- Dr Clueless - a small rumble shook the ground where clueless was stood, looking around at the floor he tried to figure out the direction it originated from "ok lets see small rumble hit me here, looking at the small rocks have just stopped shaking, so that means that it originated... " Clueless said pulling down his goggles looking to the floor, rushing to a door that had a few boards on it he attempted to pull them off, letting go of the boards he looked at the door an noticed it opened inwards "oh probably should have looked at that first" he said, pulling out his keys he put them in to the lock and set the coordinates for a door near by the place were shaking came from, opening the door the view on the other side was at an odd angle "ok... did i? you know what never mind" Clueless said wondering what happened, leaning under the boards and through the door the other side of the door was at a collapsed building "ah that makes sense" 'BOOM!!' a large crashing sound close by that startled Clueless as he stood in the door way, looking up he saw a giant Golem destroying a building across the way from where he was "Wow! this is a bad place to be" Clueless said stepping out of the door way another crashing sound againsted the building happened and large bits of the building started to fall around near Clueless, one landed near Clueless and he closed the door and locked the door turning to see if any more parts of the building where falling near him one large part was falling straight for him "uh oh, COME ON COME ON!!, AH SCREW IT!" he shouted trying to get the keys to separate the two doors from each other, forcing the keys out a small surge of energy came out of the keys connecting to the lock, Clueless ran to a near by fire hydrant and grabbed hold of it tightly, a small worm hole opened up at the door way and started to suck in every thing just as it started to get powerful enough to lift Clueless of the ground the large part of the building smashed into the door way breaking it and destroying the worm hole "whew thank god for that" Clueless said relieved - Infra Red - stepping into the Tower Infra red heard alarms going off in the building and light flashing " is the city being attacked?" Infra Red said suddenly someone burst through a window outside and Infra red rushed out to see who it was, looking up he saw a small glimps of Argent Mind flying off into the distance "this must be something serious, better get a move on if i wanna lend a hand" he said as he ran in the same direction as Argent

- Hunter - It looks different than it did before. The fact was, that wasn't the truth. The same dusty old mattress which Luke rested Kay on, in their time of need, was still there, Luke was even willing to bet the same dust particles still clung onto the old thing. His desk where he made his deals, tinkered with some archaic technology, was still there, scraps of metal and different parts spread wide. In fact, simply by analysing the room, Luke's old home was still the same, always. He brought his scarf down, mourning the loss of warmth provided by the thin fabric of the scarf, that just a minute ago covered his chin up to his nose. How did I get here? The past few days, or weeks, or however long these events had been going on the city felt surreal. Luke felt disconnected from reality, as if he were watching the events unfold through a looking glass. The scrapes, wounds and bloody gashes from his fight, made him want to lay down, and the nausea wasn't helping. Time, memories - everything felt fractured. Luke found himself finally closing the door, no lock. He adapted to the odd sickly scent of discarded pizza and half-full bottles of beer, before he took most of his gear off leaving it on his desk across the room, and found himself falling onto the grimy mattress to fall asleep.

- The Pursuer - The picture became clear as Andras got further and further towards the source of the chaos. Rock creature, little bigger than Andras by a noticeable amount, smashing things around. He walked in it's general direction and threw a rock towards it. There was no one between the two, would be good to deal with it on this ground. "Hey ugly!" Andras shouted. "Why not pick on something closer to your size?" - The Chaser - The hospital was oddly quiet despite the chaos that lied near them. Claudia pulled a nurse to the side and asked "Don't suppose this building has an evacuation plan?" "We do, though I doubt the effectiveness will be good considering our current intake." Took a few seconds for Claudia to get some contact with central. "Central this is Kramer, I need transport VTOL's and as many ambulances as possible on standby." Pause. "Copy that Kramer, all under standby." Claudia breathed a sigh, it might get stressful. "Can you walk Ben?" "I can cope if need be." "Good, because if we have to evacuate everyone then we'll need to start from the top floor"

