- Colin Collins - (At the Citadel’s front gates) Colin stood by the car and fidgeted with his keys. He seemed to be in a rather troubled state as he glanced back at the Citadel before he got into the car. I can’t let Jade stay here. Who knows what that freak show will do? He nearly stepped out of the car again, but stopped. I could lose my job if Mr. Blythe hears of this.. And if Leona tells them I tampered with the files, I will go to jail. Crap. He placed his head in his hands, letting out a silent, angry growl from the back of his throat. Urrgh. On the other hand, if she tells them that… She will have to tell them how she knows that. And then she will go to jail for obstructing the course of justice. Colin looked up and saw a black taxi stop in front of the gates. Jade exited the taxi and looked around, not noticing her father’s car parked among delivery trucks and other vehicles before she walked through the gates and towards the Citadel’s entrance. Colin sighed again and waited until Jade had entered the Citadel before he ignited the engine. Leona might be a dangerous, but Jade isn’t exactly unable to take care of herself. The security guard glanced back towards the Citadel one last time as the car drove away. Sorry Princess, you’re on your own from here on out. - Felix Norwood - Felix let down his arms and followed Claudia into the Vault. “I thought.. You know, since the Broker tortured my sister.. Well, I shouldn’t stay for too long.” He thought for a few seconds as Claudia hung up her coat. “And right after, he said it would be better if I stayed in the Tower-“ The young boy looked at Claudia with surprise as she sat down at the table and started eating. “..your arm wasn’t like that yesterday.” He stated with surprise as he sat down at the table, giving Claudia a confused, worried look as he started putting food on his plate. - Midnight Illusion - The elevator took Midnight back up to the main base of the Citadel, her mind revolving around the troubling thoughts she’d uncovered in the little kid’s head. The High Chancellor had tortured a woman in front of her brother. … She sighed heavily and petted Hadar behind its ear. What do I do now? Who can I trust? ..Maybe I should’ve gone to the Tower in the first place. But who knows what will happen? If the Marshal is as cunning as I give him credit for, he will undoubtedly have someone on the inside. All hell could break loose! What do you think, Hadar? The tiger yawned and rested its head against Midnight’s knee. I guess we’ll sleep on it then. Let’s find a guest room.

- Reaver - After watching the show, Reaver went back to having fun. She drank an assortment of exciting cocktails, danced with men and women alike with a surprising amount of talent, and generally had a good time. It was nice to let her hair down (even if it was a wig) after all the stress of the last few days. Almost made her feel like a real human... Although only almost. - Argent Mind - Argent Mind arrived at the Tower and sent out the report on Cooper to all heroes. Finding him and Maleficus would have to be a no. 1 priority. For the hero himself, however, it would have to wait until morning. It was late, he was exhausted and he had busy days ahead. - Shade - Shade watched Midnight go before slipping down into the Vault. She walked out the wall and chuckled slightly as she realised she had nearly walked into Claudia. "Not quite as secure as advertised." She commented, referencing her ease in getting in.

- Lady Magnet - "I don't much like that High Chancellor, he's.... obnoxious." Lady Magnet commented. It wasn't often she dislikes people, but he just grinded her gears. "Well Warden, If you need any of my help then I'll be glad to offer assistance to you. For now, given the time, I'd like to go to my bed." She left not too long after saying that, heading home for her bed.

- Kinetic Warden - The Warden watched Lady Magnet depart; allowing a slight smile to form across his face. He was close to departing to, until he noticed the magazine he read earlier, with great disgust, still resting on the table. Picking it up, he remembered what his friend and ally had told him earlier. It was an accepting notion; maybe the Warden would have to accept the way things are: whether that be the status of heroes, or how dependent they were on each other. Keeping the magazine under his arm, the Warden began to teleport back to the old HPD building, making sure to stop off at Magnet's home before he arrived, to leave the glossy-paged issue at her doorstep. He then continued on his way, until he eventually arrived back at base. No home for me - just personal quarters. He slowly stripped himself of his superhero garb; made sure to feed Cornelius before attempting to get some sleep. Perhaps it would be easier in the place the Warden knew so well.

- Klondike - Klondike had woken up in the transport. His body had turned itself into ice and because there were slightly different freezing points between the chemical he had been hit with and water, he'd been able to physically separate the chemical from himself. He stood against a wall in Argent's office. He didn't like messing up.

- Argent Mind - Argent Mind walked into his office to find Klondike waiting. He allowed himself a small smile. "How are you doing?" He asked, genuinely concerned. "I wasn't expecting to see you up and about so soon after being attacked like that."

- Klondike - Klondike shrugged, "Takes a lot more to hurt me than a worthless little dart. My body separated itself from the shit in it by turning to ice." He took of his flat cap and pushed his hair back with a hand, before putting the cap back on, "How do you do it? I fucked up today, and now, whenever Doctor Doom uses something he got from Cooper to hurt somebody, it's on me."

