- RAVEN -
Lilly scowled as the bullets came in their direction, raising the body of water, barely having time to freeze it before some of the shells knocked her back. The piercing sound was all she could hear as the sound of battle and shotgun shells were blurred beyond focus. Lilly felt herself barely able to get up as she moved away from The Broker, this was his battle and there was no way she could fight it being beside him. She was at least thankful for his armour, maybe that could make him last in this. Lilly rested herself on one of the rocks that had risen early on in the battle from whatever powers Acchilleus had. She wasn’t sure, nor could she focus on that right about now as she glanced at the battle.
The fiery woman was still standing nearby, the hero had all but blinked out of existence it seemed like as shotgun shells still transpired into The Broker and his armour. She would flinch if she cared enough, but at this point, Lilly only wanted him alive to make sure that this battle wasn’t lost. She cursed under her breath, trying to wait for an opening.

Pathfinder Pathfinder squinted at the battle going on down at the Citadel, she was right, it was difficult to tell, "Can't say I do, I saw the Tower's medical station on the way here, they're on a road going off from the route going from the Safe Zone to the Citadel. It's risky for them because they could get attacked if the people from the Safe Zone retreat and find them, but it's also the quickest route for other hospitals to send supplies. I'll go check the battle itself though, be a moment." He took a few steps back, then took a running start as he ran down the side of the building. It was always much harder going down buildings than running up them, as it was intimidating to see the ground coming up to meet him. James took a breath to calm himself, then reached the ground, and continued on his way to the battle. He raced around the ground, looking at the surrounding people fighting each other in slow motion from his perspective. He would be hard to notice for the combatants, those who were not distracted by the fight would only see a slightly green blur. In a few seconds from the time he had left the roof, he appeared next to Starlass, the wind pushing the dust and litter on the ground away from him. He looked back at the battle, "Right, unfortunately, I haven't been to the Tower in a long time, too many bad looks, so I don't know everybody. I think I saw Compound heading into the battle, there was a dude made of ice dressed in a Tower uniform, but I don't know who he is. I also saw an old man doing work with a stick, so I'm guessing he's probably Tower. There was also...Sonar I think? He was on the Chinese newspapers I read a while back, got into some shit in Australia if I remember correctly. Some other people too, some girl was flying and so on, but I didn't recognize them." AthenaSarah Elliot heard Sanator's voice at the security station of their medical outpost, a few blocks away from the Tower's main station. The medical team had split up to cover the most ground, "This is Tower medical, security here should be fine for the moment. We had to set up on the Safe Zone's main route to the Citadel to make it easier for supplies to get here, but I think we have enough security to deal with anybody who comes by looking for a fight for the time being. And we can pick up camp pretty quickly if we have to move. We've had a decent amount of people come by for help, and security's had to take down a few stragglers trying to take our supplies. Nothing major though." KlondikeKlondike found himself in an odd spot near the middle of the bridge, surrounded by four or five vipers, who weren't looking particularly kindly at the ice man who had punched one of their friends in the face. One of them swung at him with what looked like a length of pipe. Klondike caught it, causing some ice to chip away a bit. It didn't hurt, but it wasn't good either. Klondike grabbed his attacker's wrist and bent it painfully, breaking it. He yanked the lead pipe out of the man's hand and then pulled the unlucky Viper towards himself and let go, causing him to fly into another Viper who had been about to swing a knife at Klondike's back. While that collision happened, he threw the pipe, hard, at another one, who had been forced to jump back from the man Klondike had thrown. The pipe spun in the air and hit the man in the face, probably breaking his nose as he staggered back from the pain.
Klondike focused on the other man, and he felt a hard gust of wind go by him. Had he been paying attention, he would have noticed a blur appear and disappear, but he was busy with the distracted Viper, who had noticed it. Klondike simply punched him, the ice Blaise was made of was enough to put the Viper out of combat for a while.
Klondike looked around as he heard the Warden's transmission, he paused, and hit the button in the collar of his Tower uniform, "What d'you want us t'do when we find the Chancellor, exactly?"

