- Knight - As Starlass walked down the corridor to ascend the stairs, Blake interjected calmly; easily as he stood relatively above most of the girls: "Starlass, everything alright?" he asked. She looked stressed, tired.

- Starlass - Starlass subconsciously rubbed her eyes thanks to Knight's question. "Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry. I just wish I could get some rest." At that moment, the Tower receptionist called Starlass over, to relay the Broker's message on to her. "Starlass - the new High Chancellor requests that the Knight, Fear, and yourself make an audience at his office in the citadel. A map directing you there has been loaded on the screen behind me." Almost simultaneously, she received the transmission from elsewhere in the tower, asking her to search for Argent Mind. Starlass sighed, and half-heartedly smiled at Knight. "Looks like that rest won't be happening just yet. The 'High Chancellor', whoever that is, wants to meet with us, as well as the newcomer," she gestured to Fear, "And they sound rather important, so we should probably get there quickly." She moved to open the door for the two, considering what to do about the Argent Mind situation. Her best course of action came to her quickly, and she changed the frequency on her communicator back to her team's. "Compound, Nimbus... if you two are still near the Pineapple, I have another assignment for you. Argent Mind is MIA, last known location not far from you. Could you see if you can find him? He's likely to be underground nearby." - Compound- Compound received Starlass' communication and nodded. "Alright, I'm on it." He tapped Nimbus on the shoulder, to confirm that he'd also received the message. "Did you get that one too? We need to go find Argent Mind. Would your 'friend' have any information on where he could be?" - The Warbanders - The Warbander general stepped forward and kneeled. "I am the leader of this group. We have separated ourselves from the Warbanders who have claimed southern Heartania, and wish to instead offer ourselves to you in service of that grand citadel."

- The Broker / The Pursuer - The Pursuer almost drew out his blade, but with a simple left arm held out by the Broker he stopped. The Broker looked around, eyes of those who fought or lost friends and family yesterday had their eyes on them, some could be about to call for their heads. The Broker focused on the leader and stepped down the steps and into the courtyard proper. "The people under me and the High Council would have you executed and your heads hung at the City Hall or other landmarks to send a message to the rest of your clan and those that took part in yesterday's chaos." The Pursuer took interest and almost stepped forward. "But the terms of your execution will ultimately be up to me." He looked at the people behind the woman, and asked "Why have you come here after yesterday night?" "We do not wish anymore bloodshed, we do not want to make the mistakes our former leader Ares made--" "You went into a busy shopping mall, massacred the place, went to battle with the police and even displayed public executions in front of a hospital." He took another look, their heads went down. "Your leader was a fool and if you are sorry for your mistakes then you wouldn't have performed them, regardless of tradition. You're only sorry that you've lost." He took another look before looking at the Pursuer. "You know why they call his position 'The Pursuer'?" "I....I don't think so...." The Broker turned back. "Because their job is to hunt people with supernatural abilities and execute the orders of the High Council, and since I am a representative of the High Council that means if I tell him to go hunt then he will. You all may be able bodied and strong and knowing but The Pursuer will find you and take care of you." He looked at all of them one by one as he walked by them all. "You will all be assigned work, whether it be maintaining the fortress or patrolling the walls. You will be given basic accommodation, basic food, and the bare essentials as punishment for your crimes against the city." He walked back to the steps and walked up. "Furthermore, you will not leave this fortress as of this second. And if you do The Pursuer is authorised from hereon out to use whatever means necessary to bring you back here, where your fate will be decided." He looked back at the woman in charge, who faced up. "If what you are saying is true, that Ares is still out there and the rest of your clan has taken part of Downtown, then that means I have some cleaning up to do." He faced back up. "You will go with The Pursuer to your new home, and you will be assigned your roles by my staff." The Broker stepped back and walked inside, where Luke was watching. With concern, he stopped suddenly and asked "Is there something troubling you Luke?" *** The Pursuer stepped down from the stairs and looked at each of the dozen or so people, armed and armoured. "All of you, hand over your weapons and armour, now." Some were hesitant, while some were so afraid that they immediately followed the order. The staff members under the High Chancellor quickly wisked the equipment away, before The Pursuer stared at one to come to him. "Do you have any equipment that will differentiate the staff from the prisoners?" "We have some black gear laced with light yellow that they could wear, different from the others" "Would you be able to have this equipment ready quickly?" "It would take a few minutes but yes." The Pursuer looked at the prisoners and told them to follow. Instead of the main doors he lead them down one of the side balconies, and they went lower and lower. They came to a metal door and it was opened for them all. Inside was a large room, and behind it were some cells, the area clearly designed to hold prisoners in case of emergency. The Pursuer ordered them inside the isolated windowless cells, before the doors were closed and they awaited their new uniforms, and orders.

