- The Queen of Hearts - "Right." Alice nodded. "Great work, this mission should be a resounding success as long as there aren't any unforeseen interruptions." she coughed, "Though... of course there always is." Beat. "I neglected to ask," Alice responded, turning to face Sienna after wrapping her fingers around the sidearm in her side holster under her jacket, "Do your online banking expertise extend to disabling the cameras in the hospital or —" Alice flashed the handgun, "Is that my responsibility?" - Crimson - The Armoury, Scarlet City Crimson would call it a home away from home, but it was more home than any other place in the world. This was where it all happened, the headquarters of Cold Steel alongside Red Wonder and Red Fire before him. Many memories were made here, in the cavernous-yet-clinical locale hidden under the centre of the city. It was here that Steel and Wonder would plan and suit up to speed into action, where they would train or stitch eachother up after Pyrrhic victories. However this was also where the two interrogated Pain; where the three had a struggle for the gun; where Crimson pulled the trigger, shooting his mentor and father figure dead. Crimson ran his fingers along a railing in the Armoury before finding his way to Dave's computer; a great, hulking beast of a machine and one of the biggest databases on superhero affairs pre-incident. It was a shame that Crimson was the only person with access to it. This computer was also where Crimson would archive his older exploits and jobs, not wanting to literally and metaphorically carry them with him. Quickly, Crimson booted the system up and began to trawl through his own archive. The man that he'd killed the day before; Zak Ambers had said that Crimson had killed his friend. Curious, he needed to know what he meant. What helped was that Ambers had told him even the city; a city he had seldom visited. This made narrowing the search down to one incredibly easy. And there it was. 2059. A couple in their thirties had previously hired a PI to investigate the disappearance of their daughter. He'd come back with credible intel that some street-level scumbag had been abducting kids for whatever reason. The couple's requests had exceeded the PI's level of expertise and so the hitman known as Blood was hired to replace him. After some simple sleuthing though, Blood had uncovered something truly heart wrenching. These kids weren't any old kids, they were supers. This man was taking them into his home under the guise of offering to mentor them; offering to ease their worries about being freaks of nature. But after a few weeks of 'training' he'd take the kid and torture them to break down their psychological barriers. And when he was done he'd use his own power to change them; morph them into a soldier in his ever-expanding private army. He was preparing for war. If Crimson today was left to make this choice he'd be riddled with unease, but Blood was a killing machine. Crimson supposed he was just more of a monster back then, not wanting to admit that he simply used to be so much more willing to do what had to be done, but rather that he was a disgusting creature. And so when the opportunity arose Blood slipped into that man's house and slit his throat. Made it look like one of his abductees had turned on him. Then he visited the basement, filled with at least two dozen ravenous beasts - that resembled children - behind bars, all looking like they were about to foam from the mouth. He compared their faces to the photograph the couple had given him and quickly identified their girl. Her eyes were feral with primal rage, her skin bright pink from vasodilation. She matched the photo but she definitely was not their daughter anymore. Nonetheless, Blood subdues the girl and took her to one side before executed every last one of the remainder. These were monsters, like him, but feral, fearless and purely destructive. They would only endanger the world. They had to be destroyed. The same night, Blood took the unconscious beast back to the couple and explained what had happened. He would have killed her too that night if he wasn't getting paid to retrieve her. He managed to convince the couple to cage her up securely; that she was a danger, and that they had to see what she had become themselves. Surely enough, two nights later they invited him back over to provide euthanasia. They said their goodbyes and he made it quick. Crimson recalled it being all too unnecessarily soppy but he did also manage to make some extra cash. So as it seemed... Zak Ambers was the next target; the latest abductee. Unknowingly Ambers sought revenge against the man who saved his life, only to be executed like the rest of the abductees by the very same man who saved him.

- Hunter - A miasma of disgust and fear soon made its way around the room, like the very scent it emanated from, as Luke found himself throwing his head over the edge of the decaying bed, to vomit. Trying his best not to breath anymore of the plagued air, Luke stumbled from the bed, barely missing the vomit as he landed. Dreading the weight of his duffel bag and backpack, Luke, nevertheless, picked them up and slung his backpack over his shoulder as he gripped his duffel bag. Having to place his pistol, knife and bow back in their respectful holsters and places was difficult under such strained focus. Luke then tried his best to walk out of the shelter, without vomiting for a second time. As, he made it to the streets, Luke breathed in the fresh air, before he leaned against the wall, coughing and trying to continue resisting the urge to vomit, as the putrid scent of David's corpse was still present outside. Luke looked around, before walking, hoping to find some way to his old apartment from there.

