Nicky was feeling worn out after only five minutes of going into a shop with her mum. She had been shoved into a changing room with some shirty looks from a bored looking attendant for the dampness of her hair and clothing that leaked a few traces of beach sand.
"Stupid Nicky. Stupid." She grumbled to herself as she struggled her way into a blouse that only buttoned half way. It cut into her skin where she flailed trying to roll it down but leaving sore patches that itched. Not really a top she would buy but if she didn't show her mum there would be comments.
"You done yet in there?" Her Mum called impatiently if mainly kindly.
"Yes Mum." Nicky sighed aggravation bleeding into her voice.
She looked at the top feeling where her hair had wet it and getting annoyed so that she flicked her hand away from it all in revulsion. The small splash that ran down the opposing changing room wall made her jump. Nicky looked in the mirror touching the blouse and her hair. Both were perfectly dry, yet there was a puddle on the floor. What the hell was going on she wondered to herself open mouthed.

"12:10 pm, Richmont Street, Bitter Pot Caffee. A young girl, maybe 17 or 18? Blonde hair, casual clothes, green eyes. Displaying a bow that grows plants, the probability of her being an elemental? 75%" A voice whispered into a small microphone placed inside his helmet, handing out flyers robotically.
"Assess whether or not she is, and if the people she is with are elementals too. 75% is quite high, act soon, we'll have a cover story if needed." A robotic voice on the other side called. The street Bitter Pot inhabited was a less than busy street, but since the time was noon the passerby's had steadily increased,
"Affirmative Sir, K 001# Out."
The Knight, clad in heavy armour slowly moved into a nearby alley.

- Swan - ’Another gust of air, just as like the one before- oh for-‘Another leaf sprouted from the bow, despite Swan putting all the strength she could muster into controlling its growth. In fact, it seemed like the bow was going even more ballistic when the boy approached their table, its growth spurt reaching new speeds as it laid next to the feather. The bow’s smooth surface started to shift as carvings embedded into the wood, beautiful but subtle lines started to decorate the plain bow. Swan noticed something not so subtle at the growing bow, a series of letters perfectly aligned down the side of the bow S.S. D.L N.S For one second her eyes squinted and she forgot; she had to control the bow. The weapon crackled ever so slightly, quickly growing to twice the length of the feather, with another leaf, a red one, sprouted near the first leaf, close to where the bow string was attached. Swan looked at Dante in bewilderment before standing up, and starting to struggle with taking off her own hoodie. Why didn’t he tell her to use her hoodie? Had the black-haired lad noticed the bow? He’d have to be blind if he hadn’t by now. And what did the letters mean?

- SETH MCCLAIN -
Seth waited on the bus, which stopped a few times. It also passed a place called 'The Bitter Pot'. He would have to go there some time. It looked packed. The bus, which was now also packed after a few stops, stopped once more. This was Seth's stop. He stood up, stepping over the knees of the person who had sat next to him. He stepped off of the bus, and onto the sidewalk, where he walked for about 3 minutes before coming to a grocery store. It was the bottom floor of what seemed like an office building. He had been here a few times now, when his dad had done the same thing he had this morning. He grabbed a basket as he walked in, and searched around for the stuff he needed.

DANTE ANDERSON Still standing, his eyes turned to Swan, who had began taking off her jacket (presumably to conceal the bow). Where she was alert and responsive, Dante judged the black-haired boy was ignorant to what was going on, which is exactly what he wanted to learn. Ignoring the other guy, he sat back down, right as the bow began to... make noises? He leant ever so slightly forward to observe, which is when he saw the series of letters. When he managed to ascertain what one set meant, his eyes widened. He set there, looking clearly startled; his mind frantically trying to get a grasp on everything that was going on. He eventually came to, deciding it was time to put a theory to the test, "You might wanna take this somewhere anybody could find it. Your home, maybe?"

"Have you acted yet?"
"No Sir, there seems to be a problem."
"What's that?"
"Another one has joined them, If this person is also an element, I won't be able to face them alone."
"Hm, Okay, I'll have the backup prepared, so just get in there."
"Affirmative Sir."

- Swan - Swan hurriedly covered the bow with her hoodie, which still crackled and transformed, and looked from Dante to the guy standing at their table. With a nervous twitch, she tried to wrap up the bow and the scene she’d caused. “I’m sort of between places,” she blinked, and was remembered that she was talking to a total stranger. Even though there was something about him; why was she still here? “Not that it’s any of your or Mister Passive-Aggressive’s business. It was nice meeting you,“ she nodded stressfully to Dante and turned to face the green eyed hothead, “but I think I should sort this out. Would you mind?” She asked the new arrival, gesturing for him to move out of her way.

- SETH MCCLAIN -
Seth bought groceries, nothing special happened while he was there, really. Luckily his dad had left money on the counter for him to buy groceries with, so he didn't have to buy them with his own money. He walked outside, before realizing that the bus wouldn't be back for at least an hour. He didn't have the patience for that, so he just started walking. It would take awhile to walk, too, maybe.. 45 minutes. On the ground, anyways. He could easily be home in 30 minutes if he was up on top of the roofs. Of course, that would mean abandoning the groceries.. Which he didn't want to do. He decided to do the boring, 45 minute walk.