- Oren - Golem made no noise. Which is common sense since it had no vocal cords or anything to produce sound with(technically it's feet were making noise but that is besides the point). And, by another use of common sense, it had no brain therefore it couldn't think. But magic was a peculiar thing, defying all laws of rationality and throwing common sense out the window like a spider. So infact the Golem has a brain of sorts but not a physical brain, and eventhen it was a complete simpleton who followed Oren's orders around like a puppy. Golem raised its fist and punched it through the wall of a convenience store with very minimal effort. It proceeded to force its way into the convenience store leaving a crude door shape in the wall. Golem started to smash about the convience store happily like a puppy. Oren stood watching. Bored. The hostages rotating around him like planets around the sun.

- The Sheriff - "What a fucked up day," muttered James Witt, passing along through the corridors of The Citadel before he reached outside. The cool air was merciful compared to the stuffy air inside. Though, James didn't come out here just to contemplate the brilliance of oxygen all day. He reached down into his pockets, pulling out his pack of cigarettes and found himself snapping his fingers, to light one between his lips as he put the pack away. Three left. He contemplated as he took the cigarette out from in between his lips, and watched the smoke flow out of his mouth. "What a fucking day." James continued smoking, trying his best to take on the numbing feeling that cigarettes provided him. He made a note to try and fish out some money, somehow, and get himself some scotch. It was the only thing that really helped him, in terms of keeping himself under control. Three left. His thoughts repeated, continuing in their vicious cycle. There were only four left out of the pack and James knew soon there'd probably be three or two left soon enough, after all this, whatever this is, is over. "Could I have one?" spoke a soft voice, emanating from besides him. James felt himself fish out the same pack, yet again and saw the pale slim fingers of someone, a lady, take one of the three cigarettes out, before he closed and pocketed the pack. "Do you have a light?" James tried his best not to sigh, especially as he felt a second stream of smoke escape him. He looked over and snapped his fingers in front of her face, lighting her cigarette. "Thanks." She coughed slightly, as James focused on smoking away his thoughts. "Not much of a smoker?" questioned James, placing a hand in his pocket and using the other to routinely take the cigarette out of his mouth, before blowing and placing it back in between his lips. The lady shook her head. "In this line of work, you don't really get smoke breaks," joked the lady, politely. Her soft smooth voice was light, a little rough on the edges but judging from her appearance, it made sense. She seemed young, early twenties, with the same ambition and optimism springing from a sense of naivete in her brown eyes, that most people in their twenties had. Her skin was slightly pale, with her oak brown hair tied back. The lady wore a dark brown blazer, a pale blue office shirt underneath and a blue dress, to compliment it. "You must be new here." "Why do you say that?" asked James, by now the numbing feeling had overtaken him, providing him with a temporary relief before he would have to be brought back to reality. Unlike the smoke in the air, he couldn't float endless to the sky, escaping whatever hell he grounded himself upon. All to try and find his father. "I don't know," interrupted the young lady, James' eyes widened ever so slightly, as he found himself being brought back to reality sooner than he thought, much sooner than he wanted, at the very least. "I've just never seen you around here before." James murmured in agreement, nodding and noticing that he had barely smoked much of his cigarette. How much did he smoke in the past few minutes? At this rate it would take James two months to finally stop and crush it into the ground. "You work here, for The Broker, I'm guessing. Are you one of his Little Moose or whatever he calls you?" questioned James, he found himself doing a lot of questioning. But a stranger in foreign lands can't do anything other than that now, could they? Information is key, or at least that's what his past as a detective taught him, more specifically what Jaden taught him. "Little Mice," the lady corrected, James could tell she was smiling slightly. "And yes, I work for him. We collect information for him, or some of us here at The Citadel just do random office tasks for him. Menial things. All in exchange for money, protection, that kind of thing. I'm guessing you're one of the superhumans." "I didn't light that cigarette of yours from sheer willpower," chuckled James under his breath, realizing he had started smoking faster, dragging out as much smoke as he could. He scratched at his neck, feeling the hair that helped form his five o' clock shadow under his fingertips. The cool air just seemed to get colder. The lady shivered slightly. "So you must be the ones who actually do the hard work," commented the lady, she was looking down slightly guilty, before she rose up staring back at the nothingness that was the front of The Citadel. The common repetitive movements of the guards or other Little Mice walking and talking to one another about what superhuman was best, what was worse, who was doing what, or about the one who left The Citadel earlier, all of it was boring to the lady and all of it was starting to bore James. "How has it been?" "What makes you think I'd tell you?" replied James, he could feel the lady's almost shocked expression upon him. That same optimism emanating from her brown eyes, didn't seem to spring from naivety, not now, not ever. "You said it yourself. You're one of his Little Mice. You collect information, all in exchange for money or protection. How do I know you haven't been sent by The Broker to figure out if I'm going to leave him too?" James didn't like the sudden hostile tone that took over, no matter how calmly he expressed his words. But thankfully, for him, the hostile tone never appeared, instead it was replaced by a smile from the lady as she turned back to look at the nothingness once more. "You're a clever one, I'll give you that," spoke the lady softly, as she dropped the remainder of her cigarette and crushed it under her heel. "It's true, we do it for money or for protection. But we're not all here to spy on everyone. I only do it for myself, and for my family. Someone else who probably does it for money alone, will be the one to stab you in the back." She turned, starting to walk back towards the rewarding purgatory itself, back to her job. "I'll see you later, James Witt." James looked over his shoulder, mildly surprised, the numbing effect of the cigarette seemed to be working at the very least. "Wait." James almost commanded, as he turned to look at the lady, her hands in front of her, her face turned as she looked back over her shoulder. "Who are you?" James' mild surprise turned into mild interest as he saw the lady smile to herself, it wasn't an innocent smile yet it wasn't vindictive or evil, it was just a smile of its own type. "My name is Mira," answered the lady, turning around now so she faced James. "Mira Winters," she added, and with that she gave one last smile and walked back to The Citadel, leaving the sheriff alone with his cigarette.