- Lazarus - The Rook looked at Ares, he really wanted to shoot him. He finally got a hold of himself and motioned at the hospital they had set up, "Fine. Go in. Maybe you can help move some supplies around or something." Dominic had done his part as a doctor, fixing up and closing many of Cooper's life-threatening wounds. He now assisted Sarah with fixing the augmented limbs, so that Cooper could properly function. He could wake up now, though he probably wouldn't be able to move. The couple worked feverishly, as they had with all the other people who had arrived at their medical stations that day, though nonetheless, still tired and stressed, the same as just about everybody working away in the garage. A receptionist at the headquarters of Hephaestus technologies received Jade's phone call. He'd once been on the streets, but had gotten into one of the outreach programs that Hephaestus Technologies offered and had gotten a job. He wasn't skilled in the sciences like some of the unemployed students that the Elliots hired to work in the labs for research, but still, he had a job and a decent income to afford housing. And for that, he and many other of the low-income citizens of Heartania appreciated the efforts of the Elliots. The Hephaestus Building, which was the headquarters of the company, had also provided ample security for the conflicts out on the streets, and several of the hired employees had rushed their families there because they lacked better protection. The building had been plunged into a lockdown and the highest security measures had been activated, as well as some powerful prototype security that had never been seen by anyone before. They had all functioned as planned. The building security, the building itself, and its contents were all state of the art. The receptionist hadn't really been expecting a phone call, and he coughed casually before remembering his formalities on the phone, "You've reached Hephaestus Technologies, this is Chris, how can I help you?"

- Fear - It was quit suprissing for her to hear that someone requierd her even before she had gotten to introduse herself properly. SHe was only able to think of few knowing abouth her at all, and no one that would know why she was in the city and that she would be at the tower. But she only noded as a response before following Starlass, who more or less looked like she needed rest more than anything right now. SHe would have offered to teleport them al to save some time if she knew the location they where going to, but she did not and a map would not help there, and the danger of getting stucked in a wall or something would not be plesent. For now she was quiet, mostly wondering how anyone would know that she was at the tower, she just got there. And who would even know of her, the last record of her was abouth 10 years old and stating that she died along whit her family.

- La Mirage - "Ah. This is Jade Blythe." She said, emphasizing on her last name. It had proven useful more times than she could count, often putting her first in a long line of people waiting to speak with the person in charge. "I would like to speak with Sarah Elliot, please."

- The Pursuer - The Pursuer waited for a little bit before some staff members came through the door with some uniforms and a checklist. The cell doors opened and the clothes went in. The cell doors closed again, and the staff lined themselves up to provide jobs for these new residents. Some on day or night guard duty, some just doing cleaning, and maybe two cooks to assist with the kitchens. One by one the dozen or so people told each staff member about themselves and what they did during their time. One by one they were given their duties, some left the area immediate like the cleaners, cooks, and daytime duty guards, the others were given an opportunity to go back to sleep with the cell doors open. They were also given some decks of cards to pass the time. The Pursuer did single one person out though, the female in charge. "You!" he commanded, and the female took notice. "Come with me." The female did look a little worried, but followed like so. The two walked up the stairs and into a side entrance. There they could see the former Wastelanders getting introduced to their roles on the walls, while the female took notice. "You managed to get a clan from the wasteland in line with barely a word spoken...quite fascinating." "Fear is a powerful weapon, and if you may forgive the High Chancellor's words it was necessary. It is a time of crisis, and your people were involved. It's lucky that the staff members respect the Chancellor's words and actions." The two went inside and the female was curious. "Where are you taking me?" "If what you way is true, that means there's still a group of you out there. We can find them and maybe offer the same terms." The woman looked a little concerned. "The ones that stayed behind were the ones more dedicated to fighting, you think you or the 'High Chancellor' can negotiate". "I'd imagine they'd be offered the same terms. Surrender and help repair the problems here at The Citadel, or die for their heinous crimes. Over 30,000 people died in the span of 8 hours, and your band contributed to a good number. If the High Council were in charge of your fate, you would be executed in an instant." Through another set of doors, the two saw three staff members baffled by a regular door. One tried to unlock it, another tried to crowbar it open, and another tried unscrewing the lock. Seeing The Pursuer, one of them went up to him and said "Pursuer, we're having difficulty getting this door open, you got a way to open it?" The Pursuer looked at the door, an odd look. "Where does this lead to?" "One of The Citadel's towers, but unlike the others there isn't a second door we can get through, and conventional methods to open it aren't working." The Pursuer looked again and ordered everyone to "stand back!". With a heavy slash, stab, and swing, The Pursuer heard massive clashes, crunches, and the sound of metal crashing come from his swings. When he looked up, he was surprised to see that the door was not only still intact, but that the attacks didn't even scratch it. "Inform the High Chancellor, we've got a problem." The three staff members took their leave and The Pursuer lead the female into another room, a large room with a map of Heartania in the middle. "So tell me, what happened to this other band?"

