- The Broker - "If Lilly's head is thrown at the gates, then who would really care? As long as people don't hate The Citadel, then it was worth it." "I can think of a couple of people who would really care." Her bitter diatribe, her 'ends justify the means', the reasoning was almost disgusting. "Do you know what it's like having an older sister taken away from you? Despite trying to help that she would be killed by some higher power? I'm not sure if you do but I certainly do." His voice, still cold. "I wholefully admit I went too far with Snowflake, but that was then and this is now." He coughed a little. "Personally I am shocked at how you presumed I would authorize a guns-glazing attitude towards the Vipers, and even if our enemy says that 'we're the provokers', it wouldn't matter, because no one would want to side with a crew that has a tetchy and violent history." "You want to know why I kept Lilly within these walls, why I wanted Luke to stay? It's because he and I know the agony of losing a sister and he and I know to experience it again could completely break us...and now you have given them a valuable asset." He kept his eyes locked at this creature. "In your very words, you said in order to defeat the enemy we need to keep feeding them a healthy diet. A wise man would think you're in direct communication with them, actively willing to sabotage our efforts."

- The Queen of Roses - "Of course people care. But I care more about my own family, and securing this position is the only way I'm going to keep them safe. I don't care who gets hurt along the way. You might call that cold, I call it reality. The fact is you can't control every single move I make. I'm risking everything to benefit this place, which benefits you," Mira explained, gulping as she glanced back and forth between The Broker and the cold floor. The truth was, the guilt of Mira's actions was killing her. This wasn't what she wanted to do, but she was painting the perfect picture. The Broker and soon anyone else who heard of her actions would brand her a traitor, which is exactly what she wanted. "Don't make me regret it." She added.

- The Broker - "Except...I can". Dear god what am I thinking!? The Broker leaned back into his chair, more relaxed. "It seems your way of benefiting this place it to take away one of the most important assets it has." He took out his tablet and scrolled through the records. "The fact that you have been dodging answers, putting rash decisions ahead of logic, lying, and jeopardizing the safety of this city, gives me all the more reason to dismiss you." He looked up to Mira, "and you know what that would mean, outside taking the pill."

- The Queen of Roses - "You wouldn't," Mira crossed her arms. "You know I'm smarter than half the people you've got here, and you know what would happen if word got out that you dismissed me." Mira narrowed her eyes, things weren't meant to get this close to dismissal. She made a bad judgement call, maybe The Broker was more stressed than she had imagined. However she could turn this around. She had to. Part of her wished she could simply explain things to The Broker, but at the same time, Mira knew that it wouldn't work, something would go wrong or someone would hear and everything she worked towards would be gone. "If anything you can just demote me to some office job like handling which Wastelander is taking a holiday or isn't. You can't dismiss me entirely."

- The Broker - "It appears underestimation is your biggest character weakness, something displayed throughout the entirety of our conversation." His words were cold but painful, something he didn't want to say but logic and duty are dictating him. "You thought you wouldn't be caught, yet here we are, you thought you could get away with promising hope, yet here you are." His tablet pulled up a profile with a giant red button at the bottom of it. He turned to tablet around to let Mira look at the full picture. It was her entire profile. Name, age, past jobs, family members, education, income, addresses, a full biography with a cyan boarder around it, indicating that she is a member of the Little Mice Network. It was all here, and the Broker pushed the giant 'dismiss' button. A final window popped up and said 'Are you sure? Yes, no.' "You have proven yourself to be a liability, through your stupid actions and your unwise diatribe. You and I know what will happen if I push yes, so let be the one to ask. This time, no dodging around the answer, no hypothetical situations, none of that." He leaned forward, paying close attention to her expressions. "Why should you stay here?" His finger hovered dangerously against the yes button, close to touching it. "And I would choose your words wisely."

- Kinetic Warden - "Ever considered you're both wrong?" The Warden had been monitoring the situation that occurred close to the hospital from his base of operations. It was interesting to see Argent Mind in action again, he hadn't seen as much in a long time. When he noticed his fellow hero had sustained an injury, he made for the Tower; opting to eavesdrop on the conversation between his former comrades. But he saw no reason to hide for any longer. He stepped closer to the two, his steps echoing neither a confidence or an anxiety; moving with a uniform pattern. When he was within a sufficient proximity, he folded his arms and grimaced. "You know what separates Heartania heroes from Scarlet city ones? Folks here are supposed to be more unified. If two seasoned heroes can't agree on a direction, then the city is as good as fucked," he paused for a moment, letting his words sink in, "it's not our job to theorise. It's our job to help people... or it used to be at least."

- The Queen of Roses - Mira flinched almost as The Broker pressed the dismiss button. Things had clearly gone too far and her next words were going to be the one thing that would either save her family or sentence them to their deaths. All her planning, would be ruined. And everything would have been for nothing. Mira took a moment to try and correct her breathing, to try and calm down and yet when she didn't quell her nerves, it only made her more panicked. She had to think very carefully. "Because I'm the only one who can save us when Acchilleus declares war against you and storms this place." It was the truth, plain and simple. No dodging. No hypothetical situations either. The Broker must have known Acchilleus would want his position, that he was even go as far to declare war. It was the point of her plan. The point of everything she had done, and even though the things she had done were treacherous, it was the only way to make sure Acchilleus was stopped, now or never.

- The Broker - The Broker kept his eyes locked onto her. She was afraid, afraid of the consequences because of her actions. How long would her family last without The Broker's network keeping them out of their enemies eyes? Not long he wondered, and it would send a message. On the other hand, this mole, this person who has risked destroying the city, has access of Acchilleus, direct contact. If she was Acchilleus' mole, she was also The Broker's, and that is a valuable asset to have. He had to weigh his options while he assessed her mood. He might have seen her forehead sweat, maybe some slight shaking, or it was his eyes slightly betraying him, both were possibilities. He sighed deeply, turned the tablet around and pressed the button. He set the device down and held out his hand. "Your phone please".

- The Queen of Roses - It's over. She watched The Broker tap the tablet, and she knew then and there that her family was dead. Looking down at the phone, it was going to be the only last connection she had with her family. She could warn them, she could try and run and meet them, escape together. But Mira knew that wasn't going to happen. And with The Broker reading her messages, tracking her calls, she was going to possibly be imprisoned. Or worse. Everything she had planned for, all of it, gone. Mira looked to the door, she could still escape. She tightened her grip around her phone which she got out of her pocket, in shaking hands. "I can't do that," said Mira, looking towards The Broker and then glancing over her shoulder towards the door. She could still run, get out, get to Capital City and be with her family for however long they last, even if she would die alongside them.
