- The Aviator -
The Aviator began to strut his stuff down the street. It was late night, he was wearing his three quarter length chinos and a vest with the words 'YOU WISH YOU WERE ME' in large bold font and he definitely didn't forget his bright neon red chunky trainers. The hair was on point in a beautiful flowing quiff and made all the ladies stare.
They want it so bad. "Hey ladies, there's enough of me to go around ok?"
The girls smirked at him because the reason they were staring was because he looked like a complete and utter douchebag. Dean hadn't had any action in a while in terms of his mercenary career and he needed something juicier than that total fail of a fight at the stadium. Anyway, it could wait until tomorrow. He quickly sent out a burst e-mail to various heroes across the city along with a picture of his six pack because he wanted to impress any potential females out there. Dean walked into a nightclub after knocking out the bouncer of course. He continued to the bar and ordered some of his own energy drink. Sprinkling a few drops onto the bar surface, he scraped the fluid into a line with a razor and proceeded to snort it up. Anything in too large an amount would surely kill him due to the insanely high caffeine content. After that kicked in he really perked up and then ordered a couple of shots and downed them instantly, followed by a flex at the bar despite the fact that no one was looking at him. It was then time to head over to the dance floor and get grinding on some chicks.

- La Mirage - Jade peeked over the top of the menu and was surprised by what she saw; Michael in his best outfit. Unlike him, she’d put on a simple purple dress out of convenience rather than choice as the restaurant was of the pretty decent but not to expensive kind. She smiled and put down her menu, having already decided what she would eat. “Good, thanks.. I’m glad you could come.” She yawned. “And you? How have you been these past days?”

- The Zap - "Me? I've been exhausted. Not a good bank hiest in a few days. After the fiasco at the museum I decided to lay low for a few days but, I'm planning something good tomorrow." He replied being rather flat out with Jade. "You can come out with me that night? Or are you going to be busy?" He further queried. A waitress came over asking for their order. "I'll have this" He couldn't pronounce its name and instead decided to show the woman his order from the menu. She nodded, turning to Jade and asking for hers.

- Marshal Maleficus - The Marshal stood silently as Ryder spoke. Despite being a connoisseur of evil; he believed in employing decent manners. Once he was finished talking, he snapped his fingers, signalling two morphs to stand either side of their master. One handed the Marshal an odd looking remote, with three switches, and a red button. "I do need a... favour. The Shadow Fixer. Adrian Cooper. The little runt is a waste of oxygen: oxygen that is better used for more capable subjects," one morph approached Ryder, handing him the remote. "You will find him, kill him, or bring him to me. That remote will help you. The first switch will deploy a dozen standard morphs to your aid; the second two dozen scout morphs. The third will deploy two monoliths of morphs, but only to be used in the most severe circumstance." He lifted his right arm, deploying his new power fist. Made from futuristic alloys, is was capable of all manner of functions, and would be the new centerpiece of his combat. "The red button... sends a distress call to me. I would advice against using that... I do not enjoy being disturbed. Any questions?" - Warlock - Esteban paused for a moment. He didn't need a twin link to know what Natalia was thinking, and vice versa. The twins felt remorse for what they were forced to do under Apex. He began to wonder what he could do in this suit. Warlock-1 transform, huh? "I cannot trust you at this moment, Knight. But I can join you... If Natalia will."

- The Aviator - Dean walked onto the dance floor and began to bust out his moves. Start with the cabbage patch. Alright now the macarena. Now let's cut some shapes to some house music. Hot damn I look so fucking cool. It wasn't too long before there was one girl who noticed him. All the other girls in the club stared at him in disgust but this girl thought he was cool. She was clearly a newbie to the clubbing scene and couldn't recognise a douchebag yet and so she began to dance with him. He continued to bring her over to the bar and buy her a drink and also do another line of his energy drink. "You're doing a line of energy drink?" she asked confused. "Hell yeah," he replied, "this is how hardcore and real men do it. Oooosh!" He flexed and beckoned her to feel his muscles and a clear expression of impressed spread across her face. A small bottle fell to the floor, his steroids. He quickly rushed to put them back into his pocket. "Are those muscles real?" she asked. "Damn straight." he replied with a sweaty forehead, "Wanna come back to my place sugar. We can have some coffee." "I don't know..." she replied hesitantly. Dean saw the hesitation and knew exactly what to do. The Womanizer 5000 Facial Expression. This was something Dean and only Dean could master and it truly showed his total douchiness in all its douchey glory. Bottom lip bitten to show a couple of pearly whites and connote sexy thoughts. Some raised eyebrows to create wrinkles in his forehead and a squint of his eyes, just like in his Instasnap posts. Then it happened. "Yes. Definitely." she replied almost instantly. And so that was that, they walked off into the night back to his apartment to have some "coffee". This poor girl would soon discover the side effects of his steroids as well as his total douchebag personality but it wouldn't stop Dean's neverending arrogance.

