- Charm - She was abouth to let the energy decay and dissapair as the car got closer. Ofcouse, she probably did not what to make a to big mess, she just whanted some small fun. And whit that she released all remaining power she was carying in her boody up on the car, not directly the driver. The impact would probably kill the battery of the car whit the amount of voltage going tru it, and of cours the driver would feel tge electrisity, but that would not even be damaging for any human, maybe a child or animal would be somewhat hurt of it. But she was still just standing there on her corner, looking as the voltages ran tru the car whit small sparks jumping on the outside of it.

- The Zap - "What the actual fu-!" First of all, the heating system and the electronics of the dashboard literally blew out from the flashy strike of electricity. The particles of ice on the car's exterior assisted in sending the electricity over the car's metal shell and down to its under-carriage and the wheels. Michael tired to remain calm, but the vehicle swerved into the green fencing of the street's fence-meridian. His seat-belt and airbags helped in saving the man from injury. The car was dark and cold, but the man stayed in the vehicle. He was scared of going outside, his car could be electrified for all he knew and the person who flung lightning at him appeared to still be in the vicinity. "Two can play at this game." Michael muttered under his breath. After a moment, he flung his door open and rushed outside with his super-speed, the ice was slippery and he fumbled into a parked car. Even more irritated, Michael conjured an electric ball within his right palm, but the numbing cold was getting to his fingers. Everything felt slowed down, the cold was certainly not a speedster's friend.

- Charm - Charm was almost laughing at the scene in front of her, whit the electricity not beeing to a lever of blowing the car to pices it result was stil more than satefying. ANd seeing the person more or lest just stugle as he ran out of the car did not help ceeping her hysterical laugh hiden. Whit a more than confident attitude she calmly walked to him stopping not taht far from him. "Having some problems there hony?" she called out whit a voice that was somewhat flirty, and not that terrefying as she normaly sounded. All the time she was looking at him, or maybe more at the ball of elecetry in his hand. This would be much more fun than if she had been able to blow the car up, all she was able to see in the man in front of her was a walking battery charger...

- The Zap - "Honey? Sorry, not my type. I'm into quiet, reserved girls...y'know, opposites attract." Michael joked, feeling his self-confidence rise over his silly electricity pun...though he did just cut off any further relationship with the fine woman in front of him. The cold was beginning to numb his ears and fingers, and he could feel goosebumps on his skin. He should have dressed warmer, and was cursing his folly. Michael pointed his hands out and fired a bolt of jagged, bright blue electricity at the woman. He wasn't thinking right, firing electricity at a person who had quite obviously chucked some back at him only recently. Also, the icy outside was a bit bad for his speed, he'd need to find a way to counter-act it.
- Sin Shaman - Sin-Shaman and Black Bird carefully navigated over the disaster zones of the city's hardest hit areas. It seems like an army had stormed through here and taken care of the convicts after the region was pillaged and evacuated. All was deadly quiet and blanketed by hard-packed snow. "Ugh, I really need a better way to travel. The great frost is quite annoying, and it seems like all is well for now. To be honest, this entire event just repulses me. Ugh, and the insistent noises!" Sin-Shaman cried out to no one in particular. She brought one hand to her fore-head and let out a long, deep sigh. Her voice became soft, almost somber. "The wicked know no rest. Now their spirits fester, and their souls spawn evil. The library is up ahead, it'll have what I need. Black Bird, feel free to peruse my arcane compendiums and tomes. I don't believe you're magically adept, so why not establish a foundation of the basics? Well, you could try." the woman remarked, remembering the extremely demanding studying and practice she went through to learn of sorcery.

