I felt like it was an appropriate time to put this up, given how close we are getting to the 23rd. Being such a huge topic, and considering how vapid the debate has been on a national level, it might be nice to have some good discussion between ourselves on the 'Brexit' (I despise that term) debate. A poll will be added for you to cast your own mock vote, and we'll see which side Virtue Forum would swing to as a whole (even if you're a non-UK/EU citizen, feel free to join in), and then contrast it with the result in 2 week's time. The options will be simple yes/no, and I would encourage you to discuss why you are where you are on the matter, and engage with those who may disagree with you. Might even change a few peoples' minds! Be respectful though guys, and try to have fun.

referendum? more like referendumb
Ooh get rekt.
On a serious note, I'm more inclined that we don't leave, mainly because it's pretty clear that this is the favourable outlook by almost everyone (though trust me, politicians and news outlet CLEARLY are not pushing their agenda on staying in EU at all, obviously), and also I'm not really inclined to trust our government, as of right now. I know that's not really great to say, but I think it's better if we leave our ties within the EU and focus on improving things for ourselves in different ways, as opposed to simply leaving the EU and magically hoping our economy gets better (which, though I acknowledge there are good reasons for leaving the EU, is the only one I've ever pretty much heard from people I ask about this and why they think we should leave - well except you, but still, that and immigration).

referendum? more like referen dumbI agree wholeheartedly I'm not really inclined to trust our government Again (though a bit more seriously), I agree. Not only do I not think they have a good ideology, but they're so ineffective that it's frankly laughable. As you kind of mentioned in your post, I would have loved for the UK to leave the EU, because there are so many fundamental issues with it that I don't think can be solved, and crimes that cannot be forgiven. However, I'd much rather stay in and essentially have a second bloc to a insane Conservative government, than unshackle the likes of IDS, Boris Johnson, and of course, Nigel Farage to do what they like. Though it doesn't matter (seeing as I'm not old enough to vote), I started off believing we'd be better off out, but the Leave campaign itself managed to switch me to the other side. Admittedly, now the Remain camp is being a bit more fired up, they are winning a lot more arguments for me personally, but still: good job, leave lads; real good job.

Oh how wrong we were...
Anyway, now that this thread has served it's purpose, I'm gonna go right ahead and close it. Thanks for taking part. =)
