- Ryder - "Mhm, sure" Ryder replied, not really listening to what Lucielle had to say. "I guess we'll just walk around and see if there's anything we can join in on. Never hurts to have more allies. The only worst part is having to share the loot."

- The Chaser - "I can do one better." She started her descent down the stairs and kept her eye on the monitor on her arm. "I need 250k, cash, unmarked, front hospital entrance." She kept up her descent, not going too fast to avoid suspicion. The entrance had someone waiting, someone she never knew but who knew her, a little mouse. Claudia took the time to look through the bad. 250 wads of one thousand, good for her to keep the woman above from killing anyone. She went back upstairs and saw the woman. "I have 250 sets of one thousand, so how about a fair trade. One thousand per hostage, I'll even throw them to you as they exit, no strings attached."

- The Harvester - Orlando turned slowly, not even bothering to raise his hands. "Slow down there, friend. I'm on your side, remember?" He placed his foot on Luke's head, ensuring his target would not escape while he was busy negotiating with the android. "Besides, it's not like I'm stepping on any toes here. You're in just as bad shape as he is. I don't think when Acchileus sent you on this hunt, trading an eye for an eye was what he intended." Orlando tucked his sickle back under his coat and bent back down over Luke, grinning a little at his unintentional pun. "Give me a hand, won't you? He looks to be a heavy one." - Compound - Edison sighed, disconnecting from Argent's line. He's probably busy. I'll see what I can do myself, I guess. Before he could make any moves, however, his phone buzzed in his pocket. My personal phone? Who... He pulled the device out and held it up to his ear. "Hello?" "Ed... hey. It's Nimbus. You saw the broadcast?" the voice answered, sounding a little less calm than Ed was used to from his ally. "Yeah. Looks like we might have an issue on our hands, depending on what happens here on out." "What should we do?" "I think our first priority should be recovering Gra- Starlass, and anyone else the Marshal has taken in." "Anyone else? You think the other missing heroes are in the same predicament?" "I have a funny feeling. Dr. Cooper, Butterfly, The Knight... they all disappeared over the last few days. My guess is that Marshal used them to get to Grace." "But why is she so important...? Well in any case, we'd be best off finding a way to get them back then. I'll see what my associate can dig up. And hey, Ed." "Hmm?" feeling the conversation coming to a close, Ed had started to lose his concentration. "Don't work too hard, okay?" Ed rolled his eyes. "Sure, sure. Let me know if you find anything" he finished, hanging up. So, here we go again. He slumped in his office chair, looking around the room. - Ares Warbander - Ares looked Bellona straight in the eye. He was no longer in the mood for any sort of banter. "Because I need it. There's something I have to go and do, to see for myself. A place I should have been instead of licking my wounds here." He flexed his fingers, waiting for an argument in response.

- Hunter - The phone call ended long ago, and with it all hope drained from Luke. He tried his best to disguise his ragged breathing, glaring at his two assailants, as he felt a boot pushed onto his head. Not willing to say anything any more that could potentially get him killed. He had to think. Clearly the man standing on him was experienced, a very good fighter, probably someone like a mercenary and they mentioned Acchilleus. Luke's heart skipped a beat, he could talk his way out of this. "I don't work for The Citadel any more. I left. I don't have anything against Acchilleus." The last part was a lie. This, Acchilleus, whoever they were, they were corrupting this city, ruining it. Luke definitely didn't agree with The Broker, but Acchilleus didn't seem any different. Just another power hungry guy, willing to kill Heartania if they could be king of the corpses. Luke wondered if they thought they would gain leverage by kidnapping him, but then again it was coincidental they went to find Luke now, when he was away from The Citadel and no longer under their protection. And what made him finally leave was Custos' death. Luke's eyes widened in realization. Had this been planned all along? Kay coming back, leaving, Custos dying, Luke leaving The Citadel. Was this all part of some elaborate trap? Fuck. Luke started to panic, he had to get out of here. Whoever was doing this, Kay, Acchilleus or some other predator, they were clever and they knew what Luke would fall for. This only worried Luke more, though he still cursed at the pain from both his broken hands, his attackers boot on their head and the knife embedded in his leg, with the blood still trickling down.