- Starlass - "What are we going to do about this creep?" Starlass sighed. Her ally was eager, but he lacked the discipline needed for hero duty. "There's not a lot we can right now. She's out of our reach at the moment, but someone like her will undoubtedly show herself again in the future. The really bad ones always do. For now, all we can do is focus on getting Heartania back on its feet." Edison wasn't particularly happy with that answer. The woman who had led the attack had, after all, both directly and indirectly murdered countless innocents. For a hero sworn to protect those very innocents, every life lost is a failure. But Edison wasn't foolish, and knew that in the greater scheme of things, Starlass was both his leader and more knowledgeable on the topic, so he simply nodded, a hint of disappointment on his face. Starlass stepped off the edge of the roof, continuing to hover level with it. "See who's still around here, round them up, and help Nimbus with Cooper. I need to get back to the Tower and check the full extent of the damage." With that order issued, Starlass took off gently into the horizon, headed for Heartania' city centre. - Ares Warbander - "Are you certain that there's no way I can aid these people?" Ares stared out the window, waiting for Pathfinder to answer him. The gang leader was clearly mulling it over carefully. So he is willing to let me try, at least. Good. His mind drifted to the duel with the cyborg in the mall. He was furious with himself, not necessarily for losing but for putting up so little of a fight. In hindsight, his opponent had predicted his every move and manipulated them accordingly. Ares should not have fallen for the technique, but he must have been so lost after the ambush that at the time he was blind to the trickery. At the very least, it won't happen again. If we ever meet again... I will be a worthy opponent. Ares was snapped out of his train of thought by Pathfinder's voice. "Look, here's the deal. If you tag along with me you'll slow me down, and sink Anna's chance of survival. I don't trust you, like, at all, but since you're practically begging I'll give you a chance. Go north from here, take the second right then the first left. There should be a patrol there to stop you. Tell them I sent you, and that you're here to help. Do everything they tell you. Even if it means being tied up somewhere so you can't hurt us any more than you have, if you want to repent then you'd best get real friendly with the Rooks. If you defy any of them, I will find out, and i'll send you packing - that, or kill you myself." James stared hard into Ares' eyes. He made himself as clear as he possibly could. "Do you understand me, Leonidas?" Ares nodded silently. "Good. Now, I need to get out there and stop wasting my time with you. Get on your way, go reclaim your honour, or whatever. Oh, and good luck... if I know the Rooks, you'll need it." he added with a vicious grin, then left the house, disappearing down the street in a blur. Ares stood up, walking to the front door. His sword was still sitting outside, leaning against the wall. Excalibur glinted in the sunrise, giving off a cool blue glow. Ares took up the weapon, holding it loosely at his side, and made his way out through the snow, following Pathfinder's directions. What will they have in store for me....

- Knight - The Knight took a deep breath as he prepared to ascend once more. Stretching one leg back, Blake bounced forwards; activating flight mode and taking off. While flight was fast, Blake had admitted to himself that it was boring. He was tired, he hadn't slept for two days, had taken on a truck and two prison wings full of armed thugs and had been thrown into one of said prison wings in the same day. Blake was wary, while adrenaline pumped through his veins he was afraid. Would the law come after him? He was told to visit the HPD, but the HPD was no more. He still owed them twenty-something years as punishment for saving the lives of a few hundred people. Could the Tower be of any help? He doubted it. To them he'd be a necessary sacrifice to avoid provoking a war. Nevertheless, the Pursuer corps were dangerous, following the orders of extremists. Though Blake feared for his life, he didn't regret stopping the Pursuer. It was his job; it was necessary. He shuddered at the though of all of the people in that crowd; dead. Blake's eyes grew wary, his intelligence was far beyond his years and so came the burden of a crippling sense of realism, or arguably cynicism. Quickly, Blake shook as he noticed his energy levels begin to slowly decrease as he grew distracted. That wouldn't usually be a problem but flight required a constant stream of energy. Now focused, energy levels were quickly full. Eventually Blake arrived at the foot of the Tower. He approached the font door only to realise the obvious; it was on lockdown. Embarrassed, he activated his communicator. "Starlass." he said, "I don't mean to be a bother but... how do I get in to the Tower?"