- Dr Clueless - Clueless looked up at the great Golem before him "alright i wanna better look at this thing" he said reaching into his portable wormhole in his lab coat, he pulled out a metal boomerang with a bracelet and put the bracelet on his wrist, tapping on the screen to switch it on the boomerang started to light up "ah good the old Holorang still works, now to see what the golem is made of" he said pointing the holorang at the golem near him the screen displayed the text 'Target locked' on his bracelet, the Golem started to move as his foot got closer to Clueless "oh this is a bad place, got to throw this now!" he said rushing ahead and throwing the holorang infront of him , the holorang shot off and started to curl around the golem going up and down it scanning it "working... working..., there! their coming in, ok so its: stone, dirt a little bit of plant life, so its definitely made of EARTH!" he said still running to get out from under the Golems foot as he stepped down to punch a building, still running away from the Golem and looking back occasionally at his holorang and the golem Clueless looked back at the screen "ah, new stuff good, stone, dirt yeah i know that... bird? huh there must be bird nest in the tree on that thing, ah here we go, unknown... now what could that mean, it coul.. no wait its magic 'sigh' it had to be magic" he said still reading the screen, lifting up his arm with the bracelet on it he opened his palm signalling the holorang to return

- Hammerfist - Jason was among those at the Citadel who heard the message, and he reacted at a typically rapid pace. Darting out the fortress, he started to run towards the city. His pace was incredible, dust rising up behind him as he shot into action. It had been too long since he has indulged his more aggressive side. Some villain was about to have a very bad day. - Venator - Few things made it passed Venator's vigilant watch, and surprisingly enough a giant golem smashing the city was not one of them. Unlike the typical heroes, however, she did not race into action. The randomness, the savagery of the attack... It was all too obvious to the hunter that it was a diversion. It was as wild and destructive as an assault could be, and drawing attention was undeniably its goal. There was something else afoot, and she had to stop it. - Argent Mind - Argent Mind floated towards the battle scene, and immediately grimaced. It wasn't a good sight- the golem was the least of his issues, considering the inhuman figure floating above it all like a cruel puppet master. "Surrender!" He called out, his voice filled with his powerful presence. "Or I will be forced to bring you down."

