Snowflake's cry of pain gave Jason just enough warning to see the gun coming, and he reacted as quickly as ever. Violently shoving her away, he was saved from her point blank shot, but in exchange he left himself open to fire from the riflemen. He ducked low, dodging the majority of the fire, but a bullet struck his shoulder as he did so. His armour buckled and broke, and he gritted his teeth as the bullet landed a shallow, but painful, wound in. In response, he grabbed a nearby corpse off the floor, and hurled it at the shooters with a lot of force and frustration behind it.
Reaver hurled herself to the side, landing on her back with a lot of force. As she fell, she fired both pistols dramatically, filling the air with a dozen or more accurate shots as she ave it her all. Even then, when she landed, her legs were dangling off the ever increasing hole, and she was losing balance fast. Quickly holstering one of her guns, she began to drag herself back up with all her might, wanting to beat the next crumbling attack.
Shade considered her situation, and decided after a small deliberation, that it was time to move. Stepping back suddenly and without warning, she began to dart away, leaving the bloodied woman behind her as she tried to make her escape.
Venator rolled her eyes at Harvester's escape, and prepared to go after him... When a familiar face across the battlefield caught her eye. It was pure chance that the flow of combat had revealed this figure to her, but when it did, she couldn't help but growl in anger. The woman was covered in blood and scratches, and looked to have been standing inside a shadow. Now she was in the open, there was far more to see. Venator knew that woman. She had been at the hospital, and had claimed to be a nurse... She was one of that band of criminals Venator had been hunting without success. The answer of what to do next was unquestionable- she raised her bow, and opened fire.

-Wild card- the body came hard and fast one of the body guards jumped out of the way but the other only noticed the body at the last minute and it landed hard as it hit him sending him to the ground, the other guard tried was going to lift the body of the grounded guard as he appeared severely winded from the blow "Dont help him lead him away from the Girl!" Wild card shouted at the guard who stopped what he was doing and started to fire again, Miss Diamond dragged him away from being shot by the opposition "what are you doing?" she shouted over the gun fire "if we want the upper hand in this fight we have to take out the big gun" he shouted ---------------------------------------------------- -Joltz- Joltz was still slashing away as wounded and killed a few more mice manically laughing along the way, a couple of mice came around and started to shoot at her as the ones in front held up the breaking shields making jittery movements she dodged most of them but two got through one hitting her sickle chain knocking it out of her hand and the other grazing her arm causing her to pull it in close "Owwch!" she said, the mice began to move closer stepping over the melted snow one of her though popped out and started to point at the floor 'shoot here Quick!' ducking down she placed her injured arms hand on the floor and sent bolt of electricity through the water electrifying the mice knocking them to the floor, giggling away as they fell to the floor a large flash of light covered the battle filed showing every thing then followed an even larger rumble in the sky, Joltz eyes light up the other gasped and turned to Joltz ' ok on my signal throw the... the sharp thingy in the air, this is gonna be gooooood' the thought said rubbing their hands together and looking up to the sky

Pathfinder James Liu had received calls from some of the people in East City working outside the neighborhood that people from the Safe Zone were making a beeline for the Citadel. Wouldn't have been that big of a deal if they weren't armed to the teeth, but they were, so it was probably best he had a look. He put his phone in his pocket and got dressed in about a second, jeans, t-shirt, and a jacket, nothing fancy. He double checked to make sure he had everything he needed, which wasn't much, and then raced out the door. He had found that he had trained enough that he didn't need a gun anymore, seeing as he could move faster than a bullet, he would probably be more effective in a melee, if any fight was needed. He raced towards the Citadel. It wasn't his fight, but it was good to keep an eye on the happenings of the city, make sure nobody was going to go after his turf or his people. He was about a block away and could hear fighting when he stopped. He glanced around and looked at a tall building, it would provide a good view of what was happening. He took a few steps, and then began running. He focused on his speed as he took a step onto the wall, and then another, and another, all in rapid succession, as a speedster does when he runs. He managed to race his way up the building, creating enough friction to support himself with his speed so that he wouldn't fall back down. He hopped up onto the roof and began walking over to the side overlooking the battle when he paused and glanced up. Starlass was standing there, and not looking too happy. Pathfinder stopped in his tracks, he only knew her enough to recognize her from when he had run to the Tower a couple times in the past. Hoping she didn't feel any animosity towards his gang, he put his hands to his sides to show he meant no harm before greeting her, "Starlass."

