Having read the rules thread, I noticed the rule of "No bumping threads." This is understandable of course, however I was wondering if there were some leniency towards double posting in certain threads, such as the YouTube Channels and Arts sections. By implementing this rule across the entire site, creators who have not had replies on their threads since their last post will be unable to update any of their work, therefore jeopardising their self-advertisement. Is there any way around this issue? Kind Regards, One (cross) user!!!!!1

Of course, on promotion/submission threads like those, the bumping rule is not so harshly enforced. If you have new content to share, then you definitely can double post. However, if you are bumping for the sake of advertisement, not promotion (I.e - posting without new content to purely say 'hey look here'), then such a post will be merged. If you want to bring up a discussion on your thread without adding new content, there's always the shoutbox (use responsibly).
Hope that cleared up your question, and sorry for any previous ambiguity.
