- The Queen of Hearts - "I suggest you stop, Alice Drake. Surrender, and this will all be over without further violence." Alice lowered her shoulders, sighing. Seconds before jumping she looked to Michelle, "And I was gonna go quietly." she moaned, disappointed. She then ejected back out of the window, pulling one of the nurses out with her and dropping her to her supposed death. As the nurse hurtled to the ground Alice landed on the bag she had dropped before her, which was now hovering courtesy of Oren. Clutching the gym bag tightly and supporting her weight on it she shifted, tossing the bag in the direction of a nearby rooftop. She landed with an oof, pulling the bag out of the air and running, winding in and out of the many chimneys, extractor fans and roof access units. Pursue her, or catch the poor, innocent nurse. Either way; Alice won.

- Bellona Warhammer - "I know those stories all to well Ares." She sighed. "I use to read them all the time. All those powerful women in stories, women who conquered tribes and clans. My namesake, Bellona, the Goddess of War. The stories of her as a mortal are astounding. She once went to war with 100 men against 1000 men. They won gloriously, all thanks to her brilliant mind and work with a sword. But she was defeated, killed by a cowardly man. The great god immortalized her as the Goddess of War." beat. "Ares the Dragon. A man who vanished, just like you and your clan. Much like me and mine. The old wasteland stories don't apply here Warbander, you can't be a hero like him. No one will remember you. That's the truth of this world, you do something heroic then everyone will end up forgetting about you one day but back in the Wasteland, you do something heroic and great you are immortalized in tales told to your children." She looked him dead in the eyes. "You can't go. It doesn't matter here if you disgrace a name Warbander.". - Oren - Oren quickly fled as well. Unknown to everyone else there. - Lucielle - "No. This is real." She calmly stated as they scurried across rooftops and back allies, she had to slow down considerably due to her being faster than Ryder by miles. "Where should we go then? We need something to do."

- Argent Mind - An innocent falling, a criminal fleeing faster than he could catch her. Perhaps he could give chase, hold her in place... But the cost of a life, it would never be worth it. Argent Mind slowed down, and gently caught the falling woman with his ethereal grasp. As he lowered the victim slowly to the ground, his mind reached out and, without any tact or subtlety, tore into Alice's mind. Clasping all he could lean from her before she got out of reach, his lack of restraint came like a bellowing bull, rattling around the killer's skull and pulling up any dark memory that could be found. Innocent people have died today because you and your friends got greedy. I will bring you down, Alice. I will find you and make you pay. I hope you're ready for our next meeting....

- The Chaser - The woman had fled, running away with the bag of cash and nearly killing a hostage. She was just glad that Argent was around to catch her, but the female got away. This woman....why does her face bother me? She needed to find who this woman was, but even if Argent went to the ends of the earth to find her, he probably won't find Claudia's annoyance. The hostages were fine, they were making their way down the stairs and towards the care of the authorities. Claudia lagged behind, messaging her brother with a request for information. It was likely he had been watching, and gotten Alice's face through the security cameras. She had other matters, she was called to a bar where there was an altercation. Two people dead, one of them an innocent bartender, and another the perpetrator...but the shooter was missing. Her call from Central said that James was there, and there was something she wanted to ask him about, but now that won't happen. He was nowhere to be seen...but his weapon was around. Claudia recognised the firearm, the one the joyous male kept in his person. She picked it up. Well constructed, quite firm, and from the smell of the barrel it has been fired. But the wielder was nowhere to be seen. James had vanished, and his firearm was left behind. - The Broker - The Broker needed to calm down. He was being too blunt, and Compound was politely answering his questions despite the approach. He took a deep breath, and answered, "I'm the High Chancellor, and can you please tell me the measures you have taken to soften the blow?"

- Argent Mind - Argent Mind descended, only now beginning to feel the pain of the wounds Oren had caused him only a short while before. Hitting the ground a little harder than expected, he stumbled, catching himself on a wall. His breath came out in shallow rasps as he felt the strain of using his powers so liberally come back to hit him. It was funny; he was always able to fight on and on without slowing himself, but as soon as he was free from action the age caught up with him. Aches and pains, the result of decades of hurling himself into danger, flared up and, with several new gashes to add to his collection, he would certainly be feeling this one for a while. Shaking his head, he straightened up. "Come on, Alf. You've had worse than this." He muttered to himself with a smirk, before checking his communicator. The Tower had called him, and when given no response, had left a message. Curious, he set it to play into his ear-piece, wondering what could have have happened. Curiosity turned into horror, and then into pain. Argent Mind had never felt his age as much as he did that moment, falling back onto a bench and holding his head in his hands. Maleficus had struck another blow. And there was nothing he could have done to stop it. - Venator - While Argent Mind suffered outside, Venator was taking action. She had barely glimpsed the criminal's escape out the window, but when she did, she reacted as swiftly as possible, warping unseen to the onlookers to the next rooftop. Her target was fast, damn fast, but she didn't know she was being trailed. That was the chance the huntress needed.