- Wild Card - Wild card stood around the corner from the gamble hall as the woman and her guard walked past near the cue of people going into the show "keep an eye on them boys, we havent seen the last of them" Wild card said into his ear piece looking at the cameras above they followed the two along with a third coming to meet them, after a short while the two men left holding a cane Miss Diamond came through with the security as she was about to dismiss them Wild card stopped her "hold on Miss Diamond our troublesome guest hasn't left yet, where is she?" - Argent Mind - .Argent Mind landed softly before the hospital, joining the Police cordon set up there. He received a swift report on the situation, and gave instructions to ensure no one left the building unsearched. With every exit supposedly secured by the police, he stood back, and reached out with his mind, searching for pockets of assurity, rage, or aggression amongst the wall of fear and pain.

- Starlass - Grace had took no time in leaving the scene, although she had no idea where to go. Her life was unraveling, literally so. Everyone knew now, the Marshal had one-upped her in more ways than one. She couldn't go home, no doubt news teams would be surrounding the area. She just hoped the Tower would protect her parents from opportunistic criminals. She flew high enough in the air to be passed off as a small plane, perhaps a helicopter: even a bird. Just a spec in the sky with no real cares or worries. I could be so lucky. Grace was angry, terrified, but above all else: helpless. She sped her way over to the edge of the city, where houses remained abandoned, untouched by the march of modernisation. Edging her way into a dingy set of old apartments, she had her opportunity to release her rage on whatever piece of furniture sat nearby. Starlass wouldn't have done this; but Starlass was dead. - Marshal Maleficus - The Marshal victoriously marched into his lair once again. He was making short work of his goals for the day. A few kidnappings here and there, a death or two, and the destruction of one young woman's life. Of course, the Marshal didn't forget about his remaining prisoner-friend. But to best effectively dish out his plan for Dr. Cooper, he would have to wait. I do enjoy dramatic effect.

- Dr Clueless - after the golem was defeated and a pile of rubble on the floor Clueless walked to pick a part of it up, holding up a piece of the golem hit pulled down his goggles "hmm, no more magic" he said, looking over at the rest of the golem he tried to find a piece with some magic left, looking over a small stone had a tiny bit of magic still in it "ah ha!" he said walking over to it pulling out some tweezers from his pocket he picked up the small piece of stone "there you are, gonna do some test on you little fella" he said puling out a small bag and putting the stone in it

- Acchilleus - "Good," replied Acchilleus curtly, smiling from ear to ear. All the pieces were falling together, perfectly. You could say it's almost storybook. He turned to face Monica and their friend, wondering if there was anything else the may need to discuss with them. "Do you have any concerns? I mean, the idea of the police suddenly supporting The Safe Zone, would almost give the idea that you are going against The Citadel." Acchilleus stepped closer. "And ideas are dangerous. Ideas can get people killed. Ideas have let powerful men to fall and people to their deaths." Acchilleus almost furrowed their brows as they looked down at Monica and their friend, whose name they had forgotten, only referring them as 'friend' in the lightest of terms. He wanted to make sure every ally of his was counted for, but at the same time the slip of an ally was not something that Acchilleus would spend time fixing, not until he had full control of Heartania. "So, Monica, tell me, do you think this is a good idea?"

- Monica Johnson - "The idea of supporting you is a tricky one, But to me it is a good idea. Even I were to be questioned about supporting a bunch of" She wanted to say upstarts "people who went against the government I have a response in ready for that. All I ask is that you make all of our meetings secret, and never tell them to anyone else. I won't be supporting your public image, I'll be a shadow supporter." She knew why she had to do this, it was of the up most necessity.

- Acchilleus - "Clever." Acchilleus' smile faded slightly. He knew Monica wasn't completely loyal to him. Loyalty is never complete. No matter what you do, how much you give, loyalty will never be something that is assured of anyone. Thinking that you can earn someone's trust, is what will get you killed. "Well, I will appreciate whatever officers you can sum up to help defend us, and these meetings will be secret." Acchilleus glanced at the pair, feigning concern. "Is there anything else?"

