~ Snowflake ~ Snowflake blinked, she’d been lost in thought when Reaver approached her. There wasn’t any point in telling Reaver about the encounter with Crimson earlier, at least not at the moment. “It’s nothing.” She shrugged and glanced at the bridge. It seemed like the gates could come down at any minute. “But I do wonder what my brother is going to do now… He’s been inside that fortress for two months straight; he’s definitely got a plan, or an escape route, or the very least a way to sneak out without us noticing- oh!” She exclaimed as she saw the gates open on the other end of the bridge and an army emerge from it. “Looks like we’re ready to roll.”
- Felix - As the army marched on out, a smaller figure stood back and looked up at the sky. Felix knew Ripley was watching, but unlike the mutant he didn’t see the Citadel as a home that needed defending. Felix had made sure to suit up as best he could to blend in with the crowd, to the point where even the Broker didn’t recognize him standing a fair few feet behind Ripley in the crowd. The gunfire rang out while the blitzing storm started to come down on the people waging war against each other, and Felix snuck his way towards one of the vehicles left in the courtyard. He had seen the mercenaries carry a lot of weapons out of them and hoped to find something that he could defend himself and Ripley with if the mercenaries’ defenses didn’t hold.

- SKYLARK - Aderyn decided it would be best not to thank Venator for the aid, in order to remain threatening to the Viper. Instead, she nodded with gratitude, and then took slow steps toward him. She stretched her wings out further, and once she was close enough to her target, she placed her foot on one of his slouched legs. "Talk." Though he attempted to look strong, it was easy for Aderyn to spot the Viper's quivering jaw. Despite this, he remained silent. With one hand restrained, all she had to do was use her other foot to hold down the other. Once this was complete, and her prisoner was fully constrained, she paused for a moment, considering her actions. If Johnny were here, if Cassie were here she wouldn't do this. But they weren't: all that was present in Aderyn's world right now was herself, Venator, the Viper, and the distant sounds of battle. She frowned, and then squatted on the spot; using the position to wrap one of her wings around her prisoner's face. He began to wail with the struggle that ensued. She felt as he began to attempt to wrestle his arms free, to no avail. He kicked his legs around, but with nothing constructive to do with them. She let a few more moments of suffocation to pass before releasing her wing, grabbing the Viper by his hair. Holding the head back, Aderyn leant in close to his ear and growled, "The Harvester. Talk. Now."

~Dr Clueless~ Clueless headed for the door and opened it quickly and headed down the hallway "alright Q-bot we need to get out of here, i dont really want Achilleus heel to find out we were here" 'CRASH!' Clueless flinch, closed his eyes and gritted his teeth, opening one eye and turning around the Q-bot was holding the door in one hand with a large hole behind him "will you stop breaking things!" Clueless shouted as he walked over and grabbed the door and leaned it on the wall, "no go down stairs, ill deal with this... fiasco" he said pulling out a maker and waving his hands around, as the Q-bot headed down the stairs Clueless wrote on the door ' someone broke this, will fix later, Dr C' putting the lid back on and putting the pen away he walked down the stairs where the Q-bot was waiting, walking around it Clueless stepped out side shivering for a moment he pulled his lab coat around his chest to keep warm "hate snow... its too cold" he said as he made his way to an exit, walking past a radio that was still on it was spouting out news updates on what was going on "this snow storm is really picking up Jen, but not as much as the battle at the Citadel, most of the streets are being cleared out as we speak" the man said with the spinning blades of the helicopter in the background

- Jonathan Kramer - They were closing in, the duel between a murderer and a woman who wants to improve on the inside, the one he appointed, and the other he turned away. There was no time for distractions, and he saw Acchilleus on the otherside. One last chance. "Drop your weapons and leave Acchilleus, this doesn't have to end in bloodshed!"

Jason stood at the Broker's right side, taking a stance than emphasized his strength and stature as he faced down the horrifying army that faced him. Fear gripped him but he would hold his ground, because Jon needed him to. He would hold the line and fight until he could no longer. His family were at risk, and today, Jason would hold nothing back. He would not allow that of himself.
Shade took a position on the other side of the Broker to Jason, and carefully examined what faced them. Acchilleus had an army, a goddamn legion of killers... Fuck, she was dead. They all were dead. Might as well go down swinging...

