- La Mirage - “N-no, I don’t know any of them..” Jade said, examining the other figures, trying to pick up details that could identify any of them. Wild Card came in, and Jade smiled gratefully at him. "Have we found her?" “Yes!” Jade said, her eyes shining, “and she was here with a friend.“ She pointed to the woman in a dark blue coat, then to the third unknown woman on the screen. There’s something familiar about her.. “And they left in a taxi with the tall, red haired lady in the light brown overcoat.” - Hatty Bellcrest - “Thank you.” Hatty smiled and placed the phone between them on the desk before she sat down in the other chair. She also placed her drink on the table before pulling out a tiny paper notebook from her handbag. “So, mister Strahm-“ She smiled charmingly with a row of perfect teeth, “Shall we?” “What gave you the idea to come to Heartania?” - HNN HQ, Past noon - “Well..” Hatty rose up from the chair and picked up the piece of paper, “..it can’t hurt to take a look around.” She smiled and started to walk towards the door, presuming the meeting was over and done with. “Oh! How is this case you’ve been working on coming along?” Hatty stopped and turned around with an annoyed expression. “As a matter of fact, I decided to drop it.” “Oh? Why?” “It was all based on gossip and slander from belittling business men. Why wouldn’t I drop it? Besides,” she tapped her fingers against the bunch of papers she’d just been given, “I get paid to research this.” They exchanged polite, if strained, smiles before Hatty exited the office. -- The smooth fabric played with the woman’s fingers as she held up the slick silk blouse in front of the little group. Astounded, she placed it on one of the tall chairs to admire and examine it closer. “T-this is handmade!” “You’ve got to be joking!“ “No, look at the seams! It looks like ‘Aute K. Tyr made it himself!” They murmured as the newest, and sassiest, employee placed a firm hand on it. “We should put it back in the box before Hattie or Hammonds walk in.”

- Wild Card - Wild card looked at the screen "hmm, i think ive seen her before but i dont know where" Wild card said wondering if he knew her, he turned to the camera man "can you find any footage of her with face in view, it might help finding her" Wild card asked "sure it may take a while but ill see what i can do" the camera man said turning back to the screen and viewing the footage "whats your next move if we cant find out who she is?" Wild card asked the lady curiously, moments later the camera man turned to Wild card "sir we have a better view of that woman she was with" he said, leaning in closer to look Wild card eyes widened 'i knew id seen her before' Wild card thought "i belive that your sister was escorted out by the lovely Hatty Bellcrest you my recognize her from the news" Wild card said turning back to the lady

- Reaver - Straightening her coat, Reaver stepped inside her apartment. Her composure nearly broke when she saw Joltz's antics, but she recovered quickly and coolly turned to Inferno. "So, you've decided to come back?" She asked, raising an eyebrow quizzically as she lent back on the counter. "I have to say, I wasn't expecting to hear from you after you dropped off the grid last night." - The Speaker - The city was a boiling pot of small gangs and constant feuds. While figures like Wild Card (a curious man who had never got back to him after their first meeting) dominated the criminal scene, he had never seemed to want to rule, and so without any leadership the thugs of the city had spread out and started fighting. The problem had been infinitely exacerbated after the so-called Ravagers dumped the population of a supermax prison onto the streets, many of whom fell into the cracks of the city and had gone back to their old illegal livelihoods. Ragno sipped his brandy quietly as he considered the map of the city districts, a map his associates had worked hard to out together for him. With the chancellor holding all eyes, he had the knowledge and the chance to start operations on a serious level. It was a good day, and would be a better few months ahead.

- Inferno - "Awww, I take it you missed me then" Inferno teased, She knew Reaver was angry at her for leaving but that didn't matter to her. "I just wanted a calm little day to myself, you know how it is.".

- Reaver - Reaver shrugged. "Sure, I know how it is, Ferny." She sighed, shaking her head. "Although I would really have preferred it if you might have mentioned that fact to me, rather than disappearing. I was pretty sure you were giving up on our little enterprise. I had to give Snow your bonus package!"

- Benedict Strahm - Well, time to talk. "Many reasons. Some economic, some personal. I've been eying this town for a while due how I spent some of my younger years here, as well as clear demand for more nightlife. I've been trying to open a club here for a while but unfortunately the city didn't want me. After the tragic cases the past few years I read about some of the most impacted areas, and one of them was The Village. Some of my time has been spent with some of the most amazing gay people I've ever known, and I felt I should assist a community that was on edge. If I hadn't acquired The Village, I don't think it would still be here, and that would be a shame for employees, consumers, the city, and myself."

