- Roadblock - as they walked Jimbo started talking again "yeah, so the boss had a big house in the rich part of town, but now he's moved to the less impressive part" Roadblock didn't care about Morans past life "he blames it all on the supers that came into town" Jimbo continued, walking across a bridge Roadblock looked at the stream underneath as it rippled with the rain drops hitting it looking back at Jimbo with his back turned to it Roadblock thought about throwing him with a cinder block attached to his legs but it needed him to get to Moran

- Felix Norwood & Midnight Illusion - Midnight, still standing inside the elevator, took a step to the side to make some room for the odd pair. "..Is it safe?" Felix gave the cloaked woman an uncomfortable look. She responded with a single nod, yet Felix hesitated to step inside the elevator as Hadar glanced at him. After looking up at the sky again, he walked into the elevator and positioned himself next to Claudia. The doors closed as Felix wondered what would happen next, all the while Midnight pondered where she would spend the night.

- Cosmo - Damian smirked slightly as The Knight expressed his amazement at the hero's abilities. At least something good came of the accident. "Is that the...?!" He nodded, offering the dark matter generator over to The Knight for inspection. A flash of lighting appeared off in the distance, along with the sounds of thunder. "It was sabotaged; it wasn't a failure! I'm sorry to burst in like this, and I am aware we haven't known each other for so long, but this is worth investigating. I just know it."

- Knight - "Sabotaged?" Blake took the ruined generator from Cosmo, sighing as he inspected it, "Jeez. I'm sorry man." Beat. "Come on in." he continued, leading Cosmo around to the back of the plant to the secret metal plant. Blake smiled, standing on the lift plate. "You coming?" - Jay Hearne - They kept saying to just get through one day at a time, but every day was the same.

- Cosmo - Damian kept silent as The Knight led him to the back of the nuclear plant; adopting a similar style when being addressed. He was deep in thought: wondering why The Knight would set up shop here. He couldn't fault the atmospheric elements, although the practical features were yet to be seen. Stepping upon the lift pad, Damian clasped his hands together in anticipation. "Let's see what you have in store for me."

- Knight - Blake aimed his pistol at the ground and activated the lift. It now moved down a lot quicker than before as Blake had tinkered with the lift following the agonising wait last time. After around fifteen seconds the lift reached the bottom and the metal doors slid open. "It's a work in progress..." Blake remarked, sniggering as he revealed the mostly empty area, "But it's my Batcave. You remember Batman, right?" Blake took a few steps forward, placing the generator down on his workbench and then swiping his gauntlet; this time causing only the armoured segments of his suit to flash white and disappear, leaving him appearing to wear a black (not) spandex bodysuit with green lines down the side. "It's a bit lighter." Blake explained.

- Cosmo - Damian did not remember Batman, or this Batcave; so he decided to simply keep quiet to avoid disheartening the fellow hero. He watched with fascination as The Knight employed all of his technological marvels, making a mental note to study later. The comment on weight reminded Damian that his own plate and mail was beginning to wear down on him, and the wound needed some rest. But still - there was work to be done. "Probably best to get comfortable for the practical work. If need be - I can walk you through the generator," He moved closer, and pointed towards the centre of the generator, that was glowing a peculiar orange colour. "See that shouldn't be there. The core is hollow - as the dark matter should be stored there. It's clearly foreign, so I figured you'd be the best shot at examining it... I mean, what's more outlandish than your suit?"

- Knight - "Well, I mean my suit doesn't let me run at super speeds. But sure," Blake smiled, "Let's have a look." Blake then took around 20 minutes observing the generator; picking it up, examining it from every angle and pressing multiple buttons on his wrist device, all while completely silent. Finally, he spoke. "Wait, if there's a foreign orange glow then surely there must be a foreign substance in the generator; something difficult to identify as I'm sure if something was simply broken you'd be able to tell." Blake scratched his head. His expertise lied in teleportation; moving his suits from storage and onto his body across long distances, not dark matter, space and the unknown. Still, the sheer potential of dark matter fascinated him as he wondered with Cosmo's work would finally allow him to perfect organic teleportation. Blake then snapped out of his daze and looked back to Cosmo who was visibly weary. "Are you ok? Look," Blake stood up from his chair, "I'm gonna be working far into tomorrow morning, you look like you could use some rest. Leave this with me - that's if that's okay with you, of course - and... I'll take a look, you can take a kip - uhh... a 'nap'.... and you can come back here tomorrow morning." He shone a caring expression as he looked around the workbench for something only to pull out his pistol and pull off a segment. Blake then offered Cosmo the black, metallic piece of the gun, "Build this into your glove and you can just press your hand to the elevator pad to let yourself in."