- Bloodstream - Sienna was moving up onto the first floor, the lift jangling smoothly up with others managing to fit awkwardly in with her oversized trolley of stuff. She moved around the corners her lips mouthing the turns she had memorised before she stood next to the door that she planned to go through. The countdown continued in her mind it had still only been a few minutes and her feet began to do a fidgety little dance as she pretending to look through her supplies waiting for the sounds of Alice moving into action or at the very least the doctor she could see through the glass to step out of the pharmacy store. Waiting was always an issue for Sienna, it took a lot for her to keep all her thoughts running in tandem when she was not moving, they started to drift apart chasing their own priorities.

- The Pursuer - The creature didn't take notice, blind, deaf, or even stupid, especially so since many others had arrived, Argent most notably. Felt weird, especially since the reason he was in the city was to hunt him down and take him in, something he wasn't sure Argent would understand. Regardless, Andras approached the creature and tapped it's shoulder. Hopefully it'll respond, and if it did he had his shield ready to quickly deploy.

- The Anarchist - Ah, them. "Now that could be something valuable," murmured Acchilleus as he continued to text his ally from within The Citadel, trying to wrap their head around the situation over there. Apparently odd things had been happening such as the noticeable absence of not only Luke Jones, but others who remained nameless. It seemed the ally was either withholding information or unsure, for their sake, Acchilleus hoped it was the latter. But it no longer mattered. "Rick!" The Viper guard made his way over to Acchilleus. "What is it?" asked Rick, a tall man, presumably late twenties wearing cargo green pants, and army jacket, wearing boots and only having a white under shirt. Acchilleus made a note of how he should probably insure in getting bullet-proof vests for his men. "I've received some information. Good information. One of the people you've been looking for has left the comfort of The Citadel," informed Acchilleus. He kept his voice low, not wanting to spread this information out to the wrong people, especially with what he could be suggesting. "Meaning?" asked Rick, almost begging for clarification to have their hopes fulfilled. "Meaning they aren't under protection. It's the young one, specifically," continued Acchilleus. "I'm not saying you can kill him, but after we take over The Citadel, he'll be an easy target. For now, we could always send someone after him, someone that people know hasn't publicly declared for me." "And I can kill the others?" questioned Rick. Acchilleus nodded, before he turned to Kay. "We might need some information from you," started Acchilleus, smiling wildly, before he took a few more steps towards Kay as he spoke carefully. "What do you know about someone called Luke Jones?"

- Kay - Kay watched the waxy grin without twitching, the others meant Lilly and James of that they were reasonably sure. Whoever Rick was would need investigation, he had a shared past with Hunter and he was a subject they still felt a link with even if they had betrayed them. "I have spent some time with him. He is not someone you need worry about unless you wish to hurt those close to him, then he has showed strong signs of capable powers behind his aggression, he would do much damage to you. Removing him later it would be advisable to make it look like a suicide if you do not wish to alert his friends to the nature of his death, he has shown emotional instability in the past so it will be believable." The words came out clipped and neat. Inside Kay felt happy to know that Hunter had left the clutches of the Broker as they had suggested, yet this bubbled with the turmoil of what their employer wanted. They had cut ties with Hunter that was true, they owed him nothing. "If you want to have someone to watch or remove him I can do that more easily than anyone else you could pick." Kay wanted to be the one to approach him, they doubted he would react well to their presence especially if they chose to tell him what was going on but if it came down to it they would rather he was under their power. It might not be possible if Acchileus wanted other things but they had to try if only because Hunter saw them as alive when the mask was gone. And if he did want them to go at the worst it would be a merciful death, but there were other options Kay could save Hunter. Maybe just maybe they could do him a favour even though they did not owe him, even though he likely hated them after what they had said. It felt right. Kay smiled softly as they spoke yet the smile was for the simple thought. Is that not what friends are for.