- The Broker - The damage was small, the body was fresh, the poor man under his protection now passed on to the Beyond. He never saw the place, but the stories Claudia told said more, and he needed to find out who was responsible for this. Custos laid dead in a small pool of blood, couple of stab wounds, but enough for him to die without treatment. The security cameras inside the room didn't pick anything up. No face, no hair, no figure structure. Just a black hood that was enough to complete obscure them. It was a member of his staff, but which one. He would need to check the database, find who was responsible, and punish them for endangering life. "Find his next of kin, we'll pay funeral costs." The staff left the room to prepare, leaving the body on the floor, chalked up and untouched, ready to be photographed and moved. He looked around, nothing was looking at him, he grabbed his phone, and sent the message. 'CUSTOS DEAD, FIND THE KILLER, IT'S A MEMBER OF THE CITADEL, NO KNOWLEDGE MUST PAST THOSE TWO GATES. -B' The investigation would have to take place outside of the walls, no one inside can know the extent of the task. It must be done in secret, and the Little Mice knew that. They would work, they always find the crack in the plan. He should be more cheered up, Ragno has declared for him, more donations are offered the the fund, and the city was getting back into it's original state. But doing so he lost nearly everything, and even he wasn't sure if the sacrifice is worth it.

- Raven - Lilly walked back down from the room where Custos lay dead, his blood staining the very floor she and others had walked upon, only a few minutes ago. As she was walking back to her room, she felt disgusted. Crowds upon crowds of people were watching her, staring, whether it was because they felt mournful or they wanted to see her reaction, the gaze in her eyes, or the paleness of her skin. She felt humiliated, combing her way through the crowd just like her brother did, only this time, she wasn't going to play the coward and run away. As she stopped near James, the both of them exchanging looks, she could only look down to the floor, as James asked the question. Should they get him? Lilly was thinking more along the lines of Was he worth it? For years, she gave up everything to be with him, and for him to throw it in her face, as if he didn't care. Lilly wondered who really "died" three years ago. She looked back at James, again, no words to escape her quivering lips. Yet, James understood and together the two of them departed the scene, onto their separate ways, James to The High Chancellor himself, and Lilly to Mira. Odd how both sought someone from the organization, they felt isolated from, like outsiders beating against the tall rocks, like the very water this hell stood upon.

- Bloodstream - Sienna gave a crooked half smile. "Oh that'll be all down to you.." Her tone was honey sweet and smooth as she got back up from the mess of plans. "Come on, i'll call Oren on the way over. Let's do this." Sienna continued waving her phone already scrolling through onto her short list of contacts. Oren's face awkwardly captured in a stupid pose from when he had been mucking about with it. Sienna had never bothered to change it back. He whole body was buzzing to the point of boiling. She did love when a good plan came hurtling together, it was especially fun when the pieces went flying in all directions.

- Oren - Oren sat on a park bench, tons and tons of stacks of paper sitting beside him. He looked a little suspicious but, in all honesty anyone with a large amount of anything looked suspicious. But, paper wasn't dangerous in the hand of anyone but him. He'd been sitting on the bench for a while now, sapping in the sunlight like a flower. buzz! buzz! He reached down into his coat pocket and removed the old phone, staring at Sienna's name for a second before answering. "Hello darlin' How lovely of you to call me now, I was dying of boredom."

- Acchilleus - "Really, now? Tell me, why shouldn't I just kick you out right now?" declared Acchilleus, furrowing his brows as he looked at the man who introduced himself as Dr. Clueless. He wondered if they were perhaps some sort of spy for The Citadel. Speaking of which, as if on cue, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, before pulling out and smiling at his latest message: Custos is dead. Luke has left. Everyone else is emotional. As he typed back a quick message, his eyes flitted upwards, glaring at Dr. Clueless. "I'm waiting."

- Dr. Clueless - "i dont really know i think this one" Clueless said gesturing Kay "is looking out for me" he continued, looking around at the construction "it also looks like you need alot help with this place... what ever it is?" Clueless wondered he had a few ideas of what it could be remembering the words of the inhabitants from the twitterverse - Wild Card - the phone was engaged so Wild card sent a message to Acchilleus 'Ragno was on the news, most of the public is on Mr Kramers side watch your back' putting his phone way he walked to the window to wait for a reply if he would send one

- La Mirage - A black, long-haired wig hid Jade’s red curly hair, tucked away with hairpins to conceal one of her more striking features. She wore a pair of dark brown contact lenses, a dreary grey dress which cut just above her knees, colliding with a pair of purple and white striped stockings. The grey ballerina shoes she wore would have been just as dull as her dress, if it hadn’t been for the purple bows placed on each shoe tip, matching another purple bow pulling strands of her fake fringe away from her face. She walked away from the shopping center, feeling confident that no one would recognize her except Michael, and thought about how she should proceed when she arrived at Full House Casino. Before she could decide on that though, she turned to Michael and asked him a simple question. “Will you come with me to Full House Casino?”

