. "I'm glad my request on the Pursuer has been carried out. He was a dangerous man who hurt people who you a care. Worse, public opinion is vastly against him after recent occurrences. Having him working for you would burn both our reputations." Taking a seat, he took another sip before carrying on. "I have to ask. Miss Jones informed me of a number of... Conflicting stories on how you managed that wreaking ball's ejection from Heartania. What account shall you give me, I wonder?"

- Hunter -
Luke threw the box of materials and tools down as he rushed over towards the gate, wondering what the shout meant as commotion started to brew and a crowd of assistants were already forming and debating with one another at the gates. Luke moved to the front, quickly. "Alright, alright. Everyone just calm down. Open the gates please," ordered Luke; somewhat surprising himself slightly. He looked around, with his outer arms extended, trying to separate people as the gate began to open. - Acchilleus -
The car halted, and Acchilleus stepped out with his assistant quickly catching up close behind him. The pair stepped in a darkened alley as they encounter a few thugs, all of them wearing one article of clothing that was green. The man who was bald, stepped forward. "Are you A-kill-us?" The gang member asked, Acchilleus had to resist sighing in frustration for their mispronounciation. "Yes, I'm Acchilleus," Acchilleus corrected. "And you're the gang members, I'm interested in. Correct?" They all nodded, though the bald man who was clearly gang leader was somewhat confused. "Yeah, we're cool and all. I'm just confused. Why do you want us to work for you? What's in it for us? What's in it for you? This is the whole gang right here, around six of us. We haven't heard from the other four in a while," The gang leader asked, still confused as he looked around at his fellow gang members. Acchilleus smirked. "You'll help me take the whole city. With a force like you, we hopefully can't be stopped. Now if you've got an appropriate ride, we'll be heading to the docks," Acchilleus explained and the gang leader nodded, signalling for his members to get in a van; with most of them getting in the back. Acchilleus stepped into his car. "To the docks. There's a nice warehouse, we can set ourselves up in." The driver nodded and the car started.

- The Broker -
The Broker perked up. "Completely understandable that clarification is desired. I do understand some of the conflicting information she may have given, she hasn't slept and her brother was part of my convoy. He's fine, he's doing some personal things to assist in his mental recovery." He coughed. "I asked Knight to do some work and I left The Pursuer with him. Nothing brutish, just a deal to bring the East City rooks on good terms. My focus is on aid, and I wanted to ensure the safety of my employees before entering the district. In a way, I lured him away from The Citadel to do some small things. He and Knight were called to Capital city in that chaos, and you know the rest of that story in regards to our bulky 'friend'. I sent a small team from The Tower to talk to the High Council in regards to their distrust on our heroes, wanted to get the friction removed, better for all of us. And at the same time a few people, myself included, tried to do some personal assistance for the city, also good for us, but it seems that the mercenaries can recover from exhaustion in a matter of several hours, something we did not foresee. Now that we know that, it'll help the Tower and the operations teams that's being put together." There was a small crowd gathering around the front gates, something that The Broker barely heard. He pulled out a tablet and started to type a quick message. "Jade, possible emergency out front, please help Luke. -J" Sent. "Apologies for that brief interruption."

- The Sheriff -
Both James and Custos stumbled in, parting the crowd as Luke looked at the two of them shocked. He instantly glared at James, who cursed to himself in return, but Luke seemed to recognize Custos. He quickly helped James hold Custos and looked at the crowd. - Hunter -
"Everyone, I have this situation under control. Please close the gates and return to your duties," Luke ordered and the crowd started to detract slightly though they still watched James, Custos and Luke; somewhat confused. "You better have a good explanation for this." Luke growled under his breath at James, as he began to lead the two of them inside.

Dominic put his tablet away, "She's resting right now, so give her a little while. I want to say Sarah would appreciate it, but given how I feel, she'll be pissed." He turned to head out, "I've got other patients to see. I'll check back on you later." And with that, he left the room and shut the door behind him before turning to Edison, "Now then Eddie, how can I help you?"

