~Dr Clueless~ Armed with his new experiments he was dying to test them on the public, picking up his new dart gun he walked over to the Q-bot that was in its charging station looking over at the monitor attached to it said "Charge: 100%", knocking on the casing he shouted "come on sleepy head Wake up, we got some science to do!" as the Q-bot started to slowly turn itself and raise from the station, walking past Cybelle's door he said into it "Cybelle im going out to test some stuff, you gonna be ok for a few hours?" with out getting an answer "Cybelle?... you didnt come back last night did you?" he said as he peered around the door and looked into the empty room, rushing over to his tablet he quickly turned it on, putting in a few commands he located the tracing device in Cybelle's dampener, it was in a house with other cybernetic beings most likely the ones Cybelle was with yesterday she was safe nothing bad has happened to her yet, looking over at one of the other Q-bots that was sitting near the computer "hey Q-bot 3, bring up the locator for Cybelle's dampener" Clueless said as the Q-bot did so "keep me up dated and tell me if anything goes wrong with her" he continued, turning back to the first Q-bot now out of the charging station Clueless walked over to the door and changed the dial to 3 "come on you we need to do some tests, now wheres a good open area with lots of people?" he asked him self as he put his hand on the handle

Lazarus Dominic smiled as he put down his tablet, he had to get away from his work a little bit, "Thanks Sanator, I appreciate it, though you helped us a lot too, last night, I doubt we could have managed two outposts without you there. I think it's nice to have someone with experience running things, Sarah and I are used to working in the field, not so much management." He leaned against his desk and continued, "Though I'm not confident in the police station helping us too much. The police chief isn't particularly fond of us here in the Tower. I personally steer clear of her when I can, but who knows? Maybe you'll have better luck with her."

>> BACKFIRE << "Are you ready for the job?""Yes. Though, to reiterate. You're paying me handsomely for this, I hope? She's not exactly known for being easy to track down, let alone steal from." "Of course. Pull this off, and you'll be living like a princess. But remember: it's her weapons I want. I will pay extra for any other tech you can bring, but without the swords your reward will be forfeit.""Indeed. Anything else you want to add?" "You're not the first person I've approached with this job. But you were the first to accept. I hope you will not disappoint me, Banks.""I have a reputation for a reason. Backfire always delivers." "Good. I trust you.""Yet not enough to give me a name. How can I trust that a buyer with no identity will even pay up?" "You'll just have to believe in the fact that this is an opportunity you can't afford to pass up.""I... understand." "We will speak again at a later date. Hopefully by then, you'll have the goods.""Don't worry. Reaver won't even see me coming."

"It was lovely.." Haley's words drained away as she caught sight of the blood red sky. Though it wasn't just the sight of it that chilled and warmed her at the same time. She had to bite down on her tongue drawing blood and dig her nails sharply into her stomach as though bowled over by cramps to hide her eyes as she resisted hard the feeling of transformation.
It called to her inner demon in a flash and when it was over she felt hungry and tempted. Like the red sky had taken away a huge chunk of the resistance she had built up over the years.
The tears began to fall fast down her face as she looked up at Jay. She could feel blood on her tongue and marks at her belly but let out no cry of pain. Just tried to swallow it all back down. Something very bad had happened.
--
"If I don't have luck you'll at least get to hear a good tale about a crippled woman getting arrested." She grinned giving Dominic one last wave as she headed out the door.
She felt rather merry about the kind words Dominic had said to her as she took the lift back down to the lobby. It was nice to feel wanted even as the brief glimpses of her nightmare tried to grasp at her she held onto those words for comfort.
"Alright off to the police station." She muttered merrily to herself as she headed back out of the Tower into the busy city once more.

DR ADRIAN COOPER "Says the man who sent killers to do a postman's job. You think they'll succeed? You think they'll kill him while retrieving it?" The enhancements glowed a little as the intensity of his anger became clear. Maybe it was the thought of mercenaries coming to find a man, or maybe someone failing to deliver a human to safety twisted itself into this conversation somehow. He took a deep breath before the shadows drew themselves onto the city. The glowing red, the atmosphere to created in mere seconds, nearly made what remained of Cooper's skin crawl. Darkness drew itself yet again before the city returned to it's previous state. He could hear the people on the streets, screeching cars and the sound of people muttering louder. Since when were eclipses not announced on the news? he thought to himself, before the AI within his skull sent the images back underground. It would need analysing, and maybe Wolfram can work on a project that doesn't involve fatiguing the population with more violence. 'Update complete, Dr Wolfram contacted,' the AI said, before Cooper took one last look at the butler. He turned around back to Norwood, and said "we'll talk later," before pulling up his black scarf. Alleyway below clear, weapon back on his back, and a quick jump across later and he was moving towards the horizon. Time to see what is at the source of the lightning.