- The Dark Hawk -
Allyana was soaring through the air. Building rushed past below her as well as the ruins, fires and torn up streets. A city like Heartania was a place where nothing bad used to happen and in a matter of days it had dissolved into almost nothing. Somehow and somewhere, villains have been plotting and yet they were so hard to fight back against compared to the old days. Maybe it was the sheer force of what they did this time. They had a lot more equipment or maybe it was the large amount of them all working together. She had no idea. The Tower was approaching quickly and so Allyana descended towards the ground. She saw The Knight in his shining armour. Quite literally, except for the fact he wasn't her's. Although a pesky pigeon decided to fly straight into her side and she looked back towards a cloud of feathers. Staring at it and trying to pin point where the hell it went, she wasn't concentrating on the fact she was landing, faster than anticipated too. This resulted in the collision between her and her very briefly made friend 'The Knight', causing them to both topple over into the front door. Rubbing the top of her head, she stood up and said a simple, "Sorry..." followed by "Do you know where the hell that pigeon I just hit went?"

- Knight - Bewildered, Blake felt incredibly embarrassed. Rubbing his upper-right arm he quickly jittered, looking Dark Hawk in the eye, "It's o- no I'm- um... sorry." he smiled, before realising she had said something else, "Pigeon?" Blake kissed his teeth, he confidence returning to normal after his flustered self began to calm down. He looked to the sky and then quickly around the ground. "Beats me." he chuckled.

- Shade - The stream of smoke began to twist into a cone, swirling into a tight spiral that disapated rapidly. With an anguished howl from Shade, the stream was stopped when a spike burst from the wound and filled the empty socket. The new appendage drove itself through everything in its path as it erupted forwards, before twisting voilently. Finally, it settled, and as mist fell from it it took the shape of an arm, perfectly formed. It's possessor shuddered, and went limp. - Argent Mind - "Who are you? How do you-" "Don't get angry, Alfred. You do yourself harm." Marshal Maleficus cut the hero off with a rebuff. "You'll find out who I am, at some point I'm sure. As I'm sure you've realised, I'm hard to read." As much as Argent Mind hated to admit it, his foe was right. Despite his best efforts, he simply couldn't learn anything from the villain's mind. There were very few people who could do that, and it was immensly disconcerting. "No. This ends now." He spat, and launched a thrust of telekenetically power. It struck the Marshal in the chest, smashing him to the floor with a heavy crash. The villain struggled up, shaking his head. "No. This doesn't end until I say so." He raised his arm and a beam of light shot forward. Argent Mind raised a barrier to deflect the attack... And the beam passed right through like he had tried to fight a bullet with paper. When it connected with the venenable hero, he felt his energy, his strength, his leaving him. He struggled with all his might, but he was unable to stop himself slumping to the ground, entirely disabled. Maleficus chuckled. "Sorry, old man. I'm in charge this time." He turned his back, and walked away, leaving the hero to watch ineffectually from his crippled position on the floor. "Wh..y..." He managed, finding even speaking beyond him. As the world went dark, the last thing he heard was Maleficus taunting reply. "That's something you can wait to learn, Alf. Until next time, my dear friend..."
- Hammerfist -
Jason placed his hand against the wall to steady himself. In his shock, he didn't notice when it cracked slightly under his tensing muscles. "You're alive? But I saw you die! I thought I failed you!" He gasped, trying to whisper as to avoid disturbing his family. "Uh.... The place is lovely... Thank you for that... We're fine. Where are you? Are you alright?"

- The Broker - "No Jason, I failed you. I should've been more considering." The Broker took a moment to watch Shade twist and distort as her arm came back. When it stopped, he looked at her and smiled comfortingly, hopefully she saw that. He refocused his attention on the phone. "I guess that means I need to stay away from the alcohol." He leaned forward and took a deep breath. "I'm with some familiar faces, and Fixer's gone. He won't be working with me anymore." He took a look at Lilly. "Listen, are you still free to work? I have a friend who could do with some on the call protection, my tab."