~ Snowflake ~ Not even a whimper left Snowflake’s vocal chords as she was flung through the air and across the bridge. Under her snowflakes started to rush forth, starting to link together, taking the shape of a the framework of a hangglider, until- Something caught hold of Snowflake’s hand and yanked her out of the plummeting arch she was thrown into. She could feel her ribcage crackle and shift on the inside of her torso, and as she hung by Reaver's saving grace she only wished to scream in pain; but every breath burned her insides, just as precious as they were torturous they granted the little strength she needed to hold on to the villainess who kept her from falling. The half-finished hangglider hurtled vertically but the duo hanging from the bridge was too high up to even hear it drop like a pin to the floor of waves beneath them.
- Felix Norwood - Felix’ eyes watered ever so slightly: he’d never expected to feel such kinship with anyone in his life, but the strange mutant had become his best friend. Felix would even call him brother but if it was possible to be closer than that, that’s what the two of them was. Ripley had showed him what it really meant to be free of his family’s choking expectations, rules and sick morals and just be himself- if only for two brief months. It was two months he’d make sure to never forget, because finally he knew what a relation with a normal person should be like- or at least someone with a rightly adjusted moral compass, someone who for once wouldn’t kill unless it was the last resort. He was a role model, his best friend- and even more a brother to Felix than Snowflake ever would be his sister. That’s why, when Felix pulled Ripley close for a second hug, it felt completely natural for him to say with a choked voice: “I love you.”

Sienna coughed spitting more blood as she hacked up a laugh.
"No promises."
She staggered to her feet a little slower than Alice but beside them. With a wilful bit of spite she flipped off two v's at the distant bow wielding figure before diving into the crowd of Mice that had been advancing beside them. A few tried to get close to punch into her they came away screaming, but most left her alone as she left them alone.
Instead she kept low using them as cover as she moved towards where she had thought to see the figure. Bloody bowmen cowards shooting off in the distance. She would have to go give an up front reply.
--
Kay moved closer managing to flit between Mercs and vipers from Acchilleus side who raised their weapons until they spotted the shining purple eyes.
"May not be the best time but I have something to say to you." Kay spoke calmly as they approached Acchilleus though in a raised tone so that it carried and would hopefully not surprise him too much as they appeared from behind.
--
"Thanks for the update Tower Medical. Remember to keep in contact, so we have no surprises. Fighters out there, you heard Kinetic Warden get on it." Ali responded on the main channel as it burst through before switching to private again for Clyde.
"You didn't have to take me literally about the bullets. Get your arse in gear so I can patch you up you idiot. Or do I need to send a nice young man to help you limp back?""
She half growled it though the concern underneath pulled some of the teeth out of it.

- ACCHILLEUS -
The wild winds whipped at Acchilleus' bare skin, the battle was far worse than he had expected. He had lost count of how many barrage of bullets broke through the skulls of allies and enemies; boulders and bullets alike causing the life to drain from their eyes, that stared onward, forever staring. He could feel guilt edge on him, but at the same time, his ambition coiled around him, the battle doing nothing to stop his pace. He watched another Little Mice that dared to try and interrupt a Viper be shoved aside from his boulder, knocked back to join the bloodied corpses that smashed on the frozen waters below. Water, trapped under a thick blanket of ice was like them, trapped in this everlasting rush where blood and bodies mixed together.
They clashed and they fought, Acchilleus moving forward, only in one direction, ceasing to go back. He was confined, steeped in so much blood that to go forward was far easier than to go back, as going back was neither an option nor a desire. It was only when he felt an odd chill down his spine, barely being able to focus on the numerous footfalls that were around the battle, he sensed one, distinct in nature and closer toward him. The robotic voice that flung itself into the cool air only confirmed his suspicions, and it was only now he realized that in the midst of all this chaos, they had been absent for a lot of the battle.
“God damn it!” cried Acchilleus over the sound of the battle; bullets, blood, broken bones and empty streams of fire and ice. He turned to look over at them from over his shoulder, a wall of rock having risen in front of him as he resisted the urge to rest on it, he had never had to use his powers for anything on this scale and at this rate, he was already being worn out from the cover he had created. “Where have you been? We need to break through their lines!” Acchilleus' gazed at Kay, awaiting an answer, that part of him wish he would never have to receive.