- Lazarus - Chris shrugged, there was nobody calling anyways, everybody probably expected their phones to be down, which they had for a decent amount of the night, to be fair, "Alright, hold on Ms. Blythe." He called Sarah's phone. Dominic picked up and Chris got the first word in, "Hello, I've got a Jade Blythe on the phone...are you busy Dominic?" Dominic blinked, "Sure, Sarah's got her hands full right now, but I can talk." Chris put the calls together and left the line between Dominic and Jade. Dominic put the phone on speaker and stood next to Sarah while she continued trying to fix the final problems with Cooper's limbs. She was getting a little more focused, though what she had been seeing had still obviously taken a toll on her. Dominic then spoke, "Hello Jade. This is Dominic, Sarah's husband. She- Actually, we're both a bit busy at the moment, if this isn't an emergency, can you call us back later?"

- La Mirage - "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt anything." Jade said, holding back a yawn. "It's not an emergency, although it is rather important. I'll call you back in half an hour, how does that sound?" Her head rested heavily against the deckchairs pillow, and she felt her eyes close against her will.

- La Mirage - "To make a long story short; I'm currently gathering as much funds as possible to help rebuild the city. Whatever you're willing to give makes a difference, though we do need every penny we can get." She smiled confidently. "And as it's marked as charity, your income tax will be reduced for a while- depending on how much you give, that is. How does that sound?" She stopped for a second. I sound like I'm trying to sell a car.

- Hunter - Luke turned towards The Broker, somewhat shocked by his display of power over those people in the crowd. For a first time, he was somewhat worried at what was happening. "Those men- I mean, do you think it's safe to lead them like that? What if they turn against you?" Luke asked, glancing over at the crowd who seemed to be dispersing.

- Nimbus - "Argent Mind? MIA, huh? That's a problem. I'll get right to it. Also, Compound, I don't think Blacklist can help us out here. Do you know any way we can get underground? Maybe there's a metro entrance on the sidewalk somewhere?" Nimbus asked aloud, panning his vision across the snowy and deserted streets. Whoever would be in charge of cleaning up the wreckage of the roadways would be in for a long time. Also, the snow was beginning to melt due to the sunrise. - Sin Shaman - The sorceress had shaken her head in silly amusement after hearing Black Bird's remark of her portal magic. However, the girl did not wait for anything and stepped right into the portal after examining it for a moment. "There's no hurry!" Sin-Shaman sprang into the portal right after Black Bird, vanishing within it before the magical circle of swirling colors closed in upon itself. The portal disappeared, leaving only the magnificent graffiti of the brick wall. The two females entered an enormous atrium, where magical flames danced within the mouths of the numerous torches decorating the walls. Rows upon rows of towering bookshelves ran along the walls of this tall room. Mechanical catwalks ran up to the higher bookshelf levels, where even more tomes and books were located. It seemed as if this room had been meant as an aircraft garage, due to its spacious nature and the giant machinery spokes running along the ceiling. Connected to the library was a helipad, which Sin-Shaman treated more like a balcony. The edges of the sprawling platform were akin to a fantasy garden of alchemical vegetation and potted plants. "This is my library, little girl. Browse to your hearts content, I do not give this privilege to just anyone, so disrespect my books and I shall be very unhappy. Don't mind me, I need to search in the supernatural aisle. At least 'tis quiet here, the voices of the wretched in the city are insufferable. Wisp, accompany the girl and monitor her."

- The Broker - The Broker looked at the courtyard as The Pursuer lead the former Wastelanders down the side entrance. "They came here out of their own free will. They came because they knew that our presence here could endanger them. They knew that if we were to find them they would be killed on the spot as punishment for their crimes. Given to any other place they would be locked away forever or killed, and while that is the same here they have a chance to help repay their crimes." He looked at Luke. "Here, in the Citadel, are many people who would have killed them on the spot, they took part in yesterdays massacre. Do you think it's fair that they repay their crimes or should I let them go scott free?"
