There was nothing that could be said, done, or thought. Nothing came from the doors, no news, no voices, just the sounds of a woman who saw the life leave her brother's eyes that echoed in the corridors. There was no one around her to offer a level of comfort, too busy bringing in the injured on gurneys or making attempts to identify the dead. The civilians below even made an attempt to help, some secretly making plans to hand in their resignation letters. One thing was for certain, the Citadel may have won both the battle and war against Acchilleus' toxic philosophy, but it left the situation as a broken and un-unified entity. Friendships were going to be the most important thing, the only thing that could provide comfort and present some sanity from within the aftermath. Claudia took several minutes to finally stand up and stare at the door, now stained with the smudged bloody hand-print Claudia caused, instinctively forcing her to wipe her hands on her trousers. She took another long look at the guards to the void her brother hand entered, she needed some support, and there was someone who wasn't injured or dead who could provide that. The walk through the corridors lasted for an eternity, which gave Claudia time to assess the environment around her. People stared at her as they saw a completely new woman, either damaged or born depending on perspective. The shocked, red-faced red-eyed, tear soaked woman saw a group who could be on the verge of becoming an uncontrolled mess, and within this miasma of confused thoughts and dangerous paths came the door that could give her some comfort in the world of pain. She was hesitant, she raised her had to Jade's door but didn't commit to knocking it. Her thoughts had trailed to the last time she saw her, outside, embracing her brother, and the actions the two committed after that peck. Jon had wept, crying rivers as he insisted he screwed everyone up. Himself, herself, Jade, he pointed fingers everywhere and insisted he screwed everyone up. Did Jade open his eyes to something Claudia didn't see? Or did she... No, that's between her and Jon, she thought to herself as she took a deep breath. She swung her arm and three hesitant, tempo-inconsistent knocks were heard from Jade's door. She tried to control her breathing, she needed someone to lean on, and Jade might also need a shoulder to support herself on. They possibly had a mutual need and she needed to keep her composure, something she was slowly failing at.

- Jade Blythe - It was impossible to tell how long time Jade had spent in the bath, but when she finally got up she felt a bit better even if the relief was only superficial. She took some fresh bathroom supplies with her into her room and opened her suitcase to rearrange and make space for the things she wanted to bring with her. Wrapped in a towel and knelt over the open suitcase, she heard someone knock on the door. Jade turned invisible and, with her telekinesis, opened her door slowly to see who it was- she didn’t want to talk to anyone right now, but depending on who it was she might be able to keep up a façade and tolerate them.

Ripley nearly lost his grip on the vehicle, but he didn't let go. The sudden halt was unexpected, but it didn't affect him massively, he was pulling back. After it had stopped, Ripley let out a booming voice, "GIVE ME BACK FELIX!". He retracted the whip, ready to move into a more offensive position.

~ Snowflake ~ Felix heard the voice and immediately his eyes widened, not out of hope, but of fear. Before he could stick his head out of the broken window and reply, a current of electricity ran through his body and he slumped over the backseats of the car. Snowflake held the triggered tazer in her hand and turned her head to peer back up at Ripley through the windshield with a sneer. Like hell would she give him back now. She opened the car door and stepped out on the tarmac, not caring that they were in the middle of the main road somewhere around Pacify Hills. With a yell which could wake the dead she shouted out all her frustration, followed by launching a hailstorm of whizzing, razorshaped iceblades directly towards him. “Oh yeah!? COME AND GET HIM THEN!”

CLAUDIA KRAMER The door had opened, but there wasn't anyone present. Was she invisible or did a gust pull it open? Both were plausible, but either way it felt like a sign for Claudia to enter. She sheepishly and nervously stepped through the door, trying to control her breathing. "Jade?" she croaked out, hoping for an answer.

- Jade Blythe - Jade saw Claudia enter the room, the woman who only a few hours earlier had jumped and danced to upbeat music in Heartania Grand. Now, broken and in battle armour with blood staining her clothes, she looked so much like her brother that if it weren’t for her voice Jade would have sternly told her to get out. She didn’t, but instead replied with a hasty sharp voice as she started to go through her few remaining clothes to find something to wear. Right now she couldn’t even manage to look at her. “Yeah? What’s wrong?”

CLAUDIA KRAMER "Ah....." she tried to spit out some words, only for them to quiver with her legs. She fell onto her knees and sunk into her hands. "It's Jon...he's...." No words, she couldn't continue, even if she didn't know the whole situation tore her apart, and the only way it could be expressed is through the tears and sadness that were painted on her face.

- Jade Blythe - Jade stopped rummaging through her clothes and turned around to face Claudia, and she felt the blood drain from her invisible face. “He’s what? Claudia?” The door to the bathroom opened and towards Claudia floated a roll of toilet paper. Jade just managed to pull on a t-shirt before she turned visible and knelt down beside her, all the while a feeling of worry started to cloud her mind.

