- Kay - Kay gave a small nod and drifted off the building site raising their hood. Once they hit a few side streets away they had shifted their skin paler their clothes still fit but now to the curves of a woman rather than a man and bulges removed along with a shortening of their gait. They drew out their mobile tapping away a text message, they stopped short. It felt like this was not a time for writing. Putting the phone up to their ear they dialled Hunter's number that they had used before. It may not work, he may have cut all ties but it was a start that did not involve trawling the city for traces, breaking into his trace across the networks, on-line and in real life. Acchilleus had revealed his ruthless colours, it made Kay feel vindicated in their comparison of him to the Broker. He would use human beings as fodder and Hunter was simply food for this Rick. They listened to the tone as they stripped off their jacket placing it in a dumpster before continuing on into the crowds of other phone wielding pedestrians. One ring, Two rings... - Bloodstream - Sienna smiled as Alice's message came in over her phone, she had it hooked up using headphones to make it slightly less conspicuous. She replied in a whisper. "Bravo to Alpha. Thanks Alpha have a real blast out there." There was a metal edge to the trolley she worked with and she began to test the edge with a thumb, as a minute of counting after Alice's message went by. She did not hear whatever Alice had started but there was a movement of some security past her at about that time his radio spurting messages about gunfire. The Doctor had not left the store but Sienna was all out of patience, she placed a cordon off sign right across the corridor at both ends with biological hazard cleaning signs stuck at each one, it would keep others from coming too close for a short while. Sienna giggled a little at the thought that she was that very hazard. She took the metal edge running it up her right wrist letting out a stream of her blood that sizzled as it met the floor and began to quickly eat away at the door as she smeared it over it in a practised wipe, it took maybe thirty seconds till it lay in a molten puddle on the floor. "How did you get in here?" The female doctor exclaimed as Sienna approached them. "Shhh." Sienna said placing a blood coated finger on the woman's lips and driving it through to go out the other side of her head in a gurgling death exhalation hardly above a whisper as the vocal cords no longer reached the echo chamber of their mouth as the blood dissolved flesh coated bone. Sienna began to whistle as she wiped her hands on the dead woman's jacket before she began to work on piling up the boxes quickly and efficiently into the trolley she now pulled through the ruins of the door.

- Hunter - The deeply familiar sensation of his phone vibrating against his thigh reappeared, sending Luke into a hazy façade as he remembered when he hold onto his phone, as it was his lifeline. He was sent instructions, tasks, missions, whatever people called them, he got them. That was back in a time when he was free, true to himself and yet at the same time, trapped. Now things were different, he would have to somehow get involved, create a network of different people all requiring his abilities. His ability to manipulate technology was still untested, but as he fished out his phone, he decided to test it and found himself smiling weakly as the call was accepted without no effort. As he pressed the phone against his head, he silently hoped it was Broker, or even Lilly to tell him to come back, to return to them, and part of him would feel liberated in simply hanging up on the phone even if some guilt would strike him in a moments' notice. "Hello," said Luke plainly, wondering who was calling him, perhaps one of Broker's idiotic Little Mice that had been spotting and spying on him ever since he fled The Citadel. "Who is this?" Luke was running out of patience, not hearing even a single breath on the other end. He tapped his foot, starting to get into the habit of walking around as he waited for some indication that someone called him with a purpose, whatever that purpose may be.

- Kay - "Hunter it's Kay." Their voice softened as his familiar tones of annoyance responded. Hopefully this would make it easier. "Please don't hang up. I need to see to you." Kay felt the sounds of worry start to churn inside them, it felt so disconnected as their mind split down two future paths. They knew that hypothetical situations helped them plan out their steps helped them prepare but right now it clouded the issue. "You are in so much danger right now." There was no point in lying quite yet.

- Infra Red - Infra red found a woman on the floor with her leg trapped under a large bit of rubble "oh please help" she said in pain reaching out to Red "alright cover your eyes" he said as he pointed at the rubble, once she looked away Red shot a beam destroying the ruble on her leg "ok you can look now, lets get you out of here" he said reaching down to pick her up "thank you" she said relieved looking up to Argent he was busy talking to the man who started this, hearing sirens in the distance getting closer Red ran with the woman to the edge of the area, ambulances came rushing around the corner and stopped at the edge of the street "over here!" Red shouted as a medic ran out "take her ill get more people out of there" Red said as he rush back into the area with the golem - Dr Clueless - Clueless saw a man tapping the Golems shoulder "good luck talking to a rock" He shouted, turning away and looking back on his screen he tried to figure out where the magic came from "man i hate magic if only i loaded the hard drive to counter act it i might be able to do something" the screen reflected showing what was above him as he saw two people floating above "whos that?" he said looking up, pulling down his goggles and looking up Clueless zoomed in to see who was have a conversation above "oh its Argent, good thing i came prepared" he said hitting his head as he had a metal plate in there preventing his mind from being read "but whos that? could he be the one controlling this Golem?" Clueless said wondering who he was

