- Bloodstream-
"Then distraction it is. You can go big out front doing as much damage as possible. Oren causes some nature to go hay wire the whole nine tryphids. Alice can rip the inevitable cops to shreds and I can.."
Sienna paused a small pout forming on their face. She wanted to talk about melting through clothes then flesh in interesting patterns but cut themselves short. They could taste it so sweet an event, unfortunately someone had to pick up the loot. A small smile came back when she realised this meant she could actually try some of the new painkiller she had read up about.
"I can enter as a patient and get to the pharmacy melt through the door and carry the bulk out in a laundry cart or two while everyone panics."
She drove the beer around in circles playing out all the motions of their actions then swigging down what was left.
"Hmm we'll need a get away vehicle. Maybe an ambulance i've always wanted to play with the siren!"
Sienna made the woo woo sound swinging her beer in a circle while dropping the last few dregs.

- Caeoimhin Oren Vermillion -
"Oh Alice... I meant to go in and be all sneaky. Not start slashing people up you maniac." He teased.
"I'm all up for a distraction. If we're going for a distraction, how big of a scene do you want me to cause? Explosions? Or just go absolute hay-wire?" Oren listed all the ways he could cause a scene in his head. Maybe the lifting of some skirts and ripping of some jeans. Maybe just flat out murder...
"Sienna you couldn't masquerade as a patient, You're far too beautiful to ever be consider one of the patients there. You don't have that sick glow to you" He flirted, smiling slyly at her. Of course he was joking but it was fun to tease.
"A getaway vehicle could be fun but there's numerous ways we could escape. But if you want to play paramedic then it'd not be bad to humour you.".
- The Zap -
Michael was all suited up in his best outfit, making himself seem sharp and cool. He felt a little bit more hyped up, not as groggy and shit as he was earlier. Quickly using some mouth wash he left the apartment and sped his way down to the Bella Heartania. Of course he stopped in a desolate alleyway so that no one would notice him. Making his way into the restaurant. Making his way to the man at the front desk he addressed his name, and was briskly taken over to the table that Jade was seated at.
Pulling out the chair he took a seat, cracking open the menu. "So, How are you Jade?" He queried almost uncomfortably. He hadn't talked to Jade in a while, so the vibe around them felt uncomfortable. It would've been a more natural scene if they were atop a rooftop of some building Zap just robbed having a nice discussion.

- Raven -
Lilly walked alongside Luke, and for the first time she felt scared. Truly, genuinely, scared. She had of course felt scared before; she wasn't fearless. But the amount of fear that coursed through her, was nothing like she felt before. Well nothing until her last night with Luke, three years ago. Even though she was prepared, she had a hard time going through it. Keeping an eye on Luke, watching him scamper on rooftops and do odd jobs, whilst staying inside his shitty apartment.
It was almost just as torturous for Luke, as it was for her. The only reason she didn't give up, was for him. Lilly continued walking on, alongside Luke, barely able to make out The Citadel from afar. They were close. Honestly though fear coursed through them, something else spawned because of it; excitement. They felt their heart beat in their chest, and the idea of being with Luke again, to take down people getting in their way, it made her proud. For a moment, she seemed to pause.
What would mom and dad think of us now? She hoped they would be proud, especially of Luke. Lilly continued to walk on, noticing that they were finally at the bridge of The Citadel. Lilly's eyes flicked up and she knew, that things were going to change for her and Luke. No matter what happened, she was going to stick by Luke's side. As he put it before, it was the two of them against the world.

- The Broker -
The Broker's smile dropped and he took a heavy sigh. He kept his eyes on Kay. "To be honest, there is a lot more going on and I wish I could tell you. But the times have changed drastically and as a result I don't really have the time. Besides it's something that would be best explained if you simply witnessed it. Feel free to talk to me tomorrow and I can go over this in more detail."
He turned to the remaining guests, Kinetic Warden, Lady Magnet, and Midnight Illusion. His focus was on the former two. "Now, what brings in veterans into the Citadel tonight?"
He was wondering what brought the two of them here, though he couldn't shake his mind of the unexpected detail he heard earlier.
- The Broker -
"So in some sense, I'm an interruption?" the Broker exhaled to Midnight Illusion as he looked over the corpse again. "Talk about pressure, now I know I have some sort of responsibility to take on". He looked at the details again, another missing link bothering him. "How did you find this out?"
- Shadow Fixer -
Cooper looked at the one hero who responded before looking back at Argent. "Now if you excuse me, I have someone to remember." He took another look around, Frequency and the young boy gone. He looked towards the gate, it opened up, and Cooper walked out with the companion keeping his distance. It was time to reflect.