- ACCHILLEUS -
“This doesn’t have to end in bloodshed,” declared Acchilleus as the fighting around them continued, bullets spraying at one another as Acchilleus for once glared at The Broker, once and for all. The bullets and blood whipped around them as the snow continued to fall at a harsh rate, the winter’s winds clashing against their skin. The two forces had finally met in the middle of this bridge, and now both their armies were clashing, open warfare for all as some had already resulted in melee fighting when guns could not commit the damage that they needed, wrestled out of arms and tossed aside on the snowy floor.Bodies and their wide eyes looked up at those that passed them, almost begging again for the life they once had as it depleted from them like the air that left their throats or the blood that descended from the veins in their body. Some were lucky enough to die all at once, a simple shot to the head and the serenity of death in all its darkness was ready to greet them, the sound of fighting blurred out into the world. Acchilleus looked around at this bloodshed, making sure that he was careful not to get shot.
Rick was an animal, a ferocious beast that was ready to meet his opponents with weapons or hand-to-hand. The other side was already fighting back on their own accord, destruction and death just seemed to happen at every moment, all around them. Some way say too many lives were lost in the conflict but know that either way, there would be more to come. The ferocity and futility of the battle was expressed on faces from either side, Acchilleus still continued to gaze at The Broker, as he wondered, contemplated, had this been what was going to happen from the very start? Was this all were everything was heading since then? Acchilleus, had a feeling that, that was the case. Even so, he continued on in his pursuit for power, but it wasn’t just power that he wanted. The Broker had made him a proposition, and it was time for his response.
“This doesn’t have to end in bloodshed.” Acchilleus repeated. “I want it to end in bloodshed.”

- JONATHAN KRAMER - The man was insane, he had lost his mind for the desire of power and blood. He admitted said desire, and Jon had hoped that the drone picked up this ranting remark. His reign ends here, one way or another. Jonathan placed his riot shield in front of him. "So be it," he uttered, and the rest of the force took their defensive positions, riot shields and all.

Sienna was enjoying herself. It was a final bright freedom of being able to beat the utter crap out of someone without having to worry about hiding from the police right away. She wanted to dive further towards them. Feel her skin open and embrace those in front of her. To hell with the consequences. This was the moment she was still alive for.
--
Kay continued to watch. It was all just distant enough where they stood that they could pretend it was a gathering for some sporting event, the fans cheering and jeering each team. It was only a slight shame it was a blood sport.
It wasn't time yet to do what they had to do. There was no point dirtying themselves in others blood. Not anymore. No not anymore.
--
Ali skidded her way to a stop just before the starting set up of their mobile support team. SHe breathed a sigh as she wobbled off the vehicle clutching at her cane. The weather was horrible and she felt soaked through to the skin as she reached the enclosure.
A moment before she would take control she sent a message to Clyde. A small reflex to check he was okay, something she should have done in the past.
"Hows it looking your end?"

ROGUE | Natalia Vargas She held her brother tight for what seemed like an eternity until - when the moment was over - she placed her hands on his shoulders and eased him forwards, looking him in the eye. He was considerably taller than her but she had a presence that transcended her height. "It wasn't your f―" Sirens blazed as a notification flashed up on Blake's oversized monitor. Impulsively, Natalia dropped everything and played the message; an aged and unfamilar voice reverberating through the halls of the chamber. " We are in a state of emergency right now. It seems clear that Acchilleus and the Broker are fighting it out, we will not take a side. I repeat: the Tower will not side with either party.
There will likely be collateral damage in this fight, Operative Sanator Hippocratia will coordinate rescue missions and aid attempts for any civilians.
As for registered heroes, Acchilleus has brought the Ravagers along with him. You will apprehend these criminals, and any other as your prime directive, whilst try your best to neutralise the threat whilst staying neutral.
Warden out." Tapping keys frantically, Natalia shut off the sirens but then the twins simply stood there, in silence, as the message washed over them. Though Blake was MIA it seemed his comms link to The Tower was still active, this message was meant for him - seemingly a real hero. This left the twins lost and confused as to what to do. Natalia knew they couldn't just sit back, not again. Damian had taught them that the hard way. Though at the same time this broadcast called for registered Tower heroes, not two spies in fancy armour. Fuck it. They were helping The Tower minimise these damages all they could.

The forces collided and the world went entirely to shit. Jason waded into the massed enemy with all the force he could muster, shattering bones with every punch. A man tried to strike him with a bat, and for his trouble got an uppercut to the head that snapped his neck in one blow. The young man held nothing back, knowing what was at stake. As he hurled two men off the bridge, an idea came into his head. He rushed to the edge of the bridge to where one of the metal lampposts that lit the bridge stood. Grasping it in both hands, he ripped it from the ground and began swinging it in great, fast sweeps through the ranks of Acchileus' army, crushing brutes and knocking thugs into the icy water far below.
Shade's arms became blades as she met with the first of the Viper mercenaries that the enemy had brought with them, who carried a rifle and watched with stern confidence. He leveled his weapon at the nightmarish creature charging him, and opened fire. When it passed right through her, his eyes widened in fear, but he had no time to react before he was impaled on the wicked sharp appendages. "Come on you fuckers! Give it your best shot!" She taunted, hacking at anyone who came near like a wild beast who knew death was coming, and didn't care anymore.
"Okay then..." Nariko surveyed the battle before her, and shrugged. It was messy, but now was as good a time as any to fuck over the Broker. "Open fire!" As one, the Adamant Marauders took firing positions and began to fire a surge of death into the rear ranks of the Citadel's defenders. Nariko joined her own shots into the barrage, as thirty six rifles spewed forth hundreds of rounds into their unsuspecting victims. There would be no thought of mercy tonight.
"Alright ladies, lets do this thing!" Reaver called out to her Ravagers, raising her sword high in the air. "Fuck 'em up!" At that, she began to run towards the melee, ready for the terrible elemental power of her team to rain in over her head.