- Dr Clueless - looking around Clueless knew he was no where near his lab "probably should've payed attention where we were going...oh well" he said as he walked on "aleast i can work on something else while im here" he continued pulling out a phone and small chip, pulling the back out of the phone and inserting the chip into it he turned it to face him to make sure it still worked, turning it on the screen lighted up and Clueless smiled "ok lets see if it works they way i want it to" he said putting the phone to his ear, moments past and it connected to another phone "Ooo it picked it up now all i have to see if someone picks up" Clueless said as he waited, 'good thing the phone works similar to that car and it picked up my thoughts so thats a bonus' Clueless thought as continued to wait moments later a voice picked up on the other end of the phone "Hello this is the Tower, how may i direct your call" they said "ha ha great, ok i need you to trace this call im pretty sure you have traceable tech there and you would most likely have it in reception desk" Clueless said excitedly, there was an eerie silence on the other end of the phone "...what?" the voice replied wondering what was going on "look your really not helping can you please just trace the call im conducting a test here" Clueless said "sir i dont understand" the receptionist said in a slightly worried tone, Clueless stopped in his tracks "you know what your not really helping me here im just gonna call the police there probably gonna be helpful Bye!" Clueless said as he disconnected the call "well that was rude i thought that the tower would help people" Clueless said as he continued walking - Joltz - Joltz over heard the word package and turned quickly "does that mean we get presents, like, like a new out fit and and, and guns and jump cables and ice cream and, and ... those things that you start fires with what are they called, the er erm napalm" Jolts said excitedly as she jumped up and down on the sofa almost breaking it

- Alice Hammonds - A different face spoke through the TV screen and reached the citizens of Heartania with a cheerful voice. “Good evening! My name is Alice Hammonds, and this is the news. - The dramatic demasking of Starlass was broadcasted across every major station in Heartania only a few minutes ago. There is little to no information right now, and the Tower is currently handling the situation with the utmost discretion. - The police have confirmed that there was a bomb that went off at the Bronze Tree earlier today. Luckily no one was killed, and all the wounded were moved to Heartania Hospital. However-“ *Hammonds’ voice drops dramatically* “-the danger was far from over as even the hospital underwent an attack only a few hours later. We have yet to confirm whether the same assailants were behind both of the attacks, but the situation is now under control thanks to a number of identified heroes.” *The pictures of Argent Mind, The Pursuer, Infra Red and Clueless appear on screen* “During the same time period a ten foot tall golem attacked a building, while a man used, what is thought to be, paper projectiles to create havoc. A hostage was killed in front of the helpless heroes, and the assaulters have fled the scene. All citizens are urged to use extreme caution in the surrounding area. - There has been a shooting at a bar in downtown Heartania. Police are hesitant to release any details, but there is rumours that at least two victims have been severly injured. This has been the major events during the past six hours. Now we bring you the weather.” - La Mirage - “The news lady?” Jade gave the screen a perplexed look as she took in the face of the young woman. On the inside she was rejoicing; after nearly a week she’d found something that resembled a solid lead! I can’t believe it! “Are y-you sure?” Jade didn’t need to fake that stutter, or even ask the question for that matter. Wild Card is right; that’s her! But.. ..what do I do now? Jade breathed for a second. “I-I mean, of course you’re sure. You wouldn’t say so unless you were. Thank you-“ she turned to Wild Card, eyes full of crocodile tears, “I-I could only hope.. And now it’s turned out like this! Thank you!” - Hatty Bellcrest - How noble- but something tells me he bought it because of his sense of business rather than sentimentality. “You really have turned it around! According to statistics, Strahm Nightlight is one of the best running companies in Heartania right now- at least among the businesses feeding off the city's nightlife.” Hatty smiled and looked down at her notepad, her eyes narrowing ever so slightly. “What makes it even more stunning is the fact that you dropped out of your economics and business studies. What happened after you left your hometown?” - HNN HQ, Past noon - *Beep!* Hatty fished her cellphone out of her pocket again and read the text. It was from the same unknown number from earlier. ‘Rude! You opened the box~’ The message made Hatty stop, she was on her way back to the lunch room to grab a cup of coffee . Opened the box? But I haven’t received a box... Unless it's already arrived and somebody- The penny dropped and Hatty started sprinting down the corridors, cutting corners to find the quickest way to the dressing room. Fuck! - Midnight Illusion (The Citadel: Seconds after Custos' Murder) - Midnight bolted upright when she felt it; the anger, the maddening insanity that caused murders to happen. Then she heard the penetrating cry of thoughts of angst from a dying man as he was stabbed repeatedly in the chest, and left to die on the floor of the medical bay. Leona stood, stunned, and couldn’t believe her ears- there was a traitor inside the Citadel. Even more so, they had just killed someone. She regained her composure little by little as the dying man’s thoughts were still bustling inside his head; she shut them out- there was nothing she could do for him- and as people discovered what had happened, panic arose. The only thing Leona could do was breath. Her mind stayed fixed on the murderers mind, following them as they moved through the Citadel as if they knew nothing. Leona waited for the right moment. She waited for a long time. But just as Hadar started growing impatient and hungry again, Leona finally saw her chance and contacted the murderer telepathically with a simple message. ‘I know.’

