- Acchilleus - "Yes we need more. When do you think you can get them to us?" asked Acchilleus pacing as he was on the phone, he could still hear his assistant talking over the others and trying his best to lead the others, and so far the ground floor was being patched up with many of the windows broken and furniture in need of repair. Cracks on the wall suggested the foundation needed some work in itself. Acchilleus was already could see how the task was frustrated. The second group was focusing on a small hospital which took two blocks behind the apartment building wasn't greatly damaged, but broken glass, rubble and sorts were on the floor, with itself needing a lot of work and repair. The only thing left was a small store next to the apartment building. Clearly this was definitely going to need a lot of work and he considering using his...power in order to aid them. However he figured that it would best that they earn an appreciation for the 'Safe Zone' as opposed to have it given to them. Acchilleus smiled. At least the fencing was going good; the fence starting on the pavement opposite of the block so it cut the road off, yet there were other routes surely, and seeing as the planned sixteen blocks of the 'Safe Zone' were uninhabited and practically abandoned, Acchilleus was assured no one would mind, hopefully. - Raven - Lilly woke up with a yawn, stretching her arms out as her hair reached down to her shoulders. She was always one to sleep in and hoped nothing serious had happened whilst she was asleep. So as a precaution, she woke up much earlier than she'd used to and started to get ready. As she did mundane tasks from taking her shower, to putting her hair in a ponytail, all she could think about was last night. The way Luke was determined and driven, the way he had just angrily attacked The Broker and argued against her. It made her almost stop styling her hair, as she thought about it. He seemed so different and determined. She didn't know whether that was a good thing or a bad thing. But what Lilly did know, was that Luke was more than likely going to abandon The Citadel, which was just something she couldn't accept, not with the Viper Gang members returning. As she finished getting ready, and stepping out, she knocked on Luke's door. After a while of waiting, she opened to find him gone. Turning, Lilly saw Mira who seemed to be walking down the hall with a clipboard and a pen. "Mira, do you know where Luke is?" asked Lilly, somewhat concerned and Mira turned somewhat startled as Lilly suddenly approached her without her noticing. "Yes. I saw him earlier today with the other guy, he said something about going to a diner the two of you used to visit," informed Mira, and she walked away just as Lilly thanked her. As she stepped out into the courtyard, to see Luke's motorcycle gone, she tried to put herself in Luke's perspective. She was also incredibly infuriated with The Broker but understood that she couldn't risk leaving The Citadel after what happened last time her and Luke confronted the Vipers. She sighed in frustration, as she knew exactly what diner it was and began walking from The Citadel, as she tried to piece together the quickest way to get to the diner.

- La Mirage - Time seemed to slow down as Jade listened to the call. When it ended the phone fell from her ear, yet the cup levitated as her hand lost contact with its smooth porcelain handle. ..deep breaths, Jade. Deeeep breaths. You recorded the message with that app. You have evidence. While her eyes changed colours to white, then black, then white again, she remained frozen until her eyes suddenly gained but a streak of pink in them. “Jonathan..” She trembled and picked up her phone which had fallen down into her lap. I need to call him. She quickly dialed his number. …the person you’re trying to reach is not available at the moment. Please try again later. *Beep* Jade flickered for a few seconds and called down to the reception of the Citadel, hoping they knew where he was. “He’s unavailable at the moment.” “Where is he?” The assistant hesitated, but answered Jade nonetheless. “He’s undergoing surgery right as we speak.” “..oh. When.. Did he leave a message for me?” “Not that I’m aware of. He will be back sometime later today.” “..thank you.” Jade hung up and grabbed a pillow off the bed. As her face pressed against the soft fabric the porcelain cup fell to the floor and shattered. Anyone passing by the Jade’s bedroom wouldn’t hear her muffled, angry scream or the bunch of loose paper fluttering around behind the locked door.

- The Speaker - Ragno was pouring over reports on his recent purchases in the city when his secretary called him. He was getting his interview, as he knew he would. More interestingly, it was with the rookie reporter who had provided the morning news... Hatty Bellcrest. New as she was, Ragno knew very little about her. It was sure to be a learning experience for both of them. Chucking to himself, he went back to work, making a note to be on time. - Reaver - After showering and changing, Reaver decided it was time to confirm her meeting. First, she texted Card, knowing he'd likely be up by now. Meeting today? Give me time, I'll be there. R. After that, she decided to phone Snow, likely the only other Ravager after Inferno bailed on them. That, frustrating as it was, was a matter that had to be dealt with later. - Shade - Shade had been making her rounds of the Citadel, keeping track of the night-time goings on, when she heard the crash of shattering porcelain. She froze, turning to face Jade's room... She was sure it came from there. Silently striding forwards, she pressed her head against the crack to the door to see if her sharp senses could pick anything up. She could almost hear something, but it was muffled and difficult to make out. "Jade?" She called out, concerned. "Are you alright in there?"

- Snowflake - "Hey Ree!" Snowflake picked up at once, possibly giving Reaver a brief moment of surprise, "When and where is the deal?" - La Mirage - Shade. Jade had stopped screaming, but was still a minute away from answering the shadow's question. Without lifting her face from the pillow, she peeked over its edge to find that she had magically transported herself to the other side of the room. How did I..? She trembled but her telekinesis was steady as she unlocked the door and opened it slowly, to reveal what could only be described as a chaotic mess. The once neatly arranged files had been emptied for their contents and strewn across the room, giving the illustration of an office workers worst nightmare. Jade's purple top hat had somehow found its way out of the closed suitcase underneath her bed along with a deck of cards, both lain on top of a pile of paper next to the shattered porcelain cup. Jade let out a muffled "no", flickered, and hid her eyes again.

