LEAD NO SHELTER - CHAPTER SIXTEEN: A LACK OF PLAN - A crowd of people seemed to emerge from whatever shadows lingered on in the shelter known as Oberon, wind continued to sweep outside breaking the silence as all eyes looked at Luke. He stood there with the walkie talkie in hand, the static swelling ever so slightly before fading again, his fingers tightening his grip as he peered down at the device and then back at Fang, glancing over his shoulder to the dead man. It wasn’t a plan he expected would work out in their favour but as far as distractions go, this was the best thing they had. Everyone and anyone was stilled by the shocking events of a few passing minutes, the sound of trickling ash still emanated from Sail as Echo hugged him close.
“So,” started Luke, his voice reverberating around the spacious room, the wind cutting in as he gazed over everyone. “So, there you have it. We fight. I know this isn’t what anyone wants, but it’s going to happen, they want to take away your weapons, your supplies, and they’ve already started taking away your people. Smoke is dead because of them. It was unprovoked and they shot him. My-” Luke paused as he saw the uneasy tones, the half-glances to one another, the clutching hands, the blaming stares.
“A friend of mine is in trouble because of them, taken hostage just like what they did to Gale, and there’s nothing to stop them from trying to overpower us and taking others as well. They’re here for a purpose and it’s not for the reasons of heroes. The people here, the place you call Oberon, you as Outsiders, you're the people who are willing to make an actual difference, in the city itself everyone sat back and let Acchilleus take reign, and now the city is in a worse state even after the riots. There are still good people in the city that are ready to fight back, and there are people here who are doing the same. What I’m asking from you isn’t just risking your life, or your friend’s life, or your sister, your brother, you parent, or anybody else’s. What I’m asking of you is to protect those lives, the people that you care about so much. These people that are coming for us, they can’t be trusted. To put it bluntly, there are two ways this can end; either we die or they do. It’s as simple as that.” Luke took a breath, once again glancing at all the blank expressions as the people tried to comprehend what was happening. “Can I count on you?”
There was nothing more than silence, as the Outsiders glanced at one another, uneasy and uncomfortable with the situation. Luke could understand, he could see the ideas trickling through their minds, maybe if they give Luke and Gale over they’d get away unscathed, maybe if they spoke to them they could ward them with words. But there was nothing, the air was still and for a moment, Luke expected the worse.
“We’ll do it.”
A single strong voice sounded out and Luke’s eyes met Bolt, a gaze of conviction between the both of them before she nodded to him, turning around.
“Okay listen up everybody, we don’t have a lot of time! I want any of the non powered to get any gun that they can, I need people with rifles to mostly get onto the railings, we should have plenty of incendiary ammo, in the meantime…” Bolt’s voice commanded everyone to realise her presence as she began shouting orders. Luke started to go round, handing people weapons as the once silent and slow domain of Oberon was suddenly rushed with energy, if the people weren’t all listening to Luke, then they were most definitely paying attention to Bolt.
Luke pocketed the walkie talkie, starting to quickly go over his weapons, finding his own seat where he perched himself as he began cleaning his weapons, starting to disassemble his gun as he began cleaning the barrel, wiping the sword, brushing the blood from himself as he was getting ready. A familiar sensation took root deep inside him, something he remembered when he saw the Vipers and their man at the helm fading in from the midst of snowy streets towards the bridge. His heart thumped against his chest and he couldn’t help but feel fearful for what was about to happen, clenching his shaking hand as he sighed.
“Hunter,” Luke glanced up to see Scope, glancing down at the many parts that laid on the table in front of him, as Luke started to assemble the gun once more. “It looks like I’m rubbing off on you.” Scope gave a smile that was cut shortly as Luke simply nodded.
“Yeah, thanks for showing me how to clean it,” droned Luke as he focused on putting the parts.
“No problem, I hope you’re okay,” noted Scope. “I just came by to talk, y'know, before-”
“Scope, come on! We need you on the balcony!” cried an unfamiliar voice as a stranger was simply waiting by the stairs.
“I’m coming!” called Scope, as he gave a final somber look towards Luke. “I better get going. I just want to hope you’re doing okay, with everything.” Luke nodded, before Scope suddenly lurched forward, whispering something in his ear. Luke’s eyes widened before Scope pulled away, and looking at him with a serious gaze, he nodded. Luke went back to his things, feeling Scope leave his presence as he began to sheathe his sword, place the gun in the holster, wipe his brow and stand up.