- The Broker - "No no no, Jason. Don't blame yourself. I'd have done the same thing. I'm just glad you're doing fine in the Hills." The car was pulling up, coming to a stop. "I'm going to forward you a friend's number, she's a little concerned about her family and would like some protection. If you get called in, 10k on me per job." There's a knock on the window, someone official. "I've got to go, but give my friend a quick call so the two of you can get familiar with each other...oh, and turn the television to channel 1. I'll see you around." He hung up before snatching Lilly's phone and scanning through it. "Forgive the rush my dear but you should be receiving a call soon. Jason's a good man, a family man, hard working." He sent the number to Jason before giving Lilly her phone back. He pointed to the television screen by the car. "Channel one, give it a watch." The car door opened, and the Broker stepped out. - Frequency - Frequency kept plucking the strings of the guitar, now getting back into the rhythm of things. The television was turned onto the news and she wanted to know the extent of the damage. Catastrophic, but she was glad half the council was safe. "And now, a word from the High Council Spokesman" said an announcer on the screen, as a scarred man took to the stage in front of a camera crew and small crowd. "Citizens of Heartania. The last few days has seen catastrophic events shake the city to it's very core. From the chaos, from the terrorist attacks, to the unexpected invasion, it is clear that the city is in dire need of help. The recent corruption scandal surrounding Lieutenant Colonel Michael Paige, and his key connections to the higher members of your council have indeed brought many questions to us." Frequency leaned forward, she saw that unfold, the documents, and the riot. Interesting. "The High Council has decided to complete discharge all council members, and restructure the government under a singular figure under the title 'High Chancellor'. Ladies and gentleman. I come here today as that chosen individual, and I will do what it takes to get the city back on it's feet." Frequency could hear some ruckus and shock from the crowd, though nothing dangerous. "Furthermore, I am activating The Citadel, and it will serve as the government's base of operations until further notice. The heroes in The Tower will be contacted with instructions so that the city can get running again. Civilians of Heartania, keep your heads high, and your spirit strong, for I am confident that those responsible will be brought to justice." The man walked off stage and Frequency rushed out of her coach. She walked up to her manager and said "I'm going to The Tower. They should have some medical facility that could get me back on stage by tonight." She lightly taps on his head, before strumming the guitar and made her way towards the Tower. She arrived, and oddly enough there was a queue. - The Broker - The Broker climbed back into the car and smiled. The car started moving, and he asked "what did you think? Do I look good on stage?"