((I'll format these posts when I get on a laptop))
KINETIC WARDEN
The Warden had ordered operatives capable of flight, super speed, and teleportation to reach the Citadel post haste. As he fell into that bracket, he had arrived at the fringe of the battle fray when Ali sent her message.
"I won't lie, with Argent absent we are immediately on the back foot; but we have to do this. Good luck, Ali."
He then sent a group message to those heroes who had reported in,
"Engage when you can, and assist civilians wherever possible."
ESTEBAN VARGAS
Even with their special gift, the twins often found they didn't need to say anything to one another. He enjoyed the embrace for the time it lasted, but as the sirens rang, he put his emotions to one side.
He supposed it was almost like getting an assignment from Apex: the mission became before himself (though never Natalia). As his sister turned off the alert, he simply nodded, and walked to the lift, awaiting her.

- JONATHAN KRAMER - Nariko! He knew the vibe they gave off was uncanny, and it appeared to be more of a warning sign than anything. "GET DOWN!" he yelled to his troops before the barrage started to fire. Vast majority, including Jon, dropped to the floor and let the bullets fly into the swarm, but a few were unfortunately caught in the crossfire. Jason gave Jon a small idea, they needed to strike Nariko to open a new window. "JASE!" he yelled, before signalling him to throw the lamppost at the mercenaries.

Jason span around, bringing the lamppost through the enemy ranks as he did so, and faced the mercanaries who were now shooting the prone men and women in a continuous stream of fire. Enraged, he hurled the lamppost like an enormous javelin, before turning back and backhanding a Viper off the bridge.
"Oh shit!" Nariko yelled as she watched the throw. It was a long through, but it was moving fast. Nariko and a good number of her men were forced to scatter to the side and drop to the floor as the metal pole rocketed overhead, before landing in the Citadel grounds itself. Disorganised and surprised, it would take a few seconds for the fire to begin again.

Ali rubbed her wet brow and headed to the troops. A tent had been set up with equipment being shuffled in. There were already a few bedraggled civilians being checked out for injury then shuttled on to somewhere warmer and safer.
"Right we need to set up in teams of three for extraction. Preferably at least one strong and another fast. I'm sure you all know who you work best with. One must always be on the watch for problems while the other two extract civilians. Bring them back here and our joint healing teams will work with the local hospitals."
She looked at the map once more ready on a tabletop. A physical representation made her feel calmer.
"Start at the outer edges and move in. Scout before you do anything. We don't want to have to send in a team to patch you up. Twice the work for all of us then. Now get on it."
The last was a snap. If they had questions they would ask. If they didn't she had work to do.
--
Sienna heard a rallying cry from an enemy. She spotted a whirling figure of shadow slashing around like a maniac. Absolutely perfect.
Sienna dodged towards them.
"I'm coming honey. Keep your limbs on." She yelled back as she got closed leaping forward with her little knife and bloodied fists. The tiny cut on her head dribbling like a scar cutting across her face.
--
Kay was uncomfortable in this position. A glance behind indicated a cordon and base being set off down the streets. It was getting too busy here. They shook their haed at their habit of gaining rooftops and began to climb.
Once they reached the top a little tension dropped away. Better vantage and that little taste of freedom, with no one around. Well they thought there was no one. A flash of movement caught their eye a few roof tops over. It was a curious thing. Whose side were they on?
Kay's curiosity was suddenly overwhelming. It was a thing to do while they waited at least. They skidded in the wet and snow from rooftop to rooftop. It was nigh impossible to remain quiet but they tried their best.

From high above the skies, Oren sat on a chair made of paper. An umbrella held in one hand stopped the snow from falling onto him and a pair of binoculars to sit and watch with. His eyes were trained solely on Sienna, though, ensuring that if any harm came to her he'd spot it and descend from the skies to kill the attacker. He knew Alice would be fine but she was of equal importance too. Behind him an entire flock of paper cranes hung delicately, he'd spent a while getting lots of paper.
-----
Like a bird Ripley occasionally swooped down, blasting Vipers with sonic screams causing them to grab their ears in pain as he attacked. Though bullets were shot at him they all had the aim of a storm trooper, probably due to the heavy snow.
-----
As the scythe came towards Monica felt as though the fear in her had washed away, right now she was filled with the adrenaline of battle. When the scythe got close to her she ducked, the scythe whistling overhead, cutting a few hairs that hadn't quite caught up with her. Moving with quick efficiency Monica stuck her leg out and swung at the attackers legs, hoping to knock him off balance.
----
Like a beast Inferno pounded into the heat of battle behind Reaver. Blasting fireballs at anyone's face she could see Inferno felt the rush course through her body, the screams of those who tried pat out the fire that consumed them only served to make Inferno deadlier.