- Hunter - Luke didn't say a word. Part of him wanted to hang up, another wanted to listen to what they had to say. You are in so much danger right now. Tired. He was tired of it all. Always being in danger, always having to be protected or looked after. He thought that after enduring three years without his sister, a riot in the city and an army of mercenaries, and a helicopter threatening to blow his head into chunks, people would finally realize Luke wanted to be left alone, to swim in dangerous waters, alone. He hung up the phone, and watched as he gripped it tightly in his cold hand. A sense of anger that Kay had the nerve to call him almost made him want to watch the phone tear itself to pieces, crumbling and sending sparks as if it were its last dying breaths, to truly disconnect himself. But at the same time, Luke realized it was a stupid notion and simply pocketed the phone, pacing around his small apartment. Let's assume two things. Kay is alone right now, they have no reason to help me. They would never go back to The Broker, unless they were in trouble too, and either way I could hardly care. Yet Luke, for some reason, whatever it was, an inkling of conscience told him to believe Kay, to trust in their every word. He may have labelled it naivete, but at the same time he knew being holed up in this apartment building wouldn't keep him any safer. Luke found himself changing his clothes. He looked down at his brown leather jacket, dusty, he hadn't worn it ever since the first few months Lilly had "died". His black sweater on top of his grey shirt was underneath. He put on his dark grey cargo trousers, his brown boots and felt himself pull his scarf up to his nose, after making sure his gear was all there and at least somewhat easy to reach, he quickly rushed out of his apartment building. The fading nausea, the bitter cold, and the drained energy held him back, but he kept on going, running down his street and into an alley, hoping to find some access to a rooftop.

- Kay - Kay was disappointed but not surprised at the sound of the phone clicking off. They tucked the phone into their pocket as they headed down a side street. There was no point wasting time calling again. The mass of people on the street was eating at them, they felt so other so alone today. Kay looked up to the thin blue of the sky above, talking to Hunter reminded them of the freedom up there. Shaking their hair short they climbed up a fire escape scaling to the horizon above and as they ran each jump from roof to roof let them fly free.

- Argent Mind - Argent Mind kept his distance, and shook his head. "I'm not going to do anything drastic, so long as you don't." He responded, considering the situation. Paper wasn't the most resilient of materials, and he could, possibly, break the hostages free without hurting them. It truly depended on the abilities of the terrorist, but he was an unknown entity, a strange and abnormal figure who was apparently new on the scene. He needed to know more... But when he reached out with his mind, he could find little purchase. "Tell me why you're doing this? Who are you?" - Hammerfist - Jason arrived on the scene, and saw the golem smashing buildings. Narrowing his eyes, he charged into action, sprinting up to the brute with his astounding speed and delivering a savage blow, brimming with power and momentum, into it's leg. It was an impact that would shatter concrete, so it was likely to leave a mark.

- The Queen of Roses - Mira walked through the corridors of The Citadel, embracing the occasional glance and murmur in her direction as everyone before her ha done so in the past or would d so in the future. Unsure of whether her actions had gained her some form of notoriety amongst those at The Citadel, she simply had the thought in mind left as a possibility. A possibility. She could almost her the small giggle of laughter. Of course it was a possibility. But it wasn't a good one, she knew that. It would definitely prove troublesome if The Broker or anyone significant like his sister, were to hear of her, and what she had done. Little Mice spying on Little Mice? A possibility. The same thought repeated in her head. Mira continued walking, trying her best to think of a way out of this situation. What she needed now, most of all was- "Sorry, Mira." A voice interrupted, as Mira felt herself almost bump into someone as they both turned corners, and met one another. Perfect. In front of her was Lilly Jones, looking more sombre than ever, and Mira could hardly blame her after the events that transpired. But that was exactly why she needed to speak to her. "Is everything okay?" "Lilly, I need to see you," whispered Mira, stopping to turn and smile at two men from the Little Mice who were whispering something to one another about Councillor Paige. By the time they had gone, Mira urged Lilly to follow her, Lilly staying close behind as she glanced at Mira curiously. "What's going on Mira?" asked a concerned Lilly, her mind was clearly on other things, namely one of them being of importance. However, at the same time that didn't stop her from being worried about what Mira meant, especially when she found herself dragged back into a random bedroom which she guessed could be Mira's for all she knew. "Mira?" Mira sighed to herself quietly, figuring out how she was going to play this before she turned. "The Broker sent me to talk to you," answered Mira, this tiny chunk of information would hopefully tease Lilly, persuading her to find out more. Lilly looked to the side, trying to think of why Broker would send someone to see her, what it could be about. "He's concerned about Luke." Lilly sighed. "So am I. But what does he want me to do about it? I have no idea where he could be, or even if he wants to see me," explained Lilly, causing Mira to look down to the floor, faking her guilty expression. She looked back up, ready to explain everything.