- Reaver - Reaver blinked at the rapid response, dropping the muffin she had been eating for breakfast. It hit the ground with a depressing thwump. "Snow!" She managed, recovering her composure after hastily swallowing what was left in her mouth. "Were you waiting for me to call or something? I don't think even I could be that quick on the draw." - Shade - Shade paused, thinking about what to do next. Her few days of existance had not really prepared her for a situation like this, and Nightmare's memories were sadly lacking in examples on kindness or support. That the room looked like it had been the sight of a miniature hurricane didn't help her ability to react. Eventually, her reeling mind settled on a response that lacked eloquence but made up for it in clarity. "Shit Jade! What the hell is up?"

- Bloodstream - "I wish I had been up sooner. Then I could have got a new bed and burned this one extra vermin included." Sienna grumbled one last time though only lightly as her hair came back under control. She ran her fingers through the smoothed down mass, happy to feel away the last few knots. "When do you want to head for the hospital?"

- Oren - Oren covered his groin when Sienna suggested crushing it. "Oooh ouch! Darling I know you don't know your own strength sometimes but you should watch it when you grip it." He joked, giving her a little wink. Alice bursting in and screaming about not getting up soon enough made him want to roll his eyes but he resisted the urge to. Then Sienna's comment on him being vermin was funny. "Vermin huh? Then what are you?". "I feel like the smartest plan would to go at night, Around 6-ish. Because if we think of it, The heroes would have had a long day of fighting crime etc. So when they come to us they'll be weaker."

- Snowflake - Snowflake chirped back as she munched on a spoonful of cereal. "I'm glad I still surprise you. This is what happens when I get a good nights sleep. How's the living flamethrower doing?" - La Mirage - Jade hugged the pillow a little tighter and let out a shriek. After another couple of deep breaths she looked up and stretched her hand towards her phone, which flew across the room and landed in her palm. Jade's fingers shook ever so slightly as she turned up the volume and replayed the voicemail, then the recorded conversation. "..I don't know- *hic*" She drew another deep breath. "I don't know what to do. I tried to call Jon, but he's in surgery- he didn't even leave a message for me! *hic* I think I'm going to explode! AAaa-" The pillow covered her face again and turned her outburst into a growl.

- Jessica Paige - Jessica watched as the black bags were dumped into the sea, each containing a piece of the former police commissioner. The weight of the rocks and the current carrying them will keep Jessica out of police interest for some time. The man hit the Blythe, and he kept it until the end. If she was going to find Blythe she would need to build influence and strike the Blythe's to the core. She'll need a list of people, targets, and other things that will help her. - Benedict Strahm - Benedict was quick to get the information. "Oh, hello. Yes sure!" He scrambled to find the paper with the information on it, before saying "It's the Happy Safety Insurance company, it's based in the business district. I suspect they'd conducting fraud and taking advantage of the recent riots."

- Reaver - Reaver frowned at that, kicking the stricken muffin across the room. "No idea. She's taken to ignoring me, for whatever reason." She sighed, her frustration at her absent 'ally' only slightly showing. "It's annoying, but if she wants to abandon us, she can. That does mean the money she earned for the last few days is going spare... Do you know of anyone who'd like that?" - Shade - Shade stepped forwards, slightly on edge. "Shade... Brokes is in surgery and won't be functional for a good while..." She muttered, taking a seat next to Jade. Slowly, awkwardly, she placed what she holed was a comforting arm on Jade's shoulder. "But he's not the only one who can help you. Do... Do you know who this mystery bitch is?" The reference to a brother was putting a pretty awful idea on her head, and she was praying she was wrong.

- Kay - Kay froze. Scalpel hovering perfectly still in the air poised over the phone. Had he really dared do this. Of course he had. They knew the company name already, they knew the case, they even knew the likely name of the man calling them. It had been read off a tablet not even a day ago. "I do apologise Mr Strahm, I presume. I will be turning down your case. Ask your source for a new name." The tone had an edge to it of warning. "Please do not contact me again." With that they hung up without waiting for a reply. Kay did not bother asking who had called them, it was unlikely they could prove it was him. The Broker was an over-confident man in his actions here but not a straight up moron. It was truly unfortunate they would have to kill him in the near future if no one else got there first. The scalpel moved back to the material higher functions put to the back of their mind as they focused all on the task at hand.

- Benedict Strahm - The phone hung up unexpectedly. Rudeness...or anger? Did he have to beg? There's no one else that can help him without possible compromise to safety. Happy Safety Insurance seems to be cheating people out of payouts and the foul play involved could be massive. Strahm wasn't too sure what to do and looked at his two recent contacts. One was to Kay, whom had just hung up, and the other was to the Citadel. This frustrated him to no end and the Citadel likely wouldn't want to find another contact, given that they have a lot more things to do. He hovered his finger over the call button...before simply locking his phone and leaving the office. "Boss". Benedict turned, it was Andras, still here after cleaning up the leftovers. "Good night?" "Aside from an altercation in the bathroom." "You sent the bill out?" "I got Tony to try and find who did it, not sure if we can find that robot." Benedict sighed, slightly frustrated. "Get some of the builders from Karma to repair it. Last thing we need are drunk people wetting themselves." Andras nodded his head as Benedict left. A short walk later he was at Full House. He entered, got a hundred worth of chips, and sat down at a poker table with coffee. He needed to calm down and contemplate his next moves. Should he call Kay again? Or could there be another option.