"I quit." Kay replied. Their voice danced with joy and relief as they continued. "Damn does it feel good to say it. I know I only have like five minutes or something stupid but hey I should never have signed up."
They tilted their head at him the gun in their hand pointed obviously downwards so as not to trigger anyone.
"I told you people do stupid things in the quest for vengeance. You are my stupid thing. And hey don't worry the money has been refunded except for a few small expenses, but hey here is a nice freebie for you."
Their skin shifted into an echo of the man in front of them. The wear and tear obvious on their form in their mannerisms but with the gilded purple eyes, their own clothes looking strange on his figure.
"Take a look at yourself for a second. You are a truly twisted man. As bad as the one you face and at the rate you are going you are going to burn up and be forgotten as a bloody foot note on this already bloody city. Have fun with that and never contact me and I won't have to kill you."
With that Kay backed up getting ready to turn and leave.
--
Sienna was not impressed at her progress. She wasn't the height of fitness but each breath she took seemed a tiny bit less refreshing than it normally was making anything above a pushing jog slightly hellish. Still her slight frame meant she was not too far from her target.
More bloody spittle settled on her chin as she paused working out whether she should launch herself at the figure so many feet away only visible as the crowds moved. She felt like she was in the ocean, the bodies swaying backwards and forwards. Was this what mermaids saw in a shipwreck? The weird though surfaced as she began to move forward quickly decision made.

- The Puppet Servant - {Spoiler!}“Chameleon’s apprentice?” The chef made his way over and put the binoculars to his eyes as soon as he reached the window. “He’s in way over his head. I heard her recruits don’t even go through a sufficient training program before they start working; they learn everything in the field.“
“It is sufficient enough, I’ve seen to that myself. All he needs to do is find the boy, sedate him and camouflage himself and the kid until the war has settled down somewhat. Only thing left to do then is walk away peacefully with Felix over his shoulder.” “Really? And how would he do that in the middle of a crowd?”
Reginald furrowed his brows and spoke with a belittling tone; it was as if the chef hadn’t heard a single word he said. “As Chameleon’s apprentice, I’m sure he will find a way.”
“Hmm.. He’s doing a good job, I can’t bloody see him down there- oh!” The white apron leaned forwards with a renewed interest. “It seems like the Norwood’s daughter is in trouble.”
“Oh?” The chef swiftly handed Reginald the binoculars, who again placed them in front of his eyes. His expression was neutral but his tone somewhat dissatisfied and patronizing as he spoke. “Oh dear oh dear. Look at her go- off balance, slow and no elegance- on top of hesitating. Why is her performance so clumsy? If this is what two months of training with Reaver has done to her I won’t allow her staying here for much longer.”
The moment Jason punched the rock back towards Acchilleus Reginald understood what was going on down there. “Ah. Superspeed and strength. That could complicate things.”
“Still, they should have sent someone else, someone more proficient to challenge her than Micra. Who else are they sending?”
“You know I can’t tell you that. It spoils the fun.” The chef pulled a crooked smile while Reginald searched the battle field below.
“I thought you were incapable of having fun, Reggie.”
“Says the man who thinks cutting onions is ‘fun’.”
“Ooh,” the chef grimaced, his face turning into snickering pout, “That’s a low blow, even for you.” Reginald corrected his binoculars to watch the fight between Jason and Snowflake and paid no attention to the chef. The brawns had charged at her in a frenzy and barely hit her shoulder, which the little ballerina gasped in pain at. Reginald smirked at this and continued watching the brute get blinded and started shaking his head like a dog ridding it of pesky fleas.
“Alright then, Ackles,” Reginald’s smirk twisted a little to the maniacal as he kept watching the fight between the two. “Who would you prefer to go after Felix?”
This question put the chef slightly off guard, causing him to eye up Reginald suspiciously. “Really? Are you asking me to do your job for you?”
“I need a good laugh.”
Ackles’ eyes narrowed even further as he pondered and turned his attention to remember any people in the ‘family’ of real importance. With slow steps he started to pace around the empty dim room, turning his back on Reginald, and making gestures with his hands as if he went down a list of names. “Delsin would obviously be the best option- faster and smarter than Felix, he’s known for taking every necessary precaution before a mission.”
Reginald watched Jason duck behind Snowflake, and Snowflake turning to shoot him square in the chest. He found the young man’s abilities quite impressive; such a shame he was on the side of ‘the good guys’. “He’s away for a mission- on Hawaii.”
Ackles turned around with a surprised amusement. “Really?”
“And you went straight for the best option- but also the most obvious one. Keep them coming and bear in mind; we are sending four people a day to catch him.”
“Four assassins each day?”
“You should go see a doctor about that ear of yours.”
“…Hm. May I ask why the family is going to such lengths to get back the little pest?”
“You may, but I will not answer.”
“Fair enough- it’s none of my business.”
“…interesting.” Reginald lowered his binoculars and moved his slanted eyes over to look at Ackles. “First you ask who we’re sending, then turn on the spot when I won’t tell you the reason for sending so many after him.”
“Well, it’s another obvious reason; and not a difficult one to guess,” Ackles, now stood on the other side of the room with his back resting against a wall, cocked his head slightly. “It’s because of Ragno.”