- The Pursuer - Andras was close enough to see that someone had already taken action on the creature. It wasn't responding, it was causing havoc, it must be silenced. As the individual took the legs Andras took the chest. He grabbed the hilt of the new blade, activated it so it would appear, and proceeded to give the creature a stab in the chest towards the ground. Too easy, he thought to himself. - The Chaser - There were some pops from above the room, faint but noticeable. Claudia's monitor went off, gun shots apparently, and from the timing there was a possibility that the creature on the opposite side of the town might have something to do with it. A guess, but considering the relative peace she wouldn't be surprised if the two were connected. "Central, this is Kramer, inform the Tower that we might have a situation at the hospital, bring in the transport for evacuation." "Copy, Tower and Citadel informed, evac on route, proceed with caution." Claudia sighed to herself and said to Benedict "If whoever set off that pistol on the top floor had a plan then I would imagine they have a contingency plan for if things go wrong." Benedict sat up and stood back on his feet, putting on his shirt and jacket in the process. "So we're still clearing the place out?" "Yes but we're going to have to do it discreetly." Claudia took the sheet and one of the grappling hooks and proceeded to open the window. The hook detached to the alleyway below, and tied it to a secure point inside the room. "Go door to door and bring the patients here quietly, get down the alleyway and wait for the transport." Benedict expressed some concern, but said, "just keep upstairs busy". And with that, the two cousins left the room and proceeded to do their duties. Claudia took the stairs up to the top floor, just one floor up, and peeked under to see who was there. Human, female, with a firearm. All she could make out from the limited vision, but she had to take a shot. She checked her equipment, pistol and baton, arm only missing one hook and wire, fully prepared. One....two.....three. She kicked down the door.

- The Tower - Tower command was a scene of hectic, if organised, action as the report of the hospital attack came in from the Citadel. Any heroes not aready moving on the hostage situation were directed towards the new attack, and the police were equally notified. In scant moments the city had been scrambled to face this attack. - Shade - The evac VTOL lifted up from the Citadel, and set off towards the hospital. Shade, standing behind the pilot, readied herself for action. She had personally taken charge of the craft and was using it to both help hospital, and ensure her own ability to aid in whatever came next. Claudia had to get out alive- her last death was an event that driven the Broker to his darkest extreme. That wasn't something Shade would allow to happen again. - Venator - The police sirens rang through the city, catching Venator's attention swiftly. She peered down and looked at the rapidly swarming law enforcers, assuming they'd be heading towards the golem. It was surprising, then, that many of them were not- instead, they were heading away, moving in the direction of the city hospital. So that was what the distraction was for... Blinking forwards, she moved to battle.

- The Queen of Hearts - The staircase door fell to the ground as Alice quickly turned her head to face the intruder. Guffawed mockingly, she proclaimed "Well that was awfully fast!" Quickly and effortlessly Alice pulled one of the doctors - a large, tall man - into her grasp, holding him as a shield and holding a sword to his throat. As her eyelids dropped so did her humour, "One more step; any interruptions and I'd kill him... then you, then everyone in this room before you can can even react."

- Hunter - Luke climbed up one of the steel pipes, attached to a random building of sorts. He tried to remember what it was, perhaps some factory turned to an office, that's all he could remember. As he found himself gripping the edge of rooftop, he almost felt a sensation, as if someone who was drowning had finally risen up to gulp at the fresh air for the first time, a sensation of freedom. As Luke looked around trying to calculate which rooftop to go upon, where he could go, he figured somewhere overwhelmingly public, a place with a crowd, such as a- Museum. He turned to see the roof of the museum, standing just inches above the others, with skyscrapers off to the side or some of their bodies hidden behind it, at least from this angle. As Luke started making his way across rooftops, jumping, running off the walls, and trying his best to use pipes and fences for a boost, flowing through the air he found himself making his way one roof, one particular roof where this all started.