- Benedict Strahm - He straightened himself a little, and prepared to answer the question. "The common misconception on why I dropped out of my studies was overconfidence, which is easy to presume. It's goes much deeper than that, it actually involves my parents. Their accident that caused them to pass on hit me hard, to the point where I considered taking my life, and my studies and grades suffered as a result. I didn't think it would be fair to leech when someone else could take my place, so I left to recompose myself. Needed to move somewhere without the noise, without a reminder of how they died so I simply moved into a small place in the countryside. Lovely place, though after two months I wasn't finding myself any peace. When the store I worked at to feed myself was about to close down, I thought it would be a diservice to let it rot." His smile returned. "That impulse purchase was the spark that lit the fire, and after some time I simply expanded into the late night business my company is known for." He chuckled to himself. "Oddly enough, I still own that small village shop."

- Inferno - "So? I don't care for money or for anything material." Inferno didn't care much for material wealth, she was interested in other things. "So tell me, who is that little spark ball over there" She stuck her thumb at Joltz, "Need me to calm her down" Something sinister arose in her voice for a second that only the occupants near her would be able to get.

- Compound - Edison tilted his head, a little confused. "You've already.... that was fast." he remarked, genuinely surprised by the response time of the Citadel. He pushed his key into the ignition, the engine roaring to life again. "Would it be alright if I came by to speak with them? A personal touch would help a lot in this situation, I feel." - The Harvester - Orlando raised an eyebrow, standing behind the android to keep an eye out for passers-by. "Hotwiring, huh? I've done it before, never been very good at it though. I'll give it a shot." He watched out the corner of his eye as his ally wound the bandage on their mark, noticing the clear expertise in their handiwork. "You seem to know this boy, judging by your interactions with him on the rooftop. Care to share any history?"

- The Broker - "I'll be more than happy to put them on the line when they arrive. In the meantime please find Miss Scott and tell her to head to the Citadel as soon as possible." The Broker cleared his throat. "I might be able to help her in this predicament. I'll keep in touch." He put the phone down and leaned back. His lower back was aching slightly, he needed to get walking normally as soon as possible.

- Kay - Kay shrugged as they finished up with Hunter moving away to lean on the counter continuing to fiddle and assess their own damage as they kept their good eye mainly on their prisoner but a little on the newcomer. "I stopped him doing something deadly stupid a few times and he protected me when I was damaged before now." The words were short and devoid of emotion. "Now he is someone my employer wants information from or dead and that is all that matters." Kay no longer blinked, there was no point obstructing their gaze to fit in with only two people in the room who knew the truth. "If you are going to hotwire I will watch him till you are done. Give me a ring and I will bring him down securely." If there was anyway they would describe themselves it would be tired. Kay wanted this done with so they could go home and fit a new eye, seal up the holes as they had done several times before, leaving no marks physically while the emotional scars worked patterns in their core. This youth spent too much time talking, and right now to Kay that felt like a sin. Kay pursed their lips, finally realising what the young man had said before questioning them. "Unless you think you aren't good enough to start it up without catching attention and then I will deal with the car while you watch our guest." - Bloodstream - Sienna was parked up on a sidewalk back matched up with the open back of a white van. Drawing out a map as they approached the lone van driver with their empty white van being slowly emptied of packages for delivery. A gaping hole of space the perfect fit for her trolley full of drugs. "I'm really sorry sir but I need to find Rose Avenue could you help me?" He followed her behind the door with a smile that she echoed with her own, that did not quite reach her eyes. He did not see the glistening of blood on one fist and neither did anyone in the buildings a little way off with both vehicles doors hiding her actions.

- The Queen of Roses - Mira had been stricken with eternal discomfort since The Broker, Jonathan Kramer had risen to power and clutched the seat of the High Chancellor. Truth be told, she never believed he would make a good High Chancellor, and yet she didn't care. As long as she gained a place in The Citadel for herself, and could keep her family safe, she didn't care if the city burned down tomorrow, or well she couldn't afford to care. Yet she had to. With Acchilleus threatening her position, her home, the safety of her family, she had to care. Mira found herself doing deeds she would never imagine herself doing, all to secure that safety, not for The Broker, not for the people he had on leashes that followed him around, but for herself and for her family. As Mira found herself striding back to her room with a sandwich in hand to distract her and give her a few moments of solace and weak-willed comfort from the world around her, she never expected to find herself in this sort of position. She almost dropped the plate as she shut the door behind her, but instead she reminded herself to stay calm, to stay resolute and know that what she did was in any way wrong. At least, that's what she hoped.