APOLLO | Jay Hearne Kathy's - Afternoon As Jay and Haley sat (somewhat) comfortably at their table, suddenly something shifted. As the grey, natural light filtering in from behind Jay was quickly eclipsed Jay would have taken notice immediately, turning around to witness the horrific red sky, but something else stole his attention. "Haley?" Jay watched as the woman doubled over, tears streaming down her face as she visibly writhed in pain. He stood up to reach over to her, "What's wrong? What's happen--" Suddenly it hit him too. Everything around Jay seemed to stutter, his vision becoming blurry; dizzy. All sounds around him began to echo and reverberate around his skull as he quickly lost balance. Plummeting back into his seat Jay felt a strong force grounding him, pulling him down eternally while excruciatingly loud, shrills sounds stabbed at him like knives. "Hale--" Jay scrambled, clutching at his head as he tumbled from his feet and onto the floor, his eyes hollow and his mouth agape in fear.
EMMA FITZGERALD Kathy's - Afternoon
"My- uh- my name's Emma," she smiled hesitantly, "Nice to meet you, Luke. Now come with me--" Thunder. Awful, terrifying thunder. Both Emma and Edward alike jumped out of their skin, Edward scurrying over to his mother and clutching her leg, frightened. An eclipse, the entire sky black. One horrible red moon - red as blood - looming over them all. The colour was just taunting her now. "Mommy, what is that?" Edward cried. "Don't worry, hon, let's just get home, quick." she assured him, regardless of her own fear and uncertainty, "Luke? Please."

- HUNTER -
The gusts of wind stilled to a silent march as a strange type of darkness engulfed the city whole, Luke only glanced up in curiosity for just a moment, surprised to see the strange arrival of a seemingly unpredicted or unmentioned eclipse. He watched the sky drip red with blood as he tore his gaze away, the words that were upon him lost, fading forever into the distance as he simply continued to follow, wondering if the world was now taunting the city. If there was a God, was this his way of preparing the city for the flood of blood they so desperately desired from the blood they had already spilled from havoc and chaos. No matter how much he tried to focus on the woman standing in front of him, he couldn’t resist the urge to explore the sky through the corner of his vision, watching the crimson hue facilitate itself and like a dying man, hang itself overhead the ground, gazing down at the people whose lives shrunk to minute scale in mere moments.
“Yeah,” He began, nodding at the woman who called his name as he forgot about the red sky overhead and instead decided to focus on simply following the woman, no matter what happened, Luke only had the strong urge to get out of the icy cold domain that had infested the city through white sin. Instead, Luke tried his best to pass the eclipse and bloodmoon as some sort of hoax, a mistake, something that could usher in the idea that there are thoughts in the world, thoughts you never knew possible, thoughts you may even be thinking now. Luke shivered one last time, a heated feeling emanating from his own body. Luke had no idea but to ponder about the boy’s innocence, his mother’s eyes claiming the same in the few iotas of time and space that allows them to be together. He continued to follow.

"Shit Jay!" Haley swore as she watched Jay through streaming eyes tumble to the ground. She stumbled herself kneeling beside him heavily as she tried to cradle him to keep him safe. Could he feel it too?
"Someone call an ambulance, please." She asked clearly to the restaurant as a whole, through slightly blurred eyes she made out the cafe owner already with a phone in her hand.
"It's going to be okay Jay. Please believe me it'll be okay, you just need to be strong and brave.. I know you can do that, you took a sucker punch from me after all."
She talked to him clearly trying to block out images in her mind of being over someone else she had known saying the same kind of things with tears in her eyes. She focused instead on making sure he wasn't bleeding, that he was breathing, the whole checklist of first aid things that ran to her panicked mind.
"Be a hero for me okay?" The words were softer only for him but with an insistent edge as she continued to talk to him.

