Oren slumped down a few yards away from Alice and the dead body. He looked at her, her face weary, her voice lacking in her usual tone. He curled up, "You lose someone too?" His voice was defeated, not containing his usual jovial tone or any teasing.
---
Ripley heard the voice amongst the violence, piercing through the decaying wall of screams. He swooped down under the bridge, flying past Felix and halting in the air, levitating with his wings. "Hey, grab onto me, we're leaving this place."

- NATASHA MCCALL - She kept circling the arena with Sonar in her arms, seeing the fight going on between what looked like a mercenary and a hero, or that's what she presumed. She never met the two, but she was about to in some degree. "Reaver's still there, and as long as she is there, uncontrolled, she poses a threat to everyone." She looked at the positioning, it was a perfect approach. "Doesn't mean I won't help. Put your legs at front, we're going in." One pluck of the string and the two were heading straight towards the fight. She dropped him, and if all went well he should make some sort of contact with the male, one that's....painful hopefully.
- JONATHAN KRAMER - There was a bang from below, Jade had diverted Reaver's attention, and now it was time to bring her in. "Open the shutter, enough to bring her and anyone in quick!" The shutter opened a crack, and it would be enough to get Jade in. "Sir! An anomaly has been detected in the corridors?" Someone managed to get inside, how?"Deploy the turrets, identify, and destroy if necessary."

ADERYN STONE | SKYLARK Heartania | Citadel Bridge 1st December 2063 | 6:03PM Aderyn had passion aplenty, but that paled in comparison to the ruthless experience of the Harvester. She crashed into the assassin; vision blurring in response to the sheer force of impact. Disorientated, she found herself unable to react to sickle's strike at her legs before it was too late. She gritted her teeth in order to stifle her cry of pain as the blade sunk into the area around her shin. Alerted, she noticed the follow-up attack: but the Harvester's sheer speed wasn't to be contended with as a secondary agony surged from her torso. She quickly rose, darting a few yards away to put her enemy at a distance, though the sheer strain that the wounds put on her legs forced her to buckle to the ground. There, she rose her dirtied, bruised head to stare at the murderer; a fiery rage in her eyes. Her face was growing abnormally pale from the blood loss, and though she lost the endurance to speak, she would never lose the will to fight.

>> SONAR << || >> THE HARVESTER << [/font][/div] The girl backed off right as the boy returned to the fight. Their timing was impressively poor. Orlando shouldered the impact of Sonar landing into him, letting the hero collide with something soft before the killer had a chance to deal with him himself. Johnny hit the Harvester solidly, though not enough to collapse the older man's stance. As soon as he'd bounced back from the impact, Orlando caught Johnny by the wrist. "I thought I'd dealt with you already, persistent rat. No matter." "What, you think we'll stop fighting just because you can speak some fancy threats? Get real buddy. You're as ridiculous as you are melodramatic." Orlando showed no reaction to the insult, instead pulling the boy in closer until he could feel his frantic breath on his face. "Sonar. Do you realise that I know something you never want someone like me knowing?" "Oh yeah? And what's that?" "I know where your bandages were." With one sharp motion, Orlando brought his knife down on Johnny's right shoulder, stabbing deep into the flesh. His old wound opened itself, and the boy hero shrieked in pain. Orlando released his wrist, dropping the child to the ground. "Now then, girl. Where were we?" he snarled, moving his attention back to Skylark.

- The Puppet Servant - Reginald, delighted to see the red assassin dealt with, started scanning the battlefield again with the pair of binoculars he’d shrunk to nothing but a thimble earlier. Now that there was one less distraction to focus on, he turned his eyes towards where Lorraine had been fighting the brute earlier, but was disappointed to see that he’d missed the outcome of the match. There was not much else in the insane conflict that was of any interest to him; a tornado taking shape in the pouring rain, a massive influx of fighters threatening to collide with Acchilleus’ forces, not even Acchilleus himself- …well, well, well.’ Reginald thought dryly and leaned forwards as he watched the politician fall to his death. ’Looks like the insurgent is plummeting faster than his political career. With Acchilleus out of view his eyes turned to the front of the inner gate, where he found, to his amazement, that Micra had decided to blow his cover and lash out towards a kid. Reginald’s narrow eyes cynically watched the scuffle when the youngster revealed himself to be Felix, swiping at Micra’s gut and then making a run towards the side of the bridge. This upset Reginald a bit. He felt some slight pride in having helped raise Felix; of course, he was different, but had he really spent his time in nursing forth a coward? The least he could do was fight back, or maybe Felix was trying to send a different signal all together… ’Hm... Maybe that is what you’re trying to say. By leaving them on the black tarmac, by running away, you’re trying to show that you are nothing like your family. Well, Felix,’ his eyes watched Ripley follow him under the bridge, to something resembling safety, ’it looks like you’ll have to learn this the hard way. Lorraine should be seeing this…’Tilting his binoculars, he saw Snowflake kneeling beside… a fallen viper? Reginald blinked, but quickly added the pieces together when he saw the icicle caught in the viper’s throat. It seemed like Snowflake had found out about the execution and now turned on the Vipers. The look of despair on her face said it all. The butler watched intensely; what would happen now? Would she turn on the Vipers, attacking everyone she could see? No one was on her side anymore, so to speak. Or would she just simply sit there in shock? Or maybe stand up and find the one responsible? Out of nowhere Reaver appeared and placed a compassionate hand on Snowflake’s shoulder, and Norwood’s daughter froze. Reginald exhaled coolly and saw Snowflake rise again with a face that at one point had threatened to burst into tears. She hadn’t pushed away Reaver’s hand, which seemed so unlike her. Maybe she was in shock? Reginald started to ponder this as Snowflake pocketed Crimson’s two handguns, and a not so unusual frown on the servant’s face hid behind the binoculars. It would seem like Snowflake had been even more attached to the red man than Reginald at first had expected. ’She will learn from this, become stronger than ever before once she lets go of those relics- oh for feck’s...As he watched the interactions between the two women he was tempted to assume that the crimson clad wasn’t the only one who Lorraine had gotten emotionally attached to.