“I’m sorry,” Luke didn’t even have to turn around to know who it was as he ignored them at first, knowing that it wasn’t their fault, he didn’t know the situation though it didn’t help.
“It’s fine,” replied Luke.
“I just wanted to-” Gale seemed to stop himself as Luke turned around, at least pretending to acknowledge him. “I just wanted to ask if this was really needed, if we need to kill them. I’m worried about what they are and what they can do, and I’m just worried about what might happen if-”
“Shut up,” said Luke, he didn’t even sound angry, not even perturbed, he only spoke plainly as he glared at Gale. “This isn’t the time to start feeling guilty or bad for what’s happening. Dancing around what is happening isn’t going to help anyone, and after they kidnapped you and everything they’ve done, they’re threatening this place and I’m not turning my back on these people!” Gale seemed to flinch at the last moment, Luke didn’t even realise he had raised his voice, a few glances being cast his way as Gale simply nodded.
“I get it, I do. I’m sorry, I’m just nervous about what’s coming, after everything they’ve done,” replied Gale, his voice low. Luke nodded.
“It’s okay,” noted Luke. “I just need to know if I can count on you, this is going to get crazy and I can’t promise to protect you specifically when it all goes to hell.” Gale took a moment to think.
“You can count on me,” promised Gale, a determined look on his face.
Luke strode by, starting to head towards the outside world as the doors were opened for him and before he knew it, he stood in the courtyard.
“Open the gates!” commanded Luke, as two people pulled on the rope that lifted the makeshift gate, allowing him to leave as he felt others soon follow. The places were set, the people who were once talking to one another as friends, now stood side by side as soldiers in the courtyard and the outside. A line of men and women with guns as a line of rifles pointed from the balcony, cases behind them with Scope in the near centre, nodding to Luke who looked up to meet his solemn gaze. Bolt stood by and for a moment, the excitement was over, replaced by nothing more than dread. A black mass started to emanate from the treeline into the open field, watching a herd, far larger than they could ever realise and reaching at least a hundred people, continued to make their way over towards them all. Luke gazed in their direction, watching as they began to come closer and closer, static emanating from the walkie-talkie as a somewhat muffled voice came through.
“We’re here.”

LEAD NO SHELTER - CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: NO GOING BACK -
“So, here we stand,” Li stepped forward, his beady eyes glancing at the barrels of guns that faced him and those behind him. “I hope we can come to an understanding.” Bolt grimaced as both sides seem to shuffle uncomfortably, still letting the snow sweep through their skin as they perched themselves, Luke stared at Li.
“Bring him to me,” said Luke, he tried to keep his voice as cold and distant as he possibly could, trying to stay focused as a blonde head poked its way through the masses, being pushed and prodded, Luke inhaled deeply as there was a yelp and a push forward before he saw him. James stood there, his hands bound together by thick rope, he saw the scars, and wounds on his dirtied face, his messy hair matted with dried blood and dirt as for a moment, Luke felt the facade fade before he blinked and focused again. Even to see him at such a distance, after all this time, Luke was glad to see he was still alive, wondering what happened in Scarlet City that led him to this.
“Where’s Fang?” demanded Li, his eyes darting from one person to another, from Cyber, to Sail, to Bolt, and then finally on Luke, looking at him with a suspicious and heavy gaze as he waited.
“Fang is inside, I can take you to him,” answered Luke as he started to see Li glancing over his shoulder to some of the leather-clad men and women who started to step forward with him. “Only you.” Li’s head snapped in Luke’s direction.
“If you think I’m going inside alone then you’ve got another thing coming,” exclaimed Li. “We will enter, you will leave, you can claim your friend here and you’ll be on your way.” Li crossed his arms, as Bolt stepped forward.
“We’re not doing that,” snapped Bolt, causing Luke to suddenly glance at her. “We’ll exchange hostages and then you can go.”
“Oh really? Well I suppose I could just take the place for myself, admit it, you don’t have the people or the resources to stop us,” threatened Li as the people behind him shifted.
“And risk burning this place down, make us waste all our resources on you, it wouldn’t be worth it,” noted Bolt.
“What if I killed him right now,” said Li coldly as James glanced worriedly at the men who started to shift closer to him.