EMMA FITZGERALD The Safe Zone - Afternoon Emma had marched her son and target-turned-companion through the streets of Heartania dutifully, an otherworldly chill running down her spine from the ghastly red hue of the ecliptic sky that filled the sky. But as they approached the familiar, police-heavy domain of the Safe Zone's outer gates Emma looked up once again. Light began to crackle and seep through the heavy black clouds, sputtering and fighting back to life. In a matter of a minute the blood moon faded from view as the black clouds parted, leaving only the innocent - if not slightly drab - grey-blue atmosphere around them. Whatever was happening it couldn't be natural. Emma looked back to Luke as they reached the police barricade, "They're kind of in a transitional period, you coming?"
APOLLO | Jay Hearne Kathy's - Afternoon Jay made the most pathetic semblance of breathing he could muster, panting back and forth desperately chasing any fraction of a breath he could find. "N- No..." he heaved, "I-I'm fffffff..." As quickly as it had begun, light crept its way back into the decrepit caff, the red skies dissipating to a boring blue. Still curling up tightly, Jay felt his muscles kick as he threw himself onto his back in a spasm, his joints suddenly jumping into action. On his back he took a series of deep breaths as the multiple image of Haley doting over him slowly swirled and flickering back into one image. He looked up at her, the concern in her face, but most notably the pain and restraint in her eyes. "H-H-H-Haley." he whimpered, "What happened?"

"I'm not too sure." Haley replied as she made sure that the only thing Jay hit as he spasmed was her leg instead of the metal edge of the furniture. It wasn't really a lie even as she swallowed more of the salty taste of her own blood. It was from that place. The place she wanted to get away from so badly.
"You just suddenly fell, we've got an ambulance coming you'll need to see a doctor. Have you had a fit before?" It was all a bunch of mundanities that made her feel grounded. She could make sure he was okay, that would keep her mind from panicking. Help fight off her overwhelming urge to give in, to feed.
"Please stay awake." I don't think I can keep this up if you lose it again too.She finished the sentence silently inside her head, the tears from before already drying on her warm cheeks.

~ The Puppet Servant and Snowflake ~ Before a response could be uttered, the sky turned black, the bright red moon shining down on them like a threat of impending doom making even Reginald wide eyed as they watched the astronomical phenomena take place. The whole scene changed as swiftly as it had happened, leaving them in almost shock as Lorraine, after a little moment, caught on to what Cooper said and only nodded. On this rare occasion her face was clear, filled with confusion and fear. The two people left on the roof stood back, watching Cooper as he fled towards the thunder’s source, and took a few moments to stare at the sky as if expecting the lightshow to come back. When nothing happened, Reginald decided to break the ice with a less than sensitive comment aimed to strike Lorraine unexpectedly. “That was almost like a shout from beyond the grave.” Reginald shrugged and turned back to Lorraine, who had frozen in place at the butler’s words. He, on the other hand, continued on as if nothing had happened. “That red-clad friend of yours is the reason you were chasing that man down there, if I’m not mistaken. But it’s time to stop now, Lorraine. You are wasting your time.” Snowflake froze at Reginald’s words, whereas the butler only watched her already narrowed eyes turn away to look in the direction Cooper had vanished. She responded by snapping her voice up a pitch. “You don’t know that!” “Yes, I do. He was executed by one of Acchilleus’ Vipers, and I saw it all.” “Then, why didn’t you stop them?” Lorraine clenched her fists, but now looked up at Reginald with a freezing, resolute face as she tried to hold back her tears. “I was too far away. There was nothing I could do.” “He could have faked it-“ “No, Lorraine. Listen.” Reginald stepped closer to the clearly heartbroken girl, wearing a mask of care over his content gloating. “I watched as that Viper cut his throat. He is dead, and there is nothing you can do about it.” Reginald paused and watched Lorraine almost writher in pain as her lower lip started quivering. “So tell me; why were you chasing that man? Do you want to waste your time on revenge, or were you deluded enough to think he could survive that?” “He’s done it before,” Lorraine mumbled, her once searching eyes now set on the ground underneath her, “That man, he fought with Crimson. I thought that maybe… I don’t know.” Reginald carefully watched his employers’ daughter and was tempted to relish in the pain she was feeling. The suffering she was experiencing was inevitable in the business they were in if one wasn’t cautious enough to keep things straight and relationships out of it. Reginald saw no harm in reminding her of that; it was simply his duty, and now he also had the opportunity to twist the knife a little as he placed a reprimanding hand on her shoulder. “There is no such thing as friends, Lorraine, only money and power. Everything else can be bought; friends, loyalty, even love. You don’t have to look further than your allies to find that’s true.” He paused for a second. “Do you consider this gang of yours friends?” Lorraine kept her eyes locked on the ground, though she visibly tightened her jaw and fists even more. She had a feeling she knew what the butler would say next. Reginald continued to speak; the softer the words the sweeter the poison. “Two of them are crazy, and Reaver… She clearly has a mind for business, as required by anyone who wants to survive in this world, but she isn’t really your friend either, is she?” Lorraine shrugged, only giving a half-hearted response as her voice had become thick. “She’s.. something else.” Reginald sighed wearily. “Don’t you remember what your parents taught you? Those immaculate lessons which was made to help see you through this life without pain?” “I do.” “Then why don’t you follow them for a change.” Lorraine looked up from the ground, a bit more composed than earlier. “What do you want me to do, anyways? Leave the Ravagers?” “That would be preferable.” “Well, fuck you then.” She spat, finally expressing some other emotion than concealed grief. “If that’s what you, or Mother and Father think, then you can screw off.” “Language.” Reginald withdrew his hand and straightened his back even more than usual. “And they only want what’s best for you and Felix. Right now he needs to learn a lesson and you need to resolve all this trouble you’ve brought on yourself. Becoming too attached to someone only leads to pain.” “I don’t need your opinion, or approval of what I do with my life.” Lorraine hissed again as she backed away. She had had enough of his chit-chatter, and clearly showed it as she started to turn her back on him. “Stop sticking your nose in my business and do what you’re here for.” “…as you will. Before you go, however, take my advice; revenge is not something you should preoccupy yourself with. It consumes your time, your life, and eventually your soul. Take it from me; just let it go.”“Fuck off,” she said sternly, walking away as she muttered under her breath, “I’ll chase down every Viper until I find the one who killed him, and you can’t stop me.” “Very well, if you choose to do so.” Reginald hid a grin, “And one last thing; I’ll take care of Felix so stay out of it. If anyone sees you nearby they won’t dare to make a move. We want this to end quickly for everyone’s sakes, don’t we?” “Yeah yeah,” Lorraine walked to the edge of the roof, scouting a way back to the headquarters from where she stood. In her head wheels had already started turning, much by the help of Reginald, as she started to plan what to do once she got there. “Once this ’hunt’ is done, tell me straight away, and give my love to Mother and Father. Tell them to stay the hell out of my business.” Once Lorraine had left, Reginald watched over the city, pulling out a tracker to find back to his lost target in need of protection. 'Naivety is a new trait of yours, Lorraine. How irksome.'