- The Queen of Hearts - Unbeknownst to Alice, she had been spotted. From the ground where Alice had been before to prepare the ambulance, Kathryn Rookward - The Venator had spotted Alice's ejection from the hospital on the other far end of the building and had moved to pursue, moving through the crowd with her ability to teleport and taking a place on another adjacent rooftop. However, in this time Alice had already put a substantial gap between the two and was moving at incredible speeds as she sprinted into the distance. Edging over the horizon she leapt from roof to roof, using them as stepping stones to descend slightly before sliding down a wall and onto a fire escape in an alley. From there, she removed her mask and characteristic jacket; stuffing them both into the gym back, and tied her hair back with a yellow band before simply disappearing into the city.

- Hatty Bellcrest - ”Where is Hattie?!” Several of Hammonds’ colleagues flinched as the blonde threw a fit. One of them, the mother of three year old, spoke up. “Didn’t anyone tell you? You are supposed to cover for her!” ”What?! Since when?!” “Since-“ “Gah! I have a dinner date at seven!” Hammonds threw her hands up in the air and trampled out of the office in her red high heels, leaving most of her colleagues in a shock like state. “Why hasn’t anyone told me of this! Just wait until I get my hands on you, Hattie!” -- A red-haired female exited the taxi that stopped outside a nearly finished nightclub. This was one of Benedict Strahm’s most recent purchases, and also the one place where he was likely to be: checking that everything went as planned was the habit every businessman Hatty had ever met, had in common. Nervously she walked up to a man wearing a yellow hardhat and politely asked him where the man in charge was to be found. - La Mirage - “O-of course!” She exclaimed, appearing slightly offended. “I know what my own sister looks like! She has brown hair, hazel eyes, and she was wearing a black trenchcoat..” Jade’s voice started to trail off again as her eyes stayed glued to the screen, “..that night.” And so, they waited. Jade sat still and pondered a question she had been thinking about for a little while; why would Scarlett come to this area of the city in the first place? It’s very unlikely that she went to this area of the city alone. But, most of her friends are back in Capital City, and the few people she knew here in Heartania didn’t even know she was here. It is.. was so unlike her. On the screen, people wandered through the entrance of the Full House casino, most of them just looking to have a fun time on an ordinary night out. Also, she’s not the gambling kind… thinking of it, me being here without anything else than a receipt from a taxi driver is vague at best. Yet, Jade had no other leads to go on. This was her best shot, even though she was grasping at straws. - Snowflake - Snowflake let out a short, surprised gasp. “Inferno! Reaver told me you bailed on us!” She chirped before her voice turned dead serious. “You didn’t, did you?” - Felix Norwood - “Ripley,” he loosened his grip from the concrete surface and reached upwards, digging his claws into the support beam again as he hoisted himself a little higher, “my name is Felix Norwood. What are you doing up here?”

- Inferno - "Me? Bail out? Ha, I'm mean but not that mean, If I had bailed out on you people I would've killed you before I left. Now Snowy, where are you? It's cold and boring out here." She replied in a sickly sweet voice. - Ripley Augustine - "I was napping. I don't have much to do around here cuz all the other heroes are doing all the fun stuff." Ripley had already taken a liking to the boy, who he had estimated to be around the same age as him.

- Benedict Strahm - Some called out, someone called for assistance. Strahm looked over his shoulder and saw a woman. Fairly tall, red hair, and the posture of a professional journalist. "Let me guess. Strahm of Strahm Nightlight, Lord of the dance and devilishly handsome." He chuckled to himself as he walked towards the female and took her hand. "I'm the guy, and I must say it's lovely to meet you." He kissed her hand before holding his hardhat and bowing. "Benedict Strahm, my pleasu--" "OI, SAFETY!" yelled the foreman, to the surprise of Strahm himself. It made him jump, and he fumbled with the hat before successfully placing it back onto his head. He regained his posture and smile and said "Would you like to come to my office for our meeting? Out of the way of the noise?"