“We kill Fang,” declared Luke.
“I see,” replied Li. “Do it!” He shouted, watching as his people all suddenly raised guns and palms, fires dancing in their hands as guns raised on either side, the line of rifles at the ready. “Either we all die or none of us do, there’s no way this ends without us getting that place. So put your guns down now!”
“You aren’t getting anything!” cried Bolt, as her crossbow was in hand, aimed directly towards Li. Luke glanced up to see Scope in the row, simply nodding as he turned to see James, his eyes flickering upwards then down at Luke and he gave one simple solemn nod.
Luke raised his fist among all the shouting that started to erupt from either side, soldier to soldier, screaming demands at one another.
“What are you doing?” questioned Li watching Luke.
Luke stared at him, watching as he slowly realised and his eyes started to look upward.
Luke closed his fist.
Fire erupted among the Ashes, bullet after bullet suddenly piercing them all as an explosion of gunfire sprang out towards them, consuming them in flame as Luke looked on, the last of the incendiary ammo Scope had been so adamant to inform him about being wasted away as it caught the skin of the army before him. James disappeared in a cascade of infernal smoke, white lights suddenly appearing through as bullets began to jet by, shouts and screams emanating from the army as the gate suddenly opened behind them, Bolt, Cyber, and others starting to head back inside as they could already feel the rage of the Ashes.
Luke ran with them, before he stopped, swerving to look at the fire and smoke, in time between the great flames to see them part, and with them, James sprang forward sprinting towards them. He could barely believe it when he was mere inches from him as James grabbed his arm, pulling him inside the courtyard in time as the gate closed and a row of gunfire smashed into the metal before them, both of them practically arm in arm, watching as the Ashes began to rush forward.
Bullets would beat on against the tide; no going back.

LEAD NO SHELTER - CHAPTER EIGHTEEN: WHAT WE DESERVE -
As they beat on beyond the closing gates, James skidded and spun in time to a large bolt of fire swimming through the snowy air towards them. Luke watched James quickly raise his hands and part the fire, watching James’ mouth engorged with fire and smoke as he breathed out a great infernal tower that deflected another incoming bolt before the ropes were let down and the gate closed, barely in time for another great mass of fire. Bullets collided with the Ashes but it was far from enough as the gate began to melt, set on fire along with the weak chain link fence that surrounded Oberon as many rushed outside, weapons in hand.
The fence collapsed, broken down as Luke saw plenty of masked men and women heading in their direction, side by side with James, the both of them simultaneously filled their hands with water and fire. Luke rushed forward, he felt his powers were still weak, still fading or working against him but right now he only wanted to control them, whether it was through force or not. He strained himself as he allowed the water to freeze in his hands, sending hurtling shards of ice to stab at the others, the second being melted by flame that rocketed toward him before James stepped forward. Once again he parted the flames, and Luke froze the snow underneath him, creating a pillar that launched James through the air as he kicked down allowing a wave of fire to slice at those in their path. Landing, James buckled for a moment and Luke sent another stream of shards to those about to take advantage of the moment of weakness.
Both of them began backing away, especially as another Outsider could only barely create a wall of earth between them and the shooting Ashes. Soon powers and pillars were being created, only being melted away into nothingness by the scorching fire that melted snow and skin alike. Luke didn’t even realise when he was separated by James, too many Ashes overwhelming them as he could see molotovs thrown in every direction, one thrown on the balcony allowed fire to trickle down and that’s when Luke found himself rushing back inside, hoping James was there too. Luke barely managed to dive in front of a downed table as he felt the blast of bullets nearby, aimed directly towards him. As he peeked his head over, he barely ducked as he saw a woman a shotgun in hand and aimed towards his head before he managed to avoid the blast.
Luke fell over, his ears ringing as shrapnel and shattered plastic scabbed and scarred his face, falling into his hair as he tried to look up, seeing Echo desperately trying to put up a good fight before a swarm of Ashes surround her, a molotov suddenly being thrown and colliding into her face. Her screams unable to be heard as she scratched at her face before being shot in the stomach, Luke gazed around, seeing the innumerable amount of Outsiders and Ashes being killed. As he barely found the strength to try and get up, he could see boots, the woman with the shotgun pumping it as they aimed towards him, his eyes only widened as he could see the finger at the trigger and-
…
A bolt poked through their neck, their finger on the trigger twitching as the shotgun fell at their feet and they fell soon after as Bolt revealed herself, aiming the crossbow at them as she nodded at Luke before aiming again. Luke got up, barely steady as he turned to hear a snarling voice.