CLAUDIA KRAMER She crawled her face out of her hands, completely soaked and the lower lip trembling. Her struggle was evident by her inability to control her breathing, but she at least some words came out. "Jon...he...he came to me, he cried, he blamed himself for everything," she sniffed. "Then he started to cough blood, then it got more and more serious, then he writhed to the floor," her breathing got quicker and her worry once again punched itself out of Claudia's eyes. "His arm was completely purple, and he was drowning in his own blood, then the gurney came and brought him inside. And then...then..." She couldn't hold herself back and sank herself into Jade's shoulder, sobbing uncontrollably. Her arms wrapped around Jade and let everything out.

- Jade Blythe - The embrace was sudden but not unexpected, and Jade held onto Claudia as she felt herself become ever more distant and numb. With weak arms she hugged her back, her eyes turning white as one of them cried her eyes out. Jade sat still, not knowing what to say; it certainly was a selfish act of her to want to get up and leave right away, at least while Claudia was in this state. But Jade's eyes were growing more distant by the minute, and she needed to know. “Claudia, is he still.. alive?"

CLAUDIA KRAMER Claudia leaned away a little and tried to compose herself, something that the nearby tissues certainly helped with. "I..." she tore a piece of the tissue and wiped her eyes out before blowing her nose. "I don't know. They carried him towards the medical bay but they locked me out. His breathing slowed down and the medics said he was suffering from at least a punctured lung, which allowed the blood to go in." She looked at Jade with the corners of his mouth quivering. "He lost a lot of blood, pints, and I don't know if he's alive!" She lowered head head a little. "I saw him dying in my arms and I couldn't help him...what kind of sister does that?" She felt empty, and turned back to Jade. "I...don't know what to do...what can I do?"

- Jade Blythe - “Nothing, Claudia.” The answer was cold and she faked a tired smile. “There’s nothing either of us can do now, we can only wait for them to do their best.” Jade tried not to think of her last words to the Broker. He had been delirious on the battlefield, so it would only be fair to assume… ’Could he really be..?’She swallowed and her irises remained white as she looked at Claudia wiping her eyes and nose. What could she say now? Maybe… The truth? “Claudia, I tried to get him medical attention, but then Reaver climbed in, and..” She looked away at her half-full suitcase. “..and I don't know what to say next.”

CLAUDIA KRAMER She heard Jade's words, and the fact that Reaver might be indirectly responsible for Jonathan's death scowled her face. Her augmented fist clentched to the point that it might've caused some failure, but with one deep breath she calmed herself down and focused herself a little. Her breathing became a little more calm, more controlled, before she glanced in the direction Jade was facing. "You're not leaving...are you?"

Emma Fitzgerald "My name's Edward!" the young boy chirped enthusiastically, grabbing Alex's extended hand with both of his and giving it a vigorous shake, "What's Scutland? Like where the dragons live?" Emma smiled as Alex played with Ed, leaning over the kitchen counter and taking sips of lukewarm cocoa. "Cocoa? Maybe tea?" Emma asked Alex.
Alice Drake "I'm an idiot." "Yes you are," Alice gritted her teeth, dragging her hand off of Oren and slowly standing, "But you weren't the one that pulled her into that battle or the one that failed to keep her safe." Though she didn't necessarily have the time or energy to address it Alice did in fact blame herself for Sienna's death, as any captain would blame themselves for the deaths of their squad. But grief was grief and - for the most part - Alice understood that. Her brother, however? A totally different story. She sliced his throat herself, not a meter away from him. Yes it was Acchilleus that forced her into it but Acchilleus was dead now, and revenge wasn't the answer. And then there was the promise she had made to Tommy right before. No, she had some figuring to do. "I'll be back," she said plainly, lifting Tommy's body from the ground and carrying him out the building like a child. Before she should even begin to sort out her thoughts there was one last loose end to sort out. *** Covered by nightfall, Alice had gotten into a car with Tommy in tow. She drove it far under the flat, overbearing orange streetlights on a journey that never seemed to end until she found her way to Scarlet City; the ruined, destroyed and overrun city of organised crime and street violence. Near the coast, near the very harbor that David Bates - Cold Steel - once owned and housed his base of operations sat a quaint patch of land. Green land. Rare to find among a city of smog. She'd come here many times over the last few years and hoped that one day she'd end up here like the rest. Grabbing a shovel, Alice began to dig tirelessly for hours until the hole in the ground was adequate. He deserved a headstone, nevermind a coffin, but this would have to do. Then as slowly and laboriously as she had first dug the grave Alice filled the grave back in, finally committing the last of her family to the earth, where they would both one day belong; beside John; beside Nora; beside Damian; beside Kay. The closest to a family reunion either could ever hope for.

Alex chuckled, looking at Edward. "Well, a Dragon does live in Scotland. He's a big strong hero; body harder than the most durable metal, he has massive wings, and he breathes fire. I met him once, a nice fella." She turned to Emma, "Oh, some hot chocolate sounds nice; I'll have that please." She replied kindly, placing on hand over the other on the table.
Alex looked back at Edward, "There's a lot of people like Dragon in my homeland, there's a lass who names herself Unicorn. There're some baddies as well, such as The Hag, a nasty old witch she was. Ahh, it would be nice to have powers like them, wouldn't it? Powers tae help people."