- Argent Mind - Argent Mind sighed, and sat down. He nodded for the younger hero to take the seat opposite. "You shouldn't let it bother you too much. Every hero makes a mistake or lets his guard down once or twice. Hell, in my early days I was outplayed by easier opponents than Maleficus more times than I'm pleased to admit." He said, shrugging slightly with a sad smile. "Yeah, it didn't go well today. But no one is blaming you for being hit unawares by that man- none of us have ever been prepared for his attacks. Honestly, it's as much my fault as yours. I let Cooper;s story get to me and let him out of my sight, even though I knew it was dangerous. And I sent you off with that girl Luna, who has disappeared entirely, so you were left on your own. Don't beat yourself up. So long as you keep up your heroic work, we needn't say anything else about it!

- Klondike - Blaise shook his head, "I came to Heartania because I wanted to stop making mistakes. I don't know how to use my powers to their highest potential, and I need to figure it out. With great power comes great responsibility, and my responsibility, even as a normal mountain guide, was to make sure that the climbers who put themselves under my care were safe. When I got my powers, those responsibilities became amplified." He took a deep breath, and reduced the adrenaline in his body. Sometimes he got a bit hot headed, but he was also just a very stubborn person. He stood up and tipped his cap, "Sorry. I should probably get some sleep. Mind if I stay in one of the rooms?"

- Argent Mind - "Of course, that's what they're for! I need some rest myself... Getting old has made me tire faster, I'm afraid." Argent Mind said with a chuckle. "If you understand you have these responsibilities, then I think you'll be just fine. I look forward to working with you in the future, Klondike. You'll make a fine hero."

- Klondike - Blaise nodded as he headed to the elevator, "I hope so. Canada could use something more threatening than a goose, according to a few American friends. Goodnight Argent." He ducked into the elevator and went a few floors down and walked into a room, the Tower staff had moved his possessions in, which was quite nice of them. They'd also made sure the room was colder, as he was accustomed to and was more comfortable in due to his powers. He looked over Heartania. A little dimmer than some pictures he'd seen in the internet, probably because large parts of it had simply been razed, but the lights of cars weaved their way through the city streets, giving the city a breath of life. It was an interesting change from Dawson City, and he found himself partial to both the quiet of his hometown and liveliness of the city. He tossed his cap on his bed and crossed his arms, watching over the city, bustling with life down below, before eventually heading to bed.

- The Broker - Broker was taken aback. A wolf creature offering their services? The Broker leaned in and said "I don't really have anything at the moment. However, if you find any information that might determine the fate of the city, I can give you information in exchange." Three people entered the room, also taken aback by a wolf creature. "I wasn't aware I had an appointment." "With all due respect High Chancellor, the High Council has ordered an adjustment based on seeing you earlier today." "And what adjustment would that be?" "This might hurt a little." The three men attacked something to the joint on his legs before the contraption tightened. There was some clicking, and by god it hurt, but the pain subsided. The Broker was given a cane. "They ordered that you have the capacity to walk, they think it will give people strength." The Broker nodded and the three left the room. He turned to Lupus. "First thing in the morning, I might have something for you. In the meantime I'm going to need some sleep. It's been a long day for me." The Broker left the room and headed towards his quarters, limping as he took use of his cane. He entered, and closed the door. He sat down for a small moment, taking in the day, there was so much that was done and it mentally shattered him. He was tired, and he knew something was coming over the horizon, and when stability is restored he would go back to information dealing. Politics wasn't his thing. Opposite him was a gift, a gift he got a couple of days ago when the downhill spiral happened. A piano with mice carved into the wood work, the gift from Kay. He walked over to it and felt the carvings. Pristine, attention to detail, yet it's very existence seems tainted in some way. He knew trying to restore Kay could've been controversial, yet he thought Kay would see reason. He made sure nothing was removed, nothing was modified, and nothing was recorded, yet Kay didn't see that. His mind wondered to the thousands and thousands in currency he spent on them, and despite the good faith he feels towards them, Kay had put a death note on his head. He took the cane and was close to swinging it against the piano, yet he couldn't bring himself to do it. Possibly because it reminded him of a more peaceful time. He tried to swing again, but couldn't. Possibly because it reminded him of the lack of stress his work called for. He dropped the cane, and simply opened up the piano. The keys, white and black. I wonder if his lessons stuck with him. He started playing, and it hurt him. Something so beautiful and eloquent that seems to remind him of pain, yet he can't get rid of it. He gasped a little, and a stream of tears left his eyes. - Frequency - McCall laid on her back at the tour bus, troubling thoughts going through her mind. What was inside the Citadel, and why would the young boy and his sister return after being sent here? One thing was for curtain, she wanted to leave. The joy was leaking out of her, and this city has become a hive mind of misery.