“You!” Xiang swiped at them with a fiery hand as Luke jumped back, whipping out his sword as he started to fight back, the both of them swinging wildly, Luke being burned and punched as he barely avoided bolts of blazing heat, feeling himself sweat from how much he had to dodge and duck instead of being able to fight. They continued to clash on and on, the bullets and battle whizzing away as Luke managed to slice at Li’s left arm, causing him to scream aloud as his left arm fell limp, his fingers twitched as blood ran down his sleeve. In what seemed to be a move out of nothing more than fury, Luke suddenly felt the feet swept from underneath. His sword clattered to the ground as he could see Li, one hand trying to grow ever so close towards his face as Luke continued to push away, the man was surprisingly strong, still pushing forward. “Stay. Down!”
The words reverberated in Luke’s mind as he glared up at the man, one arm lurching towards his sword as Li noticed, with all his might trying to force his one and only strong hand down to Luke’s face. He could feel the fire flickering in Li’s hand, the unbearable heat getting closer and closer to Luke’s face, as he closed his eyes until he felt the grip of the hilt and swiped.
Despite the screams, despite the shouts, Luke never heard such a rapturous expression of pain until that very day, opening his eye as he felt the hand still in his grip, but now airless, limp, lifeless and devoid of strength, as the hand was severed from the arm. Li continued to scream so loud, Luke could see the veins embellished in his throat. It was only then as Li looked towards the burning ceiling and backed away that someone fell ontop of him, a large muscular body that pinned him down and stopped the screams, and Luke looked on to see the Outsiders, Bolt leading Sail away from the corpse of Echo as she waved in the direction of the door.
“Come on! We have to go!” Her screams seemed dulled as the smoke was starting to get to Luke, causing him to already start to feel weaker as he only now realised how hard it was to breathe when he needed it the most.
“No, please!” Li screamed and Luke turned to see him, watching his other fingers start to slowly turn into ash, trying to fight back against the corpse on top of him whose hands were uncovered, one laying on his arm, the other on the back of his neck. “Please, help me, please!” Li struggled to fight back, every movement, every motion only brought the inevitable faster and harder against him, until his eyes lingered on Luke.
“Luke, come on we have to-” James’ familiar voice came to his side as he grabbed his shoulder, only to turn and see the disaster that was the fading man. “Oh shit.” Li continued to struggle, looking at Luke, pleading for his help.
Luke slowly shook his head as he sheathed his sword and watched Li’s eyes widen as he tried to protest, try to say something, but his lips started to become a waterfall of ash and dread and the last signs of life were the gargles and whimpers his voice descended into, the inevitable end to war, and to chaos.
“Luke!” James got Luke’s attention again, shaking his shoulder as Luke nodded, glancing around to hear the sound of metal creaking as the both of them began to rush towards the exit, before skidding to a stop as steel and stone collapsed in front of the door, confining them into the fiery pit surrounding them.
And they had no choice but to quickly back away.

LEAD NO SHELTER
- CHAPTER NINETEEN: A HUNTER BAPTISED IN ASHES -
Luke backed away as he heard grunts and cries around him, turning back he could see James blocking and controlling the fire that came their way, many of the Ashes still entombed with them in this fiery hell they could barely endure. Luke saw words being formed but couldn’t hear them as he was punched, a gloved hand connecting with his jaw as he fell to the floor. As he clashed with the floor, Luke no longer saw a once standing plain table beside him, but instead a familiar table, a wooden one, one that he hadn’t seen for years, the dinner table from his home and his sword right underneath it. The fire lingered on outside his vision as he grabbed the sword and sliced upwards, stabbing at the man that was about to drown him in fire. As he pulled the sword out, standing up and watching the blood spray on him, he looked around to find himself in Oberon, the flames still consumed everything as he quickly rushed to James who shot at one of the Ashes hurtling towards him, his revolver still in hand.