- The Queen of Hearts - "... you maniac." In that one moment Alice saw red to match her namesake. Taking no more than a second she moved, grabbing Oren by the scruff of his neck and heaving him into the air with her left hand. Taking her right hand, she pressed the button on one of her swords - causing the blade to retract - and held the blade to Oren's throat. "I shall not accept such disrespect. I am your commander." Her stare was cold, stern and terrifying, "You can keep making your jokes, but do not dare target them towards me again. There's morale and then there's mockery." She dropped him back in his place, removing her grip but keeping her sword at his throat, "That's two warnings today. There won't be another."

- The Pursuer - It seemed that someone got lucky tonight, though the behaviour was something to be concerned of, comes with the new job. Andras watched in confusion as an obnoxious party goer with the complexity of a puddle leave with a female...unusual for a gay club. "Freddie, I've got a guy with a girl, possibly drunk." "Andras, calm down. You're not with the High Council anymore, you're not a predator, you're a bouncer." Freddie was the security manager, keeping tabs on the security and watching the dance floors for anything suspicious. The obnoxious man did catch his eye, though it was during Andras' bathroom break. He had enjoyed the more simple and relaxed work, though he did admit it was insanely difficult to completely detach himself from his former duties. He was given The Mark of Shame only 8 hours ago, and it still stun, but from the reactions to the people below him, it didn't seem to invoke humiliation upon him. In fact some nice but obviously drunk men found it attractive, which did make Andras chuckle." "Do you think what he is about to do could be breaking the law? On drinking and sex?" "Possibly, but we do have his details." Andras was taken aback. "We know this guy?" "You think this is the first time that egotistical maniac has been around anywhere? His name is Dean Taylor, he posts too much about himself, one hell of a pilot though." Andras smirked at the remark. "Surely no one has more ego than my former bosses." It took a few more seconds for Freddie to get back to him. "The last selfie on InstaSnap he took was a mirror selfie, showing his 'roided up body with the caption 'Hashtag ripped. Hasktag gym. Hashtag get wrecked. Hashtag land of the free. Hashtag I'm better than you.'" Andras' cheekbone felt like it was trying to get away. The post itself was both hilarious and filled to the brim with cringe. It was clear that the female he took wasn't a smart woman, though if anything happened he will be the first to know who did it. He leaned back to the wall, and continued watching the door.