- Hunter, Raven & The Sheriff -
Luke wiped sweat from his forehead, and continued trying to ignore the fiery pain in his legs. He had clearly walked too fast, and too far considering his injuries. He didn't mean to put such a strain on himself, but one glance at Lilly and he knew that she had also noticed. As the pair of them finally made it across the bridge and to the gate of The Citadel. Some of the Wastelanders seemed to have noticed them and opened the gate letting the two of them in. It was odd, how The Citadel looked and felt so different than when Luke and Lilly first entered. Both were so hopeful and optimistic of what it could deliver, but so far the only thing it managed to do was keep them safe, (Lilly sighed) or at least one of them safe.
Lilly took the lead, having a better idea of the different rooms in The Citadel than Luke did, but even still at best she knew where Luke's room was. She still had to figure out where her room was, and as a matter of fact she couldn't quite recall where other places like The Broker's office were. But as she stepped inside the building, she figured that would have to wait.
"Quiver!" boomed James, as he smirked as he recognized Luke and his sister. Shit what was her name again? James paused in the middle of his stride towards the pair, looking confused as he tried to remember. Lisa? Let's go with Lisa. James noticed, that both Luke and his sister were now in front of him. "And Lisa!" Lilly frowned slightly but then smiled out of amusement.
"It's Lilly," she replied, causing Luke to smile weakly at a somewhat embarrassed James who chuckled nervously.
"Close enough. What brings you two here? I thought you were staying at the-" James started.
"Yeah, well we decided to come here and do something to help," replied Luke, somewhat proud of his change of heart, but at the same time still worried. James smiled, impressed by Luke and started walking with them, though oddly enough the three of the were slightly unsure where they were going. "Something's changed. Do you know where The Broker is?" James nodded.
"Yeah sure, I was just in his office. I think I remember the way," noted James and he took the lead, walking just slightly faster than Luke and Lilly, which wasn't exactly that difficult considering that Luke had slowed down significantly, trying his best to take it easy with Lilly walking alongside him.

Lupus was getting irritated with conversation going on between Broker and this woman not to mention the fact that the tiger was still in the room, it was getting harder to maintain his canine instincts
- RoadBlock -
RoadBlock neared the Tower as the rain came down harder, knowing that the Tower would be no use now RoadBlock had one last place to look where it all started, knowing the root Roadblock continued its path to old part of the city

- Kay -
Kay took that as their cue to leave. They had acted rashly talking in front of others but it was a calculated risk as they were unsure they would return.
They gave a small nod mixed with apologetic smile towards the members of the meeting and left back through the door closing it quietly behind them. Hunter would be here soon if the end of the night did not catch them first then this tangle of ideas could be untangled. They lent against the wall once more taking off the sunglasses and placing them in their hands. The light reflected of of them as they twisted and turned letting the simple beauty occupy their eyes, while they prodded at memories trying to find the truth.

"But that doesn't mean that you two can't be real heroes." Esteban took a step back. What would have shocked most people, the prospect of being a hero, wasn't what impacted him the most. The real shock came from the way the question was posed. He had a choice. He decided not to respond to Blake; instead asking Natalia through his twin link. Sister, what do you think of this? I mean - this man is clearly crazy, isn't he?
- Kinetic Warden - The Warden folded his arms. As distracted as the High Chancellor appeared to be; the Ravagers were likely plotting their next move. He tilted his head to the side after the chancellor spoke. It was then that it hit him. You shouldn't have been so active recently, Broker. Could've slipped by with no issue..."We're investigating the events of the other night," he saw no reason to hold back his intention. It would've become clear eventually. "It's rather good luck that you managed to get such a high-ranking position from Reaver's schemes, isn't it?"

- Hunter & The Sheriff -
James continued to lead Luke, and Lilly down the same corridors, that the brown haired woman, had led him down a while ago. As he continued walking, he noticed Luke's slowing pace and slowed down slightly himself.
"So what brought you guys back?" questioned James, curious. Lilly side-eyed Luke, who did the same back to her.
"We came back because we wanted to. We want to help. Staying cooped up inside that Tower isn't helping things," replied Luke, causing James to shrug his shoulders.
"Fair play," noted James, as he continued walking and turned around the corner. "We should be close."
"I still don't exactly trust you," reminded Luke, smiling slightly. Lilly continued to walk on, remaining silent. James turned to glance at Luke.
"You have a fair point, but I still wasn't trying to steal your motorbike," said James, smirking and Luke sighed, too tired to argue the same point. He didn't really know what to think of James, he seemed kind of alright and fun. But at the same time, he did seem almost mischievous. Luke wasn't sure if that was exactly a good thing or not. His cocky attitude while demeaning was somewhat funny and almost- "Luke I was wondering, if maybe tomorrow you wanted-" Luke wasn't even cut off by what James was proposing. He stopped dead in his tracks as he saw, leaning on the wall was...
"Kay," uttered Luke as he dragged in a breath that didn't come out. Stepping forward slightly, he felt like he was almost being deceived and almost couldn't walk, his senses somewhat on overdrive as if they were trying to figure out, if what was in front of him was real or not.