“We have to go!” cried James as he looked up at the sound of creaking metal, pulling Luke out of the way as they dove towards the floor with metal crashing behind them, light started to slowly shimmer inside as snow found itself drifting through holes in the large rooftop. “Luke!” Luke slowly got up, James dragging him as they looked around, a few of the Ashes were left, but most were far too focused on trying to find some way to breathe or get out than to turn towards them. Luke pointed at the stairs nearby.
“The balcony!” ordered Luke as he began pushing James towards the stairs, just in time as they turned to see a shrouded man coming towards them before more metal threw itself down, bludgeoning their body in a bloody mass and destroying the stairs which collapsed, Luke barely managing to scamper up as they continued.
“Come on we have t-” The rooftop continued its collapse as fire and metal met, James fell back, metal and shrapnel scratching at his face causing him to clutch the side of his face in pain as Luke watched metal collapse in front of the doorway towards the balcony, the white field of snow that lingered on disappearing from view. “We have to...get out…Luke…” James’ voice sounded weak as blood dripped from the side of his face, as he started to try and pull at the blockage, Luke could barely focus, hearing his own name reverberate in his mind, his vision almost seemed to be lost as everything was fading into obscurity.
“Luke...Luke!”
Luke gasped for air, the smoke and fire still trailing behind him as he turned to find himself in a doorway, he blinked, hearing fading coughs from behind as he wanted to turn, but he couldn’t, not when he saw her in the doorway.
“Luke, please don’t go.” Her voice trembled, her eyes were soft, as she looked far younger, grabbing at Luke’s arm, trying to drag him into the doorway as he could see his old home. The furniture exactly like he remembered, and his mother and father, both of them staring at him. His father’s old and accentuate features, he was frowning, his brows furrowed as his brown eyes were glaring directly at him. Luke shook his head.
“Let’s just talk about this,” The voice of his mother, one that he could barely remember sounded out, her hair was messed, some falling in front of her face. Her shoulder was grabbed by his father.
“Leave him Lilly, come on. If he wants to go then that’s fine!” barked his father, Luke glanced at the hand that was gripping his arm, as he heard his name, echoing, turning to see James pressed against the metal, the fire spreading as more of the rooftop started to fall.
“Luke! What are you doing? Luke!” His voice echoed as Luke turned around to see Lilly, still grabbing his arm, an odd sight to see that for once he was the older one, as he looked at his parents. Both of them looked sorrowful in their own way as he blinked.
“I’m sorry,” murmured Luke, shaking his head.
“Luke, please…” Lilly’s voice started to slowly fade as he continued to shake his head, pulling away from her tight grip as he could see the hand on him grow more pale, her face grow more frozen and as he stepped back further and further. Luke realised he recognised the visage that grew older in front of him, forming the face of the dead sister he held in his arms, growing and dying the further he retreated back into the shadows of reality.
“Luke!”
Luke gasped for air, looking around as fire was scurrying up the steps, smoke and ash filling his mind as Luke realised he couldn’t seem to focus, the world appearing as a blur as his mind was hit with a cataclysmic amount of pain, all he could see was white searing light as his mind couldn’t stop, Luke focused, a million different things ran through his mind;
Kay The Broker The Citadel Lilly James Acchilleus The Vipers The Stadium The Tower Syndicate The Photographer, The Explosion The Mayor The Child The Alleyway Custos Sarah Ezekiel The Ship The Outsiders The Assassins
The hunter dies but still breathes
His mind was nothing more than a flash of absolutely everything as he breathed, spluttering and coughing on the ash. Luke looked at the terrified James, as he glanced around, a part of him feeling different as he took a deep breath, and then another, and another, and started to feel the snow around him, the trace of moisture in the air as he focused deeply, feeling water start to spring from nothingness as a great wave held aloft in the air above the fire and smoke. Luke felt nothing more than power coursing through him as he remained, calm, steady, and flowing, feeling almost refreshed as if he had opened up something new within hi that he never even realised was ever hidden away. Luke pushed forward and watched James duck as a great tide of water crashed into the barrage that blocked them, sending metal and more hurtling elsewhere as their way to the balcony was open. Luke and James exchanged looks as they quickly rushed forward, and as they did, they felt the balcony, mostly ablaze, tip as stone crumbled underneath their feet, they crashed into the railing and fell down, hitting the somewhat soft ground underneath.
The dragon falls but still flies
“James,” breathed Luke as he slowly helped James up, looking at Bolt who rushed over, helping them both up, as they turned to see Oberon, enraptured in an inferno that they had to back away from. Gale was next to Luke and he looked at them all, there was only a handful of them left, Sail was without his sister and only stared around, confused and upset at what was happening.