- Snowflake - Snowflake stomped out of the building, having delivered Felix to the helicopter ready to take him home while reaching a new level of anger. What had been her hair, pulled back in a pretty braid, had now transformed into a rope of fuzzy strands that was torn out of her chaotic hairdo. It seemed like somebody had tried gnawing their way through the braid and halfway succeeded. She had no intention of staying behind and waving him off, especially after the heated argument on their way to the makeshift airport. Her focus was now set on finding somewhere to rest for the night and keeping the Broker’s annoying voice out of her head. Right, I need to call Reaves and postpone the meeting. I can't meet her like this. - Felix Norwood - Felix yelled at Snowflake as she walked away, but was lifted up by the tall security guard sent by his parents to accompany him on his way home. In his weakened state (having not eaten anything sweet for several hours), he could do little else than squirm as he was carried away. “HEY! LET ME DOWN! HELP! SOMEBODY!” The large guard simply flung him over his shoulder and avoided Felix’s legs as he started kicking, aiming at the head covered with a black helmet. Nobody nearby stopped to look at the young boy making a scene as they hurried to their respective planes or helicopters, all depending on how much of their wealth they’d invested into a ticket out of Heartania. “Consider yourself lucky. You get a free ride home.” “BUT I CAN’T GO HOME! THEY NEED HELP! THEY NEED-“ “A hero? Heartania is full of heroes. Why don’t you just SHUT UP and take this ticket out of hell as quickly as you can?” “OUT OF HELL? YOU’RE DRAGGING ME BACK INTO HEL-“ Felix stopped squirming for a second; he’d just gotten an idea that could just work. He started shouting at the top of his lungs, knowing that somebody would be listening. “HEY! ONE FREE TICKET OUT OF HEARTANIA OVER HERE!!” The doors had opened with a loud squeak, but now he had finally gained somebody’s attention. The people nearby froze for a split second as the guard stepped out of the room with Felix. A young man took an indecisive step towards them and brought new strength to Felix’s exhausted voice. “THAT’S RIGHT! ONE FREE TICKET!!” Felix started kicking more ferociously. He caught a last glimpse of the young man quickly walking back into a line as the door closed inches from the tip of his nose. No, no, no, NO!! “NO!” Felix shouted yet again as he got carried from the building to the helicopter. He hissed under his breath as another guard appeared and helped the first one drag him into the helicopter. “He’s very lively, watch out fo-“ A kick right in the man’s jaw stopped him mid-sentence and sent him staggering backwards. “..his legs?” The smaller, masked guard pulled Felix aboard and pushed him into the back of the helicopter, where he hit his arms against what resembled a toolbox. The muffled female voice spoke and she pointed a finger at the slightly dazed Felix. “Stop it.” “NO! SOMEON-” The helicopter door closed immediately and left Felix’s shout ringing throughout the vessel instead of the makeshift airport. The reality of what awaited him back home suddenly hit him and left him limp on the floor; a few rounds of scolding, followed by reprimands and, probably, a lot harsher training program than what he had already been through the past couple of years. Felix tipped his head back in defeat and closed his eyes as he sunk down on the floor. There was no point in escaping now. As he listened to the steady rhythm of the helicopter’s rotor lifting them to the sky, he let out a heavy breath and prepared to sleep. No need in wasting any more time. He was going to need all the rest he could gather before he returned to the hell he called home. - La Mirage - A heist? Jade smiled and turned to the waiter. ..that might be just what I need. “This; medium. Three potatoes please.” The waitress nodded and took their menus with her as she left the table. Jade leaned forwards, tilting her head as she rested her chin in her hand supported against the table in a quizzical manner. “Something good, hmm?” She thought for a second. “I don’t think I have any plans.. On a scale from one to ten, how risky is it?” - Midnight Illusion - "So in some sense, I'm an interruption?" Midnight muttered an answer as her thoughts revolved around her latest idea. “Yes.. Unexpected and unpredicted..” She was about to start mumbling when the Broker asked her another question. "How did you find this out?" Once again, she made a gesture towards the man lying on the table. “He told me. Or, well, I tried reading his mind seconds before he died.” She shook her head. “But it didn’t make a lot of sense. Which!” She rose from the chair quickly. “Is why I’ve spent the past week tracking him down, trying to figure out where he is and why he is doing this.” With a wave of her hand the entire room started fading into a comfortable, white fog. “I also did a bit of mindreading and old-fashioned research, while getting some help from my friend..” Her face hardened under the mask at the painful memory, though the Broker wouldn’t notice it. “God rest her soul. Be very careful with who you trust, High Chancellor.” She turned to him. “Anything else you want to know?”