- The Chaser - "Don't worry, it's perfectly safe." She pressed her key into the elevator and it went down deep. She stretched herself while keeping a small eye on Felix. "You have nothing to worry about here. The place is practically impenetrable. Only one way in and out." The elevator pings. "Even so, there is a way out, and I think you'll like this place." The door opened and Claudia stepped out. She walked to the small room, before the double doors opened up. The Vault was on display for the young man. - The Broker - The Broker relaxed. The info was secure, and Jade will have it ready if she comes back. He looked back at the two visitors. He still had to deal with Lupus, but it would be polite to at least consider those two. "Do you have any more questions?"

- Cosmo - Damian took the gun with a look of gratitude; both for the gift, and the offer of aid. "I'll come back tomorrow with some extra equipment. Once we've got this thing worked out, I can just as easily rebuild - and then who knows what will happen." He returned to the elevator, firing the gun like The Knight had done. Except this time, the lift took a more steady pace going up, allowing the hero to call down, "You're gonna need sleep too! So don't overwork yourself!" And with that, the lift later halted at the back of the plant once more. Feeling a lot more relieved after accomplishing so much, Damian felt no shame in returning to his apartment, to get a good night's rest; crossing his fingers that the guilt of his friend's death would not keep him up. - Kinetic Warden - The Warden frowned. The High Chancellor would tell him there is someone with the information he needs, yet would not show him to them. It was a disappointment to the veteran hero, but at least he had the pen-drive. He nodded curtly to the Broker, signalling the end of their discussions, and led himself and Lady Magnet back to the front room. "That was... irritating," he sighed, pausing afterwards to think about his next move, "I have what I need. But I don't want to drag you along if you do not want as much. Will you be returning to the Tower?"

Roadblock pointed at the door 'Y35' appeared on its visor, Roadblock followed behind Jimbo as they walked to the door Roadblock looked around the door to see if there were any traps or cameras, nothing so far it was just and ordinary looking house on the outside but the inside could be a different story

- Marshal Maleficus - The Marshal had made quick progress in escorting the morph carrying Dr. Cooper to his new prison, deep underground; although higher than his actual base, to avoid exposure. A dark tunnel led to a singular room, the contents of which never ceased to sadistically impress the mastermind, despite having the foresight that comes with being the architect. He entered the room, placing Cooper on a chair that simply faced the door. Don't want to spoil the surprise. He then clicked his fingers and the chair expanded alloy restraints around the Fixer's chest, wrists, and ankles. He then made sure three morphs stood behind the chair, and two stood either side of the Marshal, jamming any signals until Marshal could be certain of any trickery at work. Now all that was left was for the good doctor to awake. - Starlass - Grace had decided that she was well overdue some time alone: actually alone. Not as Starlass - but as Grace Scott. She flew to her parents' home, so she could carefully creep up the stairs to her room, ensuring she could change into something more comfortable for sleep (she decided a Heartania University hoodie with some pajama trousers would suit her needs). When this is over - I'm going to have to cram so hard. Whilst placing her hair into a ponytail, Grace made her way downstairs once more, except this time to brew herself a relaxing tea. The coffee from La Mirage kept her going; now she needed to calm down for a bit. She still felt her mind acting a bit shaken up, and the internal fear of going dark, coupled with the guilt of what happened earlier still remained; but at least she could quietly fight it with the encouragement from her friend. Are we friends? La Mirage has been supportive, but when it comes to it I'm a crimefighter who has previously left her in the dark. I hope I can at least make up for what I- Her thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of boiling hot water being poured into her own mug. Except this wasn't her own doing. She looked to her right, and spotted her mother looking tired, yet still welcoming. Her mother's smile change to a look of confusion as she tilted her head to the side and asked, "What's that, dear?" Grace then felt a feeling of mortification as she realised her domino mask was still on her face. Luckily the rest of her Starlass uniform was hidden away, but she had to think fast and tread carefully. Her silence was broken with a ploy that could only get better. Grace swallowed once in anxiety, then spoke with a fake slur, "O-oh, didn't I say? It was a uni f-friend's birthday *hic* party. W-we had to do a *hic* superhero dress..." A poor performance. But it seemed to have done the trick as Grace's mother carefully handed her the mug of tea with a raised eyebrow. "Well, dear, you should definitely sleep. Although I didn't know you were such a party animal. It's like you're living two lives Gracie." She smiled warmly, making her way back upstairs. Grace exhaled with relief, clutching her mug she followed suit, vowing to never get caught like that again. Although, she had to admit - worrying about mum's finding out secrets was a lot nicer than being plunged into life-threatening situations and losing your mind.