- DAGGER -
“I can’t do this,” uttered Sarah, it had been hours since she had resided in the small hotel room that had become unbearably cramped with an uncomfortable tension, as Sight and Sparrow went over what they had heard The Queen of Blood, and Ichor had been plotting. The dagger that was once summoned to her hand, disappeared as she could no longer feel comfortable holding it in her hands, not right now. What was once a source of comfort and safety soon became a burden of uneasiness and danger. Sight and Sparrow had proposed a dangerous plan, and Sarah was all for it until they told her the news. “We can’t do this. Maybe we can still talk her out of it.” Sight shook his head, a sullen expression on his face.
“I think... I don’t know what to think, Sarah,” It was soon after that, a shrill call rang out in the room as Sparrow answered the phone. Sarah and Sight listened intently, as almost like a command, they heard a familiar voice on the opposite end, Sparrow’s voice growing in desperation as he tried to explain the situation, stepping slowly towards the window. It was soon after when the phone hang up when whatever iotas of relaxation could begin to fill the room once more, Sarah narrowed her eyes as she saw a silhouette waving in the distance towards their window, and it took her only a second to realise that the figure was not waving. A bulky round object smashed through the window, scattering glass over the wooden floorboards.
“Get-” Sarah rushed to the other end of the room, as she only saw a blur of movement from Sight and Sparrow before the object exploded. Fire, smoke, and ash filled the room as the floor collapsed and Sarah found herself alone and hurt underneath the makeshift rubble which was once the floor of their room and her small bed at the end. Coughing and spluttering, Sarah got up, feeling an intense pain wrack itself in her ribs. People would come, ask questions, and with the absence of Sight, Sparrow, and the figure that caused this chaos, she had no choice but to flee. It didn’t take long before Sarah found herself scurrying out of sight down dark alleyways, long before the first signs of people crowded around the burning maw of a hotel on the busy street. But soon, Sarah, with just her unpacked backpack, found herself for the longest time, sticking to the alleyway shadows and empty streets, alone for now. In her mind, she had a plan to dethrone queens.