-Drake Mark- getting to the bottom of the hill he continued to slide down the road on shield he was nearing the stadium, not even looking at his watch or the town clock he knew he would get there on time, as he dodged through the cars on the road still shooting ice out the stadium was in sight a huge smile grew on Drakes face as he got closer and closer, not turning away the view of the stadium was suddenly obscured by a wall moving very fast "huh?" Drake said as he turned to see what was a head of him, with a shocked expiration he suddenly found him self hurtling towards a dead end ally way that had a dumpster and several garbage bag around the front of it "Oh God!" he shouted before he leaned back on his shield lifting it up and crashed into the bags around the dumpster

DANTE ANDERSON Dante sighed; reclining in his seat a little as Swan began to race off. The diner clerk arrived with a mug of coffee, to which he suddenly refused, offering the appropriate amount of money as compensation. Her anxious face said it all: this was no simple shenanigan, contrived by her father. Still, it would do nobody any good to profess it aloud in a public place. He had to he smart. Shooting a glance at the stranger with the sharp temperament, Dante hoped to help Swan with her exit, which would likely lead to a spot where a very interesting conversation would occur.

- Swan - Upon seeing Dante refuse the awaited mug of coffee, Swan felt even more distressed and decided she couldn’t wait for the man to move any longer. She rudely pushed past the slightly older teenager without apologizing and rashly navigated through the full diner as she tried to remain calm and less conspicuous than she already was, having already drawn too much attention to herself. This was of course nearly impossible as the bow was growing faster than ever, and with Swan feeling the bow expand to nearly its full size under the makeshift cover she did her best not to panic. Halfway to the exit she only glanced back over her shoulder at Dante and the hothead, hearing T-Swizzle’s tune ‘Out of the Woods’ starting to play on the diner’s speaker system.

-Drake Mark- turning over from slamming into the dumpster Drake spat out one of his teeth "aw great.." he said as he licked the space where his tooth was, picking him self up and grabbing his bag, stick and shield he ran off back to the entrance of the alley way, turning the corner the stadium was in site and Drake ran off towards it with time to spare

"I can't believe I forgot the fete thing was on today. It's going to make this a nightmare if we're unlucky."
Nicky's mum handed her a hastily scribbled list her brow furrowing as they headed out of the clothes shop purchases under her arm.
"Here are the things I need you to get, mainly school supplies and you can pick the dessert for your grandparents visit tonight."
Her Mum smiled wanly as she took a look at her own much longer list. Nicky wanted to say she could do more but knowing her mother it would just be brushed off. A shame as she waned to keep busy.
"We're still on for that ice cream later though. I'll message you when i'm done, you do the same for me."
With that Nicky was released. She walked slowly through the streets the sound of music carrying to her from a few streets away. The larger number of people about made her a little self conscious, which in turn made her tense up, which made walking even harder. She imagined she must look like a wind up toy. As she turned a corner her legs lost all their coordination for a second as she fell straight into the path of a tall brown haired boy with glasses, shopping bag in his hand.
Her hands flailed as she tried to grab out to catch herself but she found herself instead with a grazed chin her eyes full of the vision of black and white sneakers.
"Screw today." She groaned mainly to herself as she couldn't even raise the effort to get up, her head now ringing with a second throbbing pain.

DANTE ANDERSON Among the chaos, Dante's ears perked upwards to the sounds of the diner radio. He always liked this song. As Swan swiftly exited the establishment, he sat back in mild exhaustion; looking out to the window. Now she was gone, his feather began to calm... That was all the indication he needed. He carefully observed the direction the young woman was going, and then once she was far enough away: rose to the ground and left in a much more discreet fashion. He needed answers, and everything pointed to Swan, despite the fact they had only just met. Dante was tired of waiting. Once outside, he enjoyed the cool air against his face, as opposed to the warm currents that found its way from the kitchen of the diner. Remembering the way she went, Dante began to walk forward, hoping she would come back to view, and he could ask for the truth.

- Swan - With every step Swan took away from the diner she felt herself calm down and the bow starting to cease its abnormal behaviour. It wasn’t until she stopped near a bench a little while away she regained some control over the artifact and managed to make it shrink somewhat under her hoodie. With a nervous but relieved sigh she went through the event which she barely had managed to escape from; what on earth had just happened? It was as if it had suddenly gained a will of its own, rejuvenating, stinging her, and, if one could use the word, interacted or at the very least reacted to the feather in Dante’s possession. Swan quickly dismissed the idea and told her irrational thoughts to keep quiet, but still she cast the occasional glance over her shoulder to see if anyone followed her. Placing her backpack at the bench she momentarily hesitated before pulling the bow partly out from cover and inspecting it closer. It astonished and frankly scared her, the transformation which had taken place and turned ‘The Bitter Pot’ into a circus act for curious eyes. Swan’s fingers brushed over the smooth dark wood and took in how its decorations had vanished, along with the letters which carved its surface earlier. The leaves were gone, in their place three small buds protruding from the wood as if the leaves had retreated into the bow again. Swan stared at the impossible thing for a moment and tried to recall what its previous owner had told her about it- but just then the bow crackled slightly, startling Swan into quickly covering it again. She quickly picked her backpack up from the bench and looked around nervously, only seeing a couple of people walking on the other side of the street, someone dressed as a medieval knight and a familiar face from the Bitter Pot strolling towards her. She tried turning around as if she hadn’t seen him and started to walk away very quickly, having her head filled with too many thoughts at once as she tried figuring out what to do next to avoid him. With a hasty gait she continued walking only giving a second glance over her shoulder to confirm whether it was actually Dante following her, before taking a sharp turn around a corner into a smaller sidestreet.