- The Queen of Hearts - Elegantly, Alice glided between covers as she entered the hospital's outer ambulance bay where three ambulances sat parked. Two of them were empty but the leftmost one - marked with the letter 'F' - had still inside a paramedic taking ferocious bites out of a bacon sandwich and sipping from a canned lemonade. Alice watched the paramedic finish his lunch and, grabbing a small pebble from the ground, prepared to draw his attention. But to her luck he instead opened the door and climbed out, stepping into a nearby cranny to have a discreet, unpermitted smoke. Following him, she crept into the same alley and stood behind him while he used his jacket the shield his lighter from the wind, looking down at it. Without wasting any time she let out a tutting sound, giving him one moment of fear before striking him on the back of the head with the butt of her sidearm, knocking him out cold. Returning her pistol to his jacket, Alice lifted the paramedic over her shoulder and carried him effortlessly into the back of his own ambulance. Once inside she stripped him to his underwear and hung his uniform on a hanger for later. Her partner seemed to be develop a habit of quick changes, and no; the one who wasn't a magician. With her usual manner of speech Alice 'chimed' into comms "Alpha to Bravo, getaway is confirmed; should be real discreet. Keys in the alley, if you've got the urge for a smoke." She had hidden the keys in the cigarettes packet in the same cranny. "And make sure you check the back, vehicle Foxtrot." And with that done the ambulance was locked up and ready to go. All that was left was the action. And so Alice entered on the bottom-most floor, taking a lift all the way up to the highest; level 5. She placed a small charge on the top of the elevator for if she had to slow them down. It wasn't primed but all it would take is a flick of a switch. And then finally, she stepped into the main room of the floor and swiftly revealed her sidearm, firing three shots into the ceiling as her off-hand clutched at the sword hilt on her person.

- The Anarchist - "Well, aren't you so eager?" murmured Acchilleus as he watched Kay, trying to inspect their every moment. Part of him despised they were a robot, and seemed intelligent. They could always uphold their façade, trying to out-trick his every move and he would be none the wiser. He raised an eyebrow, noticing how they spoke of him as if they knew him well. A suicide? That could be possible. But why wait later when the moment is ripe for the plucking? That was when they looked over towards Rick. "Good. You're to find Luke Jones and kill him, or if you can manage it, take him prisoner. We'd have to keep this under wraps so don't even thinking of taking them back. I'm sure you can find a suitable warehouse-" or some other shit hole to leave him in. "Do you need me, sir?" growled Rick, who seemed to almost stutter at the last word, Acchilleus had to resist smiling. "Yes, I want you to go back on watch duty, try to help the others finish the fencing if you can," Acchilleus turned towards the robot. "If I hear Luke Jones is still free, I won't bother letting the next person to find him get the option to keep him hostage. Have fun hunting." And with that Acchilleus turned around and walked back, trying to order a couple of people in the apartment building, as he whipped out his phone and began texting once again.

- Oren - Oren was sitting cross legged on his platform when Argent Mind arrived. Who was commanding him to surrender. "If it isn't Argent Mind. I suggest you stand back or else these" He waved his hand to the paper caged up hostages, their heads the only thing exposed. Oren's magic was weaker but he had a small resevoire left over which was enough to keep him strengthning paper for a long time. "And if you attack, or do anything suspicious I will kill them. " The hostages screamed. "Now, if you want to keep these people alive and well, you will back off." - The Zap - Michael zipped out of the car. Speeding down an alleyway he changed quickly, considering he usually wore his costume under his clothes, keeping his mask in a secret place. He quickly returned to the car, "All ready?". The taxi driver didn't seem to care at all.