- Raven / Hunter - "What?" Lilly asked somewhat confused at Broker as he moved into the back of the car, seating next to her. She had been watching the broadcast on her phone. "Wait, you're going to have to explain this. How did you- What did you do?" She looked at Broker, shocked, confused and impressed. However looking back at her phone, she realized something stupid of her. "One second, hold that thought." She scrolled down and called someone else. Luke had made it to the apartment, and found nothing. It was still in disarray since their last fight, and it seemed every item would remind Luke of Lilly. The broker window, the dripping water that were once icicles. He fell onto his couch, though oddly enough he didn't feel sad. He felt like he had done, years ago. Numb, so numb that he was simply not bothered and uncaring concerning the rest of the world. He simply closed his eyes and waited, hoping to sleep and in the back of his mind using whatever false hope, to know that wherever Lilly is, that she'd be okay. But he knew that would never happen. As his body and mind begin to feel more weary and tired than ever before, something vibrated in his pocket. Luke sighed in bitter frustration, reaching down and answering an 'Unknown' call. "Hello?" Luke greeted in a gravelly and despondent tone. He seemed to hear a sigh of relief and oddly enough it sounded like... "Luke! It's me, Lilly. Oh my goodness. Are you okay? I'm so sorry, I was meant to come towards the house but things got hectic and-" Lilly paused to breath a sigh of relief. "I'm just. I'm so sorry. There's a lot to talk about, and I just realized I had your number from years back. Anyway, are you okay? Did anyone get to the house?" Luke so far had been feeling this was too good to be true, letting out his first smile in a long time as he simply sat and listened. Though in the pits of his stomach guilt resided, as Lilly asked him questions. "L-Lilly, I'm so sorry, I went out looking for you and Kay- Kay-" Luke stopped, and wondered if he could continue on. He drew in sharp breaths, as Lilly simply waited. Now that Luke was saying it, he couldn't believe he left Kay alone out there. Half-heartedly abandoned them, in their time of need and the guilt was almost killing him. "This is all my fault. I'm sorry. W-Where are you? Are you hurt?" Lilly asked promptly, as she gazed towards The Broker with a worried expression. "I'm in my apartment, I'm fine. I'm fine," Luke lied, though he was physically fine, though his mind was what truly suffered. Lilly gulped. "I'm coming to get you. We'll talk this out, and we'll get through this," Lilly concluded as her finger was tracing her phone. "I love you." She hung up, and sighed as she looked at The Broker. "Sorry. Now what did you do?" Luke placed his phone next to him on his couch, sighing as he did so. Yet he was still tired and found himself pocketing it, reassured now that Lilly was okay, was a blessing. Yet he still wondered whether Kay was okay, as he slowly fell asleep on his couch. - Acchilleus - Acchilleus stepped off the boat and onto the docks, breathing in the air of Heartania. He smiled as he did so, and his assistant stepped off the boat with him. Both waving and thanking the sailor, Acchilleus turned to his assistant. "I trust my driver had no problem getting here," Acchilleus half-asked as he began walking towards one of the nearby roads with his assistant close to his side. "No sir, they will be here soon," The assistant replied, Acchilleus smiled and thanked him as a limousine slowed down in front of them both. Acchilleus was surprised, having a limousine drive through the almost destroyed city of Heartania was no minor feat, and thankfully he had a driver who had been with his family for years and not with the Council. The assistant held the door open to Acchilleus, allowing him to step in. The soft comfortable leather chairs greeted the two of them as they finally relaxed. "Where to, sir?" The driver asked. Acchilleus thought for a moment. "My home. I need to reorganise and redress if I want to meet the Council again," Acchilleus smirked, using his good charisma to hopefully get the driver to chuckle and place most in a good mood. However the driver remained grim-faced and exchanged a look with the assistant before clearing his throat and shifting in his seat uncomfortably. "Sir, I think it would be best if you checked the news," The driver concluded as he began driving towards Acchilleus's luxurious penthouse which somehow and perhaps suspiciously, stayed intact alongside the rest of the building. Acchilleus nodded and whipped out his smart phone. A blessing from a good friend of his, Sam Jones, who ran a company designing new mobile phones. Though Acchilleus had lost his good friend, and much better smart phones came out. Their latest model was decent in the market and it served as a reminder of his friend. Acchilleus had searched up the news on Channel One, and watched a speech, his eyes narrowing. "Driver," Acchilleus noted as he pocketed his phone. His voice sounding somewhat gravelly, and fury laced his every word. His driver took a glance in the rear-view mirror and was surprised to see Acchilleus look so calm, if a little annoyed at anything. "Yes, sir?" The driver responded in a questioning tone. "Drive a bit faster please," Acchilleus informed, as his fists clenched. "I'd like you to wait outside, and find out where this Citadel is, if you don't already. We'll be heading there by tonight." The driver nodded. "Yes, sir," He replied and the limo notably began to speed down the road faster as the assistant sent a worrying glance towards Acchilleus, who peered outside the window, fuming with anger. His plan changed. His whole idea changed. He knew now that Heartania wasn't a place to plot anarchy. That only sent fools into power. What it needed was the opposite.