- Snowflake- Snowflake chuckled and looked over to Joltz with her eyes squinted. “Well Inferno, things are going to be even chillier over here if you don’t explain yourself to her. We even got a new recruit by the time you were gone! If you still want to join up, just come the co-ordinates I’ll send you in a minute.” - Hatty Bellcrest - -HNN HQ, right after the 12 o'clock news- “He’s outdone himself this time.” The make-up artist, a recently hired and sassy girl from one of the larger cities down south in the US, eyed up the exquisite, carefully handpicked box waiting to be unwrapped. A dark pink bow wrapped around a light pink and a black rose, highlighting just how much effort the sender had put in to decorating it, made the woman send Hatty, who currently was interviewing Ragno on camera, a jealous thought from the dressing room. “Who on earth spends that much money on gift wrapping?” She picked up the note attached to it and read it out loud, causing the women in the dressing room to snicker. “’Sharp thorns produce delicate roses~’ Cliché, as always.” “So we’ve narrowed it down to three possibilities; a rich boyfriend, a rich idiot, or a rich creep,” a second woman sat in a chair, reapplying her make-up, “Come to think about it; she never talks about her family or friends. Does she even have any?” Curiosity overtook female number one as she placed a hand dangerously near the box. “Yeah.. And she’s been getting these presents for weeks, but I’ve never seen her open a single one.” “Do you want to know what’s inside?” A third woman spoke up; she’d been sipping her coffee peacefully in another chair until now. Without delay she rose up and walked over to the messy table where the present had been precariously placed. “..there’s only one way to find out.” A pair of eager hands carefully lifted the lid and revealed its contents, making one of the bystanders exclaim as she peeked into the box: “Oh. My. God.” -- Hatty sighed and turned to Ragno, preparing an apology to excuse the short interview and compliment him on his charisma; however her arm was tugged by a blue eyed brunette who sternly told her that the boss wanted to see her. Hatty smiled calmly, looked back at Ragno and nodded him goodbye before she was off again.

- Ares Warbander - Ares' rage began to subside with Bellona's last words. She was right, naturally. Going out and getting himself killed would get him remembered as nothing more than the coward whose foolishness crumbled a dynasty. "Bellona, the daughter of wisdom. You certainly live up to your namesake, at least." Realising he'd just complimented her, he furrowed his brow slightly to retort. "...but don't think you've won me over just yet. I will not give up on righting my wrongs. I still have my own honour to live up to." He made his way back over to the training yard, picking up the sword he had been using earlier. Taking a deep breath, he focused his field of vision on one of the dummies. Crack - Compound - Edison sat upright in his car seat, clearing his throat. "Ah, uh, Mr. Chancellor. Of course, I, uh... we've got the Tower's resources searching for Grace Scott at this very moment. I've just come off the phone with her family, and I'm about to leave to bring them back here for protection." Ed paused, thinking. Why on Earth would the High Chancellor need to call me about this? Surely he can just get in touch with the Tower directly? "Why do you ask? Has something else come up?" - The Harvester - "He's fine, a little bloodied but definitely still breathing. Put up a bit of a fight against our android friend." Orlando frowned, mulling his words over. "Acchilleus... I'm still not sure if we can trust that one. They were insistent on having me stand back and let them do the work. I have a feeling there's a conflict of interest here." He slouched in against the doorframe, looking up at the sky. A deep crimson was beginning to leak into the blue, painting the streets with a sunset-orange glow. "Just an observation, of course. Emotions or not, they're definitely capable. I guess we can be grateful they're on our side, at least for now."

- Acchilleus - "We can talk about that little 'observation' another time," muttered Acchilleus, growing worried about Orlando's now apparent disdain against Kay. He supposed that something must have happened during the fight. Something that was not centred around Luke Jones, being beaten. "For now, take him to a warehouse, edge of the city, presumably somewhere abandoned. A random building in the city would be too risky. Text me when you get there, and keep an eye on Luke Jones and the other one, I'll get there myself." Trust. I told you didn't I? Warned you about trust. It seems like I can't encapsulate the trust of this walking robot. Maybe The Broker knew what they were doing when they let them leave. A good thing about trust is, the same trust that has him suspicious of Kay, is the same trust that he's telling me this. With that Acchilleus' finger hovered over the familiar red icon, before muttering something or another to themselves. "Is there anything else?"

- Kay - Kay had walked past their new companion into the building as he fidgeted with his phone talking with someone. They did not listen in, there was no real need that they could see to eavesdropping especially when they needed to get the man in their arms secured. They tapped at a grubby door that belonged to the landlord of the building. the sequence of taps was peculiar and after it was completed a key came sliding from beneath the door. Kay slid the key out further with their foot looking back to their companion hoping he would be finished with whatever he was busying himself with and get to picking up the key for room on the third floor. They both needed to focus to bind Hunter before his breathing picked back up into consciousness and to stop his and their wounds. Interrogation was best done softly, threatening or hurting people only led to lies unless that was what you wanted then that could be collected too. - Bloodstream - Sienna was not heading directly back to the warehouse. However much she was enjoying the rush of driving an ambulance she kept her eyes peeled outside for exactly the opportunity she was looking for. Her eyes glistened with joy as she swung the box like shape of the ambulance to pull up cleanly where she needed it to be.

- Inferno - "The co-ordinates are much appreciated, and things get a lot warmer with me around." She hung up. The co-ordinates came about quickly and to her surprise she wasn't too far away from it. Inferno arrived quickly. Entering the hidden base she let out a great sigh of relief, finding Snow's little room with a runt jumping about she gave a quizzical look, "Has Reaver gotten so desperate she's started adopting kids?"