- JONATHAN KRAMER - Thank god.She was holding herself through this, she wasn't 100% fine but she was at least functional in some capacity. "Don't get yourself killed!" Nariko loaded and it gave him time to put his riot shield up. It took the blow, but the stress the riot shield went under showed it's hideous results more. Several parts broke, and some shells passed through. His helmet got shredded, and his functional shoulder took a blow. It hurt like hell, but the kevlar withstood the blow. Another look to the right saw more problems, the numbers kept dwindling, 16 at best now? Likely, but they needed to fall back otherwise there won't be enough room for error. The field was barely organised, and he needed a giant wall to hopefully buy some time. "Lilly, we're taking more steps back, and we need to stay organised." He looked over to the inner gate, Reaver was gone, and it only left Crimson. "Help take care of Crimson, we can't afford an open flank." He whistled and targeted his voice to Jason. "JASE! FALL BACK! GET LUKE AND JAMES OUT OF THERE!" It was understandable, they were in too deep, and the effectiveness of his distant ally might've been hampered by the formation turning into a miasma. And there was Shade, she was close by, and from the looks of it badly wounded. The shadow had gave it her all, but she was in danger of vanishing from existence. He stepped back to her. "Shade, you good?"
- CLAUDIA KRAMER - The car came to a screeching halt. Jason's warehouse was right in front of her, and Claudia said no words. Cars surrounded the street, must mean others have arrived. She stormed to the front door and opened it without hesitation. The place went silent, and soul piercing eyes focused on Mira.

- The Puppet Servant - {Spoiler}“...It’s easy to forget; you are no fool.” Reginald sighed and pinched the ridge of his nose, as if the very mention of Ragno filled the room with a foul stench. “His criminal network in this filthy city has grown exponentially during the last two months. The predator lives of vermin; alas, one day he might become the rat king on top of this devastated hill they call Heartania.”
“..Hm.” The chef bobbed his head slightly up and down, taking in the information given to him. “And the bosses think he might grab the opportunity to catch him- if not for his own advantage, then maybe someone else’s... So tell me, why do I get the feeling there’s something more behind all of this fuss to get the kid back?”
“For now my lips are sealed. Let’s get back to see who you’d order to go after the Norwood’s little demon spawn- You mentioned Delsin. Who would you send next?”
The chef sighed and went back to pacing around the room, unnoticeably swirling up some dust as he walked through the dark room. “As you wish. Crash and Shrapnel make a good team-“
“They don’t have half a brain between them and they’re too dangerous to send after Felix. On several occasions the pair have blown up their marks, and Shrapnel is famed for making grenades on the go not bringing back hostages in one piece.”
“The Yeti, then?” “David Snowson hasn’t exactly been on good terms with the family lately.”
“What did he do?”
“Let’s just say he’s not been so easy to contact as of late- to the relief of Snover.”
“Alright then. Rodney, Stabface or Don Juan?” “Dumb, dumber and idiot.”
“You don’t exactly like a lot of members in the family.” “There’s only so many feelings that are useful, Ackles. ‘Liking’ people tend to make one vulnerable- I find tolerating them gives me a much clearer vision of the person without the emotional bonding.”
“Your choice, Reggie. How about The Laureate-“ “Not fit for this mission.”
“Dr. Tango?” “Last seen at Strahm Nightlight. He might have gotten himself on the boat to Scarlet City again, but for catching Felix he’s just as useful as a salsa instructor.”
Ackles rubbed his chin again and kept thinking. There was a lot he hadn’t yet mentioned, but only a few of them stuck out. “Umbra?”
“Finally, someone adequate. She could shift through the wall without problems, but as to bringing back Felix… Well, she’d have to find a way to outwit him.”
“I take it she’s coming then. Necroia?”
“A little too lethal for my taste.”
“Leviathan?”
“Personally I find her a bit too… Independent. Difficult to handle, even, with that poisonous ability of hers.”
“She’s definitely a sly one, I’ll give her that. Explodelord?”
“At a gaming convention- and on top of it he and Shrapnel should never be sent on the same mission. The outcome would be...”
“Yeah, I get it- devastating. Who’s left then?” Ackles furrowed his brows, giving the floor a blank stare. “What was that guy’s name? Deathheffer? Deaffer.. Devvo?”
“Deathknifer. He and Felix used to duel way back, when Felix first discovered his ability to grow and retract his nails- it ended rather sourly.”
“How so?”
“He knocked Felix’ head to the ground several times to get him off his back, rendering Felix unconscious. There might have been a tazer involved as well, but at the time I was away on a mission so I can’t be entirely sure.”
“So according to the expiring date of grudges, he’s the last person we should send.”
“Yes.”
“Well, there’s always Alphonse and Geoff.”
“..heh.” What seemed like a little puff of air escaped Reginald’s smiling mouth. “At last, you release your inner talent; a macabre sense of tragic comedy.”
“They’re not bad, just… beginners.”
“And right there lies the problem; we should only be sending the best of our assassins after the Norwood’s little demonspawn.”
“Well, aren’t we?”
“The ones you’ve already mentioned are good, but far from all are among the best.”
“We will never be able to send four assassins for every twenty four hours passing, Reginald..” Ackles finally looked back up from the floor, locking eyes with Reginald who had been keeping a careful eye on him for the entire conversation. A wide smile spread across Ackles face, one of confusion and realization. “And of course, you know that.”

