Monica stared at Kramer for a few moments, rubbing the bridge of her nose with her thumb and index finger. I'm exhausted. Her mind cried out, but she pushed on, the building stress and the ever-increasing amount of work were mounting up on her but Monica pushed forward either way. She sighed, "Ms Chase, Ms Kramer, come with me to the security room, and Kramer please walk in front of us."

CLAUDIA KRAMER Shit, the cameras. She didn't have much choice. She could quickly run and lock down the vault, but the door would be too slow and even if it succeeded, Monica knew how to get out of a tight situation. The network was in danger of being compromised, and the Chaser assets she needed were only likely half way up the corridor. She would need to buy time, but she was out of options. She simply turned around and said, "please follow me. Just upstairs." She went through the door and awaiting in the elevator.

- Jade Blythe - “A-are you sure…” But then she held back her words and shook her head- even if Starlass was in the awful state she was in, she wouldn’t have offered to carry her if she wasn’t capable or stubborn enough to make the flight. The thought of flying over the waves and cliffs Jade had almost plunged into earlier was a scary one, but this time she pushed the idea aside and lingered to the hope that whatever future waited for her would be better than her (hopefully) soon-to-be forgotten past. Rising from the bed, she picked up her small suitcase with her hand and the box of files with her telekinesis, nodding as she approached Starlass and Alex with anxious steps. “I-if you’re sure you can carry me.. Yeah, I’m ready.”
~ Snowflake ~ Completely dumbfounded by the sight of Felix, Snowflake didn’t even react as Hunter slipped away quicker than a mouse from a cat. The push in her side sent her down and literally grounded her to reality, as she was faced with letting her only lead on Crimson get away or catch her brother before he escaped (yet again?). ’What the fuck is going on?!’Gritting her teeth in anger she sent a glare after the running man and decided; a living brother should be the priority than a… whatever he was to her. Getting back up on her feet she focused on Felix scaling the wall, watching the annoying critter reach the edge of the flat roof only seconds after he had come into her sight. With ice forming underneath her feet, she pulled the same feat when faced with the Citadel walls the previous day; rising upon a pillar of ice, she ascended to the rooftops half a minute later than her brother, and, upon peering over the edge, she saw someone she did not expect to see.

Ali was back in the Tower clean but crumpled for all the rest she had managed. She would have stayed away from this place if she had somewhere else to go but everywhere else she knew no one and it would all feel too crushingly lonely. Right now she needed people around, a task to do, the feeling of life to swallow her whole so she could allow the day before to pale a little even if it would never be forgotten.
Her eyes scanned the floor levels following the numbers and instructions the receptionist had given her.
"Not this door, two more down and ahah!" She muttered to her self as she came across a decidedly medical looking area with clean surfaces and the smell of ample levels of disinfectant.
She peered around the door knocking as she did and looking for anyone to help. Ali had wanted to come here to find out about reports on what had gone on yesterday, whether she still needed to help.
"Hello anyone there? Erm i'm Ali or the.. ahem Sanator." She sighed her old title out. "I was told I could find out some bits about yesterday here."

APOLLO | Jay Hearne Kathy's - Morning "I suppose so, yeah" Jay grinned, ushering over a member of staff. The woman that approached their booth was short, frail-looking, but seemingly infinitely dignified. She exuded self respect and commanded respect from all around her. Kathy was forever amiable and a friend to all. Though as she approached Jay she frowned and stopped, not having seen him since... "Nice to see you, Jarvis, son," she grimaced, lowing her head slightly, "Awfully sorry to hear about what happened to your mama." "Thank you," Jay spluttered, remembering again for himself what had happened and fighting through the pain, "Could we... um... get some food please." "What do you think this is?" she snapped at him, "A diner?!" Beat. "I'm just messing with you," she smiled, perking up to her usual exuberant self. She'd genuinely frightened Jay for a moment there, him having forgotten her sense of humour after spending to much time away from this place. Quickly, Kathy produced a small notebook and clicked her pen, ready, "Of course! So what can I get you and your ladyfriend?" She turned to look to Haley for a response.

Haley watched Kathy amiably a show of respect sparkling in her eyes. It was obvious from what she could see that this was a woman who earned what she wanted and did not respect what came for free.
"Hi i'm Haley... Well let's see, coffee for us both a ham and cheese panini for Jay with a pain au chocolat for me."
Haley gave a small nervous smile as she spoke, her eyes crinkling slightly as she didn't quite shrug through her requests. She felt a little awkward as an outsider when it was clear that these two knew each other but managed to soldier through it by getting the practicalities of their order down.

APOLLO | Jay Hearne Kathy's - Morning "You got it!" Kathy winked, whisking herself off after scrawling down the order, "And don't worry hon, I'm not so scary once you get to know me." As she disappeared behind front of house, Jay laughed, "Thanks. Y'know I don't get how she can be so kind but so frightening. I'd hate to piss her off."
EMMA FITZGERALD Street - Morning Emma continued to press the gun in the man's direction. As she eyed up and down the man ahead of her she first saw the great extend of his injuries; his bandaged and burnt arms, his bloodied and torn clothes, and the blood pouring from the gash on his head which - though having started to clot - still looked horrific. "Why do you have a sword!?" she spat, gasping for breath as she pushed him back to put herself between Edward and the man, "Eddie, stay behind me." she turned back to the man, "And where's your gun?"