ADERYN STONE | SKYLARK Heartania | Citadel Bridge 1st December 2063 | 6:04PM Aderyn felt her heart jump as Johnny intervened... only to drop so suddenly. As the Harvester spoke, poison dripping from every word, her eyes lay fixed on her wounded friend. She had enough time to recover her breath, and summon the fortitude to reply, "I know where I am, but where are you? What sort of hell do you have to draw strength from to do this to people? There's no way that someone could live with themselves after brutally killing so many people... I don't think even you can sleep at night with that thought."

>> THE HARVESTER << Orlando paused for a moment, staring at his foe's eyes. Her words were sharp, but no sharper than he was accustomed to. After a breif delay, he stepped closer to her, an amused grin spreading across his face. "So what, you condemn me? Use your words to sting at the monster you couldn't beat with your fists? Or is this just your way of biding time, appealing to my 'better nature' until another of your friends comes and saves you?" He stopped barely a foot from Skylark, and his grin dropped to a scowl. "There is no good left in me, little songbird, so stop looking. Instead, you should think about running, before you lose any more friends." He nodded sideways to Johnny, then brandished his weapon against the girl's skin, ready for the cut to finish it all. "...Or blood."

- NATASHA MCCALL - "Jesus, will you shut up already!??" Reaver was distracted for the time being, but the balance between the fight between Sonar and the murderer was unbalanced. She needed to fix that, if temporary. He was close to taking a life, so she needed to be quick. Her foot was extended and aimed for his face, should at least daze him a little.

Reaver Reaver looked into Snow's eyes, and breathed deeply as she collected her thoughts. It was a struggle to think, her mind still in shock, but she pushed forwards, turning her head to the floor to try and recover from Snow's expression. Was Crimson really dead? Snow... Snow didn't think so, and she was the one who knew him. Perhaps he had survived again, disappearing into the night in characteristically dramatic fashion. Perhaps... It wasn't over, and he was still out there, ready to come into their lives again. But Reaver knew denial, a refusal to face the harsh facts of life. Ignoring inarguable truths had become a specialty of hers over the last few weeks. Accepting his death... After whatever feelings (a thought that inspired revulsion in Reaver's chest) she had for him, would be hard for Snow. She was, after all, still human, with emotions and feelings and... Whatever it was normal people had. And there was the matter of the blood. The ground where Acchileus and Crimson had disagreed was marked by so much of the stuff. Reaver knew death far better than she knew denial, and she knew what a fatal cut would leave behind. Surviving whatever had drained so much would be... Remarkable. So he had to be dead. And Snow would have to accept it. She couldn't go on without that closure. Reaver had to tell her. But as she raised her head to look at Snow once more, she remembered the pain that had been in her face when she held those guns. That was not an expression she ever wanted to see on that face again. A sad smile formed on Reaver's face as she knelt down, grasping Snow firmly on the shoulder. The truth could wait. "Yeah, I'll bet. I'll be there to help you do it." She agreed with uncharacteristic sincerity. "So... who do you want us to kill next?" Jason The fury had taken hold of Jason was almost overwhelming, and it drove him against the Vipers with all the hatred he could muster. Even though he couldn't find Acchileus, the men that served him would do. He went between them without mercy, breaking them like toys. His strength was such that they buckled against his every strike, and he felt bones snap under his hands as he brought an end to them all. Deep down, he hated what he was doing, and despised himself for doing it. But his family, Jon, they all were in danger. Lilly was dead, and she sure as hell wasn't the only one. For them, to stop that happening again, Jason would kill every last bastard that fought him. Maybe that was a reward that would was worth his soul. Venator Up on the wall of the Citadel, far above the chaos below, Venator gritted her teeth as she wrapped the last of the bandages tightly over the cut. The wound was deeper than she first thought, and hadn't stopped bleeding, requiring the use of first aid to stop her from passing out. Now, restored, the archer was able to return her sights to the field, ready to bring justice once again. As she surveyed the scene, it became apparent that things had moved rather quickly. Achilleus was... Missing, and his forces were clearly on the back foot. This was pleasing, but there was a complication- Aderyn and Sonar had found their man. And they were losing. Sighing in mild disappointment, and more than a little bit of anger at Harvester's survival, she raised the Recurve and took careful aim. Drawing back the string, she took a moment to check the wind and adjust. With that, she released, and her arrow was sent on its way towards Orlando Briante.