~ Snowflake ~ The pain of burning ants crawling under her skin intensified and by the time Jason had shoved her away Snowflake had lost all her gracious balance and crashed forwards into the ground with a thud. She shifted onto her back and groaned in pain, slightly protected by the suppressive fire from what seemed to be one of Card’s men. Snowflake painstakingly shifted her shoulder into a position which should ensure the broken bone to heal quickly and evenly. With a couple of rasped breaths she froze the ground underneath her and Jason and fired again towards him. If she couldn’t kill him now, she would have to keep him at bay until an opportunity showed itself or her fracture healed.
- Felix - Felix’ eyes widened in fear and he looked at Ripley, almost reading his thoughts- or at least the look of determination on his face. He grabbed Ripley’s shoulder as if to hold him down on the ground even though he hadn’t moved a muscle. “Don’t go near her! I don’t want you to get hurt!” His eyes flickered momentarily and he thought for a second. The only way he could keep Ripley safe, was if… “If I get caught, promise me you won’t come after me.” He lied through his teeth now, though the address he gave him was real enough, “I can escape them, and when I do I want to meet you in the run down hotel at Ecclestone Street- do you remember tiger lady?”
- Jade Blythe -
Jade could see it from Claudia’s demeanour; something terrible must’ve happened while the two were enjoying their day out. The halfway shout was filled with worry and fear, which reflected in Jade’s eyes like white stars upon the night sky. “Calm down! What happened?!”

Sienna fell forward seconds after the shadow moved the sudden shock of loss whipped through her body. She spasmed going from her knees to face flat on the floor, bruises blossoming on her cheeks. It was made infinitely worse as she started a hacking cough that spat streams of blood onto the floor beside her as her legs instinctively curling upwards.
Her throat was on fire, the main reason she didn't feel the arrow in her shoulder till the point had already crumbled into broken molecules.
"Shit." She spat from bloodied lips. As she fingered the black feathers as she got to her knees again, she wished she was back at home. Not the home with Alice and Oren. The home she had grown up in, the one where her parents still lived. She wanted to curl up on the sofa with a glass of wine and just chat about the day they had been through. The memory died as it all flooded with blood. They would never want her back, she had been a monster to them on death row and now she was even more of a monster, dripping with her own toxicity.
"I'm sorry." She whispered as the feather melted away and she turned to find the figure who was after her.

-Joltz- as Joltz slashing away at the mice her thoughts had a little discussions 'do you really think the lightning will hit again?' one thought said ' it better happen other wise were out of this fight, we can do much with a few back up batterys' the other thought shouted 'i dunno, we could get alot of power out of those, and why do you want the lightning to hit so bad anyways?' the first thought said rubbing the back of her neck ' i dunno i juts thought it would be fun, altho i think some "Greater force" will stop it from happening' the other thought said mockingly, giving a concerned look to the thought the first one replied 'cant some other " great force" make it happen?' it questioned folding her arms ' i dunno i think well just get the same response...i mean, probably not' it said with shifty eyes, the first thought started to look around 'hey this place must have a power generator right?' it said looking at the Citadel "will you two stop talking, IM TRYING TO KILL HERE!" Joltz shouted as slashed one of the mice ((this may come across as a little negative and i do apologize if it seems that way)) -------------------------------------------~Dr Clueless~ picking up the radio and keeping it with him he put it in his lab coat pocket "may as well look around this place while im here, im pretty sure who ever owns this place is dead or about to be dead...either way there not here" he said as he walked through the safe zone, walking up to to a couple they looked up at the Q-bot and quickly ran away "well that was rude, can you believe that? i just wanted to know what time it was...rude" Clueless said turning to the Q-bot as it shrugged