“We have to go,” ordered Luke as he stretched and stood up firmly albeit with pain as he winced slightly and started to step forward with Bolt, the rest of them following as they now made their way over the snowy fields, leaving behind the only semblance of comfort Luke had managed to find in such rough weeks. But a part of him knew, he didn’t need it anymore.
Luke left anew, bloodied and baptised in ashes.

LEAD NO SHELTER - FINALE: VICTORY - “Hunter,” Bolt’s voice seemed soft and soothing, caring for once as she caught his attention causing him to turn in the snow facing her now standing in front of the handful of survivors behind her including Scope, Cyber, Hawk, and the others all of whom were trying their best to seem strong throughout. “We’ll be going now. I don’t know if you were willing to stay after what happened, I just wanted you know that-”
“It’s okay, you don’t need to say it Bolt,” said Luke, glancing towards Bolt. It felt wrong to be smile but he did so anyway, watching as Bolt hugged him before holding him at arm’s length, staring at directly at him. “Where will you all go?”
“Titania, it’s another place a few miles from here, still close to the city and it’s bigger, we kept tabs on it to use for emergencies,” Her head turned to the smoky denizen that was Oberon now too far away and obscured by trees and snowy hills. “In case of that.” She paused, and sighed. “I can’t believe it, but I think it’s best for me to lead them. I thought of maybe making it in the city but…” She turned again, looking at the smiling or sullen faces of the Outsiders. “They need me now, after what happened all I know is we stopped some bad people from taking over the city, and it would have been worse if they had more people.”
“I just wanted to thank you so much for everything your people have done for me,” admitted Luke.
“Thank you,” a voice came from the side and Luke tuned to see Gale, slowly ebbing away from Bolt’s grip he stepped closer towards him, a warm smile on both their faces. “You saved me, and I can’t believe it’s finally over.” He cast his eyes towards James, who simply nodded at him, smiling. “Thank you.”
“What will you do now?” asked Luke, curious and slightly worried.
“I think I’ll stay with them, if that’s okay. I’ve got nowhere else to go and a lot to learn but, I’ll stay in contact,” nodded Gale, receiving some looks of affirmation and acceptance from the others.
“If you need me, just look for Hunter in the city, I won’t be far, I promise,” noted Luke, quickly pulling Gale into a hug. “Just stay safe.” The two of them separated and that was that. After an exchange of goodbyes, well wishes, and wholehearted appreciation, the group of Outsiders slowly sank away into the shadows of the forest, not being seen again and Luke felt a new air around him, as if he could hardly believe that after all of this, it was finally over. The madness, the chaos, the rivalries, and the bloodlust, it was all gone. He turned to James, the both of them stood silent, only a few feet apart but their minds miles away before the both of them rushed together, hugging and finally kissed as they took a moment to bask in one another’s presence, almost laughing out of the sheer shock of it all.
“I can’t believe it- what happened?” asked James.
“You tell me, what happened? I thought you went to Scarlet City!” said Luke, the both of them just smiled, ignoring the shock, ignoring the horror, letting it flit away from their lives for just a moment as Luke explained everything from the ship to the city to the new home he had found; everything.
“So much happened in Scarlet City that I have to tell you about,” murmured James, a slight sense of cockiness in his voice as the both of them started walking towards the city. “But I just have to know, Luke what happened back there, you just seemed to...stop and for a second I thought-”
“I...I saw my parents again. It felt like a dream, it was from the night I left and Lilly, she was there,” Luke’s voice was low as James just nodded in some form of understanding, not saying anything. “And then I felt everything again, since this all started, since I met so many people and seen so many things, and had to do and survive so much of it all, all just going through my head.” James glanced towards Luke as they continued walking. The both of them were thankfully mostly unhurt, only scrapes and scars, but mostly the smoke that burned their throat was what made them feel so weak in those last moments.
“Are you okay?”
Luke nodded.
“Yeah,” He smiled. “Yeah, I think I am.”
The sounds of traffic started to grow louder and louder as they could see the city, its skyscrapers and the streets all together. Luke and James just simply looked at one another, before they held hands, Luke looked up determinedly at the city once again and with that, he started walking towards it.