- The Speaker - Disappointed that the interview had ended so swiftly, Ragno nevertheless said his gracious fair wells before departing. Whatever influence he was able to have with his words, itnwould not be enough. It was becoming obvious that his plans would need to be stepped up- the Citadel was weakening, and Ragno would need to dig in deep before it fell. - Shade - Shade has left the Citadel with not a soul noticing, disappearing into the city with ease. Travelling unseen wasn't a problem for her, and as no one was trying to give her orders she was free to act as she pleased. Anger flailed though her- the Broker had driven off another ally, his actions putting Jade in mortal danger. His inability to think before he acted was a danger to all. She mused on this as she stood in the shadows of Acchileus' compound, waiting her chance to step out and greet the man.

- Acchilleus - "And you believe you can help me?" asked Acchilleus irritably, he felt that if he rolled his eyes any further, he would potentially be blinded. Not to say being blind, at this instance is the worst fate. At least I won't have to see the faces of pity or insolence everyone seems to have for this city. Or most of them. Weak people. Not to say pity for a city is bad, of course I share it. But there's a big difference between pitying and participating. You can either pity this decrepit city, or participate in it getting better. What do you think will win you more favour? Acchilleus crossed his arms, glancing over at Kay who seemed to be none the wiser to the situation at hand, or so he thought. He could never truly read how they were feeling. "How?" Acchilleus' eyes flitted back to Clueless, his eyebrows still furrowed.

- Dr. Clueless - "wait what?... ok first of all i didnt offer any help i just said you needed it, and theres two reasons why i probably wont help, one: i dont care about politics cause they dont help me in any way and really only care about them selves, and Two: you dont have anything to offer me to make me help" Clueless said counting the points on his fingers, Clueless was about to put his hands in his pocket when he shifted his body to move his arms up to his head "also by the look over at your whole eyebrow situation" Clueless said waving his hand around Acchilieus face "you really dont want me to be here, i only really came for this one and im pretty much done with that and also" Clueless said putting on his goggles and looking around "im pretty sure someone wants to talk to you about this whole ....'thing',so im just gonna get out of your softly graying hair" Clueless said reaching out and stroke one side of his head, pulling his arm back and rubbing his fingers with his thumps he made an 'urg' exasperation with his mouth

- Kay - Kay was slightly amused at the Doctor's assumption that they were indeed looking out for him. Kay was looking out for danger from him that could hurt their employer and that was where their minute worth of relationship ended. In fact they were slightly annoyed at whatever device he had used on them and the way he just barged in, it was grating on their sense of priority, he was unstable or a spy and unless Achilleus defused this they were very tempted to kill him. They raised an eyebrow their face twisted to as close a simulacrum of a question as they could manage. Achilleus would be able to see but not his conversation companion as Kay still stood a small distance behind Doctor Clueless. It was a shame they had not talked through non-verbal cues for these situations. It made things a lot quicker and simpler when a particular hand movement or gaze would indicate what was needed. As the Doctor began gesticulating they drew closer as quietly as possible not even bothering to mimic the normal human sounds of breathing that they usually supplied. He had not put his hand in his pocket but he was nervous and fidgety, that did not make a good combination. - Oren - "Oren." Sienna replied dryly once more getting into a car from their small collection in the bottom of the warehouse. "We've got fun coming your way. We'll be over at the Hospital in ten minutes then we can start a little party. Alice is packing all the best kind of gifts." She moved over onto the passenger seat watching Alice from outside as she grabbed at the hospital uniform, wiggling out of her current attire helped by one hand. "So wait till we're there and then make lots of noise like we agreed. I've got to go I can't phone and put my clothes on." With that she hung up, continuing with the changing a little easier than it had been earlier.

- Acchilleus - "Guards! See to it, that this man is escorted out," commanded Acchilleus as he already grew tiresome of the conversation. He watched, impressively as two guards hastily made their way over, their hands on their guns and motioning for Clueless to walk out, through gates. Acchileus pondered, the state of rebuilding, as the apartment building should have almost been cleared, it seemed most of the rubble were on the bottom floor. The small hospital was mostly fine, but with little to no electricity, that and the apartment building wouldn't be the most useful, of places. He sighed. I'll think of something. I have a habit of doing so.