- Kay -
Kay caught the conversation floating down the corridor like divers swimming above them while they sat in the deep oceans of their mind. Their name tugged at them causing the deeps to flood away. Purple eyes turned to the figure standing dumb founded looking straight at them. He was the same boy they had met apparently only a few days ago but there was change he looked tired with a few scratched not present in their past encounters.
Kay moved towards them standing just a little apart. They gave a small rather vulnerable smile mixed with a frown of worry.
"Hunter." They twitched the glasses into a pocket as they continued their slow gaze on Hunter. "If we keep just saying names everyone will think we're stuck in a loop."
Kay reached a hand a little shakily to touch Hunter's shoulder. Nervous of his reaction when they needed someone to be their friend right now.
"It's me."

- Hunter -
Luke was shocked, both James and Lilly standing aside and watching the both of them. Lilly was smiling, happy to see that Luke was reunited with his friend. He clearly cared about them a lot, to have to protect them through those riots. James, was smiling somewhat weakly and crossed his arms.
"I thought you were dead," murmured Luke, shocked at what was going on but at the same time happy. But then the guilt twisted in his stomach once more and he slowly took Kay's arm and put it away from his shoulder. Luke sighed. "A lot happened, after you shut down. You- Well the city went into these riots, and I carried you across the city, trying to keep you safe. But my sister came back, and you were heavy. I'm so sorry. I left you in my parent's home and went into the city, to try and find her and when I did we were swept away here, working for The Broker. Ever since then, everything has been so crazy. My sister's back. The gang that almost killed us is back. And- So much has happened. I'm so glad you're back. How are you feeling? Are you okay?"
Luke felt more fearful, wondering how Kay would react to his decision. He wondered if he should not have told them, they would have never known what would have gone on from the riots to...well to the present day.

- Rogue -
Natalia looked around the 'lair' in awe of The Knight's work. Her brother, Esteban was not as trusty as her, but as long as he carried the muscle of the pair, she wouldn't have to worry about the Knight being an untrustworthy person. Knight seemed fairly... odd whilst not fighting. Maybe just a quirk of his upbringing. She could tell he was British by the accent, so maybe he was too obsessed in a TV show or something as a child.
I don't know Esteban. Just- Just go with it. We can always leave later if things don't work out right, right?
"As incredible as all this is, Knight. What makes you think we want to be heroes? We're on the run from Apex, and having a status like that would only make us easier to target."
- Ryder -
Ryder huffed in thought. "Me and you think alike, Marshal. We both want this city down in dirt. And us bad guys have to stick together, right?" He hoped to charm the Marshal into a friendlier mood, knowing that it was uncalled for. The sun darkened to a deeper pink against the docks, and the putrid smell of oil and who knows what began to invade Ryder's senses.
"I'm not saying I want to steal all your glory or anything. Just... throw some ideas at me! What does this city fear? What does it rely on?"

- Kay -
Kay took their hand back, half moving a step backwards. They had concern in the form of words a human touch was a little too much to ask from anyone, especially someone who said dead over shut down.
"Thank you." The words were all that came to mind at first. It was tempting to use the platitude of sorry but that would be a lie, it was not Kay's fault that any of these terrible events had happened. It seemed he was in danger just not quite what they had supposed it would be. "You did more than anyone else would have."
"I'm... I'm." Kay paused looking for the right words. "Bits of my memories are missing it feels so strange to be able to forget."
Kay twitched a little as they thought of the reboot process. "Waking up in the dark alone and those cuts into my flesh."
A small anger at how useless they felt having lost the ability to trust their own judgement for now.
"I just want answers."

"So do I," said Luke, taking the lead and heading towards the doors of The Broker's office, with James and Lilly following closely behind. "I have no idea what happened to you, but I want to know what was going on when Broker took you." James and Lilly exchanged a look, they both knew they should stay out of this upcoming conversation. The trio stopped outside the door, Luke glaring slightly and wondering what exactly had been going on. Like Kay, he wanted answers.

"As incredible as all this is, Knight. What makes you think we want to be heroes? We're on the run from Apex, and having a status like that would only make us easier to target."
"Fair enough; you're on the run," Blake replied plainly, "But with me..." he corrected himself, "with the heroes you don't have to run anymore."
Beat.
"I mean," he replied, moving from his spot on the floor and beginning to pace, "Just look at today. You got captured then you kicked arse, wrecked shop and escaped. Here you can protect yourselves and the innocents of the city... with my tech... and your badass ninja skills!"