-Joltz- the copy of Joltz that was searching for people in the Citadel found the police all sat in the court yard awaiting for orders from the chief, leaping out off one of the nearby lights the police looked up in shock horror of her, letting off a terrifying laugh she ran towards the police ready to attack them, as this was happening the other copy was still trying to find the back up generator running through the system as the lights turned on and went a bit brighter as she went past

- Jade Blythe - The gate opened, if only for a brief moment, and Jade hurried inside. She didn’t recognize anyone who followed her through, the glimpses of their faces weren’t sufficient enough to help her remember any of them anyway, and she hurried into the courtyard. There she was met by a horrifying sight. One of the Ravagers, the electrical one, was assaulting police officers who had been gathered in the courtyard. Fighting superhuman with human was a bad idea, and now the poor souls were in for a beating. Jade stared in horror as the shrill screams of the police filled the space between the rolls and clutched the smoke grenade in her hands. With a defiant glare, she turned invisible and threw the grenade at the Ravager. You can’t hit something you can’t see, and as the courtyard slowly filled with smoke, she hoped the police had half the brain to run away.
- Felix - Felix jumped from the wall and latched on to Ripley. Retracting his claws to make sure he didn’t hurt Ripley, he nodded as if to say it was about time they made a run for it.

ADERYN STONE | SKYLARK Heartania | Citadel Bridge 1st December 2063 | 6:04PM In an instant, Aderyn's fortunes reversed with the Harvester's. As the arrow pierced the ankle of its target, the winged hero received the upper hand. Gritting her teeth, she began a determined sprint to the assassin, grappling with all the strength of her arms, she then used all the force of her wings to lift them both into the air. She kept her eyes firmly locked with the Harvester's, never looking away; not even as she arced her flight closer to the Citadel's helipad. As she reached a deadly height, ready to drop the bastard and finally avenge Cassie, she allowed herself a final word, "There will be a tiny moment before your body hits the ground, I hope you use it to think about the damage you've done."

~ Snowflake ~ Snowflake’s narrow eyes looked at Reaver’ s sad expression, then at the hand placed reassuringly at her shoulder. The empathy Reaver showed was something Snowflake had never seen expressed by the mass-murderess before, and Snow was very close to pushing the woman away and snap at her. But for who-knows-why, Snowflake swallowed what resembled humiliation and anger, and tried to assess the situation around them. Reinforcements had arrived, Inferno was gone somewhere, and Joltz seemed to be doing a trick on the Citadel’s flickering power supply. They still hadn’t even come close to catching Felix, who was still presumably inside the Citadel. The Ravagers and Acchilleus’ forces would be overpowered pretty quickly, if the tide hadn’t changed already. The wisest thing would be to withdraw before things took a turn for the even worse. Lorraine looked down for just a moment; she could feel the pressure, knowing a new assassin arrived every sixth hour to hunt Felix, and the anger at knowing Crimson was still out there somewhere. For a brief second she closed her eyes and sighed- she wanted to kill everyone she could see, maybe draw him out again like two months ago. But right now, her anger and hatred would have to be put aside; it wasn’t up to her what the Ravagers decided to do, or who they would kill, next. “Whoever you want dead, Reaver.”

- RONIN -He drove for awhile, maybe 10 minutes. He stopped in front of a parking garage, and then drove inside. He went up two levels, and parked his bike. He turned his helmet off of civilian mode, and stepped off of his bike, waiting for his contact. A sedan arrived, and parked next to Ronin's bike. A man in a crisp, black suit stepped out. "I presume you're Ronin?" The man said. Ronin nodded. The man stepped towards the trunk of his sedan, opening it up and pulling out a briefcase. He handed it to Ronin. "25k, just like I promised." Ronin grabbed the suitcase, setting it down. He opened it up, counting it. "Well, pleasure doing business with you." Ronin said, shutting the briefcase and putting it on his handlebar. He turned his helmet to civilian mode, and drove out of the parking garage.

>> THE HARVESTER << Orlando Briante's heart skipped a beat as he processed the situation he was in. The winged heroine had pulled him high above the ground, high enough that falling would give him no chance of survival. He'd seen her do this to the Vipers earlier - he knew exactly how this story went. Panicking, he reached for his belt, and his eyes flashed open in genuine fear. He could have used his grapple to find some way to stop his fall, but it wasn't clipped to his belt. He must have dropped it during the scuffle on the ground. He thought for an instant, looking for a way out of the predicament, but found none. The pain is his ankle certainly didn't help his concentration. So, Orlando Briante stopped looking for a solution and simply did what the Harvester does best. "Fine. Justice it is. But you come with me." He pulled himself against Skylark's body, reaching behind her. The sickle in his hand pressed itself against her skin, sliding until it found its mark - with one great effort, he sawed the blade through the base of one of the girl's great wings. This may be the day the Harvester dies, but at least his killer would fall just as far. The hawk and the sparrow will meet Where all birds take flight And fall from the sky