THE QUEEN OF HEARTS | Alice Drake Alice jerked forward as the shadowed figure suddenly made a beeline away. She was more than ready to make pursuit, tightening her grip on her swords but as a foreign sound tore through the air she stopped and turned to find she was too late to save her ally; Sienna from being impaled by an arrow. Guilt and fear shot through Alice. She wasn't used to fighting will allies. Alice had been working with Waters and Vermillion for a good few months now but this was the first time they had experienced full blown battle together. Her allies were thieves - damn good ones at that - who had a proficiency in the art of killing, but Alice was a full-blown killer; mercenary, assassin, child soldier; she was used to fighting alone, making mistakes and paying for them, but someone else; a fr- an ally getting hurt due to her mistakes? That was a new feeling. Quickly, Alice threw herself in front of Waters, her swords spinning into a strong battle stance to defend her from the incoming enemy; the same archer from before. "So this is a grudge, huh?" Alice gritted her teeth with a sneer.
APOLLO | Jay Hearne The two had marched dutifully to this very spot, overlooking the battlefield that awaited them. But as the battle-tried viglante turned to Jay, asking a simple "Ready?" his determined brow sank into fear and reluctance. "Wait what?" he scrambled for words, "Do we even have a plan? We're not gonna to kill anyone are we? And are we really gonna to try an' save HIM?!"
CRIMSON | Thomas Drake "No," Crimson remarked, peering back down his scope, "There's a whole lot of players on the field and I can't exactly get a clean shot, talented as I am." He pulled back, sheathing the rifle once more. "Now, if you excuse me," Crimson hopped onto the ledge of the building, "There's a man in blue trying to save that scumbag and he's about to be mine." Suddenly Crimson leapt off of the rooftop, falling a good few feet before plucking himself out of the air will a well placed grapnel shot. He soared from the sky, landing in a nearby alley where he found his old, worn motorcycle. It has served him well, as would do nicely for a quick entrance. And so he mounted the bike and sent himself hurtling down bridge of the Citadel, jumping off at high speeds as he sent the bike crashing into the blockade of shielded Mice and immersed himself in a crowd of Vipers. He fought his way through the chaos, hacking and slashing into Mice and men as he made his way to the opening of the blockade that resided by the edge of the bridge. Quickly, Crimson grapneled up to an above lamppost only to throw himself at the hero known as Sonar.

Kay laughed aloud.
"Must be the hero side. They do like their dramatic exits."
Their voice stretched across the space echoing to no one but themselves. The now empty rooftop was theirs. They moved to the edge sitting on the edge behind a cooling stack to keep just out of view. So much pointless action. So much waste. This was not what they enjoyed or lived for. Even though it pained them because they felt that L was unprepared to fight, they were glad she would never gladly take part in a blood bath like this.

- CLAUDIA KRAMER - She sped through the streets as if she was an ambulance getting a 911 call, the entire trip saying 'fuck' and 'shit' to herself. It was only when she had to stop at a stop light that she composed herself a little. "Of all the days, of all the FUCKING days..." She was annoyed, but at the same time was fuming at the tiny little detail that Mira left out of her warning. Jade had asked what was wrong, and Claudia tossed her the phone that showed the rolling news. "That's what's wrong!" She continued to speed.
- JESSICA PAIGE - About half way around the stadium interior, and only the music filled the senses. No one saw anything and she sent a few of her family members to check the list of tickets accepted. "Anything?" "Nope," a family member replied. The search continued.

With the riflemen momentarily distracted, Jason decided it was time to finish this fight. As Snowflake took another shot, he darted to the side, before hurling himself towards her prone body. His foot lashed out to knock the gun from her grasp, before he brought his fist down with all his might onto her chest. If she was to go down soon, he would be able to help turn this battle.
Venator sized up her opponent, noting the speed of her spinning blades. There wasn't a chance an arrow was getting past that kind of block. There was another option, however. The shot on the blood woman had been four hits. One more. Drawing back her bow string, she shot an approaching Viper in the chest. It came off as a show of force, but it was a lot more than that. Facing down the swordswoman, she fired another arrow, right at her chest. She wouldn't get past that kind of block, but this arrow would explode as soon as it came into contact with the swords- she could blow through it instead.
Shade was running when the light flashed in the distance. Crying out in pain, she dropped to her knees as a sensation of burning flashed across her. The pain went with the light, leaving Shade on her hands and knees, panting as she tried to recover herself. Smoke drifted off her back as she forced herself up, cursing the weather under her breath. She didn't want or need this in the battle- it was hard enough without the sky attacking her.