- Oren - Oren yawned, "Why am I doing this? Well, I was bored to all hell and causing a bit of havok in this city is as easy as pie. And who i am? I am just some "kid" who wanted to have a little fun." He grinned. Heroes... they were a bit daft sometimes. Golem was knocked slightly to the side, staggering a tiny bit as it looked down at the medium sized dent in its leg. It couldn't feel pain so it didn't feel angry at the attack to its foot, and the blade that came along with it didn't bother it either. And for the man who was on top of the creature, with his flimsy blade barely anyway into Golem it lifted its great hand and clutched Andras before kicking at the smaller bulky one.

- Dr Clueless - "wow this is not going good for you know is it fellas?" Clueless said as he moved out of the way when the man who was kicked came close to him, looking down at the screen he tried to figure out a way to stop the golem "hmm, if you wanna take it down try hitting the joints that usually works" he said as an image of the golem appear on his screen, walking backwards hes foot tapped on the curb looking down at it and across from him and saw a fire hydrant Clueless had an idea "hey you, the one who grabbed its leg" he shouted to Jason "kick the top of that fire hydrant and aim the water at the golem, it might slow it down kinda melt it sorta" he shouted 'that might work or it might go in the wrong direction and make it more powerful but we'll see when it happens' he thought

- Raven - "Mira, what is it?" asked Lilly slightly concerned by Mira's behaviour. But it wasn't just her behaviour that put Lilly on edge, it was her words. Yet at the same time, her behaviour didn't help calm her down, Lilly narrowed her eyes as she watched Mira almost begin pacing looking worriedly around, as if there was someone who could be hearing them. "There's something you're not telling me." Despite not knowing her long, Lilly had grown to liking Mira more than any of The Little Mice, though she hardly made conversation with any of the others. Yet at the same time, Mira had seemed to grown to be something of a personal assistant to her, when she needed it, and most of the time she did. Mira helped Lilly find Luke before, maybe she could do it again. "There's something-" Mira stopped herself short, Lilly suspected it was almost like she feared something, or someone. But who? "Something is going on. I don't know who, but someone at The Citadel is plotting something and I think they know where Luke is, or where the other missing people are. I mean, well, I don't exactly know who, but some people are definitely missing from The Citadel. Do you have any idea about this?" Lilly instantly thought about Alex, and the strange letter they left behind. They knew now they were trapped, it was either to stay in The Citadel with a snake, or to survive in Heartania among the vipers. "No," lied Lilly. She turned not willing to face Mira, not right now. Though her mind centred around Alex, and Jade who they hadn't seen or heard anything about or from since dawn, but most of all she worried about Luke. The trio could be dead for all Lilly was concerned. Their enemies grew by the day, in strength, in numbers, in support, whilst their own dwindled. If anything, Lilly knew for certain she wasn't going down with this ship. "But we have to do something." Lilly walked out of her room, Mira quickly following and walking quickly besides her, murmuring. "What are we-" questioned Mira as they roamed the corridors, she paused to smile at one of the Little Mice, a younger more fair woman who furrowed her brows as she spotted the two, evidently she either didn't like Mira, or Lilly, or possibly both. "What are we going to do?" Lilly tried thinking it through. "We can head to The Broker, appeal to him. Maybe he can help us," suggested Lilly, though her stomach turned at the idea. Mira shook her head. "We can't. It could be someone dangerous, planning this all from within The Inner Circle for all we know," replied Mira, who sighed in frustration though to Lilly, it almost sounded forced. "Look, maybe we should try and get some more information first, find out who this really is. I'll try and stay close to The Broker, and see if I can get anything out of him." "If my brother is in danger-" started Lilly. Mira shushed her, as she watched two people come around the corner. She looked at Lilly, urging her to stay silent much to her dismay as the two people walked out of earshot. "We don't know if he is. But we can't go assuming, and right now The Citadel needs you more than ever. If he is in danger, I'll tell you. I've got to go, people can't see me talking to you for too long, but we will find him," promised Mira, and with that she left, leaving Lilly panicked and at the same time, frustrated. Lilly knew she couldn't do much, even if she were to traverse the whole of Heartania and all the other cities, there was no way of knowing where he is or even if he was in danger. After their last encounter, Lilly certainly wasn't going to risk another fight, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to risk herself. She quickly found herself remembering a vital detail. One that she had easily skipped over in a haze of flurried thoughts, and started rushing down the opposite end of the corridor, hoping that Mira would find something, because right now time was of the essence, and her situation was growing more dire by the second.