A gang member turned and looked down the street a man was walking down the street. Already odd that anybody was on the streets, as many civilians were still frightened and hunkered down in their homes. The Rook recognized him though. The rook wore a hooded sweatshirt and a winter jacket. The hood was up, as it was still cold in the city. He held a machine pistol, stolen from the van that Reaver had unwittingly sent through their territory. The stock was extended and he was ready to open fire on just about anything that moved. The building he stood in front of had a red cross painted on it - it was the hospital for those who were injured. The Rook brought the machine pistol to his shoulder and pointed it at Ares, "You're a fool for coming back here. Don't move, and tell me what the hell you want before I put a few rounds into you." - Lazarus / Athena - Lazarus looked up as another person was brought in by civilians. He was tired, along with the other doctors. They were still in the garage, and they had been working almost nonstop, only taking breaks when completely necessary. The garage probably wasn't exactly sterile and didn't have the cleanliness of a hospital, but they could still save lives, even if they were risking the infection of the patients. It was better than nothing. He paused as the man was put on a stretcher. It was Cooper. Lazarus walked over and took charge of the stretcher, Dominic knew that he or Sarah were the only people who knew how to fix the advanced engineering that Cooper had implanted himself with, if anybody. Dominic would have felt more emotion, but he was simply mentally drained for the day. He had seen a lot - almost too much. He was used to seeing injuries, as he'd worked in the ER for a short time, but never so many severe injuries in one day. He motioned for an assistant to come over, quietly mumbling some instructions for meds and treatments to stem Cooper's bleeding for the time. The nurse nodded and inserted a needle into what remained of Cooper's actual body, before hooking it up to an IV. Dominic went to the second floor of the garage and shook his wife awake. He had convinced her to get some rest after she had broken down seeing the victims of a building that had been raided by armed convicts. Not many were able to be saved, as they had been rounded up and most had been shot at point blank range, they had only joined the already growing amount of dead covered by body bags at the back of the garage. Sarah had little experience in emergency situations, her career had always been more focused on research, and she wasn't used to seeing injured men, women, and children in such a magnitude. Sarah woke up with a start, bleary eyed and confused. She looked at Dominic, "Is it over? Please tell me it is." Dominic hesitated, he hated stressing her out like this, "I'm sorry sweetheart, it's not quite over. I need your help with Cooper. I can save him, but he relies on his augmentations for his body to function properly and completely, and only you can fix those. Athena sat upright, slowly. The images of those she had seen essentially executed, especially the few children, kept going through her mind. She buried her face in her hands, trying to erase what she had seen, though they wouldn't go away. Dominic embraced her gently. He felt the same way as her, but he had had time to develop a skill in suppressing his feeling to do his job correctly, Sarah had been thrown into the situation instantly and without warning. There was quiet between the couple before Sarah finally looked up again. Her eyes were red, and the area below her eyes were noticeably dark. Like the others, she was stressed and tired. She put on her boots, which had lay beside the makeshift bed she had been sleeping on, and made her way downstairs with her husband, both talking quietly - supporting each other. They reached Cooper and began to work, carefully and with what little focus they could keep. Dominic patched the wounds that were causing heavy bleeding, while Sarah worked on restoring proper function to Cooper's augmentations, as some wires had been cut, putting certain limbs out of order and such.

- Blackbird - She was silent while they moved, but some kind of newfound joy was making her have this small, reserved smile. And she lisend to Sin-Shaman's every word, even if not every word had a direct meaning for her, but it was not unknown to her. Some times she was tasting some of the words, like it should help her in a way to she the big picture behind what she was told. And she often noded, she figured things she did not fully understand would revil itself in time, becaouse all she was told did make a sence to her anyway. She also more ofthen looked at Sin-SHaman than the road they where walking on, she did not look like every other human, she was somewhat different. "You are pretty" she said whit a quit low voice, unsure if she was alowed to think her difference to other humans was a pretty thing. - Fear - She was camly whaiting near the entrece of the tower fot it to open its doors for people again. She was taking inn the air, and just looking around as more and more people came crouding to the place. And it was not hard to see that most of the people was som of the esabliced heroes of the city. A feeling was creaping in her bounds as she did not really belive she was on a a level that would help to begin whit as her power was more of an evil intended one. So she did ceep her distance from the others for now, stil standing there whit a proud positure who always hid what was on the inside. - Charm - SHe more or less just laught of his statment of her not beeing his type, she was ofcourse not interessted to begin whit, had just been trying to be nice. Not that anyone whanted her to be nice to them, her way of nice was twisted to begin whit. Her laugh only got more intence as he sent the electrical ball at her, and whit somewhat open arms she let it hit her, jus apsorbing it inn to her boody, an secounds later her fingertips started jumping bright sparks inn between them. "I'm sorry, but that wont do..." she said whit a mimicing sad voice before going closer to him, knowing her aura of fussy feeling would surond him, the power people had given her her name. "So Im Charm... May I know the name of the walking charger, or should I just think of you as an batteri?" Her voice was somewhat normal way of nice, not that it made her look any less unstable...