"The kindest people tend to be the strongest because they do things rather than just thinking them." Haley replied watching Kathy move back across the diner. It was fun to watch someone who fitted so comfortably into their surroundings.
"And sheesh yes I would not want to piss that woman off. You'd have her fury and all the fury of those that care about her come raining down on you. Scary stuff."
Haley laughed but it didn't quite reach her eyes as brightly as it had done. That was a lie, it wasn't the fury that would be scary, it was that she would deserve it. That she had failed to get away from the black.
"I hope you don't mind me asking but what happened to your mother?" She asked gently her hands carefully placed on the table in front of her. "You don't have to say anything if you don't want to."

Lazarus Dominic Elliot was pointing out a few pieces of data for a few of the doctors working for him, the data had been gathered from the work done last night. He usually did this after they set up triages, to be better prepared for situations they ran into on the field. He glanced up and smiled at Sanator before quickly concluding his small meeting and handing the PDA he was holding to his workers. He walked over to Sanator with a smile and extended a hand, "Sanator, pleased to meet you. I don't believe we had a chance to be introduced with what was going on last night. I'm Dominic Elliot, I run Hephaestus Industries as well as medical here at the Tower." He motioned the Sanator into the medical section with a welcoming arm, "What 'bits' would you be looking for exactly?"

DR ADRIAN COOPER Quick jump, soft landing, on the right spot. He stood up to the view, and towered over the brother of the girl he made a deal with. Blood for the protection of blood, deal was a deal, and it was one he would uphold. The hood and scarf he wore hid the lower part of his face, but the identity was still the same. "You must be Felix," he said, glaring down at the boy below.

Dominic was a tall man dwarfing Ali's height by at least a foot as he approached her holding out a hand. Ali took it in her own giving a firm shake in return all the while analysing the man before her.
"I'm surprised they let me in charge for a bit last night if they had you here back at base, Dominic." She replied honestly. "The bits I want to know are the number of wounded and dead for treatment, the response teams and how they're holding up as well as what support I could give... But what I need to know is what I still need to do. It's been a long time since I was involved in any event like this and i'm rusty on what a hero has to do. For all I know I need to fill out a report in triplicate, then sell my soul to the devil."
She stood leaning partially on her cane as she watched Dominic.

Lazarus Dominic chuckled, "My wife, Sarah, was able to get our machines to pick up most of our activities on the field. So thankfully, we don't have to do too much in the way of manual recording, otherwise I'd have no time on my hands. I believe she's fixing a few things with our vehicles now, on that subject, but we've gotten what they missed written down. Wasn't too much." The doctor walked behind the front desk and pulled out a PDA from the drawer, "I was working at a smaller medical outpost last night, I think you might've stumbled around Sarah on communications, but we had a pretty quiet night in terms of injured, so there wasn't much need to call for more supplies. In terms of dead...well, that's more of a mess, but the police handle most of the dead." He handed the PDA over to the Sanator, "That's the report of last night I gave to my staff, it goes into more detail and it'll give you the numbers if you want to have a read through. In terms of general administration here, we have six vehicles that function as ambulances on call, and then we have three extra if we have a larger incident like last night. I try to rotate my staff out the best I can, so most of the people working last night have the day off." He nodded, thinking if he missed anything, "I think that's about it, dare I ask how you were doing at the main base last night?"

GRACE SCOTT | STARLASS Heartania | The Citadel 2nd December 2063 | Morning Grace nodded toward Alex, gesturing for him to lead the way. He'd need to move out ahead if she were to follow him. She then turned to Jade, and forced a smile to try and reassure her about the whole scenario. "I'll be fine, I did this before with Cooper, remember? You can either climb on my back, or hold on from the front, whichever is best. Choose quick though, I'm eager to get out of here." ELIZABETH CHASE | NEMESIS Heartania | The Citadel 2nd December 2063 | Morning Mourning the tea she had left to go cold in her car, Elizabeth reluctantly walked alongside Monica to the elevator. She could have struck some manner of conversation, but the amateur politicking between the two 'civil servants'. If she were simply looking on objectively, she would have found a self-imagined notion of repressed affectionate feelings for one another via passive aggressive tension amusing. But that wasn't the case. She had come here for a job, and now she was eager to see it through.

- Jade Blythe - Jade gave Grace a tired and slightly anxious smile as she gently placed a hand on her shoulder. “I’ll take the piggyback. The sooner we get out of here, the better.” Stepping behind Starlass she lifted herself up carefully with her telekinesis and placed one arm around the hero’s shoulder, the other hand still clutching the handle of her small suitcase. She sat down on her friend’s back and glanced at the box hovering patiently next to them. “Ready.”
- Felix Norwood - Felix gasped, not out of surprise, but as he was already starting to feel the exhaustion of running, climbing and parkouring for an extended period of time. He responded to Cooper with a hiss before he took a swift leap to the side and legged it past the cyborg, relying on the adrenaline coursing through him to help him past the newest obstacle in his path. Whatever the half-machine wanted, he certainly did not look friendly.
~ Snowflake ~ “Stop him!” Snowflake yelled towards Cooper as she jumped over the edge onto the roof, prepared to start skidding after the little youngster. She had no clue what was going on or why her younger brother was here; but he sure as hell wasn’t going to get away from her again.
- The Puppet Servant - ’This could be troublesome.’