~ Snowflake ~ The gun slipped from her hand and flew across the bridge in a low arc, and Snowflake tried to counter with an icicle shooting up from the ground towards the jock’s neck- but she was too slow. The feeling of her rib cage cracking underneath the armour was horrific, unlike any torment Snowflake had felt before. With a scream several icicles shot up from the ground around her and attempted launch themselves at Jason. Snowflake knew he would be able to avoid them, but at this point it was all she could think of doing in her panicked mind. Stunned and unable to move she gasped like a fish out of water, unable to find a way to safety.
- Jade Blythe - Jade watched in horror as the news broadcasted one of her greatest fears; the Citadel under attack by Acchilleus’ troops. Heroes, mercenaries and villains had joined the fray and fought against each other among the corpses of their fallen comrades while blood soaked the very ground they stood upon. A glimpse of the Ravagers and Wild Card’s men shook her with fear. If Jon was out there, then- “No, no, no!” She cried out and tightened her seat belt. She didn’t know what she would do once they got there, but hopefully the two women would be able to think something out.

- HUNTER -
Luke ducked one of the swings from the nearby Viper, an odd knife in hand before he shoved the katana through their chest. The feeling of the sword, its grip, the airy swing, all of it felt so unusual to him and yet at the same time, eve after training, it felt right. It might have been whether the sword wasn't balanced for him, or simply the literal heat of battle as gunshots continued to blade through the fire; muzzle flashes added to its light. It was when the sword dragged him down with the dead carcass that Luke was suddenly more fearful than ever. Some of the Vipers continued to approach, managing to make their way around or sometimes even through the dying flames. James was on the main offensive, disarming Vipers and shooting the others, he flitted from gun to gun, clashing with them with his fire. He was in the front, creating lines of fire to hold them off, yet the cold wind and harsh snow would only sweep them away. It was when bullets scattered themselves at James’ feet that he fired the first shot from his revolver, watching one of the men burst into flames as he ran wildly and distracted the others. A Viper was heading towards Luke, who was distracted ith his katana still plunged into the dead carcass as he created another wall of ice to hold up against the barrage of bastards coming for them. It was when the man was only a few feet away, that Luke luckily tugged at the katana, the blade swinging so far it strike the Viper’s neck. He was somewhat disgusted with what he did, but he spent enough years to disdain himself from the guilt of killing people. It had to be done, whether he liked it or not. He was surprised to see James holding up his revolver towards Luke, presumably only just noticing the man that had been heading towards him, and from the fear in his eyes, perhaps he thought it was going to be too late. Thankfully, he didn’t need to do anything at all. Even still, Luke felt that they would both have to soon as the ice wall had already cracked.Vipers raised their rifles, all of them were armed this time around and were ready to shoot at the pair of them. It was only then when Luke felt himself shoot a thick body of water towards the men, knocking them from the side and watching them fall off the bridge and onto the frozen ice below. That didn’t stop the many more that were still coming.

KINETIC WARDEN He looked on, at Nariko, as the body became limp in his grip. The Warden was so focused, he didn't even feel the pieces of shrapnel puncture his skin as the Viper slid to the ground, dead. As his makeshift barrier crumbled, he began to feel the stinging pain of the inflicted wound; though there was no time to complain. He feigned encumbrance, slowly directing his hands to the bleeding wound, whilst dropping down on his knees. He rested his staff on the floor, though keeping the grip tight, seemingly to battle the intense pain he was suggestively feeling. He daren't look toward his foe, if he did, then his cover would be blown, and with it the opportunity for a surprise strike. STARLASS In places like this, Grace had never expected a man so casually dressed to act so calm. Typically, only those dressed in incredible uniforms had the mettle for large-scale assaults, yet here this confident, ponytail-ed man stood. He recognised her as Starlass; a name that hadn't been so casually used for a while now. He must have realised behind the foreign outfit was the same commanding voice and posture, a thought that comforted Grace somewhat. Taking a while, she recalled who the man was, to an extent. She remembered a notable gang under his control, though the evens of three months ago were such a rush, her recollection was hazy. Regardless of her memory, the man still stood before her. She sighed, and began, "It's Gr-" she stopped herself from correcting him. Any other day she would tell him Starlass was gone, ever since her identity was revealed to the city, and indeed the nation. But this wasn't any other day, so it could wait, "...What do you need?" The words were difficult to speak, as they were what she would have said when working for the Tower, at the start of any operation. She wasn't working for the Tower, and this wasn't an operation, but Grace had no idea what to say, so she decided she'd play by the Starlass rulebook in the immediate moment. PROJECT SUPERNOVA | DARKLASS It was official. The unit's creator, The Marshal, had left his station. There was no known directive from Dr. Wolfram, or indeed the impostor, Dr. Cooper. The Darklass project was over. Yet, enclosed in a misty alley, the unit stood, and it felt no power over itself. It stood there, wondering with whatever will it had why it was still functional. Its original function was to wreak havoc as Starlass rested upon her bed of laurels within the famed Tower, though her downfall came quicker than The Marshal had expected. There was surely no use of such a unit anymore, given the circumstances, so it had no purpose. What was a unit without a purpose? Right on cue, an alert jostled its way through to the unit's interface. A series of documents on Grace Scott, one of which being her current location. The fact that these were sent, as well as the thoughts that followed made things clear to it. As a 'parting gift', The Marshal had unshackled the constraints of serfdom from Project Supernova, elevating it to a true AI. To claim it was free, however, would be an understatement. It knew where its loyalties lay: to the man who created and guided it from its very inception. It also knew, perhaps more clearly, what he wanted. The dismantling of Starlass' legacy. The destruction of one of Heartania's most famed beacons of hope. The death of Grace Scott. It walked on, following a synthesized map in its HUD of Ms. Scott's whereabouts, pondering on the ramifications of it all. It was... content to carry out its given mission, and much more satisfied to have a purpose. But it was a lone agent right now. As such, it was its own duty to bestow a name. Project Supernova had been the official moniker of the birth of the Starlass lookalike machine, yet some had referred to it as Darklass. It ultimately decided that it did not care, for the opinions of those soon to be dead were as valuable to it as dust. And dust they would soon become; dust she would soon become.