L had bags full of ingredients in either hand as she stumped back up the steps to the apartment. She had let the other two have their own bag each for their own ingredient picks giving them free reign to pick what they thought would go best in the pancakes. It had taken longer than she thought it would but then again keeping track of Twelve and Cybelle in a supermarket had been an experience in itself. Neither of them seemed to have any innate sense of hiding.
--
Ali was stumping along the streets with her stick skittering a little on left over patches of ice from the wild weather of the day before. She was focusing hard on the directions to the police station she had been given when she felt herself go over backwards as someone bumped into her. It wasn't a rushed push just one that caught her off guard at the moment she hit another patch of ice with her stick. There was a nasty snapping sound to accompany and when she looked up slightly dazed she was disappointed to see her stick split in two.
"I'm so sorry! I should really have been looking where I was going." A voice and calloused small hand appeared from above.
Ali took it grabbing her broken stick with her other hand. She could fix it in a few seconds but the old lingering habit of hiding her powers put her off from doing that, at least while this person in front of her made a fuss.
"It's okay no harm done to me." She replied a little more brusquely than she intended. "I was distracted myself with thoughts of my own. Tiredness does that to you."
"Are you okay to walk without your stick?" The figure retained a strong supporting grasp on her arm as they talked, brown eyes showing concern as they looked over the damage stick with an expression that was close to annoyance or worry it was hard to tell.
Ali opened her mouth to lie that it was fine but sighed as the lie caught in her throat. "I'm.. No probably not. I'm just about alright when its dry but the ice catches me out."
"Look I feel terrible." The person's accent softened the r's and sounded reasonably chummy as they took Ali by the arm. "I'll come along with you to where ever you're going."
"Are you sure? I'm heading to the police station that's a couple of blocks over.. Are you sure that's okay?" Ali screwed up her face, happy for the kindness but also regretting not just fixing her stick so she could get on with her day.
The person smiled, the creases reaching those murky brown eyes and replying. "Of course its fine I was just having a day of strolling in any case.. My names Valentine."
They extended a free hand Ali shaking it warmly.
"And i'm Ali. Thank you very much Valentine."
"No problem at all." The smile extended becoming sharper around the edges.

- RAVEN -
Lilly sat down, the sun rising as she nursed the cup of tea in her hands, staring through her window at the arrangement of steel and glass that had crafted the city skyscrapers. Every once in awhile she saw splotches of red, white, any arrangement of colours against the blue sky, a hero or a villain flying around. She sighed as she took another sip, the warmth subsiding the cold goosebumps that prickled upon the back of her hands and arms. She was distracted, the news of Acchilleus’ rise to power had caught wind and the city had reached a vibe of intensity that she could only recall feeling three years ago, the night when everything began. It wasn’t just Acchilleus that had her worried, it was Luke. A familiar tone filled the air.“Yeah,” Lilly spoke out as she fished for the phone in her pocket, a weak smile as she pondered one of the three phones that Luke had been working on in his “recovery”. The speakers blasted with the sound of rushing air and crumbling rocks underfoot before she heard his voice.“Hey, I didn’t find anything,” Though somewhat rushed and hard to hear, Lilly was relieved to hear Luke in a tone that didn’t seem to be strained, at least not as much as it had been the week before. He sounded okay, but what was more pressing was the lack of news. “Nothing at all?” asked Lilly, she heard another scamper of rock and dirt.“Well that Safe Zone thing of his is actually working, he’s expanding and I’m noticing way more Vipers than there should be,” replied Luke. Lilly cursed underneath her breath. “Right,” noted Lilly, there was a long pause, one that even the void of the sky with its rushing winds and Luke’s quick breaths could ever fill, it made her contemplate and think as the two of them had barely recovered in their own ways, it felt as if the blood between them had only barely dried. “How about you? Are you doing-”“Lilly, I’m fine,” interrupted Luke. “Look, I’ve gotta go, I’ll call you later if I find anything.” Lilly audibly sighed. “Yeah, sure,” She replied, it was not a second later that Luke hung up and she placed the phone down, keeping her eyes on the city skyline. She wondered if Luke was on any of the rooftops that were in her sight, framed against the rising sun. She contemplated the Safe Zone, in a way Acchilleus planted himself like a rose, except instead of being something beautiful to be picked up, it was something dangerous. One which had a viper curled to bite you, and thorns ready to prickle your skin, and right now she wondered if they were ever going to end him before he inevitably attacked, a part of her knew now that it was too late, and now the wait began. Her tea grew cold.