Reaver gritted her teeth to avoid yelling out in pain as the found herself caught herself hanging by one arm, holding up both her own and Snow's weight. She felt like she was stretching on a rack, and she could feel her muscles straining at the exertion. Still, she hadn't missed, so it could be a lot worse. They swayed gently in the wind as the waves crashed far below. She looked down at the woman in her hand, arm straining. "Hey, Snow, are you with me?" She asked, hoping for a response. "I kinda need you to do something to get us out of this, so... you awake?"
Jason heard the Broker's words, and began looking frantically for James and Luke. Spotting them, he darted over to them, smashing a viper who got in the way into the ground. "Hey you guys, time to fall back!" He shouted, joining up with the men. "We're pretty outnumbered now, y'know?"
Shade looked up and the Broker with a hidden sneer, but before she could answer she was forced to shroud when a shotgun shell passed through her. A hulking woman was advancing on them, still shooting.
Nariko grimaced as the Broker ran off to have a chat with another friend, and began to focus her fire on his legs. He wouldn't be able to run if his legs were broken, would he? "Stop running, Kramer! Everyone who dies here is your fault, I hope you know that!"

- HUNTER -
The fight had been torturous for Luke and he could barely imagine how it would have been for James. As the aggressor of the duo, Luke lost count of the times James created lines of fire or burnt the Vipers that came towards them. However, with the katana in hand things had been more difficult, unlike his bow or gun, he would have to deal with his enemies up close. He was almost shocked at the limbs he dismembered or the chests he had stabbed, the blood blossoming on the katana as if it were wild flowers.
However, even with the Vipers that they had slain together, the battle was still as hectic, fire almost seemed to loom over them, surrounding them as smoke cast itself into the air. Even still, boulders had been thrown, not toward them but to some of the others on their side. Luke and James were panting, feeling the heat from the fire – almost making them sweat. It was when Luke turned around that he was punched from behind, the katana falling out of his grip as he fell over, managing to kick the attacker in the face. He heard them groan of pain as he reached out, barely able to grab the katana as he felt his leg being dragged.
Part of him wanted to call out for help, for James, who was distracted dealing with a trio of the Vipers that were surrounding him, but Luke knew he had to deal with this on his own. He kept kicking, finding himself able to grab the katana as he got up, sweating, tired, panting, as he glanced over at the Viper who was on their front, breathing heavily. Luke wondered if he had managed to kick at their throat and was glad he did. It was then when he saw James was handling the Vipers on his own, that Luke glared at the one on the ground. He found himself walking, it was almost as if he lost control of his body as he grabbed the Viper by the hair, hearing them yelp with more pain, before he drew the katana back. He began slashing. Once. Twice. Three times until their head came off from their body, blood spilling onto the open ground. Luke held their head, and just for that one moment, he didn't feel like himself. He threw their head on the ground as he heard shouting, shouting that he could barely hear as Jason seemed to rush over, talking to James about something. He furrowed his brows, vowing to keep on fighting.