- CLAUDIA KRAMER - She pushed on the accelerator and continued speeding down the road towards her destination. Mira had started a gathering, but after leaving out the critical EMP part of her warning, Claudia was in no position to give her control, at least not without a serious word. She patched through to the network. "We'll make it back to him in time, hell will raise if we have to." She cleared her throat. "This is operative Kramer to all operatives. Head towards the safehouse in Pacify Hills, this is not a drill. This is a critical emergency, this message will repeat." The driving continued.
- JESSICA PAIGE - She circled the stadium, the music still pounded, but there was no sign of her. "Did you find anything?" "Checked the records, Blythe either isn't here or didn't check in." Worse still, the concert neared the end, meaning there was no way they would be able to conceal themselve is Blythe was here. Jessica's screams were drowned out by the final part of the music, before people started to leave. She took a few breaths, and said, "Let's go home, we'll take care of real business tomorrow." She had been close, too close, but Hatty was fortunately a fool. She'll get her due, and there was still a workplace she would have to go to the next morning. That's where she'll find her, and she'll arrive to work in pieces.

- RAVEN -
The fight raged on and Lilly watched the imposing fortress of a man attack her sword-wielding foe in a battle for blood. She could barely focus on what they were saying, the woman of fire and the Vipers were the main threat at stake. It was to her shock when she eventually saw the imposing figure fall down to their knees, he looked weak, struggling as if this was a battle that he had already lost. Lilly dodged out of the way of an oncoming Viper before she watched a large shard of ice pierce them through their open mouth. Blood continued to spill on the ice and snow, as Lilly looked toward the two again.
She was shocked at the previous blows and punches of their fight, the shotgun to the Viper was something she never expected the villain to fall for. But it seemed at this point, she didn’t give a damn. Lilly, narrowed her eyes at the two before she looked down, a pistol in the dead Viper’s clutches was staring back at her. She wrestled the gun out of their grip, glancing down at it in her hands. Lilly’s gaze turned back on the two before she created another shard of ice, launching them towards the women with a shotgun. Fuck! The word ran through her mind as she grabbed at her shoulder again, the pain was getting worse as she managed to create a rough wall of ice in front of the man on his knees, it wasn’t much but it’d be better than nothing. She stumbled, trying to keep her distance as she grabbed at the still bleeding wound. The pain was only getting worse. and it didn’t help when she felt another bullet pierce through her side, causing her to fall onto the floor.
Another block of ice slowly rose, not enough for her to stand and be safe, but surely enough to barely crouch beneath, which Lilly proceeded to do. She couldn’t keep creating these ice walls like this, moving was becoming hard enough and Lilly gazed down at her newfound bullet in her side, horrified that the bullet was still lodged in there. She broke off a shard of ice and looked down at it, and then back at the bullet. This was going to hurt.