- Knight - The lift doors shut with an audible clunk. "Sure." Blake exhaled, turning his head back to the generator on the workbench. 'If I could take it apart I could clean the foreign elements out even if I can't scan for them.' And so Blake spent upwards of an hour intricately removing several plates from the generator and examining each and every part of the inner device, studying and logging how to reassemble the machine later before finally Blake was satisfied. "What's that?" Blake couldn't help but ponder aloud, reaching for some forceps and pulling a component from the generator. Carefully, Blake set it down on his workbench and pressed a section of his wrist to activate his HUD to zoom in on the component. It was.... ... another generator. And if scans were to be believed it was an anti-matter generator. "What the hell?" Blake placed the antimatter generator in a secure containment field of his own design and quickly - across half and hour - reassembled Cosmo's dark matter generator. But right before Blake was about to seal Cosmo's device away curiosity struck. Blake walked the box over to his server room where he entered to find his teleport drive. This drive was what allowed Blake's suit to seemingly appear from nowhere, what allowed him to seemingly carry everything he could ever need around with him. It let him teleport his tools around, but he could never teleport organisms such as himself. Quickly, Blake replicated a small section of Cosmo's generator and installed it into his teleport drive. Moving back into the main room of his base Blake held his gauntlet in front of him, hesitating as his finger edged closer and closer to the button that would activate an attempt to warp him two feet away. But as the suspense broke... Blake couldn't do it. It wasn't the time, there were tests to be made to ensure his safety. And so Blake decided against trying to teleport and instead quickly moved to press the button to deactivate his suit when - without warning - ... An incredible noise rang out through Knight's cave as something resembling a sonic boom shook the place, leaving everything strewn around the room and the monitors blinking with static. On the surface the sky clouded over and flashed visibly red for a second as thunder rolled out. Back in the cave, Blake was nowhere to be found.

- Felix Norwood & Midnight Illusion - Felix followed Claudia into the smaller room and glanced back at Midnight, who remained in the elevator. Hadar rose up from the floor of the elevator, but was held back with one thought from its master. Wait. Midnight stood still and watched the boy’s face. If just for a second, she sensed a rather sinister vibe emanating from the little boy. She didn’t want to pry into a little kid’s thoughts, but maybe in this case… “Woah..” Felix looked in awe as Claudia opened the door to the large room. “This reminds me of.. home..” The boy shrugged and looked up at Claudia with a slightly disturbed expression. “Lady?” He crossed his arms over his chest. “You’re not kidnapping me again, are you? I can leave whenever I want to, right?” Midnight stood still and intercepted the child’s thoughts. There’s no guessing what face she would have made if the stiff mask hadn’t hid her expression. This is.. quite disturbing.. - La Mirage - Jade sat still with her phone lifted to her ear. On the long back drive to the Citadel she’d decided to call her father, if only to vent and get some consolation. Somewhere along the way Jade had mentioned funds, what the Broker was going to do for the city and that she was taking care of a 13 year old girl at the Citadel. Her father responded by saying he’d do what he could to help, but the company had already sent out medical supplies across Heartania in the hopes of relieving the worst of the crisis. Nonetheless, he gave her his word to send a six digit figure to the Phoenix fund the next morning with the promise of more to come if needed.

- The Broker - Magnet and the Warden were dealt with, and the Broker leaned back into his chair and relaxed briefly. Lupus was still in the room, and so he had to deal with him. "So Lupus...why did I find you on top of this fortress, and more importantly why are you here?" - The Chaser - Claudia chuckled a little and said "Sure, but where would you go?" She took off her jacket and hung it up, revealing her cybernetic arm to the child. She sat down at a table, a prepared meal ready for the two. She started eating, likely with Felix joining them soon.