- The Broker - The Broker continuously tapped his fingers against the table, his temper was reaching peak levels. "I'm sorry sir, but Argent Mind is not available right now." Goddamn it. "Well, can you put me towards someone who is available?" "Sorry Sir, but who are you?" The Broker sighed heavily and replied, "I'm the goddamn High Chancellor, now put me onto someone!" It took a few moments for the receptionist to respond. "We have a 'Compound' he--" "Then put him on!" He checked his information deck, 'They're safe, on the way'. At least the Broker had some sense of satisfaction in the sea of frustrations.

- Monica Johnson - Monica sighed, "Not really. I just want to clarify why I'm not supporting your public imagine." She took a pause. "If I were to support your public imagine while you do this it makes me look bad, it makes the police look bad. It makes people lose their support in us and turn to the heroes, we can't have that. Especially if we want to have the people trust us more than they trust them." She sighed, she was beginning to feel the stress on her. "Is that clear?".

- Monica Johnson - She understood. "So far." She replied and made her way out of the safe zone with Janice by her side. They clambered into a car with black tinted windows. Monica let out a sigh before leaning forward and holding her head in her hands. Janice patted her back. "It's over Monica, It'll be fine, just you go home and get rest." "Will you be fine by yourself?" Janice smiled politely back at her, "I can take care of myself.". - Lucielle - Lucielle shrugged, "We're going to need money for me to get clothes. Is it non suspicious to be walking around with no clothes on? Surely we'll get stopped." Maybe Ryder wasn't that smart, or he just didn't like to pay attention. "I don't care about loot, as long as we get clothes." - Angel - Braidy Murphy Lee's lips wrapped around the straw of a nice iced mango smoothie. She stared out from her rooms balcony onto the city of Heartania. Her mother and father were working tirelessly to help the folks of Heartania, those with less than us. Her brother as well. Braidy couldn't do much herself. Her job was to clean up scum on the mean streets of Heartania late at night, but there were many other heroes doing that themselves, well the big ones focused on the big guys while the smaller focused on the small. She didn't mind being a small time hero, not associating with The Tower. A gentle breeze fluttered through causing her dirty blond hair to sway slightly. A calm gaze, her body relaxed, arm unwrapped. These few moments were absolutely perfect. The sun gave off a warm glow, the sky clear. Heroes were fighting Villains, people were dying but all those thoughts never reached Braidy as she sipped on her mango smoothie. A radio buzzed beside her, playing music of all different kinds.

- Kay - Kay let a smile play on their lips their rasping throat sound barely recognisable as a brief laugh at Orlando's questioning of the damage they had taken. They slipped the gun into the band of their trousers making sure the safety was clicked on. They crouched down on the opposing side of Hunter watching the panic in his eyes as they gently removed the strangers foot before slamming his head down in a calculated blow to knock him unconscious. With some care they removed Hunter's jacket drawing it on so that when the hood was up it obscured the ruin of their face. They drew out his phone from the pocket and was unsurprised to see that out of the people he had tried to call it was his sister who had been chosen. They typed a message once again throwing the phone at their new rather brash companion. This is just cosmetic damage, a day or two of repair and it will be gone. Follow and open doors. Kay scooped up Hunter in their arms as they had done once before, still just as lanky but possible to carry. It was a day of repeating patterns, eventually every day ended up happening again it seemed. They started towards the fire escape stairs without waiting for a reply. - Bloodstream - Sienna sighed at the wonderful communication skills of her partners in crime. She tapped at the dashboard for a minute or so before starting the engine and making their way out of the bay. There were a few people milling around outside but with the symbol of the ambulance they all tried their best to get out of the way. As they reached the exit onto the main road a big grin lit up their face as they happily hit the button to start up the siren. Traffic cleared space for them as they sped happily down the road whooping to themselves all the way.