Ragno smiled warmly and nodded. "That's very interesting. Truly, it is." He said, with only the barest hint of discontent in his voice. "Because Miss Jones told me you were in the Capital yourself. Now, I know very little about the inner workings of the Citadel, but an error like that would not be from a state of tiredness?" He shrugged. "If her brother was with you, surely she would know where he was? Now, I'm sure this is just a result of... Administration error. But hypothetically, if you're lying to me it won't do well for our trust. And neither of us want something like that to occur."

- La Mirage -
Jade let out a sigh and watched as an employee put a large serving of chocolate ice cream on the table in front of Mira. Maybe I’ll show her a card trick? A sudden buzzing in her pocket interrupted the peace and quiet. She pulled out her phone, read the text and rose from the chair. “Mira, enjoy your ice cream. I’ll be right back, okay?” She kissed her forehead and walked out of the dining hall and onwards to the entrance of the Citadel. Imagine the shock when she opened the doors to find Luke giving support to a stumbling man with a gunshot wound. Immediately she used her telekinesis to pull the weight off Luke and the other man’s shoulders, making it visibly appear like they were still carrying him, except now he was as light as a feather. “He looks heavy,” she said and winked at Luke, hoping he’d take the hint, “upstairs, to the bedrooms?”

"I think it'd be better if we take them to a medical room or something," Luke noted as James simply grunted as approval. The pair of them kept supporting Custos who appeared to be out cold, as they moved on inside. - Acchilleus -
Acchilleus had stepped out last and entered the abandoned warehouse in the docks. The other gang members had already begun talking to themselves, and the warehouse was empty with little to no furniture. But it would provide a good meeting spot, and Acchilleus already had a plan to get furniture. He began trying to gather the groups attention, and they all stopped murmuring to focus onto him.

“Right,” she gritted her teeth and walked before them, “this way.” Luckily Jade had stumbled upon a room the last night as she kept getting lost which seemed confusingly similar to a doctor’s medical office. Somehow she successfully found the way back and opened the door to the clinically white room, giving Luke and the two others space to go inside and place the wounded man on a bed placed alongside the wall.

- The Broker -
"Lilly wasn't in the meeting when the heroes and I got to understand the plans. We left at around the same time too in a hurry, I should've told her more about what we were doing and it may have gotten muddled up somewhere. Either way, it was due to a cocktail of misunderstandings, tiredness, and worry, a toxic cocktail. We've all had some sleeping issues for the past few days, and we're finally getting some decent rest for the first time in days. Healing the body will depend from person to person, but it is safe to say that all our minds will be much clearer once we've all physically recovered a substantial amount." He gestured his legs. "Some maybe more than others, but it'll happen." He wheeled himself to some nearby water and poured a glass. "Today I'm going to set out a clear plan and distribute it to my staff, so that the miscommunication issue I mentioned won't happen again. We're going to do what I said I'd do when I came into power yesterday, we're going to repair the infrastructure that keeps the city afloat, with or without legs." He went back to his desk and drank his water. His voice cleared up. "As a token of good faith, would you like me to send some of that whisky to your setting of choice?"

Erin was stunned by the room. It was massive. And it being underground like this was absolutely amazing. He stepped out of the elevator, the music making everything more atmospheric. He followed her over to the workbench. "So, let me guess the purpose for this place, It's used to store more of your special things also as a safe house in case anything were to happen to the citadel i.e it was under siege, this place would be the perfect bunker. One way in, and one way out. Except you guys most likely have another way out in case of emergencies. Am I right?"

"I have my own whisky, High Chancellor." Ragno let the words pass. If the Broker was lying, and the discrepancies between his and Lilly's stories suggested as much, then he would not admit it. This was to be a game, then, where his opponent would hide behind fallacies. Delightful. "And it pleases me that you're dealing with this issues among your staff. For errors of this regard to occur is most concerning. Miss Jones seemed so capable, but if she were to tell me this information when she herself would have been unsure of it's quality.. Well, it is a disturbing occurrence." A long sigh followed, indicating concern. "Two women, your close allies, and both act in rather difficult manners towards me. Is this truly the nature of the Citadel?" Voice and face was dripping in honest concern. - Reaver -
Reaver looked up at Card and chuckled. "You really planning on spoiling my fun?" She asked, and as she spoke she pushed down her sunglasses to reveal her striking green eyes. "Really? With all my fans watching? Why, it's my day off!"