- The Zap - "Oh you know, The basics of course. Something easy to easy into. You know Garson & Arlasons?" Garson & Arlasons was the biggest jewellers in the entirely of Heartania. They were famous and well renowned for their expensive and quality jewellery. They were of course proud of it and Michael wanted to "damage" their reputation a bit. - Caeoimhin Oren Vermillion - Oren was a bit... taken back by Alice's response. He stared, cold eyed with his truly demonic form. 'Commander' He smiled on the inside, it was hilarious. He feigned a frightened face. "There's morale and then there's mockery." Oren wanted to die of laughter at that moment but he kept his face covered with the fake fear. Alice sure had a lot of moxie and anger pent up in her body. It was a nice little contrast. He let himself fall to the ground, taking the small blow to his body. The sword was unneeded but whatever made this maniac happy. "I'm sorry commander" He feigned his apology as well, it was great to cause this little bit of mischief. After all he had already seemed to perfect that face apology coupled with the sad face. Oren moved back quickly, hiding behind Sienna almost like a child. Another fake move. - Lady Magnet - Magnet felt... irritated actually. This whole mass debate was rather frustrating. She decided to finally speak up, "Mister High Chancellor. I have picked up on the fact that there has been some rather suspicious activities that have been had in the past day or two. I'm not exactly with my college with saying that you are entangled with this Reaver's business. But you know something, and we want to know what you know." - Lucielle - Lucielle let out a great yawn signalling her growing boredom. "Mister Marshal, I don't know... Will I get something for this? A big, juicy reward? I'm all for a nice little hunt but I can't eat the guy. Also, I don't need your robots, I could deal with them myself." - Inferno - Inferno was curled up in a ball in her old maintenance room. She was tired and gladly was happy to sleep in this situation. She ignored Reavers calls, in fact she was getting bored with Reaver. She was so... disappointing.

- Argent Mind - Argent Mind nodded slowly and turned around. "Be careful." He advised to the heroes. "He's a slippery individual and may try to get away." With a final look at Cooper, he walked back inside. - Reaver - Reaver sighed. Inferno was blanking her, so she was likely out. Not that it mattered, the woman had managed to avoid helping until the last moment during both previous missions. Her payment for the city of chaos, sitting safely in Reaver's bag, would be forefeit. Snow could have it- she was still being helpful at least. Taking another drink, she looked around and rolled her eyes at the Casino. So much money being wasted for no gain. She had to hand it to Card- he looked legitimate while scamming anyone who came near him. Brilliant, really.

- Cosmo - Damian had waited for the discussion to subside; partly due to interest, but also since the group effectively blocked the entrance to the Tower. He walked quickly, passing Argent Mind with a civil nod, he returned to the labs. "I wonder if the Knight could help me examine this tech..." - Marshal Maleficus - The Marshal's eyebrow raised as the subject began to talk. We've got an attitude, haven't we?" He gave Lucielle a faux-smile; and clicked his fingers with his powerfist. It was then that both morphs imploded with great force. "My dear... you are doing this because it is not wise to enrage me. I'm sure your friend would agree."

- The Broker - "I think I've asked what I want". Broker was sure that he asked what he wanted. "Though I would imagine that more questions will soon come." Midnight Illusion said what she had to say, and the two returned to the real world. - The Broker - The worries still surrounded Broker's mind as he dealt with the multiple heroes. Now the Warden and Lady Magnet were questioning his efficiency. He kept his composure and leaned back. "Warden, I wouldn't be so brash. I nearly lost my sister to Reaver and her riots before her second in command shot me three times." He undid his shirt to show the three bullet wounds from the other day, caused by Miss Nariko's sniper rifle. "I lead an army of police officers into the gates of hell, I would say that's a token of bravery." He did up his shirt. "My responsibilities here are in rebuilding the city and rebuilding it's infrastructure. It's already a herculean task with Reaver and a swarm of other opportunists on my doorstep, and I have already reaffirmed by commitments in transfering information relating to her back to the Tower." He took a sip of his drink. "Is there anything else you'd like to discuss?" - The Shadow Fixer - Cooper walked around the wet streets of Heartania, only stopping to deposit some cash to get by for the night. He entered a flower shop, asked for some peach assortments, no lilies. The attendant said it would be ready, and Cooper requested them to be delivered to the graveyard, a site that's become more and more popular in the recent days. He entered a crafting store, bought a blank book and some stationary, before making his way into a restaurant. It was a favourite of both Adrian and Daniel, a lovely site to go to after a quick walk on the foreshore. It was raining, and it looked more beautiful at a certain time in the night, and Adrian needed something to eat. He entered the restaurant, was greeted by Marcus the maître d', someone who clearly missed him. He was seated, ordered his food, and began to write on the paper bought. Felt like old times.

- Kinetic Warden - The Warden folded his arms. The Broker was hiding some things, but what he said was the truth. Years of dealing with scumbags; the hero knew what little ticks to look for. He decided to remain to the point with the High Chancellor. He still didn't like the cut of the man's jib, just at least he was being cooperative. "Every lead you and your Citadel has on Reaver, along with her Ravagers. You want this nightmare to end, you'll trust us to deal with it."