~ Snowflake ~ She tilted her head back to look up at her saviour, squeezing a little harder to signal that she was still awake despite the excruciating pain her facial impressions couldn’t stop expressing. It hurt so much, just hanging there- if Reaver hadn’t held her hand as tight as she did, Snowflake would have let go voluntarily. The snow fell heavily around them and Snowflake manipulated most of it to swirl into a disc shape underneath them. In no time at all it started to solidify and take the shape of a triangle, very much alike the framework of the hangglider she’d tried to make only a few seconds earlier.

- ACCHILLEUS -
Acchilleus watched the betrayal fall from animated lips, their own clone facing them and it was almost as if like waves that crashed onto the rocky surfaces the city was built upon, the truth flooded his mind and forced him to drown, his screams unable to pierce the murky water that captured his throat in its essence. The water penetrated through thicken skin and caused him to revolt for mercy as he saw some eyes piercing his own, penetrating him in ways he never thought they could, as battle and mind faded into the distance and only one question was asked; could you look them in the eyes when you come home?
“Get her!” The words he only heard as he saw Rick yelling, pointing at the bewitched bitch with those purple eyes, fiend-like sheen that spurred the 'soldiers' around to shoot at the traitor. Acchilleus simply turned, his eyes glowering from the fire that burned in their reflection. He barely heard the cries of Kramer call and command colleagues so cribbed, cabined, confined to chaos. He only focused on moving forward.
Are you enjoying blood and fire?
Can't be bad, can't be good, so dire
It gives you and me the lust that we desire
We corrupt the truth, and spread these infectious lies
If it's so good, why do you hate it so much?
Broken bodies may break these eyes
And words just unwrap their legs around us
Should we all end it now? Why should we try?
Your tears are of the joy I mock; never trust
Yet they still thrust; we crave such gust

Kay ran. Their legs whirred faster as they sprinted to get out of the way of a hail of angry bullets. At first they ran towards Acchilleus diving past him, so close they could feel the hairs standing up on his skin but not touching him. That would slow the gunfire for a moment, never wise to fire at your boss.
From there they moved through the figures, pushing shoving but not shooting. This was not their battle what was the point in doing work for either side.
"They not she." Kay yelled aloud. "Never get it right bloody humans."
With that last angry sentiment hanging in the air they dived solidly over the edge of the bridge in a swift movement.
--
Sienna did not get much farther. As she reached the edge of the sea of enemies a new feeling of drowning reached her. She couldn't breathe. Each tiny taste of oxygen was replaced by another mouthful of blood.
She looked side to side the sounds of giggles through an ocean of noise filled her ears. She was swimming so hard against the current of the world but it dragged her down. She had no life raft, no support to help. She had burned it all dancing on the ship wreck to keep a couple of passersby warm.
She felt her knees buckle as she clutched at her chest. She couldn't know exactly what was happening to her, except the world seemed to get suddenly brighter. So bright, so bright that only that engulfed her mind.
She would have found it funny if she could laugh any more that a bullet nicking her lung had got her. A tiny wound that only would bleed a little in others. Well Sienna had not done a little with blood in a long time.

- THE QUEEN OF ROSES -
Mira gathered around the crowd of clueless civilians turned mice that were now having to follow orders and risk their lives, shattering the peaceful iotas of time plucked like petals from a rose. She didn't know whether to tempt to relief or constraint as she saw Claudia and Jade's arrival, a piercing stare matching her own. She hushed some of the Little Mice around her that continued babbling, they had gone underground in the safehouse to arm themselves since and transformed from servitude to severity.
Corruption was a big stake here, and wild roots from the rose spread out among the fold. They fell silent not only from Mira's desires but for they too witnessed Claudia rushing in, clearly determined to find the root of the issue. Mira refrained from folding her arms, a pistol that weighed heavy in her hands. She wished, she didn't have to do this and part of her recalled the argument back to Seth, both about their different roles and what they did to get to this point. Falling back on old memories would do no duty now, as Mira finally said the first word.
“Are you ready?”
